Chapter 1: Searching for Groudon's Red Pine

In the Hoenn region, deep and silent underground caves, a team is cautiously making its way forward.

The uniform was bright red, but the leader was a middle-aged man with a stern and dignified face, wearing glasses and with red hair.

He is none other than Red Mist, the leader of Team Magma in the Hoenn region!

"Chief, is this really the place?"

Behind Crimson Pine, a girl also wearing the Lava Team uniform asked Crimson Pine a question curiously.

She wore a loose-fitting hooded Lava Team uniform, had a delicate and lovely face, light purple hair, and light purple pupils.

Her name is Campfire, and she is also a highly valued member of the Lava Team by Crimson Pine.

Although he looks young, Campfire has exceptional talent and is very clever and intelligent, which is why Crimson Pine values him so highly.

"It shouldn't be wrong. According to the research, Groudon is sleeping here!"

Chi Yansong nodded calmly in response, but as he finished speaking, an uncontrollable excitement welled up in his eyes, which were hidden behind his glasses.

My dream of so many years is finally about to come true!

If you obtain Groudon, you can use Groudon's power to continuously expand the continent!

In this way, the world can become the way he wants it to be!

"Congratulations, Chief."

Upon hearing this, the campfire tilted its head slightly, smiling sweetly, looking quite adorable.

Her voice is very distinctive, very soft and melodious with a touch of childlike innocence, and it is a pleasure to listen to.

But Crimson Pine, walking ahead, failed to notice the eerie light flashing in the campfire's eyes.

After more than ten minutes of groping and moving forward, finally, a red light appeared at the end of the cave.

Chi Yansong and the others' eyes lit up, and they hurriedly ran towards the end.

This is a depression, and below it is a pool of scorching hot magma, the surface of which is constantly boiling and steaming.

Most importantly, in the center of the lava pool, a ferocious red behemoth was fast asleep with its eyes tightly closed.

Groudon, the legendary land overlord of the Hoenn region!

Groudon possesses the special ability to control light and heat. Even in flooded areas, Groudon can easily evaporate the floodwaters and trigger volcanic eruptions to create land if it so desires!

This is Groudon! One of the three legendary Pokémon of the Hoenn region!

"Hahaha~ It really is Groudon! We've finally found it!"

Looking at Groudon sleeping in the lava pool, even the usually calm Crimson Pine couldn't help but tremble slightly with excitement.

Groudon is the biggest guarantee that his dream can be perfectly realized. In Red Pine's mind, the land is everything!

Human beings grew, developed, and thrived on land!

The land is the root of humankind. As long as we can continuously expand the land, humankind will gain greater space for development!

And now, his dream is within reach!

"Congratulations, Leader! With this, Team Lava will become the new Creators!"

"Haha~ Boss, hurry up and wake up Groudon."

"Our dream is finally about to come true."

Hearing the loud laughter of the Lava Team members, Crimson Pine finally calmed the surging emotions in his chest.

He was an extremely calm and rational person.

Red Pine took out a red gem from his pocket. It was a vermilion jewel that would allow him to awaken and control the sleeping Groudon!

This is also the source of his confidence in searching for Groudon.

As soon as the crimson gem was taken out, it began to faintly shimmer with a reddish light, clearly sensing Groudon's presence.

Seeing this, Crimson Pine smiled even more, and was just about to raise the Crimson Jewel to awaken Groudon with its power.

But at that moment, a slender little hand swiftly grabbed the vermilion jade and snatched it away!

This change happened so fast that the smile on Chi Yansong's face even froze on his face.

But in the next instant, Crimson Flame Pine's uncontrollable rage clearly surfaced, and it turned around to look.

"A campfire? Are you crazy? Do you know what you're doing?"

When he saw who had taken the crimson jade, Chi Yansong's anger intensified, and he questioned them in a low, hoarse voice.

That's right, the person who suddenly snatched the precious jade from Chi Yansong's hand was none other than his trusted cadre, Bonfire!

Because he was surrounded by his Lava Team's trusted men, Crimson Pine was not on guard, but he never expected that Campfire would do such a thing.

The other members of the Lava Team stared at the campfire in astonishment, completely bewildered.

"No, no~ I'm perfectly sober right now."

The sweet smile still lingered on the delicate face of the campfire, and she held a crimson jade in her hand as she stepped back to maintain a safe distance from the Lava Team members.

"Bring me the precious jade, and I can forgive your disrespectful behavior just now."

Red Flame Pine's chest heaved, but he suppressed his anger and reached out to the campfire, speaking in a deep voice.

No matter what, Baoyu must not be lost.

This is the foundation of his dream!

As for the campfire, we'll clean it up properly after we get the jade back!

"Huh? Disrespectful? Leader of Crimson Flame Pine, I always thought you were a smart person~"

"Even now, you still don't know what happened?"

The bonfire, with its fair little hands gently playing with the vermilion jade, revealed a mocking smile upon hearing this, looking at the Crimson Flame Pine and speaking sarcastically.

"you?"

Upon hearing this, Chi Yansong paused, as if he had suddenly realized something.

"That's right~ I've never been loyal to you from the beginning~ I only joined Team Lava for this day."

The mocking smile on the campfire's face deepened, as if he were looking at the Crimson Flame Pine like a clown.

He had been following him for over half a year and hadn't realized he was an undercover agent; the agent still trusted him deeply.

How dare such an idiot own Groudon?

Chapter 2 I, Crimson Pine, admit defeat
