Just as Christine was wondering if something had gone wrong that alerted Wentworth, and was even considering abandoning the original plan and rushing out to capture Wentworth,

Suddenly, accompanied by a loud screech of brakes, a large bus appeared abruptly at the entrance of the Lovol Manor.

Soon, as the bus doors opened, two young men rushed off the bus one after the other in a panic.

"vomit!"

"vomit!"

The newcomers were Cedric and Green. Just as Wentworth stepped forward to greet them, he saw the two of them run to the side of the road and start retching.

"I'll never be a motorcyclist bus again! Ugh!"

"I'm gagging, but I'm also crying," Green said.

And clearly, Cedric wasn't much better off, as he also complained:

“My father said he would bring us here! But you insisted on trying out the Knight Bus! Your attempt almost killed us!”

Wentworth quickly stepped forward and patted their backs. After a while, the two of them recovered from the dizzying sensation.

"How are you two? Are you alright?"

Wentworth asked.

Green, his face pale, waved his hand and said wearily:

"It's alright, I can still manage!"

Cedric slowly shook his head, indicating that he was not in serious condition.

Seeing this, Wentworth took the two men by the arms of one of them, while Cedric and Green each carried a briefcase as they walked toward the Revol family estate.

Shortly after entering the manor, after taking only a few steps, a house-elf suddenly appeared out of thin air before the three of them and said very respectfully:

"Greetings, distinguished guests! I am a house-elf from the Revo family, and it is my great honor to guide you!"

Then, led by the house-elves, the three of them walked together into the manor.

Just as the three appeared at the entrance to the Revol family manor, Christine approached Cassandra and said:

"Miss Cassandra, the guests have arrived. You should come out and greet them!"

Upon hearing Christine's words, Cassandra stood up expressionlessly and followed Christine outside. Just as Christine turned her back to her, a flicker of doubt, surprise, emotion, and despair flashed in Cassandra's eyes.

Soon, led by the house-elves, Wentworth and his two companions appeared at the entrance of the banquet hall.

Christine, along with Cassandra, was waiting there.

Upon meeting, Christine stepped forward, beaming with a smile, and said:

"Welcome to Revol Manor, I am..."

Before Christine could finish speaking, Green stepped forward as well, looking apologetic, and said:

"I'm so sorry, beautiful lady, I didn't mean to bother you, but... um... I wanted to ask where the restroom is... um..."

As Green spoke, he gagged, as if he was about to vomit up his stomach contents at any moment.

Green's action startled Christine and Cassandra, who both took two steps back.

Seeing this, Cassandra pointed to her right and quickly said:

"There's a restroom over there, just around the corner behind the stairs."

So Green took three steps at a time, picked up his suitcase, and ran towards the restroom.

At that moment, Cedric covered his mouth, took two steps forward, and was about to speak when Cassandra preemptively pointed to her left and said:

There's another restroom in that direction.

After Cedric nodded his thanks, he also jogged towards the restroom, carrying his suitcase.

Seeing this, Cassandra asked with some curiosity:

"What's going on with those two?"

Wentworth shrugged helplessly and said softly:

"Knight Bus!"

Upon hearing Wentworth's answer, Cassandra suddenly realized what was going on.

Christine stepped forward, stood in front of Wentworth, then turned sideways, pointed inside, and said:

"Please come inside, handsome wizard!"

Wentworth nodded, and then, led by Christine, they walked into the banquet hall together.

Cassandra, walking behind Christine, secretly cast a questioning glance at Wentworth, but Wentworth simply smiled and gave Cassandra a slight twitch of his lips.

Cassandra read a sentence from Wentworth's lip movements:

"I've come to the banquet!"

Soon, led by Christine, a banquet hall that was not luxurious but still quite impressive appeared in front of Wentworth.

Looking at the banquet hall, which was already filled with a dazzling array of food, drinks, and alcohol, Wentworth asked with some curiosity:

"Cassandra, what's wrong? Didn't you invite any other classmates? Is it just the three of us?"

"I……"

Hearing Wentworth's question, Cassandra was momentarily speechless. After a brief silence, she nonchalantly replied:

"I don't have many friends at Hogwarts, but that doesn't matter. There are herds of cattle and sheep, but tigers roam alone, aren't they?"

Wentworth nodded noncommittally.

At that moment, Green and Cedric returned from the restroom, and both seemed to have returned to normal.

However, in today's atmosphere, even the usually meticulous Christine didn't notice that the briefcases that Green and Cedric had been holding were gone.

Chapter 144 I Smell You on My Bed

At this moment, Christine turned around and said to Wentworth and the others:

"Welcome everyone! These delicious foods are prepared for you all. Please enjoy them to the fullest!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Green rushed over and began selecting from the dazzling array of food.

Cedric followed behind Green, calling out:

"You just threw up and you're eating right away, can your body handle it?"

Green, however, dismissed it, saying:

"Now that there's room, let's eat more!"

Wentworth and Cassandra calmly walked inside. Wentworth asked:

Where is your father?

Cassandra paused, then explained casually:

"My father is resting. The doctor advised him to rest in bed as much as possible in the near future so that he can recover faster."

Upon hearing this, Wentworth nodded noncommittally.

Then, Wentworth casually reached for a small cake on the table, but just as Wentworth was about to grab the cake, it jumped up on its own.

Then, to Wentworth's astonishment, the little cake performed a tap dance on the table for him. Finally, the little cake jumped so hard that it landed on Wentworth's hands.

Seeing this, Wentworth exclaimed in astonishment:

“Cassandra, it seems your family has prepared very well for this party. I’ve never seen such a vibrant cake before.”

Cassandra just gave an awkward laugh, and at that moment, Christine stepped forward and explained:

"Of course, these magical little cakes are rarely seen in the UK, because they originated in the US."

Wentworth nodded, then said with a touch of wistfulness:

"Such a room full of delicious food, it seems a bit wasteful for just a few of us to eat it all! We can't possibly finish it all!"

Hearing Wentworth's words, Christine chuckled and then said:

"I never expected you to be such a frugal wizard!"

Wentworth shrugged, seemingly a little embarrassed, and said:

"My family was poor when I was young, so I'm used to being frugal."

Wentworth's words were met with a burst of laughter from Christine, who pointed at Wentworth and said:

"You must be joking! If your family is poor, then are the other families in the wizarding world beggars? The heir of the Grindelwald family!"

Wentworth showed no surprise at Christine recognizing him so readily. Instead, he nonchalantly picked up the small cake, took a small bite, and then frowned as he said:

"It's a bit too sweet. Although the rest of the flavor is okay, it just doesn't suit my taste."

Christine looked at Wentworth in front of her and felt that Wentworth was too calm, which made Christine a little uneasy.

So, Christine's smile faded, and she began to explain:

"Perhaps it's because you've always lived in England, Wentworth, that the food served at this manor today is mostly popular American cuisine, so you might not be used to it!"

Wentworth nodded in sudden understanding, then frowned and said:

"I see. But it would be such a waste to just let all this delicious food go to waste!"

But Christine dismissed it, saying:

"It's alright, you won't be the only ones enjoying this delicious food tonight!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Christine raised her hands and clapped them twice.

Immediately, Wentworth heard a series of footsteps coming from upstairs. A moment later, Wentworth saw a steady stream of wizards swarming down the stairs connecting the second floor.

Seeing this, Wentworth remained expressionless, while Green and Cedric quickly put down their food and stood on either side of Wentworth.

Seeing the wizards who had come down from the second floor and were now scattered around, surrounding Wentworth and the others, Christine seemed to finally breathe a sigh of relief, dispelling the slight unease in her heart. She then said with a smile:

"Actually, today is also our victory celebration banquet, so the food should be plentiful!"
