Pokémon: Starting with Lucario and Gardevoir

Mikoli said, "Haoyan, your performance impressed me."

"It's arguably the most spectacular and dazzling tournament I've ever seen!"

"Thank you." Haoyan casually accepted the ribbon badge.

"Go for it!" Mikoli smiled at Haoyan and then left the stage.

He then accepted applause from the audience.

... ...

Meanwhile, to the west of Akihabara Town, in the tunnel connecting to Kanaz City.

A group of people dressed in matching red uniforms were searching for something deep inside the tunnel.

This group of people are members of Team Magma, another evil organization in the Hoenn region!

The leader was a girl with pinkish-purple hair, a well-proportioned figure, and pretty looks, who was about 18 years old.

Despite her pretty appearance, this young girl is very capable.

Fire Goose is one of the three executives of the Fire Rock Team.

"Each group, report on your search progress!" Fire Goose asked each team via communicator.

"Group A, no findings!"

"Group B, no findings!"

"Group C, no findings!"

... ...

Huo Yan frowned and asked a soldier beside her, "How much longer until the Grand Contest ends!"

The Fire Rock team soldier quickly replied, "The Grand Contest has been going on for 4 hours since it started."

"According to the Grand Contest schedule, it will end in 10 to 20 minutes."

"At that time, the flow of people from Akihabara Town will surge out, and tourists may be able to return to Kanaz City through this tunnel."

"Lord Fire Goose, it's time for us to retreat!"

Huoyan's brow remained furrowed even after receiving a reply.

He sighed and said into the communicator, "All squad members, evacuate according to plan!"

"Everyone, break up into smaller groups and return to headquarters!"

"Everyone must leave Autumnleaf Town before the Grand Contest ends!"

"Note: Remain vigilant while advancing!"

"Group A received!"

"Team B received!"

"Group C received!"

... ...

The responses from the squad leaders came through the communicator.

"Unfortunately, the item isn't here!" Huo Yan put on a cloak, covering her signature purple-pink hair.

Together with the other members of Team Magma, they began to evacuate the tunnel.

... ...

When the Fire Goose passed by Autumn Leaf Town and arrived at the entrance of the Grand Contest venue.

The large LED screen at the entrance is displaying footage of the venue.

In the scene, Hao Yan, with a slight smile, accepts the ribbon medal from Mikoli's hand.

Upon seeing Haoyan's handsome face, Huoyan stopped in her tracks.

"Is this the Hirohime who sabotaged the Navy Fleet's operation at Yandushan last time?"

"We can try to make contact later!" Huo Yan muttered to herself.

Team Aqua's misbehavior in the Hoenn region recently has indeed drawn the attention of the League!

However, it is undeniable that their frequent actions have greatly accelerated the progress of their 'grand ideals'.

As a result, Team Magma, Team Aqua's long-time rival, felt immense pressure from this.

The slow progress of the Magma Team is mainly due to the fact that one of the three executives, the Hokage, has been sent to the Kanto region to gather information.

This is what caused them to be a step behind the Aqua Fleet.

Team Magma is desperately short of talent!

That's why Huoyan wanted to take the initiative to contact Haoyan.

Huoyan took a deep look at Haoyan on the big screen, wrapped her cloak tighter, and quickened her pace to leave.

... ...

Chapter 98 Go Make Money

In Qiuye Town, at Haoyan's home, is the courtyard used for cultivation.

"Little Lucario, come on," Haoyan said to Lucario.

"Luca!"

He kept hitting various parts of his body with his arms.

As he pounded on Lucario's body, his eyes began to turn bright red.

"Six seconds, not bad." Hao Yan timed it with a stopwatch and entered the time into his laptop.

The laptop was filled with Lucario's physical data.

"Xiao Ou, for the next period of time, you only have one thing to do!"

"Familiarity with sword dance and high-speed movement!"

"Master these two skills as quickly as possible, and shorten the skill release interval to 4 seconds or even less."

"Then your combat power will double!" Hao Yan patted Lucario on the shoulder and encouraged him.

"Luca! Luca!"

Lucario nodded excitedly upon hearing this.

"Alright, go practice." She closed her laptop and waved to him.

Swords Dance is a skill that Lucario learns at level 40.

While planning his trip to the Johto region, Haoyan seized the opportunity to improve the strength of his Pokémon.

So after the Grand Contest, Hao Yan took his Pokémon for special training.

Lucario lived up to expectations and was the first to pass the special training, leveling up to level 40.

I have mastered the skill of sword dance.

Sword Dance, like High Speed Movement, is a buff skill.

It can increase attack power by two levels!

To enhance Lucario's sustainability in battle, Haoyan also used the prize money he won from the Grand Contest to buy a TM for Absorb Punch.

Specifically designed for Lucario.

Now, Haoyan's savings are almost gone again.

Originally, I planned to head to the Johto region to recruit the tanks in my party.

It had to be put on hold temporarily because of money.

... ...

Haoyan sat in the yard, watching the three Pokémon train.

I turned on my computer to check the bounty missions, planning to earn some money before heading to the Johto region.

Before he even logged into the Alliance Center website, he saw a piece of news that piqued his interest.

"Alliance News Flash: According to a 15-day public opinion poll conducted by the Kaina City Hall on the establishment of a dojo in Kaina City."

"Nearly 98.23% of the citizens of Kaina agree with and support the establishment of a dojo in Kaina."

"The report has been submitted to the alliance headquarters, and the results of the discussions at the alliance's executive meeting have been released."

"After a unified meeting and discussion, the League has approved the application from the Slateport City Hall to establish a gym in Slateport City."

"The Kaina City Hall plans to hold a Kaina Gym Leader Selection Tournament in six months."

"Through the selection competition, we will choose the most capable dojo masters."

"Requirements for participating in the selection competition: Applicants must have a clean record and have obtained five or more badges from the Hoenn region."

... ...

"Gym Leader Selection Tournament!"

"Six months is enough!"

Hao Yan's eyes showed a hint of joy. He had originally thought that the process of establishing a dojo in Kaina City would not be so fast.

However, the fact that Team Aqua stole Sea Abyss One in front of a group of media directly accelerated the process of establishing a gym in Slateport City.

To some extent, the Water Fleet did help Haoyan.

In order to avoid having to struggle for money in the future, Haoyan is determined to secure the position of dojo master!

... ...

The long-term plan has been completed, so the next thing to do is to earn enough money to live on.

Then I logged into the Alliance Center to check the relevant missions.

"This task is good!" Hao Yan saw a task that was quite difficult, but the reward was good.
