Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

"Brother Haoyan, keep it up!" To make it easier to watch, Shafiya came from backstage to the front row and cheered loudly for Haoyan.

Safia's shout seemed to be a signal.

Many audience members shouted Haoyan's name loudly to cheer him on.

"Haoyan! Keep it up!"

"Go for it, Haoyan!"

"come on!"

... ...

Chapter 214 A Head-to-Head Battle

"The final match of the Kaina City Museum Director Election Competition!"

"Start now!" The referee waved his flag and announced the start of the match.

"Come out!" Aaron threw the Poké Ball into the arena first.

Automatically, the relevant information appeared in Haoyan's mind.

Pokémon: Metagross

[Attribute]: Steel, Psychic

[Level]: 62

[Ability]: Cleanse (Under normal circumstances, this Pokémon will not suffer stat reduction from the opponent's moves.)

[Introduction]: Metagross is a ruthless predator that uses its four claws and massive body to firmly hold down its prey, then gnaws at it with the teeth on its abdomen.

... ...

Pokémon: Steelix

[Attributes]: Steel, Ground

[Level]: 62

【Characteristic】: Hard Head (Even when using moves that would cause recoil damage, HP will not decrease.)

[Introduction]: Like Onix, Steelix is gray. Its eyes are predominantly red and quite fierce, and its tail resembles a nail.

... ...

Pokémon: Gengar

[Attributes]: Ghost, Poison

[Level]: 62

[Ability]: Cursed Body (When a Pokémon with this ability is attacked, there is a chance that the target will be immobilized.)

[Note:] Immobilize (Immobilizes a Pokémon for a certain duration. While immobilized, the Pokémon cannot use the last move it used before entering immobilize.)

[Introduction]: If you suddenly feel a chill approaching, it means that Gengar is near you, and it may have already placed a curse on you.

... ...

Hao Yan looked at Aaron and the three Pokémon with somewhat blank expressions, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

These three Pokémon, despite their different attributes, all possess that one move.

That skill once gave Haoyan a very bad memory!

"Come out, Little Ou, Little Lu, Little Si!"

Haoyan suppressed his thoughts and released his Pokémon.

"Luca!"

"Shanai~"

"Class! Class!"

Warriors, assassins, and tanks form a small team.

Like Haoyan, Aaron's three Pokémon also have different roles.

Gengar, a combination of Ghost and Poison, excels at surprise attacks.

Metagross, with its Steel and Psychic combination, has excellent resistances, and its physical and special attacks are both quite good, making it a warrior that can both attack and withstand attacks.

Steelix is an excellent physical tank, unparalleled in physical defense, even stronger than Aggron.

Its ten-meter length, when stretched out horizontally, can help the team withstand tremendous damage.

At the start of the match, Aaron made the first move: "Steel Snake uses Ice Fang to attack Tyranitar!"

Steelix swung its tail and sped towards Tyranitar.

Although Steelix is slightly bulky due to its steel body, it is quite fast when it moves.

It opened its mouth and its sharp, cold teeth snapped at Tyranitar.

"Metamorphoses, use your mace, attack Tyranitar together!"

Metagross darted forward, swinging its metal claws in an attempt to attack Tyranitar.

"Gengar, hide and prepare to attack!"

Gengar's figure gradually faded, disappearing behind Steelix.

Tyranitar's massive size perfectly blocked Lucario and Gardevoir from behind.

Trying to bypass him and attack the back row is obviously unrealistic.

Although Tyranitar has a large body, it is not as strong as Steelix in terms of defense.

Therefore, Aaron must first break through Bengilas in order to successfully attack the back row.

After Aaron made his move, Hao Yan followed up with his command: "Xiao Ou, rush in front of Metagross and block its attack."

"Luca!"

Lucario acted swiftly, slightly faster than Metagross, and quickly used his Iron Arm to block Metagross's Iron Claw.

Arm Hammer is a fighting-type skill.

Metagross lacks the Fighting attribute and fails to grasp the essence of its skills when using them.

Lucario, on the other hand, is different.

His blood is thick with the essence of fighting.

Under the tutelage of the martial arts master Hao Yan, his mastery of martial arts skills has reached a level of unparalleled proficiency.

With a simple parry, he accurately found the point where Metagross's body was unable to exert force.

He blocked Metagross's attack by parrying.

Although the attack was blocked, Metagross was very heavy, weighing 550KG, and its immense strength caused the ground beneath Lucario's feet to shatter.

"Spirit, Steelix, use Fire Fang."

Bangilas is an offensive tank; simply defending is not his fighting style.

"Class! Class!"

With a roar, it took a step forward to meet the giant steel snake!

Bang!

Tyranitar and Steelix collided, producing a loud crash.

Then, using its claws, it grabbed the giant steel snake.

He opened his mouth and took a bite with his sharp teeth!

He directly traded blows with Steelix.

Tyranitar and Steelix's running around completely destroyed the battlefield.

In an instant, sand flew everywhere.

Visibility has been significantly reduced.

"Little Lu, be careful of Gengar's sneak attacks at any time!"

The rising smoke could very well mean that a Gengar, which is lurking nearby, will suddenly make a move.

This is something we must be wary of.

Gardevoir releases its energy in all directions, constantly scouting Gengar's location.

The first round of the match between the two sides was quite intense and confrontational.

... ...

Chapter 215 A regional champion actually relied on his senses.

After the first round of contact, Aaron did not allow his team's main damage dealer, Gengar, to launch an attack.

The main reason is that Gardevoir was on guard and had no chance to make a move.

Ghost-type is super effective against Psychic-type.

Conversely, Gengar has a Poison type.

It was also subject to restraint.

If there is no chance of a decisive blow, and the opponent counterattacks, then...

Then Gengar is very likely to fall.

Haoyan paid no attention to Aron's thoughts.

He began to command his Pokémon to launch a counterattack: "Oh, use Dark Pulse!"

"Luca!"

Lucario roared, and black energy surged from its body, rippling towards Metagross in front of it.
