The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Milton shook his shoulders, but didn't shake off her hand, and then let it go.
“Hey, Milton,” Cachini whispered in Milton’s ear again, “want to switch back? We all regret making that deal with Lady Slytherin, don’t we?”
This time, she didn't lower her voice, so everyone could hear her whisper.
"Moreover, I've discovered that my talents can only be better utilized when they are within myself," she continued. "Like music, it takes me a lot of time to complete a piece, while you used to write pieces that were just as good as Cachini."
She whispered a lot in Milton's ear, and this time Milton reacted more strongly, quickly taking several steps back to completely break free from Cachini's grasp.
Milton always resisted anyone getting close to him, even Scott and his friends; the closest gesture they could get was a pat on the shoulder.
This is also why Scott said he was asexual.
“If we can get it back,” Milton said to the somewhat bewildered Caccini. “I promise to get it back. Do you have a way to do that?”
Kachini suppressed her surprise and turned to look at Grapland behind her.
The four boys followed his gaze and looked at Grapland.
“No need to be so serious,” Grapland said with a smile.
Her smile still exudes a powerful sense of approachability.
She walked over to Kachini and exhaled a puff of smoke.
"Isn't magic good?" she asked Milton. "With added magical talent, you can become a more powerful wizard than you were before."
Milton, who was a little shorter than her, looked up at her.
He said, "It's not so important whether you can become a powerful wizard, Miss Grapland."
“It seems you really want to switch back.” Grapland stared into Milton’s eyes. “Then let’s switch.”
At this point, Scott couldn't help but speak up.
“Are you sure you can do that, Miss Glapland?” he asked calmly.
“Oh, Scott.” Grapland’s gaze fell on Scott. “What do you think? You’ve been watching me since earlier. Do you think I’m some kind of dark wizard hiding in Hogwarts?”
Scott did not answer her question.
He simply stared at her, waiting for her to answer his question.
“Oh, alright, you asked me if I could do it, if I could get those two little wizards’ talents back.” She took another deep drag on her pipe. “Of course, I can’t, but someone can.”
Before Scott could say Medea's name, Grapland quickly interjected, "I'm not talking about Lady Slytherin."
Chapter 371 Grapland's Enthusiastic Salesmanship
Scott looked at the teaching assistant in front of him.
Faced with his skeptical gaze, Glapland simply smiled confidently.
Scott looked at Kacchini again.
The girl kept staring at Milton.
“It seems you’re quite confident,” Roger suddenly said. “Cachini, I hope you’re not joking about Milton.”
Upon hearing this, Kachini's smile vanished.
She glanced at Roger casually and chuckled.
"Don't worry, Davis," she said coldly. "I won't drag innocent Milton into my past with you. You're not that important."
"That would be best," Roger replied, and then fell silent.
Kacchini responded with another sneer.
Scott glanced back and saw that Roger's face was flushed.
At this point, Milton shook his head at Scott and the other two men, and then turned to the two women and said, "Miss Cachney, Miss Grapland, I have made my position clear. Can you tell me what you intend to do?"
Kacchini then turned to look at Grapland.
Scott and his team became even more certain that everything that had happened today was orchestrated by this teaching assistant.
Grapland did not answer Milton's question directly; her gaze was fixed on Scott.
She smiled slightly. "I need to speak with you alone, Scott."
Upon hearing her say that, Scott's three roommates all turned to look at him.
"So that's how it is," Scott thought. "So this whole thing was aimed at him too."
“Miss Grapland,” Milton said somewhat hastily, “I’m sorry, this is my matter, you shouldn’t involve Scott.”
As he spoke, he reached out and pulled Scott, wanting him to stand behind him.
Scott, however, did not move.
He stood there observing Grapland, trying to figure out what she meant.
But Grapland always had a friendly smile on his face, so there was no clue whatsoever.
“Don’t worry, I just want to talk to him, right here,” she said to Milton in a reassuring tone. “I won’t leave your sight during the conversation, you just need to keep a distance.”
Milton's attitude was unusually firm at this moment. He said without yielding, "This matter has nothing to do with Scott in the first place! If Kachini wants to exchange talents with me, he just needs to make it clear to me."
He then said to the silent Cachini, "And although I didn't say it, I understand that the magical talent I exchanged for my musical talent may not necessarily be yours, Cachini."
“It’s mine.” Kacchini frowned and met Milton’s gaze. “My magical talent lies within you.”
Her tone was very certain.
Grapland then smiled and said to Milton, "Of course we made sure we checked before contacting you."
After she finished speaking, she asked Scott, "What's your answer, Scott? Would you like to talk to me alone?"
“Okay,” Scott agreed.
There was nothing wrong with talking to him alone, and he wasn't afraid that Grapland would make a move against him.
It's not that I believe she won't take action; it's that I'm confident in my own strength and methods.
“Scott!” Milton tried to dissuade him.
“It’s okay.” Scott smiled confidently at his three roommates. “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine.”
“Let’s go,” Kacchini said to the three boys. “Let’s go somewhere far away.”
With that, she walked directly to the side.
"Are you sure?" Eddie asked Scott again.
Scott nodded.
"OK then."
Eddie and Roger exchanged a glance, then pulled Milton away.
However, they didn't go very far, stopping within ten steps.
At this distance, they can provide reinforcements at any time.
Glapland also did not comment.
She said to Scott, "You set up the spell. To avoid any misunderstanding, I won't take out my wand."
Scott nodded slightly and casually set up a soundproof spell.
Then, without waiting for Grapland to speak first.
“Now we can talk alone, Miss Stephanie Grapland.” He used her real name directly, wanting to take some control of the conversation.
However, Grapland, whose real name had been called out, was not flustered. She just glanced at Scott with some surprise.
“Okay, looks like I need to reintroduce myself,” she said. “I’m Stephanie Grapland, a Ravenclaw graduate. Wilmina Grapland is my sister’s name.”
"What brings you to Hogwarts under the name of Miss Wilmina Glapland?" Scott asked.
Glapland said casually, "Dumbledore needed a teaching assistant for the Magical Creatures class, and Wilmina was busy studying the Horse Monster in Loch Ness, so I came."
Scott then asked, "So why not use your real name? It's not something to hide, is it?"
“Because Wilmina is more famous than me.” Grapland raised her pipe again and took a puff, the hazy smoke billowing from her full red lips. “Many wizards in the magical world know that she has studied magical creatures.”
Scott said calmly, "Judging from your performance in class, you're not bad either."
"Thank you," Grapland said with a smile.
Then, she said confidently, "My true identity doesn't matter. Even Dumbledore knows I'm not Wilmina. Besides, it's getting late. Let's hurry up and talk about something else."
“Go ahead and say it, I’m listening,” Scott said.
“It’s simple.” Grapland took a gold card out of his pocket and handed it to Scott. “I’m going to invite you to join our organization.”
Scott did not reach out to take it.
He looked into Grapland's eyes and deliberately asked her, "Dumbledore's Order of the Phoenix, Voldemort's Death Eaters, or Medea's Green Gown?"
“Neither.” Grapland still held out his hand. “By the way, the organization founded by Lady Slytherin is called the All Witches’ Guild.”
Scott then realized that the Green Robe Men actually had an official organization name.
But that wasn't the point at the moment. He said to Grapland, "Please introduce your organization, Miss Grapland, without knowing anything about it..."
He glanced at the gold card in her hand.
"...I wouldn't accept something like this so easily."
“Okay.” Grapland withdrew the hand that was holding the gold card and shrugged. “This really won’t work.”
Of course! I'm not an idiot!
Scott thought to himself.
“Well, well, this is a real hassle,” Grapland grumbled.
She put the gold card back in her pocket, then took out a roll of parchment, unfolded it, and shook it.
“Let me see.” She looked at the parchment in her hand. “Well, our organization is called the Scholars’ Union. It is the oldest existing magical society in Europe, and its members have always been wizards who are renowned in their respective fields.”
Scott looked at the witch in front of him with some surprise, who was clearly reciting from a script.
Is this so-called academic alliance short of people or does it simply lack prestige? Why would they send a witch who doesn't seem very reliable to recruit new members?
