Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

J's heart skipped a beat!

"what!"

"How could the Alliance possibly know about our secret base!" J's face was filled with disbelief.

"real!"

"The team leader is champion Zhu Lan!"

"And Haoyan, he's here too!"

"A huge group of people is heading towards our secret base!" The subordinate asked in a panic, "Boss, what... what do we do!"

Hunter J quickly looked out the office window.

Just as my subordinates reported, there was indeed a large group of flying Pokémon in the sky.

Especially Haoyan's, the gray-black Charizard, was very eye-catching.

J originally planned to find an opportunity to get rid of Haoyan.

Unexpectedly, Haoyan arrived before her!

There are also many investigators!

Even the Sinnoh champion has come!

And it's right here!

J's face immediately turned ugly!

“Boss…” J’s sailors looked at him anxiously.

The alliance has dealt a heavy blow to poaching gangs; once caught, even these lowly soldiers won't fare well.

If it's a typical poaching gang, they might get a ten- or eight-year sentence and still be released.

But they are a gold poaching gang, and what they did in the past is enough to warrant being imprisoned for life!

Just as J was about to say something, he suddenly felt the earth shake violently!

Without even looking, J knew it must have been Hao Yan's Bangiras who made the move.

He quickly put on his gloves and put away the precious, bright red egg.

He ignored his subordinates and went straight out the door.

Get ready to escape!

Chapter 288 The Fiery Red Bird Pokémon

"Spirit, Mega Evolve, then keep using Earthquake."

Haoyan rode on Charizard's back and used Aura to command Tyranitar.

As soon as they approached the island, Hao Yan released Tyranitar.

"Class~ Class~"

Many sharp rock spikes grew on Bangiras's body.

Its height has also increased from 12 meters to 20 meters!

Like an ancient behemoth.

He slammed his feet down on the ground, instantly creating countless cracks that spread outwards.

The island had already been hollowed out by gold poaching gangs.

The thin mountainside, like fragile paper, was constantly being torn apart.

The mountain collapsed, and the poachers hiding on the island fled in terror.

Some people who reacted slowly were directly injured or knocked unconscious by falling rocks.

Some unlucky ones are killed by cracks or falling rocks.

One attack wasn't enough, so Bangiras used Earthquake again.

Cynthia, sitting atop Garchomp, couldn't help but sigh, "If Tyranitar continues like this, it's very likely it will sink the entire island!"

"Haoyan's Tyranitar is simply a deadly weapon!"

After repeated bombardments by Bangiras, the poachers on the island were either killed or wounded.

"Little Smash, stop." Hao Yan made Tyranitar exit its Mega Evolution state.

"Class~ Class~"

Bangiras agreed and then stood guard around the area.

"Officer Jenny, lead your team to capture those poachers."

"Kill anyone who resists!"

"Hunter J spotted! Notify us immediately!" Zhu Lan calmly commanded.

"Understood!" Officer Jenny responded, quickly leading the investigators down from the flying Pokémon.

Go and search the entire island and capture those poachers.

Hundreds of elite investigators released their Pokémon.

We began our journey to the island.

The investigators who came this time are all quite capable.

Their Pokémon were all between level 38 and 40.

It could be said that they barely reached the level of a novice gym leader.

In the League, becoming an elite investigator comes with excellent benefits.

He even became the highest-ranking search commander, with treatment not much worse than that of a champion.

The arrest went relatively smoothly.

The poachers, who were still mobile and hadn't suffered much damage, all commanded their Water-type Pokémon to flee.

Haoyan and Zhulan rode on their respective Pokémon, ignoring the fleeing minions.

These soldiers are unimportant; what matters is their leader, Hunter J.

This small island is a full 300 nautical miles from the nearest city, Watervein.

There were no ships and no supplies.

For these poachers to want to cross 300 nautical miles is nothing short of a pipe dream.

Bang~ Bang~

Suddenly, the sounds of fighting filled the island.

"Little Dragon, use Dragon Dance." Hao Yan patted the Charizard beneath him.

Prepare for battle in advance.

"Togekiss, Braviary, come out!" Cynthia also released her other two flying Pokémon, which circled around her.

Cynthia truly lives up to her title as the Sinnoh champion; all three of her Pokémon exude a powerful aura.

His level has also reached 85.

... ...

Bang!

A huge explosion was heard from the island.

A blue and red Pokémon flew out of the island.

"Hunter J!"

Zhu Lan and Hao Yan, who had been keeping a close eye on the battle, spotted Hunter J.

"Garuda, charge!"

"Bortex, Brave Falcon, surround Hunter J! Don't let her escape!" Cynthia calmly commanded her Pokémon and gave chase.

Hao Yan did not act immediately, because the moment he saw Hunter J appear, a gentle, mechanical female voice rang in his mind.

[Mission Objective]: Assist Zhu Lan in capturing Hunter J.

[Task Reward]: 5000 reward points.

[Punishment for mission failure]: None.

... ...

"The system actually issued a task at this time!"

Haoyan was very puzzled.

"Logically speaking, no matter how strong Hunter J is, he is only at the peak of the Elite Four."

"Does she have the ability to fight against Zhu Lan?"

In Haoyan's opinion, the most troublesome part of capturing Hunter J is actually finding Hunter J's whereabouts.

Once we find it, things will be much easier.

After all, this arrest mission was organized by Zhu Lan.

Cynthia is the champion of the Sinnoh region!

It's important to know that between the peak of a superstar and the champion, there's a runner-up.

Even if Hunter J's Salamence can Mega Evolve, so what?

Even the Mega Evolved Salamence is no match for Cyndaquil's Toxtin.

Super evolution doesn't mean invincibility.

After all, the difference in rank and grade is undeniable.
