The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Scott nodded and smiled at the girl in the painting, as if to thank her for pointing out the obvious conclusion.
"You're just my apprentice; there's no time for you to learn and grow step by step."
Ravenclaw said to Scott with a somewhat serious expression.
"What I mean is, I can't let you decide your own learning pace like before. I will change the teaching model of passively answering questions and actively impart more knowledge to you in the future learning time."
“Thank you, mentor.” Scott, of course, had no objections.
He bowed slightly to the portrait and solemnly thanked Ravenclaw.
In the painting, Ravenclaw says, "This is not the teaching method I like. This method is just me instilling knowledge in you, and you will lack the process of thinking for yourself, which is not good for you."
Scott nodded to indicate that he understood. "I understand, mentor. I will try to think about what you have taught me as much as possible in my spare time."
Ravenclaw also said with some helplessness, "Although it will be very hard for you, there is no other way."
At this moment, Helena showed an expression of empathy for Scott, as if she were wearing a mask of pain.
She asked Ravenclaw, "Mother, if things continue like this, is it possible for Scott to defeat Professor Slytherin?"
“How could that be?” Ravenclaw glanced at her. “Salazar, his fighting ability is second only to Godric, in short, stronger than me and Helga.”
She told Scott, "Growth doesn't happen overnight. The four of us didn't reach our peak until after we were 35. That's when we were truly different from other wizards. You're still too young."
"What should we do then?" Helena was dumbfounded.
"We can only do our best to enhance the child's ability to protect himself," Ravenclaw said.
“How about…” Helena suggested, “that Scott go abroad and hide away as soon as he graduates, to the farthest place, how about the East?”
“It makes no sense,” Ravenclaw commented.
Scott felt a slight ripple of emotion when he heard the word "East," but it quickly subsided.
Going to the East, as Ravenclaw said, is pointless; there's no one there to protect him now.
He might as well stay in England, where at least he has Dumbledore to rely on.
“Then…” Helena asked a question that Scott also wanted to know, “Could Headmaster Dumbledore defeat Professor Slytherin now?”
Ravenclaw smiled and said, "I don't know, but of course I'm sure that Dumbledore was a wizard of the same caliber as us when he was alive."
Very well, this statement further solidified Scott's idea of currying favor with a powerful figure.
With such a powerful backer, it would be a fool not to cling to him.
Of course, this was just Scott's own self-amusement at that moment.
Dumbledore said he would help him after learning of the prophecy.
Scott understood that even so, he couldn't hide by Dumbledore's side all the time, and ultimately he would have to rely on himself.
When Scott left the Room of Requirement, curfew had long passed, and all the lights in the castle had been turned off.
As he walked out of the corridor where the Requirement room was located, he noticed an open door in the distance on his left, with warm light shining on the corridor floor.
Scott stopped in his tracks.
Just as he was about to leave quietly, a shadow appeared in the light shining on the floor.
Soon, Dumbledore, dressed in pajamas and a nightcap, appeared in the doorway and waved to Scott.
Scott walked up to Dumbledore, bowed, and greeted him, "Good evening, Professor Dumbledore."
"Good evening, Scott." Dumbledore turned and walked into the room. "Come in and have a chat with this old man."
Scott glanced at his star-patterned pajamas and followed him inside.
He found that the room was still the familiar principal's office.
For a moment, he really wanted to ask Dumbledore how many doors there were in the headmaster's office.
"Come and sit down."
Dumbledore, who had already sat down, waved to Scott again.
This time, he didn't sit behind his desk, but instead sat on the sofa by the window.
His phoenix was standing on the perch next to the sofa, burying its head in its wings and fast asleep.
Scott walked over and sat down on the sofa opposite Dumbledore, with a small coffee table between them.
He looked up again at the wall covered with portraits of former principals not far away; the portraits all looked like they were asleep.
This time, Dumbledore didn't ask Scott what he wanted to drink, but instead shared a cup of hot cocoa with him.
"So you've gone to seek help from the portrait of Lady Ravenclaw?" Dumbledore asked kindly.
“Yes.” Scott nodded, picked up his glass, and took a sip.
Dumbledore picked up his steaming cup and asked with some curiosity, "What about the portrait of Lady Ravenclaw?"
Scott answered honestly, "My Ravenclaw tutor said she would change her teaching method from passively answering questions to actively imparting knowledge."
Dumbledore was not surprised by Scott's words.
Just as Scott had guessed, he had anticipated that Scott would be taught by Ravenclaw's portrait.
But judging from his unsurprised reaction when Scott referred to Ravenclaw as his mentor, the old headmaster must have also had some interaction with the portrait of Ravenclaw's mentor.
Upon hearing Scott's reply, he simply chuckled and said, "In that case, there probably isn't a more diligent student at Hogwarts these days."
“No.” Scott was still self-aware. “Those guys who use time converters to attend classes and get all 12 certificates in the primary wizarding exams are much more diligent than me.”
“Although I am the headmaster of this school, I do not advocate that kind of behavior.” Dumbledore winked playfully. “Having 12 certificates is certainly excellent, but in my opinion, a report card obtained by trading one’s youth is not so worthwhile.”
The old principal adopted a casual, conversational stance.
He continued, "Rather than using dangerous gadgets like time converters to overdraw time, I would prefer my students to find something they are truly interested in to pursue further studies."
It must be said that Scott thought the same way.
He plans to drop several advanced courses in the second half of his sixth year, such as astronomy, history of magic, herbalism, and the protection of magical creatures.
This means he will need to learn Transfiguration, Spells, Potions, Ancient Runes, Divination, and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
He shared his thoughts with Dumbledore.
Dumbledore nodded in agreement.
“We don’t require students to take all classes. In the advanced classes starting in sixth grade, the professors also have some requirements for the students’ grades.”
He kept rambling on and on.
"It's understandable that you need to make choices; a smart and organized student like you needs more of your own time."
Scott thanked him for the compliment, but still wondered why Dumbledore wanted to chat with him.
He had thought it was something important.
But Dumbledore seemed to have invited him into his office just for casual conversation, and he never brought up the topic of prophecy again.
After finishing his hot cocoa, Scott said goodbye.
"Go on, you should go back to your dorm and get a good night's sleep." Dumbledore waved his hand. "And so it will be in the future; growth can't rely on staying up late."
Scott was taken aback when he heard this.
Dumbledore was advising him not to over-squeeze his rest time in his eagerness to become stronger.
Scott thanked him again, gave a slight bow, and turned to leave the principal's office.
When he turned back after walking down the corridor, the door that had been radiating warm light had disappeared, and the place where the door had been had been replaced by a rough stone wall.
Scott smiled silently and walked towards the spiral staircase.
He still managed to avoid the night patroller Filch and his cat by relying on his magical senses, and successfully returned to his dormitory.
"I wonder what Scott's up to this time..."
Pushing open the dormitory door, I heard Eddie talking about where he was going.
"Good evening." Scott stretched as he stood in the doorway. "You guys aren't asleep yet?"
“Oh, Scott, we were just talking about you,” Eddie’s voice came from under the covers.
“I heard you.” Scott walked to his bedside, took off his robe, shook it, and hung it on the hanger.
"Are you in a relationship?" Luo Jie asked.
“No,” Scott said helplessly. “You should worry about yourself and look at your ex-girlfriend.”
As soon as he finished speaking, laughter came from Eddie and Milton's bedchamber.
Recently, Roger's ex-girlfriend Cachini has been undergoing increasingly interesting changes.
Some time ago, Roger was slapped by Kacini, but he was not angry. Instead, out of curiosity about Kacini's drastically different changes, he paid more attention to her.
As a result, he was ridiculed by Kacchini in front of many people again.
Playboy Roger lost face.
Now, that once delicate piano girl has become the big sister of Hufflepuff School, extremely popular among the girls. She has not only overshadowed Cedric but also gained a group of female fans.
Roger's ex-girlfriend, Miss Mir, who used to look at Roger and Cachini with a resentful expression, has now also fallen into Cachini's arms.
"Oh..." Roger let out a painful groan, "Stop talking, I dare not provoke her anymore, I stay far away from her whenever I see her now."
“Oh poor Roger, you’ve got a girl you can’t handle now.” Eddie laughed gleefully.
Roger said defiantly, "At least I managed to handle her once."
Hearing his attempt to save face, Scott and the other two laughed at the same time, filling the dormitory with a cheerful atmosphere.
When Scott returned to his dorm after showering, the other three were still talking about Kachini.
“Kaccini is already a prospective member of the Quirky Sisters,” Milton said. “She could become the first real female member of the Quirky Sisters.”
“But she’s starting to look more and more like a boy now,” Eddie said, trying to sound cheerful. “A while ago her hair was just short, multicolored hair, but recently it’s so short you can see her scalp.”
Roger remained silent throughout.
It wasn't until Scott drew the bed curtains and got into his own bed that he heard him mutter, "There must be a reason. A person can't change like that for no reason."
Scott and his team certainly knew that Roger was right.
But it's also a pointless statement.
