The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Scott was self-aware; the old principal's moral standards were much higher than his.
At the very least, Dumbledore would never help Voldemort just to deal with Medea.
In short, it's not a good thing for people with incompatible values to get together.
“Gryffindor? What are you worried about?” Ravenclaw was unconcerned. “Godric Gryffindor himself wouldn’t be that rigid.”
That's because Godric Gryffindor is your close friend and peer.
Scott thought to himself.
Moreover, the social environment a thousand years ago was completely different from today. In that chaotic era, it was perfectly normal for wizards to fight and kill each other.
He boldly said to Ravenclaw, "You can imagine if Godric Gryffindor were your elder..."
“Oh…” Ravenclaw’s expression changed slightly in the painting.
However, she quickly smiled again.
“Never mind, perhaps your actions won’t be approved by Dumbledore,” she said kindly to Scott.
Scott gave a slight bow.
"I hope you'll be careful and not play with fire and get burned."
Ravenclaw gave him a word of advice and then waved him away.
Because he had to make up for most of the day's study time, Scott left the Requirement Room very late.
To avoid the Peeves running rampant in the castle, as well as Filch and Lady Lorris on patrol, he had to take a longer route back.
When he returned to his dorm room, all three of his roommates were already asleep.
Scott tiptoed in and out of the dormitory, and after washing up, he immediately lay down on the bed and fell asleep.
He was woken up early Saturday morning by a strange noise.
"Go Ravenclaw! Go Ravenclaw!"
Opening his eyes, Scott saw Eddie waving a small flag excitedly, his face painted with colorful patterns, yelling and screaming in the dormitory. He silently took out his wand from under his pillow and cast a petrification spell on him.
Chapter 309 Victory, Morning Dialogue
Roger, the captain of the Quidditch team, had already left early Saturday morning.
In the dormitory, Milton was maintaining his wand. When he saw Scott wake up, he looked up and greeted him.
Good morning, Scott.
Good morning, Milton.
Scott got out of bed, ignoring Eddie who was frozen in the middle of the bedroom in a comical pose, and went to the bathroom first.
When Scott returned to his dorm after using the restroom and washing up, Milton was still diligently maintaining his wand, while Eddie remained standing upright in the center of the room like a statue.
Scott ignored Eddie's pitiful look again, walked past him without glancing at him, changed out of his pajamas, and began to slowly put on his clothes.
Shirts, socks, trousers, leather shoes, sweaters, robes, scarves.
Once he was dressed and ready, he started fixing his hair in front of the mirror.
"It's almost time." After finishing his haircut, Scott turned to Milton and said, "We should go have breakfast."
As he spoke, he put away his pocket watch, hung the shapeshifting lizard skin bag on his belt, put on warm leather gloves, and finally gripped his wand.
"Ok."
Milton looked at the wand in his hand, nodded in satisfaction, and stood up.
He also put on a scarf and gloves, and together with Scott, they walked past Eddie toward the dormitory door.
Scott waited until Milton opened the door before turning around and waving his wand to remove the petrification curse from Eddie.
Eddie, who had suddenly recovered, stumbled and nearly fell.
"Damn it! My legs are numb!"
Eddie roared and stumbled toward the two of them.
Scott smiled at him and gently shook his wrist holding the wand.
Eddie immediately stopped rushing forward and said nonchalantly, "Let's go get breakfast, I'm starving!"
Half an hour before the Quidditch match began, almost all the teachers and students in the school were already seated in the towering stands around the pitch.
Scott used a copying charm to duplicate Eddie's Ravenclaw flag and held it in his hand.
Soon, the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff team members flew out of the locker room on flying broomsticks and began to fly around the field in neat formation.
Cheers immediately erupted from the stands of both colleges.
Scott yawned, looking a bit bored, but didn't perk up until the game officially started.
As the game progressed, Scott also understood the source of Roger's previous confidence.
In this match, the Ravenclaw team changed flight formations very quickly. Whenever the Hufflepuff team made a move, the Ravenclaw team could quickly come up with the best response.
“Looks like you did more than just spy on Hufflepuff’s training,” Scott said to Eddie.
They even figured out the formations their opponents had prepared for this match.
“Of course.” Eddie was very proud, his nose almost twitching.
The match continued, and after some time, the Hufflepuff players, having been constantly countered by Ravenclaw's changing formations, simply abandoned their formations and began to play freely.
"That's even better!"
In the stands, Eddie raised his fist.
Scott immediately realized that the Hufflepuff players' reaction was exactly what Ravenclaw had predicted.
When Hufflepuff abandons its formation, Ravenclaw will counter with their trained standard formation.
In short, the match ended smoothly before noon, with Ravenclaw emerging victorious.
Ravenclaw's Seeker Cho, with the help of two teammates, defeated Cedric and caught the Golden Snitch.
Amidst cheers and laughter, Scott, sitting in the stands, smiled; he wasn't surprised by the result.
When the strengths are roughly equal, investing more wisdom and making more thorough preparations will obviously make it easier to achieve victory.
Scott did not participate in the celebrations; after lunch, he went to the Room of Requirement to spend the rest of the day.
"Little Barty really ran away!"
Early Sunday morning, Rimbaud brought Scott the results of the previous incident.
“I was a little unsure at first,” Rimbaud told him, “until last night, when I saw old Barty angrily punishing that house-elf!”
Scott stood on the elevated stone bridge shrouded in morning mist, looking up at the hazy canyon below.
He raised his hand, letting Rimbaud stand on his arm, and said to it, "So, neither you nor the raven witnessed Barty's escape?"
Rimbaud nodded.
“But it’s true!” it said again. “I saw that poor little house-elf searching for his little master all night near Crouch’s house!”
"That's good." Scott finally smiled.
“I don’t quite understand. Are you sure Little Barty can find his master?” Rimbaud asked him.
“Of course it’s uncertain,” Scott said nonchalantly. “I’m just offering a possibility; the rest is none of my business.”
"But……"
Rimbaud looked up at Scott, seemingly not quite understanding his thoughts.
It asked again, "You said you released Barty Jr. so that he could help Voldemort regain some of his power, so that Voldemort and Medea could fight each other, thus reducing your own stress, right?"
“You’re right,” Scott nodded. “For Medea, I’m just a diversion; Voldemort is the necessity.”
“If Barty can’t find Voldemort, wouldn’t that be a waste of your… no, of my and the crows’ efforts?” Rimbaud said, somewhat displeased. “And your plans will be shattered!”
“That’s nothing.” Scott smiled again.
Rimbaud flapped his wings and flew to Scott's shoulder. "Why do you say that? Didn't you say that you deliberately increased the difficulty for Medea because you were worried she would be bored and cause you trouble?"
“This is the most I can do,” Scott shrugged. “If that Dark Lord can no longer rise to power, he'll only become food for Medea…”
He shrugged. "What can I do?"
Rimbaud asked with some concern, "Aren't you worried...?"
“Are you worried about Medea trying to ‘tame’ my little tricks?” Scott turned to look at it.
Rimbaud nodded.
“Worrying won’t help,” Scott said with a smile. “I just didn’t want to be disturbed or distracted, so I thought of giving Voldemort a push to put him in front. It doesn’t mean I can’t handle Medea’s little tricks.”
For him, it would be best if that thing worked out, but if it didn't, he wouldn't be unable to go on living.
As he spoke, he turned and walked toward the auditorium.
"I still have more than two years before I graduate from Hogwarts. I have a feeling that this is probably the timeframe Medea has given me, and she won't take any more drastic measures before I graduate."
"She said that?" Rimbaud asked curiously.
“No,” Scott replied, “but it’s an unspoken understanding.”
"I am confident."
He continued.
"Now I have the best mentor and the best learning conditions. I believe I will be able to protect myself before graduation."
Chapter 310 An Unexpected Incident in Potions Class
Just as Scott and Rimbaud had said, he didn’t know whether Barty Jr., who had escaped from home under his secret influence, would be able to find Voldemort in hiding, but he soon received feedback.
This feedback did not come from Harry, whom he had originally expected, but rather from Snape, whom he had previously ignored.
The Dark Mark, the brand Voldemort himself placed on the Death Eaters, reflects Voldemort's state more directly than Harry, one of the Horcruxes.
More than ten days after confirming that Barty Jr. had escaped, Scott sensed something unusual about Snape's left arm during a Potions class.
