"My past self? The original nature of this body?"

Tsukiki spoke softly, in a voice only she could hear.

The smell of dinner wafted from the kitchen, and the system's electronic voice fell silent for a while. Dinner was much quieter tonight, and even Tsunade, who was usually very noisy, was quiet.

Tsukiki noticed it.

Although he knew that he was a homebody who exercised and worked out before he transmigrated, he had absolutely no idea how he transmigrated. Not only that, the body he transmigrated into also had no original memories. Unlike the novels he read, he didn't know the original owner's memories as soon as he transmigrated.

The system is also a standalone machine; it basically doesn't speak, nor can it provide any hints or answers to the moon tree.

For some reason, when Yue Shu recalled things before she transmigrated, they were all vague and unclear.

This is not a good omen, at least that's what Tsukiki thinks.

Even a single drop of water can cause ripples on a calm surface, and the same is true for the Hokage. With the addition of Tsukuyomi, an outsider, everything is changing.

The sun had already quietly set, and Yue Shu returned to her room after having dinner.

There isn't much entertainment in the Naruto world. Tsukuyomi lay down as usual, with the window wide open. For Tsukuyomi, it was nice to leisurely enjoy the breeze at night.

"Well, let's take it slow."

Yue Shu stopped thinking about these random things and closed her eyes to quietly enjoy the cool evening breeze.

The nights in Konoha Village are quiet. Unlike in my previous life, there is no concept of nighttime business here. Food stalls and karaoke bars don't exist in the Naruto world.

Thinking of this, Yue Shu smiled unconsciously.

Chapter Fourteen: Master and Disciple and the Invitation

"Hey, Tsukiki, how have you been lately?"

After a long absence, Minato Namikaze reappeared before Tsukiki.

"Huh? Minato, weren't you on a mission?"

School had just let out, and Tsukiki, feeling bored, wandered around the streets when he bumped into Minato Namikaze.

"I just got back. There aren't as many tasks lately, so I finally have some free time."

Minato Namikaze was still the same, with a warm smile.

"How about it, Genin?"

"Not bad, but the tasks are still quite simple, with many tasks like finding things."

"Well, everything starts with small things."

"That's a good point."

"Haha, speaking of which, who was your Jonin instructor again? If you graduated early, you probably didn't join the graduating class team, right?"

After Tsukiki finished speaking, Minato Namikaze's eyes lit up a bit.

"Speaking of this, you would never guess who my mentor, the Jonin, is."

"Oh?"

Tsukiki became curious, wondering why Minato Namikaze seemed so excited.

"Do you know about World War II? During that great war, Konoha produced three great ninjas, the Sannin."

As Minato Namikaze spoke slowly, Tsukiki felt increasingly uneasy.

"My mentor, a Jonin, is one of the Legendary Sannin."

"Jiraiya?"

Tsukiki was surprised for a moment, then glanced at Minato Namikaze.

How did you know?

"Ok."

Yue Shu was speechless.

Unexpectedly, it really was Jiraiya, which caught Tsukiki completely off guard.

Jiraiya shouldn't be in Konoha at this time.

Where is he now?

Yue Shu asked.

"Jiraiya-sensei? He was just with me a moment ago, and then he suddenly disappeared."

Minato Namikaze touched his hair, still lost in thought.

"Ahhh!"

A sweet cry rang out, immediately attracting the attention of Tsukiki and Minato Namikaze.

"There's a pervert!"

It looks like there's a pervert involved.

"------"

Tsukiki already knew what had happened. Jiraiya had returned, and someone had shouted "pervert!" Anyone who had watched Naruto would connect these two things together.

Jiraiya's image isn't that of one of the Three Ninja, but rather that of a perverted sage.

"Let's go take a look."

Full of a sense of justice, Minato Namikaze wouldn't just stand there when he heard there was a pervert. As soon as the shouts subsided, he started heading towards the source of the sound.

"Although I don't think you should go, I'll go with you anyway."

Tsukiki looked at Minato Namikaze with eyes full of sympathy.

This silly child doesn't know that one of the legendary Sannin he admires is actually a gentleman.

"Ouch, that hurts. Those girls didn't know to be gentle. It was just a few glances."

On the other side, a man with slightly long white hair gently touched his face on the ground.

"Hey."

"Ok?"

Hearing someone call out behind him, Jiraiya instinctively turned around.

"It's you! Are you the pervert from earlier?"

Even though she already knew, Tsukiki still pretended.

"Jiraiya-sensei, what are you doing here? Is what Tsukiki said true?"

"I----"

Jiraiya couldn't come up with any reason for the time being.

Tsukiki watched Jiraiya from the side. His face, which was originally not bad, was now swollen and looked like a pig's head.

"Speaking of which, Minato, what are you doing here? And that guy over there, weren't you the child from back then? How are you doing in Konoha?"

Jiraiya coughed, stood up straight, and tried to change the subject.

"I was just strolling around over there when I ran into Tsukiki."

Minato Namikaze was still naive; Jiraiya quickly changed the subject.

"Oh, what a coincidence, me too."

Jiraiya quickly changed the subject, while Tsukiki watched quietly from the side.

"Himegami Tsukiju, how about it? Konoha's not bad, is it?"

"Hmm, not bad, thanks for your help back then."

"That's wonderful! No need to thank me. I am the Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku, I am here."

"Hmm, a lecherous immortal."

Tsukiki nodded, and Jiraiya, who was posing, immediately collapsed to the ground.

"He's not a lecherous immortal! He's a toad immortal!"

"sorry."

"That's too casual."

Tsukiki's expression remained calm, while Jiraiya continued to make sarcastic remarks.

"Haha, Jiraiya-sensei and Tsukiki have a really good relationship."

"That's an illusion."

Yue Shu replied immediately.

"Without hesitation?"

Jiraiya clutched his chest, his face filled with sorrow.

"hehe."

Minato Namikaze smiled; he thought it was quite nice that Jiraiya and Tsukiki were getting along like this.

Just past noon, near the bathhouse in Konoha, Tsuki and Jiraiya bumped into each other.

"Speaking of which, I really didn't expect Tsunade to take you in."

Tsukiki and the other two were sitting in a dango shop when Jiraiya, as their senior, offered to treat Tsukiki and Minato to dango.

Five-colored dumplings are also a long-established shop in Konoha, and are Mitarashi Anko's favorite snack in the original work.

"Is that so? I think Lady Tsunade is a very nice person."

Minato Namikaze took a bite of the dumpling and then stuck his tongue in it.

"That's not what I meant. It's just that Tsunade's status doesn't allow her to just take in anyone."

Jiraiya also took a bite of the dumpling. The master and apprentice were still the same, and they still had many things in common.

"I didn't know about that either. Well, I'm still very grateful to Tsunade."

Tsukiki also took a bite of the dumpling, the kind that Mitarashi Anko loved in the original story.
