The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

It's much simpler now.
Milton nodded. "Come to think of it, apart from the dueling club last semester, I've never fought anyone."
He seemed very dissatisfied with himself, saying, "If things continue like this, it won't matter how many spells I learn."
“No problem,” Scott agreed. “We can call a few more people.”
In fact, he felt that there was not much point in him going up to fight Milton for training.
It wasn't that he was overconfident, but the gap was really quite large, especially after Scott had undergone Professor Frivy's systematic training.
Moreover, Scott couldn't control his emotions as well as Professor Frivy.
In this way, the training won't be very effective.
Chapter 203 Fred vs. Cedric
Scott got up and went to the Gryffindor long table to call Eddie and the Weasley twins, who were having a heated discussion.
He then went to the Hufflepuff table to inform Roger and Cachini, who were whispering among themselves, and also brought along Cedric, who had volunteered.
The last group of eight found an empty classroom on the second floor of the castle.
"As I just explained, the reason for this is that Milton wanted to conduct practical training."
Scott said to the others.
"I think this kind of training is actually indispensable for us, so I called everyone together."
"Practical training?" Fred drew his wand and mimicked Lockhart's gestures a few times. "Like in the dueling club?"
Scott nodded. "Yes, I think there's a general lack of this kind of training, and that won't do."
“I agree.” George deliberately raised his hand.
He laughed and said, "Last semester during the dueling club, a lot of people ended up throwing away their wands and starting to fight each other. That's not wizarding, and it's not magic."
“You’re right, Scott,” Cedric said. “I really appreciated the level of skill you displayed during the duel.”
He honestly said, "And I've even practiced imitating your fighting style in private."
However, not everyone is interested in actual combat.
"Why train in combat?" Caccini shook his head in confusion. "You boys, isn't Quidditch enough to release your excess energy?"
Roger quickly explained, "Oh, dear, Quidditch and combat training are two different things. Combat training is for better self-protection in the future."
Kacchini shook his head again.
"We learn magic because we are wizards. Magic allows us to do many amazing things, not just for fighting."
She looked at the boys disapprovingly.
"In this peaceful era, why do you waste your time and energy on such things?"
The boys present looked at each other, and for a moment they remained silent.
Kacchini seemed to think the boys were speechless, so she added, "You just like it this way, and of course, I shouldn't object to your interests."
She said to Roger, "I'm sorry, honey, I won't be participating in this event, but I'll cheer you on."
"you……"
Roger looked at his girlfriend with a conflicted expression.
"Honey."
He tried to change her mind.
"Even in times of peace, it doesn't mean there are no dangers in the magical world. Whether it's a dark wizard or a magical creature, they could all harm you."
He even started by using Medea as an example.
"Don't you remember Medea? She was so dangerous!"
“What you’re saying is meaningless,” Kacchini said dismissively. “I won’t go to places with dark wizards and magical creatures, and Medea gave me what I wanted.”
This is Kachini.
Scott thought.
A person who can choose to exchange their magic and magical talent for musical talent.
She was an exceptionally innocent girl.
Roger opened his mouth, seemingly giving up on persuasion.
“Then you should go first, darling,” he said. “If you’re not interested, you won’t be happy staying here.”
"What do you mean?" Kacchini's eyes changed, and he looked at Roger warily.
"I mean……"
Roger turned his head and saw that everyone was watching them. He quickly made a gesture to Scott, then put his arm around Cachini and left the classroom.
After the two left, the remaining people looked at each other for a while before laughing.
“Alright, let Roger go and coax his girlfriend, let’s get started,” Scott said. “Let’s move the tables and chairs over here first.”
Everyone sprang into action, waving their wands to move the tables and chairs aside, clearing the space in the middle of the classroom.
Scott sat at a desk against the wall and asked the others, "The space here isn't big, so we can only go in groups. Who wants to go up and try first?"
"We'll go first!"
The Weasley twins rushed to the middle of the classroom, raised their wands, and pointed them at each other.
“Find someone else,” Scott said. “You two know each other too well; it might not be effective for the training.”
You have a point.
George voluntarily walked down the field and sat at the desk next to Scott.
“I’ll be your opponent, Fred.” Cedric stepped forward.
“Oh, Cedric the model student, the obedient Cedric,” Fred said somewhat awkwardly.
Cedric simply smiled and looked at him.
“Alright, alright,” Fred reluctantly raised his wand. “Come on.”
“What’s wrong with him?” Scott asked George, who was standing next to him.
“Our two families live not far apart, but we’re not like the good student Cedric,” George muttered.
understood.
Scott nodded.
For the Weasley children, Cedric was probably the "other people's child" that their parents always talked about.
He jumped off the desk.
“Let me be the referee,” he said to Fred and Cedric. “But you don’t need to bow to each other like you did at the Duel Club. Just follow my instructions and get started.”
Fred and Cedric both nodded.
“Very good.” Scott raised his right hand. “One! Two! Three! Go!”
As he swung his right hand down, Fred and Cedric both sprang into action.
"Except your weapons!"
"Except your weapons!"
Both of them used the disarming spell simultaneously.
Two beams of red light came from both sides and collided violently.
Then, the two spells remained locked in a stalemate.
Fred and Cedric gripped their wands tightly, gritting their teeth and persevering.
The point where the spell connects shifts between the left and the right.
"Give it your all, Fred!" George shouted excitedly, "Smash the Diggory's good boy!"
"Watch me!"
Fred roared and thrust his wand forward with all his might.
The connection point of the spell began to move towards Cedric.
"Go for it, Cedric!"
Eddie, not to be outdone, cheered for Cedric.
Cedric roared as well, and the connection point of the spell began to move towards Fred again.
Scott didn't expect that the two of them would pull this stunt right at the start of training, and that neither of them would give up the curse.
"Who do you think will win?" George asked Scott nervously.
Has the left-hand side always been the losing side?
Scott looked at Fred, who was standing to his left.
“No!” George refused to accept the suggestion.
But at that moment, Cedric suddenly broke his disarming spell, nimbly ran to the side to dodge the oncoming red beam of light, and waved his wand at the same time.
"Petrify them all!"
Fred was caught off guard and fell into a petrification spell, freezing in place.
See it.
Scott turned to George, who was staring in disbelief, and shrugged.
"Well done, Cedric!"
Eddie, standing on the other side, started clapping.
"Stop the curse immediately."
Cedric smiled and released the petrification spell from Fred.
