Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

"Hunter J is no match for Cynthia, but she may have other ways to escape."

While Hao Yan was pondering, Hunter J was already clearly at a disadvantage.

A Salamence at its peak, facing three Champion-level Pokémon.

They were suppressed and unable to fight back.

Seemingly sensing despair, Hunter J pulled out a black Poké Ball and threw it.

Suddenly, a fiery red bird-like Pokémon flew out.

... ...

Chapter 289 The Imposter Moltres

"Beep~"

Hunter J released a Moltres that let out a high-pitched cry.

boom!!!

The flamingo unleashed its power, and with a flap of its wings, a wave of intense heat swept through it.

The terrifying pressure caused the temperature within a one-kilometer radius of the Moltres to rise by a full 15 degrees Celsius!

Cynthia, who was giving instructions, was stunned when she suddenly saw the appearance of the Flame Bird.

Zhu Lan, who is familiar with the myths and legends of various regions, is no stranger to the appearance of the firebird.

The flamingo is one of the three legendary birds of the Orange Islands.

Is Hunter J's ability to poach Pokémon really that strong?

Is it possible to catch Moltres, one of the three legendary birds?

Just as Cynthia was stunned, Hunter J seized the opportunity and immediately commanded Moltres, "Morpho, use Brave Bird!"

The crimson flames on the Moltres enveloped its entire body.

The air seemed to have been completely depleted of moisture.

A terrifying heatwave swept through.

The flamingo swiftly attacked the stunned Cynthia.

When masters clash, no moment can be taken lightly.

By the time Zhu Lan realized what was happening, it was already too late.

He quickly commanded, "Garuda, use Protect!"

A white energy shield appeared in front of Garchomp.

It barely managed to block the Flame Bird's attack without taking any damage.

However, the powerful impact still managed to knock Garchomp away.

A powerful impact suddenly struck, and Cynthia, who was sitting on Garchomp, fell off Garchomp.

Fortunately, she also has two flying Pokémon.

"Warrior Falcon!" the falling bamboo orchid cried out.

Warrior Falcon swiftly caught Zhu Lan with his broad back.

Hunter J knew that this Moltres was strong, but it was still no match for Cynthia's three Champion-level Pokémon.

If we don't seize this opportunity, and Zhu Lan recovers, then she will be the one to lose.

"Molotov, Heat Wave, Flame Burst!"

With a flap of its wings, the flamingo unleashed a wave of flaming heat.

Then, it opened its mouth and immediately spewed out a dazzling flame.

The flames seemed capable of burning everything in sight!

Moltres's attack bypassed Garchomp and Toxtin, heading straight for Cynthia, who was still unsteady on her feet and riding on Brave Falcon.

If this move lands squarely on Warrior Falcon, it could very well injure Bamboo Orchid as well.

At the critical moment, a Pokémon engulfed in black flames blocked the attack.

The flames emitted by the Moltres were dispersed by a black flame.

Haoyan, riding his Super Charizard Y, blocked the crucial attack.

Are you alright?

Haoyan looked at Zhulan behind him with concern.

"fine!"

Zhu Lan, having regained her footing on the Warriors' Falcon, replied to Hao Yan.

"That's good!" Hao Yan turned his gaze back to the firebird in front of him.

Automatically, the relevant information appeared in his mind.

[Pokémon]: Finch (temporarily transforms into Moltres form)

[Attribute]: Fire, Flying

[Rank]: 75 (Near Champion)

[Ability]: Flame Body (When attacking a Pokémon with this ability using a contact move, there is a chance of inflicting burn.)

[Introduction]: Originally just an ordinary Finch, it absorbed Moltres's genes and temporarily gained Moltres's power.

... ...

"A big-billed sparrow?"

"Could it be a product of the Rockets' genes?"

When Haoyan saw the big-mouthed peacock, he was reminded of the Rockets.

The Rockets have consistently been at the forefront of genetic research.

It's not surprising that they were able to create Mewtwo, and thus create the fake Moltres that exists today.

... ...

When J saw Haoyan help Zhulan out of the predicament, his face immediately turned cold.

If it weren't for Haoyan just now, she might have been able to take this opportunity to harm or even severely injure Zhulan.

If hatred has levels, Hunter J's hatred for Haoyan can be described as penetrating to the bone!

Her desperate situation today is entirely because of Haoyan!

However much he hates her, Hunter J is aware of her current situation.

With Zhu Lan having recovered and joining forces with Hao Yan, she simply had no chance!

If she doesn't run away soon, her fate will be absolutely tragic.

Thinking of this, Hunter J immediately gave the order: "Molotov, Flame Charge!"

The molten bird flapped its wings, instantly creating a wave of heat, and flames erupted from its body, enveloping it completely.

They charged forward with overwhelming force.

He attempted to harm Haoyan, who was riding on Charizard.

"Garuda, use Dragon Claw!"

Having adjusted, Cynthia, with a frosty expression, commanded her Garchomp.

Garchomp immediately unleashed a massive dragon claw in response to Moltres's attack.

boom!

The two energies collided in the air, generating a powerful airflow.

Clearly, Garchomp gained the upper hand in the clash.

Dragons are not afraid of fire.

... ...

However, just as Moltres made its move, Hunter J had already informed her Salamence, which then underwent Mega Evolution.

They abandoned the 'Momordio' and fled in another direction.

The 'Firebird' was a rare find that she spent a whopping 40 billion to acquire.

She was heartbroken to be left like this.

But compared to my own life.

Money isn't that important.

J's idea was simple: sacrifice the pawn to save the king.

With Moltres blocking their way, they should be able to stop Ichi and II from pursuing them.

As long as she can escape, everything will be fine.

... ...

Chapter 290 The victor of the fire battle is the Charizard.

"Zhu Lan, go after Hunter J."

"Give me this 'Firebird'," Haoyan instructed Zhulan.

Hao Yan believes that the only Pokémon that can fight in the air is Charizard.

It was inappropriate for him to go after Hunter J.

Conversely, Cynthia, with Pokémon, Garchomp, and Brave Falcon, is best suited to hunt Hunter J.

"I understand, be careful!"
