I, Wentworth, helplessly shrugged and said:

"The same as always! What else can I do? I came to Hogwarts to learn magic, I can't go back to inherit the family business halfway through my studies!"

Meanwhile, Green stood to the side, looking at Wentworth with admiration, and said:

"Young Master could have relied on his family background, but he chose to rely on his talent, and he's so hardworking! I'm increasingly convinced that my decision just now was absolutely right!"

Cedric rolled his eyes.

Wentworth, looking embarrassed, said:

"Senior Green, you don't need to do that! Especially don't call me 'Young Master' or anything like that!"

Green nodded, looking knowing, and replied:

“That’s right. Although you are young, you already possess talent and strength far beyond your years. Calling you Young Master is indeed inappropriate! How about I call you Lord Grindelwald?”

Wentworth buried his head in his hands, somewhat speechless, and after a long while, he finally spoke:

"From now on, just call me by my first name, Wentworth. Stop with all this nonsense!"

Green immediately agreed:

"Yes, Lord Grindelwald!"

Wentworth: ...

Perhaps unable to bear Green's cheesy displays, Wentworth decided to ignore the goofball and turned to Cedric beside him, saying:

"In short, the most important thing right now is to improve my own strength. You know, who knows who might want me dead right now!"

Cedric nodded in agreement.

Green nodded and said with admiration:

"Lord Grindelwald is truly farsighted..."

Wentworth, Cedric: "Shut up!"

And so, while the outside world was still filled with unease over the resurgence of the Vigilantes in the wizarding world, Wentworth's life returned to normal. Every evening he would practice spells at the Room of Requirement, and on weekends he would go to the Shrieking Shack to learn spells from Lupin, leading a very fulfilling life.

Wentworth had originally intended to write to Abernathy and the others to inquire about their situation, but after several attempts to write, he couldn't find the right words. In the end, Wentworth simply wrote a concerned letter, asking if any Wizarding Bloc wizards had been injured or killed in the battle against the British Ministry of Magic.

Wentworth's life finally entered a period of calm.

However, while Wentworth calmed down, someone else's heart was far from at peace: Cassandra.

After her first attempt to seduce him failed, Cassandra reflected deeply on her mistake and realized that she might have been too deliberate.

So, that evening, after having dinner in the Great Hall of Hogwarts, Cassandra returned to her bedroom, put on some light makeup, and then deliberately went to Hufflepuff's bedroom, intending to stage a chance encounter with Wentworth.

Although Cassandra, a Slytherin, always loitered outside the Hufflepuff's common room, arousing the curiosity of many Hufflepuffs, fortunately, the Hogwarts kitchen was not far from the Hufflepuff's room.

Whenever someone asked Cassandra what she was doing there, she would reply that the food for dinner that night wasn't to her liking and that she was going to go to the kitchen to find something else to eat, and that would be her way of brushing it off.

However, Cassandra waited all night outside the Hufflepuff dormitory, but Wentworth neither came out nor returned.

"Could it be that he went back to his dorm and never came out again? That's impossible, right? Is the leader of the UMNO a homebody?"

Cassandra murmured in disbelief.

However, with curfew approaching, Cassandra had no choice but to return to her dormitory. Before leaving, to avoid suspicion, Cassandra actually went to the Hogwarts kitchen and took some desserts from the house-elves.

Unbeknownst to Cassandra, long after she left, Wentworth, risking discovery by the doorman Filch, secretly finished practicing his spells in the Room of Requirement and returned to his Hufflepuff bedroom.

The next day, Cassandra tried the same trick again, but the result was the same as the first day, leaving Cassandra speechless.

For several days in a row, Cassandra would wander around the Hufflepuff dormitory every night, and before leaving, she would take some food from the Hogwarts kitchen.

And so, Cassandra didn't get to see Wentworth at all, but instead gained three pounds.

This drove Cassandra to the brink of madness.

On the other hand, Christine, who had been lurking in Hogsmeade, kept urging Cassandra. Helpless, Cassandra had no choice but to reply first, saying that it would be too difficult to trick Wentworth out of Hogwarts that night, and that she planned to trick him out over the weekend.

Christine quickly replied to Cassandra, agreeing to her proposal.

"Wentworth, please don't blame me..."

As Cassandra destroyed Christine's reply, she murmured guiltily.

Chapter 131 Unrequited Love

Finally, Hogwarts welcomed another weekend, much to Cassandra's delight.

On Saturday morning, Cassandra made a point of looking around while having breakfast in the Great Hall of Hogwarts and was pleased to find Wentworth and Cedric absent.

"Very well, it seems these two haven't gotten up yet. This time, I don't believe I can't wait until you get up!"

Cassandra said to herself.

But what Cassandra didn't know was that Wentworth and Cedric had already arrived at the Screaming Shack through the secret passage under the Hitting Willow.

"Peng!"

Wentworth's figure crashed heavily against the wall of the Screaming Shack, and it took him a long time to struggle to his feet.

Wentworth clutched his chest, saying with some dissatisfaction:

"Cedric, I finally understand why you wouldn't let me eat breakfast! You were afraid I'd throw up all over you, weren't you? Can't you control your magic a little?!"

But Cedric nonchalantly replied:

"Wentworth, you said you wanted to test the effectiveness of your protective charm. If I don't use my full strength, it's pointless!"

And then, Cedric changed the subject, saying meaningfully:

"Moreover, Wentworth, the enemies you will face in the future will definitely not be less powerful than me! Most importantly, you never know when they will arrive!"

Upon hearing Cedric's words, Lupin, who was leaning against the side watching the two fight, clapped his hands and said encouragingly:

“Cedric is right, Wentworth. Your opponent won’t go easy on you just because you’re young! If you’re tired, we can take a break!”

But Wentworth simply dusted himself off, picked up his wand from the ground, and looked at Cedric, saying:

"Again!"

Meanwhile, after having breakfast, Cassandra went to the Hufflepuff lounge again, and ended up waiting for a whole day!

From initial anticipation to later impatience, and finally to utter despair, Cassandra gradually found only one question in her mind!

"This leader of the Sorcerer Party, the heir of the Grindelwald family, and a descendant of the first Dark Lord, has he really been ruined by Hogwarts?!"

As the sun was about to set, Cassandra could no longer bear the torment and strode straight toward the Hufflepuff common room.

Just then, Green happened to walk back from the library.

"Cassandra? What are you trying to do?"

Seeing Cassandra's aggressive expression, Green couldn't help but ask a question.

Upon seeing Green, Cassandra immediately looked up and said:

"Senior Green, please call Wentworth out here!"

Upon hearing this, Green revealed a playful smile, looked Cassandra up and down, and said:

“Miss Cassandra, has Wentworth done something to wrong you? If so, rest assured, as a Hufflepuff prefect, I will never show favoritism towards any student in our house!”

Cassandra, however, revealed a disdainful smile and said with a cold laugh:

"Him? Does he dare?!"

"Then what are you doing?"

Green asked, his face full of doubt.

Cassandra let out a long sigh of relief, telling herself she had to stay calm. After a moment, finally regaining her composure, Cassandra gave Green a polite smile and said:

"Well, Senior Green, I noticed the weather is quite nice today, so I was wondering if Wentworth would be interested in going for a walk together?"

Green looked up at the setting sun and said with some doubt:

"A walk? Just before dinner?"

Cassandra: "...None of your business!!"

Green chuckled and explained to Cassandra:

“Cassandra, Wentworth went out with Cedric early this morning, and I'm sorry, nobody knows where they went.”

Hearing Green's words, Cassandra knew that she had probably waited in vain all day, and she gritted her teeth as she said:

"Thank you, Senior Green. I'll take my leave now!"

Seeing Cassandra about to leave, Green quickly asked from behind:

“Cassandra, is there something you want to say to Wentworth? Do you need me to pass it on to you?”

Cassandra thought about it for a moment, then shook her head and turned to leave Hufflepuff's common room.

Actually, it wouldn't have been a bad idea to have Green tell Wentworth that she was waiting for him at the Room of Requirement that night, but for some reason, Cassandra didn't say it.

Even though she had waited here in Wentworth for a whole day and was extremely angry, for some reason, Cassandra also breathed a sigh of relief.

Shortly after Cassandra left, Wentworth and Cedric returned to Hufflepuff's common room, where they ran into Green, who was on his way to dinner.

"What a coincidence! Let's go together!"

Green greeted the two of them.

On the way to the Great Hall, Wentworth casually asked:

"Did anything unusual happen today?"

Green thought for a moment, then smiled and said:

Nothing happened!

On the surface, Green appeared calm and collected, but inside he was roaring:

"Wentworth! Don't blame me! I'm on your witchcraft ship now! Women will only slow down your spellcasting! As my boss, you need to get stronger as soon as possible! Don't make me regret this! I'm doing this all for your own good!"

For several weekends in a row, Wentworth and Cedric went to the Screaming Shack as usual to learn spells from Lupin.
