"That's right, let's go all out, quantum drive!"

The five girls simultaneously activated quantum drive at ten times the normal speed, and they did so continuously despite the risk of injury. Their weapons transformed into streaks of light, frantically slaughtering dozens of tiny, incredibly fast kobolds that were running around everywhere.

However, there were still too many kobold minions. These little kobolds had little health and could be killed with a single normal attack, but there were too many of them and they were too scattered.

If there were a team of twenty people, a few dozen kobolds would probably only cause a little trouble, but now there are only a few dozen scattered around, which have caused Momo and his group a lot of trouble.

In the end, the girls, despite their best efforts, only managed to kill half of them. The remaining kobolds burrowed into the burrow, and the leader of the burrow in the middle emerged again.

However, unlike before, its wounds had completely disappeared, and its health had probably returned to full.

"Roar!"

The enraged lord charged at the girls again, but the girls, who had fought with all their might, were too exhausted to even move.

"See? I was right. If I hadn't held back just now and stopped it now, you would have been ravaged by this disgusting monster."

"Shameless!"

"Dirty!"

"Isn't this just laziness?"

The three who showed no mercy to Mo Mo were Argo, Kuroyukihime, and Asuna. It seemed that the three of them had planned it together. Ever since Mo Mo had taken them down by himself that day, they had collectively ignored him, as if they wanted to teach Mo Mo a lesson through the silent treatment and regain some of their dignity.

Only Artoria and Yuuki nodded and waved to Momo, seemingly affirming Momo's choice.

With Momo holding off the lord, the girls recovered in a while, but they all lost interest in the lord.

Its strength is not great; one of Mo Mo's group could withstand its attacks. However, its shameless ability to regenerate health requires multiple people to overcome.

Thus, the first attempt to conquer Aincrad had to be abandoned.

Despite this, the first four layers of Aincrad have been opened up, and the population under Momo's rule has reached about 10,000. Fengzi is working hard to add the Quantum Era to the first four layers.

However, clearing the fourth floor did not bring about any qualitative change to the Hall of Heroes. The biggest difference was that people of other races appeared under Momo's command, but this was meaningless since they were just various NPCs anyway.

What Momo could sense was that the Hall of Heroes' blessing on these heroic spirits seemed to be a little stronger, and Momo could control a little more power.

It seems that we'll have to wait until later to fully unleash the power of Valhalla.

"Mo Mo, it seems our strategy has come to an end. What are your plans next?"

Artoria approached Momo and asked about the upcoming plans, while Momo looked up into the distance.

"It's time to set off for the world of Code Geass."

Author's Note:

This is the third update, and there will be another one shortly. However, since we've reached 3500 recommendation votes, we should add another chapter, so I still owe two more...

017 Oh dear, we've come to the wrong place again?

A temple, floating in the air.

With its blend of classical styles, the temple floats in the void, surrounded by a sky of yellow hues.

Standing in front of the temple and looking up, you can see the dim sun behind the temple. The entire temple seems to float in the sky under the setting sun, which is a very beautiful sight.

However, the complete scene is hardly something to be happy about.

Although the entire landscape appears to be a sunset scene, the colors here are not the beautiful and soothing hues of nature. Instead, they resemble an abstract painting created by heavy, chaotic oil paint. The yellow sky and the hazy sunset give one a feeling of suffocation at first glance.

What's most surprising is that directly above the temple, seemingly piercing through the endless sky, there is a floating, earthy-yellow planet, still in a bold and colorful style.

That planet was so dazzling that it made one feel dizzy at first glance, as if it were a powerful force from another world, enough to crush everyone's spirit.

This is clearly not a scene from common sense; it is definitely a special space with a mysterious aura.

This is the world of C.

The world of C, also the most mysterious place in the world of Code Geass, is the collective unconscious of humanity, and at the same time, a collection of human minds and memories.

The world of C is the spatial form shown before us. Entering the world of C is equivalent to entering the subconscious realm of oneself and others, where one can observe the deep minds and memories of oneself and others.

In the world of C, one can see into the memories of others, as well as one's own past. One can also converse with the most mysterious group of people in the world of Code, the holders of the Code.

As for the Code, it is a cursed power. This power has existed since the beginning of recorded human history, influencing the course of human progress and causing significant changes to the entirety of human history.

The holders of the Code roam the world like immortal ghosts, demons among men. They see into people's hearts and manipulate them, leaving behind all sorts of strange legends about them all over the world.

So what exactly is code?

Why would the world's consciousness curse certain special individuals, granting them the power of Code and forcing them to pass on Geass, thus allowing the power of Code to be continuously transmitted and interwoven into human history?

Unfortunately, neither the holders of the Code, nor even the holders of the Geass, considered this question. Even Charles D. Britannia and Marianne V. Britannia, who ultimately attempted to use the power of the Code to achieve their goals in the original work, did not consider this question.

Perhaps only the first person in ancient times to obtain the power of the Code could understand the meaning of all this?

Even CC believed that the power of the Code was merely a curse, a curse that prevented people from dying and kept them stuck at the moment they obtained the Code.

But is that really the case?

It's definitely not.

In the original work, VV was probably the only person who could truly understand the power of the Code.

Of course, this is just Mo Mo's guess.

CC's strength in code comes from its legacy, but where does VV's strength come from?

No one knows for sure, and it wasn't mentioned in the original work, but one thing is certain: VV's power did not come from C.C., otherwise VV would not have been able to advance to become the holder of the Code.

The original work only mentions one way to inherit the Code: the Geass holder who obtained the Geass from the Code holder must kill the Code holder who inherited the Geass from him in order to upgrade his own Geass ability into Code.

Therefore, VV's power could not have been obtained from C.C. Could it be that there was a second Code holder in the world besides C.C. who passed on the power of Geass to VV and then died at VV's hands?

It seems that this is the only reasonable guess.

There were two people in the temple.

The two people, one older and one younger, were dressed in typical Britannian royal attire.

The big man had a full beard, a square face, and white hair curled into mysterious stick-like shapes on both sides of his head. If it weren't for his imposing presence, most people would probably guess that he was wearing a wig.

The small one had long hair that reached its feet. If it hadn't been deliberately trimmed, it would probably have dragged on the ground and become a portable mop.

The fact that these two people could appear in C's world already speaks volumes about their identities.

One is Charles DI Britannia, the current emperor of Britannia, and the other is VV, the holder of the second Code in the world of Code Geass, a character who, like C.C., is only left with a code name. He is also Charles's brother.

"Shall we begin, Charles?"

“That’s right, brother.”

The two people looked at the sunset and the distant, vibrant landscape, their faces beaming with smiles of triumph.

"Our army has already set out, and it's only a matter of time before we conquer a small island nation like Japan. At that time, even the last remaining ruin, Kageshima, will fall into our hands."

"After that, once the synchronization system for the ruins is established, we will be able to truly control the ruins, activate the Sword of Akasha, slay the gods who have manipulated the fate of mankind since the age of mythology, and truly realize our ideals."

"Yes, we've built a world without falsehoods together. You haven't forgotten, Charles."

"How could I forget, brother? Our wish will soon come true."

The two brothers seemed to always be of one mind, and VV always thought so too. However, VV was unaware that his brother's heart had long been changed by a woman named Mariana.

Compared to a world without falsehood, Charles gradually became interested in a world where people could understand each other. If everyone could understand what others were thinking and see through their facades, wouldn't that also create a world without falsehood?

However, VV discovered this and believed that the woman named Mariana had altered his brother, making it seem impossible for their contract to be fulfilled.

Having discovered this, VV could no longer tolerate Marianne. He plotted to kill Marianne, believing that this would win back his brother Charles and make him continue to work with him to build a world without falsehoods.

However, VV was wrong, and his plan was exposed.

Before her death, Marianna activated her Geass, Soul Infiltration. This ability allows her to infiltrate another person's body, allowing her soul to reside within their consciousness.

The person being parasitized was Anya Alstorlem. As a child, Anya was apprenticing in the Aries Palace, Marianne's palace, when she happened to witness VV killing Marianne. At that time, she was small enough to escape VV's sight and thus survived.

Mariana took the opportunity to let her soul enter Anya's body, thus surviving a precarious existence. Furthermore, due to the power of Geass, Mariana was able to influence some of Anya's actions; for example, Anya's mech piloting skills were enhanced to the level of a Knight of the Round Table because of Mariana's influence.

Marianna was even able to temporarily manipulate Anya, making her her puppet.

In this way, Marianne essentially survived, and VV's conspiracy was naturally exposed and fully known to Charles.

In order to protect Marianne, Charles used his Geass ability to alter memories, erasing Anya's memories and making her forget that Marianne was killed, turning her from an observer and witness into a completely unrelated person.

Meanwhile, in order to protect Lelouch and Nunnally, Charles made up a pretext to exile them to Japan as hostages. Japan, in order to maintain its relationship with Britannia, would certainly guarantee the safety of Lelouch and Nunnally.

All of this is the reason why the entire Code Geass storyline begins, a setup that took place seven years before the official start of the story.

Furthermore, all of this caused an irreversible rift in the relationship between Charles and VV. Charles, who was originally wavering between VV and Marianne, hated VV for betraying their vows first because of Marianne's death.

Never lie to your brothers, and create a world without lies.

VV lied first, and then VV killed Marianne. With these two conflicting hatreds intertwined, Charles completely sided with Marianne.

Although he is still working with VV to conquer all the world's divine relics and build an Akasha's Sword system that connects all the relics, Charles's goal is no longer to create a world without lies.

Charles has sided with Marianne, aiming to create a world where everyone can understand each other; he is merely exploiting the last remaining value of VV.

However, VV knew nothing about these things.

This is the ambition of the two brothers, and the Code holder's act of stirring up the world once again. Meanwhile, Britannia's current attack on and occupation of Japan, gaining control of the world's largest Sakura Stone mine, is merely a cover and a supplement to their occupation of Kageshima Island.

The whole world is filled with war and devastation because of Charles and VV's actions.

"Yes, that's good. I'm really looking forward to it. Our dream is about to come true!"

VV laughed happily, stretching out his arms as if to embrace the unseen source, which was the object they were to kill, the god they were to kill.

"Oh, right, what about CC? Is she still under surveillance? That woman is not stable. After escaping from the cult, she has been hiding all over the world."

"Don't worry, brother."

Charles said confidently, "This is not ancient times anymore. Half of the world is under the control of Britannia. Finding a woman like her under our control is extremely easy."

"The construction of the Akasha's Sword system still needs time, so for now, let her roam freely. We can capture her whenever needed."

“Is that so?” VV nodded and said, “That’s good.”

"It seems that nothing can stop us now!"

“That’s right, brother, nothing can stop us now.”
