The Journey of Freedom After the Awakening of the Shadow-Shadow Fruit

"Prepare for battle"

Captain Victor himself is a Devil Fruit user, and as soon as he saw the humanoid black shadow flying in the air, he knew that it must be a special Devil Fruit user.

Moreover, their intentions are not good. The captain has not forgotten why they came to Wano Country.

"Yes, Captain!"

Clang! Clang!

Everyone on the ship drew their swords or raised their guns and came to the deck, ready to fight.

call out!

The humanoid black shadow stopped in mid-air thirty meters in front of the pirate ship, then the shadow faded away, revealing a figure nearly four meters tall.

It was Moria who came from Wano Country!

"Captain, this guy is the great pirate who failed to challenge Kaido three years ago, Gecko Moria!"

"Bounty: 1.865 billion Berries!"

Beside Captain Victor, one of his crew members in charge of intelligence handed him Moria's bounty.

He took it and looked at it, then looked up at Moria and asked in surprise, "Didn't you say that this guy and his crew were killed by the Beasts Pirates?"

"What is this guy doing here?!"

Yao Yao, the colleague in charge of intelligence, nodded, "I don't know!"

While these pirates were discussing Moria, Moria was also sensing the pirates below and finally concluded that their auras were not very strong, so they could take them on.

However, we should still play it safe!

Moria created a shadow clone, sending it flying a thousand meters into the air, ready to switch places with Moria at any moment.

Then Moria covered his entire body in Armament Haki and descended onto the deck of the ship!

It's always good to have a place to settle down during a battle.

However, these pirates are clearly not stupid and will not let Moria, a Devil Fruit user, land on their ship smoothly.

"Kill this loser!" Captain Victor waved his left hand, pointed at Moria, and decisively ordered an attack.

Bang bang bang!

The pirates with guns opened fire, and instantly, dozens of bullets flew towards Moria.

Ding Ding Ding!

The bullets struck Moria's Armament Haki as if they were hitting a hard steel shield, producing only sparks and having no effect whatsoever.

Seeing that ordinary gun attacks were ineffective, the three officers on the ship who were armed with knives attacked together, instantly unleashing three slashing waves towards Moria.

Bang bang bang!

Moria swung his fist in mid-air, and with the help of his Observation Haki, he shattered three slashing waves with three punches.

At the same time, people also came up above the clamps!

"So strong!"

"Those were attacks from three executives with bounties of over 100 million Berries."

"They actually shattered that slicing wave that could cut through a hundred-meter-long ship with just three punches!!"

Looking at his group of terrified subordinates, Captain Victor's face turned somewhat ugly. He was a man who wanted to become the Pirate King, how could his subordinates all be such trash?

Then, with a transformation, Victor transformed into a saber-toothed tiger-like orc.

Whoosh!

Viktor made his move, and before Moria could land on the ship, he sprang up and leaped towards Moria, unleashing a punch imbued with Armament Haki.

"Captain Victor's bounty is 350 million Berries!"

"That guy is no match for the captain!" A group of lackeys who were just wary of Moria immediately started praising their captain as soon as they saw Victor make a move.

"It's a Zoan-type Devil Fruit, and it seems to be an Ancient Zoan!"

Seeing the two long fangs protruding from the corner of the man's mouth as he charged down below, Moria thought to himself, and his hands moved quickly, delivering a punch in one smooth motion.

Clang!

Click click!

As expected of a man who dared to challenge Kaido, Moria smiled as he felt the pressure from the fist.

but

He was still a bit weaker than himself. Moria's face suddenly turned pale, his arm grew larger, and he pressed down with a powerful punch.

"Damn it!" Victor's expression changed as a tremendous force came from him. He couldn't withstand it and was punched down by Moria, landing on the deck and smashing a large hole in the shape of a human.

"Captain Victor!"

"Victor!!"

The pirates stared in disbelief at Moria as he fell, screaming as they ran toward the entrance to the tunnel.

Tread!

Moria landed safely on the deck. Through the exchange just now, he had already assessed the approximate strength of this pirate crew.

No match for him!

With a thought, Moria summoned his shadow clone back; he was about to begin his killing spree.

Bang!

At that moment, a figure flew out of the cave and landed in front of Moria; it was Captain Victor. He was unharmed, and his aura showed no signs of weakening.

"Thank goodness, the captain is alright!" A group of underlings looked relieved.

They then came to Victor's side and stared intently at Moria. Anyone who didn't know better would think they were very loyal, but upon closer inspection, most of them were hiding two meters behind Victor.

Only eight officers stood close to Viktor, looking solemnly at Moria.

"I didn't expect that someone like you, who was almost wiped out by the Beasts Pirates and only had one survivor, would be so strong!" Victor looked at Moria with a serious expression, but his eyes were filled with fear of Kaido.

Even Moria, who could overpower him in terms of strength, was nearly wiped out by Kaido, which gives you an idea of just how powerful Kaido is.

"The Beasts Pirates!"

"Kaido!"

Moria's expression changed drastically upon hearing this.

During his time in the King of Sickness Center, he not only suffered physical torment, but the shameful reputation of being defeated by Kaido and imprisoned seemed destined to haunt him for life.

To wash away these shames, one must become stronger than Kaido, strong enough to kill him.

Then, no one will mention that Gecko Moria's companions were all killed and he was imprisoned and tortured for three years.

"So, become my power!" Moria coldly surveyed the pirates before him. With a thought, the shadow beneath him instantly split into dozens of sharp shadow spears, shooting towards the eight officers.

At the same time, Moria broke free of his shadow and charged toward Captain Victor.

After his abilities awakened, his shadow possessed all of his fighting instincts, in addition to the shadow that had absorbed the Black Blade Autumn Water.

That sharp shadow spear was more like an extended black blade, Autumn Water. Not only was its tip sharp, but its edges were also exceptionally sharp, and it was as fast as lightning.

Those eight pirate officers were also tied up for a time.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Moria, on the other hand, was at a disadvantage. Although he was strong, his combat skills were almost non-existent.

Victor didn't confront Moria head-on. Instead, like a hunting tiger, he dodged Moria's attacks while waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Teng!

Victor ducked to avoid Moria's punch, then seized the opportunity to strike with his right hand, his sharp claws scraping across Moria's body, sending sparks flying. Then, as Moria's fist came down, Victor leaped away, then charged at Moria again, waiting for an opening to attack.

"This guy is so annoying!" Moria was getting frustrated, as every punch he threw was dodged.

His strength and Armament Haki are clearly superior to Viktor's, and his speed is not much slower. In fact, his Observation Haki is even stronger than Viktor's.

But I just can't touch Viktor!

He is not yet the Moonlight Moria who will become a sphere with six limbs. Right now, he has a short neck, a non-pointed head, a well-proportioned body, and muscles like streamlined steel plates.

It can be said that in terms of strength, speed, and defense, it has no weaknesses among its peers.

But

Combat skills really have a huge impact.

Moria is now like a sloth with a knife; Victor can see everything he does clearly, but can't cut him at all.

"Am I being too overconfident!" Moria thought to himself, but it wasn't time to give up yet.

Moria also witnessed his Haki; by being careful to block attacks on vulnerable areas such as the eyes, he could improve during the battle.

After all, he may lack combat skills, but he certainly doesn't lack other strengths.

clank!

Moria was attacked from time to time, but his Armament Haki was stronger than Viktor's, and he was able to block it.

At the same time, he activated his Observation Haki to its fullest extent, sensing Viktor's movement trajectory and constantly adapting to his body's fighting instincts.

"What's wrong with this guy?" A hint of doubt flashed in Victor's eyes.

"His combat skills are terrible, but his physical strength is astonishing."

"Moreover, his combat instincts are sometimes very sharp. Several times, when he was about to attack the eyes or other places that Armament Haki couldn't defend against, his body would instinctively dodge."

The more Viktor fought, the more alarmed he became. He discovered that the guy he was fighting was improving his combat skills at an alarming rate.

Chapter 05 Kid, what kind of king do you want to be?

Hahaha!

Moria laughed, feeling excited. His body, fighting instincts, and skills were reviving as the battle progressed.

Combat skills are not about how many moves you have, but about how well you control your body and your mind are in harmony, whether you can move your body with your mind, and whether you can use your power to its fullest extent.

If Moria previously possessed physical strength and speed but couldn't utilize 80% of it, he can now utilize 80% or more.
