“Very good,” he said. “Now, start making it following the steps on the blackboard!”

Scott and Milton quickly looked up at the blackboard and used quills to mark the differences between the blackboard writing and the textbook.

A true Potions Master will always optimize the creation of various potions. Fourth-year students have learned from countless past lessons that they should rely on Snape's blackboard notes in Potions class.

Scott reviewed the process of making the antidote potion again, discussed it briefly with Milton, and the two began to divide the work of processing the potion ingredients.

At this point, Snape also began to take action. He walked silently around the classroom, stopping from time to time to stare at the students' movements with an oppressive gaze.

Whenever Snape approached Scott and his companions, Milton would shrink back, barely daring to breathe. At this point, Scott had to divert some of his attention to prevent Milton from making a mistake in his panic.

Fortunately, this wasn't Milton's first time experiencing something like this, and he already had experience in dealing with it.

Although he was still not immune to Snape's interference, he would stop whenever he felt his thinking was unclear. This way, although he was slower, he would not easily make mistakes.

During that class, Snape walked past Milton several times, and once he even deliberately got very close to watch his movements.

Scott quickly took over Milton's work before Milton's hands trembled.

This seemed to disappoint Snape, and Scott heard him exhale heavily through his nose before turning away.

But not everyone escaped unscathed like Milton in this class. Several Hufflepuff students made mistakes while making potions, allowing Snape to deduct five points from Hufflepuff as he wished.

Especially Roger's ex-girlfriend, Miss Mill. Her attention was probably entirely focused on Roger and his new Potions class partner. In short, she made a series of mistakes throughout the class, and eventually, thick smoke even billowed from her cauldron.

Hufflepuff was thus penalized five more points due to Miss Mill's mistake.

Fortunately, Hufflepuff students have never been too concerned about House Grades. On their way home after class, they quickly became cheerful again.

Milton, on the other hand, still looked relieved even after leaving the Potions classroom.

Scott patted him on the shoulder and said, "Hey, it's over. We got an A (Acceptable) on our potion. Now let's forget about the antidote and head over to our History of Magic class for a good rest."

"Oh right, the history of magic."

Milton snapped out of his reverie, put "Potions and Magical Elixirs" into his satchel, and pulled out "A History of Magic."

"I love the history of magic!"

Milton immediately became visibly happy and hugged the thick book to his chest.

"I knew it," Scott thought.

Milton was probably the only student who listened attentively in the History of Magic class.

Although Professor Spencer, as a ghost, lectured in a tone that was soporific, Milton was quite adept at conjuring up many romantic and beautiful stories from those dry and boring historical accounts.

He drew a lot of inspiration from this and even wrote more than thirty cello pieces on the theme of "historical stories".

Ravenclaw was taking this History of Magic class with Slytherin, so Roger rushed into the classroom alone before class started.

"You didn't even bring your textbooks."

Scott looked at the book "Potions and Magic" in his hand.

Isn't this kid a bit too arrogant?

"Copy in pairs (Geminio)".

Roger pulled out his wand, copied Scott's textbook, and smiled smugly.

"Oh, by the way," he leaned closer and whispered, "we're going to test a new formation this afternoon. Would you and Milton like to come and take a look?"

“New formation? I remember the team changed their Seekers before?” Scott asked.

“That’s right, Qiu’s skill level is not bad,” Roger said. “To be honest, better than Carson.”

Carson, a seventh-grader, was Ravenclaw's previous Seeker. Because he was nearing graduation and hadn't performed well for the team, he voluntarily gave up the Seeker position to Cho Chang.

“Would you like to take a look? Perhaps you can give us some advice,” Roger said to Scott and Milton.

Scott and Milton were both interested in the team's new formation and new members, so they readily agreed.

“I will go,” Scott said. “I only have one arithmetic divination class this afternoon.”

“I am a divination instructor,” Milton said.

In the afternoon, after leaving the arithmetic divination class, Scott went back to his dormitory first.

When he arrived at the Quidditch pitch, Milton was already seated in the stands.

"Did you come straight here after class?" Scott asked casually when he saw that he was still carrying his backpack.

“Yes, the atmosphere in today’s divination class is a bit heavy.” Milton seemed a little uneasy. “I wanted to come early to relax.”

“What did Professor Trelawney predict this time?” Scott asked, as if it were a common occurrence.

“She said…” Milton swallowed hard and began to mimic Professor Trelawney’s peculiar voice, “that shadows have fallen over Hogwarts and that someone will meet with misfortune after Halloween.”

That seems pretty accurate? If we're talking about the "original plot" regarding the escape room.

“You should be used to it by now,” Scott said to Milton. “Professor Trelawney often makes some sensational predictions.”

"Hopefully nothing will happen." Milton was still somewhat worried.

“Everything will be alright,” Scott said.

Because he had already decided to nip the danger in the bud. If his plan went smoothly, there would only be one victim—a cat.

As the two were talking, the team members flew out of the locker room by the field on flying broomsticks.

They flew around the field a few times, during which Roger kept waving at Scott and Milton.

"wrong."

Scott narrowed his eyes, then suddenly stood up and pulled out his wand.

Seeing his serious expression, Milton quickly asked, "What's wrong?"

“Sonorus”.

Scott pressed his wand against his throat.

"Roger!" His voice instantly echoed throughout the entire stadium, "Jump down right now! There's something wrong with your broom!"

Based on their long-standing trust and tacit understanding, Roger immediately and without hesitation jumped off the flying broom.

"Wingardium leviosa!"

Scott raised his wand and cast a perfectly timed levitation spell on the falling Roger, stopping him in mid-air.

Just then, Roger's flying broom began to spin erratically in the air, even emitting black smoke.

Chapter 031 Professor Flitwick's Conclusion

"what happened!"

The sudden turn of events on the field left the players, who were flying through the air, somewhat bewildered.

"Quickly! Everyone! Spread out!"

Captain Bruce was the first to react. He shouted loudly, telling his team to get away from the flying broomstick that was billowing black smoke.

Fortunately, the players on the field were all fairly well-trained Quidditch players. They reacted to their captain's shouts and immediately accelerated away from the flying broom.

At that moment, Scott, standing in the stands, was ashen-faced.

Roger's broom was still darting around in the air, sticking close to Chambers, a second-year student, making it impossible for him to shake it off for the time being.

The black smoke billowing from the flying broom grew thicker and thicker, and even a few sparks appeared.

Merlin!

Chambers shouted in a panic.

"Don't panic!"

Bruce, as captain and batter, stepped up and sped over to Chambers, attempting to knock the broom away with his bat.

"Scott!"

Roger, who had already landed on the grass, looked up and shouted.

Scott chanted a spell, then forcefully waved his wand, pointing it at a long wooden bench in the front row of the stands.

A chilling eagle's cry rang out, and the wooden stool instantly transformed into a giant eagle, soaring through the air with lightning speed and arriving beside Chambers and Bruce in the blink of an eye.

The sharp eagle talons accurately seized the out-of-control flying broomstick, and the giant eagle flapped its wings, carrying the flying broomstick into the sky.

"Well done, Scott!"

Roger jumped up excitedly and shouted.

"Well done!"

Bruce also raised his fist high.

"awesome!"

The players were about to applaud... Bang!

With a deafening roar, the flying broom exploded violently before everyone's horrified eyes, blasting the eagle Scott had conjured with his shapeshifting magic into pieces.

The transformation spell immediately lost its effect. The eagle turned into countless wood chips, which fell from the sky along with the debris from the flying broom.

"Merlin's beard!"

Roger stared in disbelief at the scene, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

"Damn it! Who is it?!" Bruce was completely enraged. "This is murder! This is a murder targeting our players!"

The others realized the seriousness of the situation and quickly landed on their brooms.

Scott ran down from the stands with Milton.

"Why...why did this happen!" Milton was panting heavily, his eyes red and still trembling with fear. "Thank...thank goodness you were here, Scott, thank goodness you were here..."

"Scott!"

Roger rushed over and gave Scott a hug. He was unusually incoherent.

"Oh! I don't know... how to thank you, my brother! You saved my life!"

"And Chambers and I too!"

Bruce walked over and patted Scott hard on the back.
