Chapter 204: Several Battles in Practical Training

"Get down, Fred."

Scott waved to Fred, who had a furrowed brow, and then said to George, Eddie, and Milton, "Who's going to challenge Cedric next?"

"I!"

George rushed over immediately.

"You must avenge me, brother!" Fred feigned tears.

“Of course.” George raised his wand. “Go ahead without worry, brother.”

“Oh…” Fred immediately stopped faking his tears. “You might as well just lose, bro.”

"Prepare."

Scott served as referee again.

"One! Two! Three! Go!"

"Except your weapons!"

"He collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious!"

Having learned their lesson, George and Cedric staggered their steps, each avoiding the other's first curse.

"Petrify them all!" George cast a petrification spell first.

While moving and dodging, Cedric used a Polymorph spell, turning a stool into a hound.

"Obstacles are numerous!"

George quickly cast a spell to slow the hounds' pace.

Meanwhile, Cedric conjured up a second hound.

However, he could only control two hunting dogs, and even while controlling the hunting dogs in battle, the frequency of his spellcasting slowed down.

"As expected, not everyone can fight like you."

Fred said happily to Scott.

"George has a chance to win!"

Scott nodded.

George cleverly chose not to destroy the two hounds, but instead kept using Obstacle Charms to slow them down and other spells to harass Cedric himself.

Cedric's transfiguration creations were far less agile than Scott's.

In this way, George's choice actually consumed most of Cedric's energy.

Coupled with the limitations of the venue, Cedric began to struggle to cope over time.

"Petrify them all!"

George's petrification spell struck Cedric, ending the battle.

Without Cedric's command and control, the two hounds immediately started spinning in circles, chasing their own tails, having a great time on their own.

“How about that, brother?” George said smugly to Fred. “I’ve avenged you.”

"Well done, bro!" Fred gave him a thumbs up.

Scott waved his wand, turning the two hounds back into stools, and then lifted the spell on Cedric, who had been deliberately ignored by George.

“You should have just abandoned one of the hounds,” he told Cedric. “That way you would have had more energy and would have been much more agile in the fight.”

“Thank you, Scott. It seems I’m still too inexperienced in combat,” Cedric said.

“It’s okay, you’ll get much better with a few more training sessions,” Scott said.

Cedric nodded and walked to the edge of the classroom.

“Next…” Scott looked at Eddie and Milton.

“You’ll do.” He pointed at Milton. “Milton, you fight George. After all, Eddie is a third-year student.”

“Okay.” Milton walked to the opposite side of George and began to take a deep breath.

"Watch the rhythm," Scott reminded Milton in a language he could understand.

Milton nodded.

George protested, "Referee, are you showing favoritism towards your roommate?"

“Of course not.” Scott smiled at him. “I said watch your rhythm, you heard me too, Mr. Weasley.”

"Humph."

George also imitated Lockhart, waving his wand a few times in a flashy manner.

Even if you're biased, I won't lose.

He began reciting his lines as if he were acting in a stage play, and with a fixed wand in his hand, he pointed it at Milton.

"Let your roommate's failure make you taste disappointment!"

"..."

Scott didn't want to talk.

This shows that while George is more composed than Fred, his composure is still extremely limited.

“Ready.” Scott raised his hand.

At that moment, Roger pushed open the door and walked in.

Scott winked at him, signaling him to stand at the edge of the classroom, and continued shouting to the two on the floor, "One! Two! Three! Go!"

"He collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious!"

"Petrify them all!"

"Except your weapons!"

Milton and George's battle began.

The first spell caused the two to dodge each other.

When the second spell began, Milton started to slow down.

George's disarming spell almost hit him. Before he could cast his second spell while dodging, George's third and fourth spells were already coming.

"Tarantella Dance!"

"Except your weapons!"

Milton was hit by the Dance Charm, his wand was knocked away, and he lost the battle while tap dancing.

"Haha, that was easy!" George was already extremely pleased with himself.

Roger picked up Milton's wand and waved his own wand to break the spell on Milton.

“Let me deal with you, Fred!” He strode forward and handed Milton’s wand back to him.

“I am George!” George beckoned to Roger. “Come on, Roger, I will win whether it’s Quidditch or a duel.”

George looks like he's gotten too big for his britches.

“Whether it’s Fred or George, it’s all the same,” Roger retorted. “I’m Davis of Ravenclaw!”

"..."

What is the title of Ravenclaw's Davis?

Scott was a little confused.

Ignoring the two drama queens, he turned to look at Milton who was walking over.

"Are you alright?" he asked.

“It’s alright.” Milton had clearly anticipated his failure.

“I’m a complete novice when it comes to fighting,” he said. “I know what to do, but while my mind can keep up, my hands and feet just can’t.”

"Practice more," was all the advice Scott could offer.

Although Milton's magic increased significantly after his deal with Medea.

But clearly, he couldn't convert the magic of growth into combat power.

Combat also requires talent.

This is a talent different from magical talent.

Scott knew that with Milton's physical condition, no matter how hard he tried, he could never become the kind of wizard who excelled in combat.

However, progress is a good thing.

"Mr. Referee!"

George shouted loudly.

Seeing that he and Roger had stopped their trash talk, Scott raised his right arm again.

"Ready... One! Two! Three! Go!"

The fight between George and Roger was far more exciting than the previous one Milton had participated in.

At the very least, both of them are Quidditch players with excellent physical abilities and reaction speed.

The two exchanged blows, spells flying everywhere, and for a time it was difficult to determine who was superior.

On the field, the two players gave it their all, while off the field, Fred and Eddie cheered for their respective teams without giving an inch, creating the atmosphere of an entire cheerleading squad.

This battle lasted the longest of the previous battles.

Five minutes later, George was hit by Roger's disarming spell and lost his wand.

However, since George had already fought two battles and Roger was in good condition, George's loss in this battle was understandable.

Nevertheless, Roger and Eddie were overjoyed, and the two winked smugly at the Weasley twins.

At that moment, Scott waved to Eddie.
