Leona remained silent, exchanged a glance with Merlin, and then slowly said, "Let's end the experiment here and try another method."

"No!" George suddenly stood up upon hearing this, as if he had matured considerably in an instant. "I believe that kind of future can never happen again, so let's continue!"

George held onto Fred's hand tightly, unwilling to let go.

“That’s right, and it’s never appropriate to be alone on his birthday. I also think I should go and keep him company, and maybe give him a good scolding. He can’t even play a prank, what else can he do?” Fred took a deep breath and said seriously.

Merlin's phantom nodded. This future was a timeline he found and read after eliminating all influences related to the Human Alliance. However, the Human Alliance had already actually appeared in this world, and this envisioned future had been completely changed.

written request for leave

The first day after National Day holiday, I'm so tired from work. All I want to do when I get home is sleep. Waaah! Seven days is not enough to show my love for my country. I strongly request seven more days! Waaah!

Chapter 333 Timeless Pranks

In a future on the verge of collapse, George continues to receive guests as usual. Hogwarts is currently in session, and exams are in two months, so business at the Weasley Theatre is not very good.

Most of the guests coming now are young wizards who haven't reached school age yet, and their parents are happy to see them at Weasley's Trick Room. Wizards like George, who made significant contributions during the war, still have a good reputation.

In other words, George only wanted to open a magic shop and had no intention of joining the Ministry of Magic. Otherwise, even if he couldn't reach the position of Minister of Magic like Hermione, his position wouldn't be much lower.

Ding-a-ling~ The doorbell rang again.

"Feel free to buy anything you want, and you can write down any opinions you have in your notebook." George looked down at the children in front of him, calculating the prices of the items they wanted to buy, and casually greeted them.

A few minutes later, the last young wizard to enter walked around the shop, then bought nothing. He walked to a spot not far from the counter with his head down, his hood obscuring his face and giving him a mysterious air.

"Boss, don't you have any new products?" the wizard asked in a low voice.

Despite the altered voice, George could still tell it was a minor, and it sounded somewhat familiar.

"Sorry, I've been quite busy lately and haven't had any new products..." George said, looking up at the person. He remembered whose familiar voice it was.

"Boss, let me give you a suggestion. If you can't even come up with ideas for new products, why don't you just close the store?" the wizard continued.

These words immediately angered the other young wizards at the counter. They turned around and looked at the cowardly guy, ready to start cursing.

"Fred...is that you? Fred?" George said, his voice trembling, almost in disbelief. His only fear now was that this was all a dream woven by the compound decoction.

“Long time no see, George.” Fred casually pulled down his hood and said with a smile. Outsiders might not recognize the two brothers, but it wouldn’t be difficult for them to recognize each other, even though one had grown old and the other was still young.

We've always been the same age, but you're several years older than me now, yet we still met.

George leaped out from behind the counter, using both his hands and feet. In that moment, he had forgotten that he still had a wand and that he was a wizard.

After rushing to Fred, George reached out and tentatively hugged him, his hands passing right through Fred's body, only feeling a faint chill.

In an instant, George's tears fell. "Fred, you've become a ghost. Did I make you unwilling to continue?"

"It's all my fault, it's all my fault..."

George knelt on the ground and burst into tears for the first time in a long time.

Fred put his arms around George, seemingly to comfort him.

Just then, another George walked in from the doorway, waved to the young wizards to signal them to leave, and generously gave them all the items they had chosen for free.

After everyone had left, little George reached out and turned the sign on the door so that "close" faced outwards.

Upon re-entering the room, little George walked past the sobbing George with a slight smile, and went to the back of the magic shop, where many products he had never seen before were displayed. Some of these were just ideas to little George, but now they had been realized.

After standing there comforting him for a few minutes, Fred saw that George still hadn't stopped, so he reached out and wiped away the tears on his face. "George, what's wrong? Get up, I'm here to set off fireworks with you. What are you crying about?"

George was stunned. He hadn't told anyone about setting off fireworks, so why would Fred's ghost know?

"Fred, do you think I'll be this rich in the future?! I can just throw fireworks into the water without a second thought!" Little George exclaimed, looking at the dozen or so large boxes of fireworks stacked in the corner.

George slowly turned his head, looking at little George excitedly flipping through the instruction manual, and felt like he might be dreaming. If Fred was a ghost, then who was this? His own ghost? Sure enough, it was still a dream, the best dream ever.

“No, George, you’re always like this. You think you’re dreaming whenever you’re caught up in something.” Fred said, putting his hands behind his back and trying to look like a little adult.

George turned his head and rolled his eyes. "You too, after discovering the Marauder's Map, you dreamed about it for two more days than I did."

“Let’s get to know each other again, even though we’ve known each other since birth, Fred Weasley, Hogwarts student,” Fred said, extending his hand.

George awkwardly reached out and gave a loose handshake, then opened his mouth as if he had many questions to ask.

“It’s not fake, not a dream, not a ghost, and certainly not a compound decoction.” Little George answered all of George’s questions without even turning his head. “We do come from the past, but we should be a few years younger.”

“If you want to hear it, I can explain it to you slowly, but first, get up from the ground, okay? This makes me feel like I not only didn’t grow taller in the last few years, but I also had a limb amputated,” Fred said, scratching his head.

Fred didn't want to pull George up, but his current strength and sturdiness were tied to magic, which originated from the past several years ago. So, let alone pulling him up, he would struggle even to push the door open.

George was like a puppet, doing whatever Fred told him to do, as long as this scene, which he didn't know was a dream, could continue, he was willing to do whatever he wanted.

A dozen minutes later, just as Fred was getting started on chapter 5 of Ivy's Adventures, the theater door was suddenly pushed open, and Harry, Hermione, and Ron rushed in.

The young wizards who had been asked to leave by George told their parents what had happened, and someone immediately notified Hermione. Hermione then grabbed Ron and Harry, whom she had just met, and rushed over.

After all, it sounds like George's weakness was being exploited.

“Hey, Harry, Hermione, um...long time no see, and Ron, you…” Fred waved.

“Wow, Ron, you’re so tall!” Little George jumped out and interrupted Fred.

"I saw it first."

"I said it first."

Ron stared at the two familiar yet unfamiliar figures, momentarily bewildered. He could hardly believe his eyes. "You are..."

“I’m Fred.” George smiled.

“I am George,” Fred followed up.

A perfect match, just like always, a timeless little prank.

Chapter 234 I am a cat, a happy black cat

Xiu~

slap~

Small fireworks exploded in the Weasley Studios. George and Fred sat together, celebrating their birthdays and setting off fireworks, while little George, rather wearily, explained the situation to the newly arrived trio.

“That’s all I know,” George said, spreading his hands, glancing at George and Fred to the side.

Little George really wants to sing a song right now: "I shouldn't be in the car, I should be under the car!"

It's everyone's birthday today, so why are you all having fun while I'm doing serious business...?

"So, the Godfather accidentally went to Hogwarts in another world and was restored to his honor very early on, while that wretched Umbridge, let alone the headmaster, didn't even get into the school?" Harry took off his glasses, wiped the lenses, and said with some excitement. It was so good to hear that Sirius was still alive and well.

“That’s right, you didn’t see it. The way that woman was slunk away was hilarious,” George nodded and said.

“From what you’ve said, the League of Men in the other world seems quite powerful. It seems Voldemort won’t be able to cause any trouble,” Hermione said softly. “That’s wonderful.”

The damage Voldemort inflicted on the wizarding world is immeasurable. Countless wizards perished in that battle, and countless families were destroyed by Voldemort's ridiculous ideas.

“But I have a question. If that’s the case, what are you doing in the future? Just coming to see us?” Ron reacted very quickly. “I’m not saying it’s bad to see us, but it just doesn’t seem logical.”

George blinked, still a little unaccustomed to Ron's appearance. "Actually, we're here to gather some information. Headmaster Dumbledore has disappeared, and the League of People discovered he went to the future."

"The future?! Here we are? Which Dumbledore?" Harry found it hard to believe.

“I’m not entirely sure either. The professors just told us to ask where Dumbledore’s future was in the original timeline,” George asked after recalling the professors’ instructions.

The trio paused for a moment. "Headmaster Dumbledore has passed away. A long time ago, he was willing to die in order to carry out the plan to fight Voldemort. His portrait has guided us, but it has never spoken of another world, nor has another Dumbledore ever appeared."

This time it was George's turn to be stunned; he simply couldn't believe that the powerful, wise old man had already passed away.

After standing there for a while, George finally realized, "Excuse me, I have to take this message back first. As for Fred, let him talk to me for a bit longer."

As soon as he finished speaking, George took off his helmet and disappeared from the trio's sight like a wisp of smoke blown away by the wind.

In the teachers' office, little George stood up, about to say something, but when he saw all the teachers frowning and thinking about something, he immediately realized that the teachers must already know.

Merlin's phantom floated in the air, flickering intermittently. Keyword-triggered spells were applied to George and Fred, and their subsequent conversation with the future trio was read.

“Merlin, that Voldemort sounds very powerful. Could Headmaster Dumbledore have really met with some misfortune? Why don’t we go find him now and kill him?” Leona suggested.

Merlin shook his head. "I've seen that noseless guy. In this low-magic world, to be able to partially reach the intermediate professional level without relying on explicit rules is indeed impressive, but he still can't possibly be a match for Dumbledore. The gap between them is too large. There must be other issues involved."

“I’ll ask again when I get back,” George said, raising his hand.

“We will definitely ask, but it can’t be just you going,” Merlin continued. George and Fred are too weak; if Dumbledore really has something planned, they will have a hard time finding out.

“But Mr. Merlin, didn’t you say that your past would affect the entire timeline?” George asked.

"Well, so we need to find someone below the level of a sub-legendary, who can avoid being captured by the timeline and can directly resist the influence of the timeline reversal force. I happen to know someone who can do that." Merlin said, suddenly showing a troubled expression.

"Is that person difficult to get along with or difficult to invite?" Professor McGonagall asked with concern, her thoughts somewhat confused after learning of Dumbledore's future death.

“No, to be precise, it’s not even human, so it’s sometimes hard to be sure if it will agree to something or be willing to help,” Merlin explained. “And the current situation is unclear. We can’t even be sure if Dumbledore has really gone to the future. Maybe the fluctuations in the office were just a cover-up. So it’s not good to bother Kiran to give the order.”

Leona realized what was happening and asked, "You mean Ann?"

Merlin nodded. It was too difficult to fathom the thoughts of a cat, especially one that kept a blue sac fish as a pet.

With so many years of development by the Human Alliance, as the first script evolution, and under Yang Qiu's slightly biased training, An has also risen from a level that is not even considered a formal professional to the level of a high-level professional. Moreover, considering all the blessings and rule enhancements it has, even a typical sub-legendary would have a hard time getting here.

Most importantly, Ann has the ability to survive. It can be said that unless she encounters Mephisto in hell or runs into Thanos head-on, no one else can stop Ann from trying to escape.

Is someone talking about me?

Ann's little head peeked out from behind Leona, her eyes darting around as she looked at the others. For Ann, traversing the world through existing passages was that simple.

Merlin sighed with a hint of envy. The mage Kieran truly loved this cat; he possessed this kind of "unspeakable" divine power, something Merlin, a legend, had yet to achieve.

Especially its ability to receive prompts and obtain partial information when mentioned across the world—it doesn't even possess the typical "unspeakable" quality.

Fortunately, An is willing to come, which at least means there's something to talk about.

"Let me introduce you. This is Anne, the cat-in-charge of the Ouroboros Society," Merlin said to the other professors.

meow~

~o(=∩w∩=)m

Ann waved its paw, placed its foot on Leona's shoulder, and raised its head. It seemed to know that outside it represented not only itself, but also the mage Kiran.

Snape greeted Ann with a strange feeling, though the experience was odd, it paled in comparison to Dumbledore's life.
