The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

The handwriting is unfamiliar.
He walked to the single sofa by the window and sat down, carefully examining the envelope in his hand.
No magical fluctuations were detected.
But after William's letter, Scott became more wary of letters from unknown sources.
He did not open the letter rashly.
"What's wrong with you?" Milton asked him curiously. "Why don't you open it up and take a look?"
Scott waved the envelope in his hand and said with a smile, "This is a letter from an unknown sender. I don't recognize the handwriting on the envelope."
"So?" Milton asked, puzzled.
“So we can’t open it rashly,” Scott said with a puzzled look. “There might be some kind of curse or poison inside.”
“How could that be?” Milton thought Scott was playing a prank.
“Okay, I’ll take it apart and see.” Scott stood up.
He placed the letter on the stool beside his bed, then sat back down on the sofa.
"Let me think, I need an animal that can help me open the letters."
He waved his wand in Milton's puzzled gaze.
The Transfiguration spell flashed, and the stool quickly transformed into a monkey.
The monkey chattered away, reached up and took the letter from above its head, and roughly tore it open.
Bang.
The moment the envelope was opened, the yellow powder exploded, turning into smoke that quickly spread out.
At the same time, the monkey let out a painful cry.
Scott stood up and moved in front of Milton, quickly waving his wand.
"Armor protects you!"
An invisible magical barrier temporarily blocked the yellow smoke that was spreading towards the two of them.
"Sweep it all away in a whirlwind!"
A gust of wind swept by, gathering all the yellow smoke together into a ball.
Scott then got a clear look at the monkey.
It was baring its teeth and howling, its body and face covered with huge blisters that couldn't be covered by any fur.
"Are you alright?" Milton was clearly extremely surprised.
“It’s alright.” Scott walked to the side, opened the window, and waved his wand again.
A whirlwind carrying the unidentified yellow powder flew out of the window.
Scott then turned the monkey back into a stool.
“It really is poison!” Milton stood up and looked at the stool.
The paint on the surface of the wooden stool had bulged up, like one huge bubble after another.
Scott looked at the letter on the ground with a grim expression.
The envelope had burst open, revealing the parchment inside with writing on it.
Scott tapped his wand, and the parchment flew up, unfolded, and hovered in the air.
Scott and Milton simply watched from a distance.
The handwriting on the parchment was very messy, and it was clear that the writer seemed to have gone mad.
[Ha ha ha ha!
Have you gotten your comeuppance, you executioner!
I hope you like this gift!
I won't let you get away with this!
You killed her! If it weren't for you, she wouldn't have died!
You'll pay the price! Mudblood!
I will make you pay the price...
The latter half of the letter was filled with hateful and vicious curses.
Milton's eyes widened upon seeing these words.
"W-what happened?" he said, his face pale. "Who...who is it...?"
Scott narrowed his eyes. "Blazing flames!"
As he waved his wand, the envelopes on the ground and the letters in the air burst into flames.
Only after they had all burned to ashes did Scott use a whirlwind to sweep the ashes away and blow them out the window.
“Scott!” Milton suddenly snapped out of his daze. “You destroyed the evidence! We should tell the professor about this and give that wicked letter to the Aurors at the Ministry of Magic!”
“No need.” Scott sat back down on the sofa.
"Do you already know who sent the letter?" Milton asked him worriedly.
Scott nodded slightly. "I do have some suspicions."
“Who is it?” Milton sighed. “Honestly, you should preserve the evidence and have the Aurors arrest that person!”
“It’s no use, even if they leave a note, they won’t be able to catch anyone,” Scott said.
"Why?" Milton was skeptical.
“Think about the contents of the letter, the source of the writer’s hatred for me, saying that I killed someone, and a woman at that,” Scott said.
“You mean…” Milton realized, the implication was clear, “You mean the dead Travers?”
Scott nodded. "Who else could it be but her? After all, Travers only sneaked out of St. Mungo's because he wanted to cause me trouble."
“That’s completely unreasonable! Travers…she deliberately sought to cause you trouble!” Milton said angrily. “Besides, her death had nothing to do with you; she died in an accidental splitting accident!”
Scott remained silent.
Milton, however, began to speculate. "Who wants to carry out this unreasonable revenge? Travers's family?"
“The Travers family is gone, and her relatives wouldn’t resort to such childish methods of revenge,” Scott said. “If I’m not mistaken, the letter was written by Caitlin Roll.”
Upon hearing the name, Milton immediately realized, "Is she the girl who jumped down the stairs to frame Jacob?"
Scott nodded again. "Her cousin, Elijah Caro of Slytherin, also attacked me twice. Of course, he was expelled from the house afterward."
"Are you sure it's that girl?" Milton asked again. "Why do you think it's her this time?"
Scott said, "Carlo said that the reason he attacked me was that his cousin Caitlin Roll hated me and didn't want to go back to Hogwarts."
The letter was written by Caitlin Roll, and although this conclusion was a guess, Scott intuitively felt that the guess was correct.
The only thing he couldn't understand was that Jasmine Travers had been dead for a year, and Caitlin Raoul, who had been completely manipulated by her... or rather, completely controlled by her using the Travers family's inherited magic, was only now beginning to take revenge. Didn't he think it was a little too late?
“Since you already have some suspicions, tell the Aurors everything as soon as possible. Oh, we’d better go see Professor Flitwick first.” Milton was already preparing to put on his robes.
Scott stopped him. "It's no use. Those cousins have already gone to Durmstrang."
Milton stopped moving.
“Demstrand?” He frowned.
“I specifically inquired about it; yes, they went to another magic school,” Scott said with a smile. “The Aurors of the British Ministry of Magic can’t find that place.”
“But they’ll come back, or maybe for the Christmas holidays? Anyway, that letter was illegal!” Milton said.
"Yes, it's illegal, so what?"
Scott was still smiling.
“Back then, Carlo and an adult male wizard ambushed me in the Forbidden Forest to kill me. He was personally sent to the Ministry of Magic by Dumbledore, but Carlo was only imprisoned in the Ministry of Magic's dungeon for a short time before being released.”
Milton's brow furrowed even more. "So what are you going to do..."
Just then, the dormitory door was pushed open, and Roger and Eddie returned together.
We're back!
"Good evening... What happened?"
They sensed something was off as soon as they entered.
After the dormitory door closed again, Milton quickly told them what had just happened.
Chapter 318 Planning New Plays
In the dormitory, as Roger and Eddie listened to Milton's description, their expressions gradually became serious.
The two walked to Scott's bedside and looked at the stool whose paint had been ruined by poison.
Roger turned to Scott and said, “Milton and I agree on this matter. I think you should definitely tell the professor.”
"What kind of poison is this?" Eddie asked, his face grim. "It can turn even a wooden stool like this, let alone human skin."
"Who knows?" Scott had no idea either.
"It's a yellow powder that explodes into smoke when it comes into contact with air, and it spreads very quickly." Milton was still shaken.
"If Scott hadn't been on guard and hadn't opened the letter himself..." He turned pale as he said this.
“Scott, what are you really thinking?” Roger asked Scott. “Are you just going to let this go?”
Scott smiled and said, "Of course we won't let it go like this, but I don't think it would make much of a difference if we told the professor or took it to the Ministry of Magic."
"Oh? So you don't believe the Ministry of Magic can resolve this matter fairly?" Eddie chuckled. "Do you want to retaliate yourself? I don't think that's out of the question."
Scott asked with a smile, "Do you perhaps have a good idea?"
“There’s no good way, but you could write a spiel and send it back to her,” Eddie said.
“No!” Milton immediately objected.
