"We should swim to the reef in the sea, and dive down to the Iha-Ensley, which is covered with giant pillars..."

As Red A approached the door, he heard a low chanting. He couldn't make out the specific words of the prayer, but a deep malice was already evident in it. It was like swallowing a whole jar of lard, and a nauseating, greasy feeling welled up in his heart.

What kind of bizarre ritual is this?

Archer instinctively sensed danger. Normally, he would have run away. He wouldn't care whether this guy was holding back a powerful attack or not, since he wasn't the only Servant. But not now. Maybe this guy would use Rin as a sacrifice for some evil ritual?

He opened the door, and a strong stench of blood mixed with the stench of decay hit him. In the center of the hall was an altar made of countless pieces of flesh and blood. Angra Mainyu seemed oblivious to Red A's arrival, holding a magic book with a human skin cover and chanting incomprehensible words.

It was like fingernails scraping across a blackboard, or diamonds rubbing against glass; the piercing noise made Red A's cerebral cortex go numb.

As he continued chanting, countless tentacles grew from his body, snake-like as they slithered through his flesh and blood, constantly churning.

An indescribable anger rose in his heart; it was the innate aversion of normal life to a distorted existence, and even his reason was boiling.

Rin? Is she in here too?

In just a few seconds, he regained his senses. Yes, Rin Tohsaka was not dead, there was no doubt about that. Don't act rashly.

While concealing himself, he mentally summoned Rin Tohsaka through the master-servant connection.

"Rin, Rin, are you alright?"

In the basement, Rin Tohsaka, who was lost in a dream, frowned, her long eyelashes trembling slightly, and finally woke up to Archer's persistent calls.

"So it was just a dream?" Rin Tohsaka breathed a sigh of relief. Just as she realized it, the chains binding her reminded her of her current predicament, and the image of being arbitrarily manipulated by Sakura Matou resurfaced in her mind.

"That Sakura guy, he actually..."

Steam rose from her head, her embarrassment and anger almost exploding. "I will never forgive you!"

"Rin, how are you doing right now?"

Archer's voice pulled Rin Tohsaka out of her reverie, and she was startled:

"Archer?!"

Rin Tohsaka looked around but didn't notice anyone spying on her. Luckily, Acher hadn't come looking for her yet, otherwise, in her current shameful state, she would have really died.

"I'm fine. Have you seen Sakura?"

“She and Rider went out and are now having a great time with Youxiao and the others. Where are you? I’m coming to rescue you.”

"Don't come any closer!"

Rin Tohsaka commanded in an almost annoyed tone, "Don't save me. I'm perfectly fine here. You should leave now!"

Just kidding, her clothes are all tattered now, and with her current posture, she looks exactly like a rich pervert keeping a female dog. It's better to keep her locked up here than to let Red A see her!

Her pride wouldn't allow this, but since the object of her affections was Sakura... it didn't really matter...

No, it should be that she will definitely let me out.

Rin Tohsaka blushed as she thought that Sakura had been sent to the old bug's hands since she was a child, so it was only natural that she had resentment. Once she vented her dissatisfaction, she would definitely turn back into that obedient little sister. For now, she could just pretend that Sakura was being affectionate with her older sister.

I just hope she can be gentle...

Archer felt that Rin Tohsaka's reaction was strange. She didn't seem to have suffered any abuse, but seeing the villainous boss in the hall, he couldn't bear to leave Rin Tohsaka there.

Who knows when they might be captured and used as a sacrifice?

Perhaps Rin Tohsaka's thinking was also affected. Considering this hymn that causes mental pollution just by hearing it, Archer (Red A) finds it difficult to determine whether Rin Tohsaka's mind is normal. What she sees and hears may all be illusions.

After all, having frequently worked for the Counter Force, Red A is a veteran of many such situations and has seen it all.

Let's explore each room first.

Red A decided to leave quietly, but suddenly, a slippery sensation, like a snake coiling around his neck, climbed up his back.

He turned abruptly, and a pair of large, bloodshot eyes stared silently at him, sending chills down his spine. Angolan Manuel's prayer was nearing its end:

"Dwelling in the lair of the deep, we will forever be bathed in wonder and glory—"

"Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!"

“Cthulhu Fhatgn!”

In an instant, a huge, tentacle-like phantom emerged from below, dripping with wet seawater, and merged with Angolan Manu. The altar formed from flesh and blood began to melt, and his mouth split open to his ears, revealing fine, sharp teeth, as if he were laughing.

At the same time, all the Blood Temples set up in Fuyuki City were swallowed up by the miasma that seemed to be alive. Seawater seeped out from inside, and the human bodies immersed in it began to mutate. Their heads began to swell, their eyeballs became large and bulging, like a famous British dish, their bodies became slippery, and tiny tentacles grew out of their bodies.

They died, but were resurrected as bizarre and powerful monsters.

Chapter Thirty-Four: I, Tohsaka, have never broken my promise in my entire life.

"What happened?"

Shiori Emiya hid behind Arthur, and the steady swordsman beheaded a fish-headed, human-bodied monster with a single stroke. But there was more than one of these monsters; they swarmed in from all directions, emitting meaningless, sharp roars, and rampaging through the human population on the street.

Panic, screams, and immense fear swept through the streets. People had no idea where to run and ran around in a frantic frenzy, only to be easily killed by the monsters that caught up with them. Some of the monsters even openly devoured human corpses.

Emiya Shiori trembled all over, not only from fear but also from anger. Right before her eyes, the aliens were carrying out a brutal massacre of humans.

“Saber—” she called to her knight.

“I understand, Master.” Arthur slew another fish-headed monster that charged at him. “But I must ensure your safety.”

"You can ignore what I say..."

“Please don’t say that. I am your servant.” Arthur interrupted Shiori Emiya. “Besides, there are definitely more monsters than what we see here. The same tragedy is happening in other parts of this city. Master, your safety must be ensured first so that I have enough mana to kill these monsters.”

Arthur clearly saw through Shiori Emiya's way of thinking, and his words left Shiori Emiya speechless. She also stopped using selfless lines like "I'm fine."

Emiya Shiori gripped the enhanced iron rod, her once delicate demeanor transformed into a razor-sharp edge. For the first time, she commanded her servant: "Then, annihilate them all, Saber."

"Your will."

The holy sword was raised once more.

Izayoi Mirai is in a bad state. Her hands are covered in blood, her clothes are torn to shreds, and her body is covered in marks from being whipped by chains. Crimson blood seeps from under her skin, but is healed by magic flowing from the lucky charm.

The spear in his hand was also on the verge of breaking; it was ultimately a hastily produced, substandard product, and the fact that it had lasted this long was already an improvement in quality.

Once again forcing Matou Sakura back, Izayoi Mirai deliberately released the spear in her hand, letting it be twisted into three pieces by the iron chain that was shot at her. She took a few steps and leaped out, rushing into Medusa's arms, her five fingers forming claws as she stabbed into Medusa's abdomen.

At the same time, he stepped out with his left foot and used his other free hand to lock Medusa in place, bringing their bodies into close contact.

Talent [Steal] activated.

Medusa's body stiffened as life force and magic surged into Yoruichi's body, and his eyes became slightly hot.

An unexpected, excruciating pain swept over his eyes; his fragile eyeballs felt as if they were being carved with a knife, and blood immediately began to flow.

Left with no other choice, he abandoned his plan to have Cú Chulainn ambush him from the shadows with his Noble Phantasm: "In the name of the Command Seals, come to my side, Lancer!"

The blue-clad lancer appeared beside Izayoi Mirai, stabbing to death several fish-headed monsters that tried to take advantage of the chaos, and blocking Matou Sakura, who was comparable to a Servant.

Medusa was badly injured. When Yoshou Mirai's hand pierced through her, it also stirred it violently twice, churning Medusa's internal organs into a mess.

Perhaps stimulated by her severe injuries, coupled with the increasingly murky magic in the air, Medusa's hair began to twist and come alive, turning into hissing snakes. Her blood dripped onto the ground, also transforming into venomous snakes that slithered across the earth.

She is transforming into a more powerful and brutal monster.

"Hey, Master, this is a big guy." Cú Chulainn was holding off Matou Sakura while also dealing with the fish-headed monsters charging at him. As the sense of threat emanating from Medusa grew stronger, and he couldn't abandon Izayoi Mirai to rush in and kill her, Cú Chulainn felt he couldn't hold on any longer.

How much longer do you have?

"Almost done." Mirai's voice was a little hoarse. The lucky charm was constantly drawing magic from the atmosphere to heal his bleeding eyes. The sensations of intense pain and numbness kept alternating, and he felt like he was going crazy.

Did I obtain Medusa's petrifying eye?

He opened the system's information panel, and surprisingly, even in complete darkness, he could still "see" his personal information on the system.

After skimming over the series of information about gaining magic power and life force, his attention settled on the last line:

You have obtained a Magic Eye (Fragment): Your current talent is insufficient to challenge a gem-level Magic Eye. It's like scraping off a tiny bit of the skin. You can't even reach the lowest level of Magic Eye. You can only reach the level of an artificial Magic Eye, at most possessing abilities like charm and suggestion.

"This ability is pretty good. You could be the male lead in an anime/manga series," the system mocked.

"Enough with the nonsense." Yushou Mirai closed the system interface. She thought she could get a powerful weapon, but it turned out to be such a low-grade thing. It was a waste of Cú Chulainn's trump card of one-hit kill. What a huge loss.

He opened his bloodshot eyes and pulled out a knife from his personal storage space. It was one of the Noble Phantasms he had casually picked up from the ground when he escaped from Gilgamesh last time. The spear was too long to put down, but he could still put down a knife or sword at an angle.

He assumed a starting stance, and the six sword techniques from the Eight Extremes Weapons, as well as the sharp swordsmanship originating from Sasaki Kojiro, flowed through his mind.

He raised his longsword and slashed at Medusa, who was constantly transforming into a demon.

Rin Tohsaka was surrounded by seawater, a faint layer of crimson light appearing around her, blocking the water's flow. This crimson light emanated from the wooden stake that had pinned the chains to the ground. Yet, she could still smell the salty, fishy odor and see the monsters swimming in the water—

A deformed monster with a fish head, and a fleshy ball covered in tentacles.

They formed a circle, their pale green eyes silently staring at Rin Tohsaka. In the quiet basement, only the occasional sound of water could be heard.

Rin Tohsaka felt a chill run down her spine and regretted rejecting Archer earlier. Her voice trembled slightly, and she barely dared to breathe.

"Archer, where are you now? I've thought about it again and I don't think it's good for you to worry too much. There's also the agreement with that guy, Izayoi, to take down the other Servants. You have to do what you're paid for, right? I never break my promises. So, when are you coming to take me out of here...?"

Red Archer is too busy to deal with Rin Tohsaka right now; he's focused all his energy on his fight against Angra Mainyu.

The terrifying phantom had long since vanished, and Angra Mainyu had also undergone a change—

His once handsome face had been completely transformed into a fish head, with countless tentacles growing from his body, making him so ugly that it was hard to look at. But more importantly, no matter what swords, spears, or halberds left wounds on his body, they would heal very quickly. His immortality was simply despair-inducing.

In a mishap, Red A was ensnared by his tentacles, pulled into the air, his bones creaking as he chanted his final incantation:

"I am the bone of my sword."

Recently, many influential figures have expressed interest in seeing interactions with the sister, but a story should have a beginning and an end. The Holy Grail War is nearing its end, and according to the book's timeline, this is the final day.

However, our Chinese teacher once told us that we should look beyond the surface to see the essence. For example, when we analyze poetry, when a poet expresses homesickness, he is actually subtly expressing why the emperor doesn't value him. I've thought about it carefully and realized that you are all dissatisfied. So I'll double down. Wait two hours and I'll fill you up!
