A faint smile played on his exquisitely beautiful face. His translucent skin gave him an air of aloofness, as if he might leave at any moment. Though his body was slender, he exuded an indescribable air of nobility and sinister charm.

The highest-ranking vampires are Cain's 13 grandsons—the third generation (the second generation has disappeared). They are said to possess powers close to those of the Patronus!

Next come their descendants, from the 4th to the 13th or 15th generation.
