Professor McGonagall even shrank into her Agmanis form, perhaps because she thought it would be easier for cats to communicate with each other.
Chapter 335 The Beginning of a Confused Timeline
Anne glanced at the cat that Professor McGonagall had transformed into, then turned her head away. She didn't consider ordinary cats to be of the same species as herself, let alone the fact that the cat that Professor McGonagall had transformed into wasn't some mythical magical creature.
After Professor McGonagall's attempt failed, Merlin had no choice but to step in and negotiate. Fortunately, the two of them had worked together on Ouroboros for so long and had always gotten along very well, so after some persuasion, Ann finally agreed.
George put on his helmet again and, with the power of magic, traveled to the future. Anne flicked her tail and vanished from the office in a flash, heading to the future through the passage that George and Fred had created.
After a moment of dizziness, George reappeared in the Weasley's Trick Room. Ron was just about to greet him when he saw a black cat dart out after George, spin in the air, and land on the counter.
Ann stuck out her tongue and licked her paw. The pressure of heading into the future made her feel a little uncomfortable, but it was still within acceptable limits.
“This is Mr. Cat…” little George began to introduce.
"Meow!" Anne meowed, glaring at little George. He even asked for help, and he couldn't even pronounce the gender correctly?!
“Um…Ms. Cat, Anne, is an assistant from the Human Alliance.” Little George immediately corrected himself.
Just now, under Ann's watchful gaze, little George felt as if the sky had suddenly darkened, and dark clouds seemed to have covered him directly. In the shadowy distance, it seemed as if countless terrifying creatures were about to leap out at any moment. This scene frightened little George into becoming obedient.
"Hello, Ms. An."
Everyone bowed in greeting. Ann raised her head slightly, waved her paw to acknowledge their greetings, and then swung her paw forward, sending an invisible shadow force patting Little George, signaling him to get down to business. After dealing with things here, Ann still had to go back to feed her pets.
“Here’s the thing, the wizard Merlin who brought me here believes that Voldemort couldn’t possibly kill Dumbledore on their side, so he sent me here to gather more information,” George said.
“Let’s go to Hogwarts. Dumbledore’s portrait is in his office; we can ask him again,” Harry said. “Also, Headmistress McGonagall compiled a history of the Second Magical War based on everyone’s accounts and put it in the library. That book might have a more comprehensive account than I know.”
“Principal McGonagall!” Little George paused, a sense of fear rising within him—the feeling of a mischievous student meeting the headmaster.
But then George thought again, wait a minute, he's not a student at Hogwarts anymore, and he's not under the headmaster's jurisdiction.
That's what he thought, but the thought that McGonagall had become Headmistress McGonagall made little George feel a little uneasy.
Half an hour later, several fully grown wizards led George and the others directly to the gates of Hogwarts.
The magic school underwent a complete renovation, inside and out, after the great war. Many parts are now brand new and shining. However, from the traces left behind, little George can still glimpse a corner of that tragic war.
“Neville, thank you for coming to pick us up,” Hermione said, waving to Neville Longbottom at the door.
After the war, Neville Longbottom stayed at Hogwarts and became a professor of herbalism.
"I've been waiting for you guys for a long time. Why did it take you so long to get here?" Neville walked over with a smile. Everyone had agreed to get together at Hogwarts, and he had been preparing for this gathering.
Halfway there, Neville saw little George behind Harry and Fred and George chatting. He rubbed his eyes, wondering if he had accidentally gotten some juice in his eyes while tending the herbs and was hallucinating.
“It’s complicated, don’t overthink it, we can’t process it all,” Ron said, patting Neville’s arm. He still hadn’t fully grasped the logic, but Harry and Hermione seemed to have figured it out.
Neville nodded as if he understood, though he wasn't. He had plenty of courage and ability, but he was a little lacking when it came to using his brain.
“Neville, is Headmistress McGonagall here? Where is everyone else?” Harry asked immediately.
“Headmistress McGonagall should be in her office; the others will be here a little later.” Neville said, his eyes still on Fred, until Fred smiled at him, at which point he looked away.
“Alright, we happen to have something to do at the headmaster’s office. Could you please lead the way?” Harry looked at the surrounding scenery, a little wistful.
After joining the Ministry of Magic and becoming an Auror, Harry didn't return to Hogwarts for quite some time.
“The school has changed a lot, hasn’t it?” Neville said from behind Harry. He wasn’t too concerned about Fred behind him anymore. Although he didn’t know what was going on, it was a party, and the more people there were, the better.
“Yes, I remember that’s where I found Ivy,” Hermione added with a touch of nostalgia.
“Ivy?” Neville was puzzled; he had never heard of this person before.
"Ivy?!" George exclaimed in surprise. That was something from his timeline. Had Hermione gotten confused?
"Why are you reacting like this? Is something wrong?" Hermione didn't seem to realize that there was anything wrong with her words. "Harry, Ron, you haven't all forgotten, have you? It was thanks to the Marauder's Map and the Invisibility Cloak that you gave me that we were able to find her."
Hermione's words triggered a memory inexplicably in Harry and Ron's minds as well, but because the memory appeared so abruptly, they could still sense that something was wrong.
Meow!
Ann shouted and leaped out of George's shadow. Fear and shadow power erupted from the bodies of the people in front of her, pushing away the surrounding energy.
“I smell a familiar scent. That old man named Dumbledore must be hiding in this school.” Ann’s voice echoed in everyone’s minds. Merlin had given Ann a wisp of Dumbledore’s scent when she arrived.
After Ann made her move, Merlin also sensed something was wrong and strengthened the separation and shielding of the timeline, stabilizing the future of this timeline.
Hermione took a few breaths and then came to her senses. She seemed to have just seen herself walking on another timeline, and she also saw Ivy, who, to be honest, was a cute little girl, just as cute as she was when she was young.
"Let's go! Speed up!" Harry became serious and took the lead, quickening his pace. "Neville, what's the password from the Headmaster's office today?"
“A pile of cockroaches,” Neville replied.
Headmistress McGonagall also missed Dumbledore, so after becoming headmistress, she kept the passwords the same as those during Dumbledore's time, without making any special changes.
Chapter 336 Malfoy's Redemption
When everyone rushed into the headmaster's office, Headmaster McGonagall was completely bewildered. It was certainly a pleasure to see students she hadn't seen in so long, but what was going on? Why the panic? Had Voldemort returned? Was that guy really impossible to kill?! Like a bug!
After entering, Harry very conscientiously began to explain to Headmistress McGonagall what had happened, while George, under Ann's guidance, began to look for Dumbledore's portrait in the paintings.
Dumbledore's painting is the largest of all the headmasters, so it's quite easy to find, especially since he doesn't seem to be avoiding it, and the other paintings also start to make way for Dumbledore after hearing Harry's explanation.
"I'd be happy to answer your questions, but I don't know exactly what happened either," Dumbledore said regretfully. After all, he was just a painting, not the real Dumbledore, and there were many things that only Dumbledore knew that he might not know.
“No, you know.” Ann said, raising her little paw and pressing it on the painting.
The power of fear enveloped the entire painting, pushing aside some of the lifelike paint. The moment the paint touched the frame, a rebounding force suddenly emanated from the frame, expelling An's power from the portrait.
The next second, Dumbledore completely changed his appearance. He looked no different from the original Dumbledore, but this time he wore the badge of the League of People and the badge of the headmaster of Hogwarts in the Kingdom of John. On the latter badge, you could also see the pattern of Artoria's Excalibur, and the background color was still the flag color of the Knights of the Round Table.
“I knew you would find me.” Dumbledore smiled, as if everything was going according to his plan.
An couldn't stand this pretentious guy. He had already anticipated this, yet he still made her come looking for trouble? Wasn't he just asking for trouble?
Anne slapped the portrait twice with her claws, and Hermione, who was standing next to her, was terrified that Anne would tear the portrait with one claw.
"Stop, stop, stop! Please don't use so much force!" Dumbledore panicked. It seemed he hadn't expected that it wasn't Merlin and the others who had come, but a capricious little cat.
Ann stopped clawing, her whiskers twitched a few times, and she tilted her proud little head to look at Dumbledore, as if to say, "If you keep talking nonsense, I'll tear you apart."
“Ms. Anne, to ensure there are no unforeseen circumstances, what you see now is merely a message covering Dumbledore’s soul in this world. Moreover, I seemed to have left in a great hurry, so you may need to trouble you to take me to the place where I died,” Dumbledore said quickly.
After saying that, Dumbledore felt relieved. The message had been delivered, and it wouldn't matter if Ann tore it up. He should have observed more carefully when he first came out. If he had seen that the person coming was Ann, he wouldn't have pretended at the beginning.
After the portrait gradually fell silent, Anne turned to look at Hermione and the others, and nodded.
What are you waiting for? Take it with you!
“Harry, where did Headmaster Dumbledore die?” Hermione asked, turning her head.
Harry shook his head. "I don't know the exact location, but it's definitely in Hogwarts."
Ann slapped the table in dissatisfaction. Wasn't that obvious? She knew it when she sensed Dumbledore's energy in this school. But the school wasn't small. Did she have to carry Dumbledore's portrait all over Hogwarts?
“Don’t worry, I know someone who knows the exact location,” Harry said immediately, then with a wave of his hand, he summoned his Patronus Charm. Under the extraordinary control of the spell, the stag began delivering the message from the window at an extraordinary speed.
Soon, Malfoy Apparated to the entrance of Hogwarts and ran straight to the Headmaster's office without stopping.
George and Fred were a little incredulous when they saw Malfoy arrive so quickly. In their minds, Malfoy and Harry were always at odds, so why did he seem so obedient now? Coming whenever they were told to?
"Harry, what happened?!" Malfoy didn't even have time to observe his surroundings before entering the headmaster's office and immediately asked Harry.
George was even more incredulous. Malfoy was calling Harry Potter Harry! It was already outrageous enough that he wasn't called Scarface, but now he was calling him by his first name. Could it be that many years later, these two guys had actually become friends?
“We need you to take us to the place where Headmaster Dumbledore died,” Harry said succinctly.
Malfoy opened his mouth, wanting to refuse. He had been avoiding recalling that past for so long, and he hadn't even spoken to Principal McGonagall when she asked him.
However, after glancing at the serious expressions of those around him and at the portrait of Dumbledore held by George, Malfoy seemed to realize something.
"Come with me, it's on the rooftop."
Malfoy led everyone to the Astronomy Tower at Hogwarts, then pointed to the edge of the tower, "It was here that Headmaster Snape knocked down Headmaster Dumbledore and caused him to fall."
Malfoy sighed as he spoke. The moment Dumbledore fell, Malfoy felt that something was wrong with the world. But after learning that it was all Snape and Dumbledore's plan, Malfoy felt much better, and the world in his eyes returned to normal.
An raised its paw, and Dumbledore's portrait floated above its palm.
She walked with cat-like steps to the edge of the astronomical tower. The portrait remained unchanged. Then, without hesitation, Ann jumped down.
A howling wind blew past her ears, and her whiskers seemed to pluck at some kind of string. Then Anne realized something was wrong; the Astronomical Tower wasn't very tall, and it shouldn't have been falling for so long.
At this moment, Ann discovered that Dumbledore's portrait had escaped her control and was floating silently in the air, while she repeatedly fell and rose from it over this distance.
Meow!
Ann shouted angrily, "This Dumbledore, he really did have some tricks up his sleeve."
Despite her anger, An did not resort to brute force. She knew what was important and if this method failed to solve the problem, she would simply use teleportation later.
On the top of the Astronomy Tower, Harry's forehead scar began to throb, while Malfoy's right wrist began to burn.
The two of them exchanged a glance, as if they understood something.
The two Dumbledores together created a complex verification process. The arrival of the Human Alliance members could only trigger the first stage, while Harry and Malfoy together triggered the second stage. Only when both stages were met could the passage be truly opened.
Guided by a premonition in their minds, Malfoy and Harry jumped down together without hesitation.

The first rays of morning sunlight shone on the curtains. Qi Yun was busy in his room. He had been working through the night for several days, and the lights in his room had never been turned off.
Qi Yun yawned and wiped his face with his hand to wake himself up.
Before him stood a massive instrument over two meters tall, with a crystal-clear gem embedded in its center, surrounded by intricate and beautiful patterns.
However, no matter how beautiful the pattern is, it cannot compare to the gemstone itself. If the energy contained in the gemstone were known to the outside world, it would be enough to cause an uproar on the entire planet.
In addition, Qi Yun spent several nights assembling this instrument by hand according to the blueprints, and it took him nearly a year to collect the materials alone.
Now it's finally time to see the results.
When the switch was turned on, the instrument began to operate normally, and the gemstone, under the influence of an invisible force, erupted with a strong fluctuation.
The wave spread outwards from Qi Yun, and soon it covered the entire Earth.
