Milton nodded. "Now that I've decided to get to the bottom of this, I'll go."

“I’ll go with you,” Scott said.

This whole affair seemed suspicious, and he was genuinely worried about letting Milton go to the appointment alone.

“Me too!” Eddie quickly said.

Milton wanted to say something, but under Scott's unquestionable gaze, he chose to remain silent.

"Thank you," he said gratefully.

During the afternoon Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Scott secretly observed Kacchini.

This girl has changed so much.

It was obvious that the other girls in her year at Hufflepuff liked to surround her, subtly taking her as their leader, and even vying to team up with her in dueling class.

And Caccini, like a true playboy, always handled these "jealousy and rivalry" scenes with ease.

The boys in her class couldn't help but look at her with envy.

In comparison, Roger, who has been single for quite some time, hardly deserves the title of "playboy".

"Do you think Kacchini is still herself?" he asked Milton softly.

Milton looked at him in surprise, seemingly not understanding why he would ask such a question.

Scott thought about it and realized that there didn't seem to be any legends about "possession" in the magical world.

But he still said it aloud, "What I mean is, is it possible that her body was taken over by another soul?"

"Does the magical world have this kind of magic? Dark magic that allows someone to possess another person's body?" Milton looked bewildered. "Besides, I'm pretty sure she's still her; I can tell from the music she's playing."

"That's good." Scott nodded gently.

Indeed, if wizards could truly possess bodies, Voldemort two years ago wouldn't have just been parasitizing Professor Quirrell's head.

That evening, Scott, exhausted after being defeated many times by Professor Flitwick's superb dueling skills, dragged his body back to his dormitory.

“Scott, you look more tired than I did after a Quidditch match.” Roger looked at Scott, who was sprawled on the bed. “Are you sure you can go with Milton to the appointment later?”

Eddie also said, "It would be better if Roger and I went with him."

“You should get some rest,” Milton said, looking at him with concern. “I’m only going to the appointment inside Hogwarts; I won’t encounter any danger.”

"At worst, I'll get caught by Filch and Mrs. Lorris, or by the professor on night patrol, and then get points deducted and put in solitary confinement," Eddie said with a laugh.

Scott shook his head, shifted his upper body, leaned against the stack of pillows, and took a bottle of potion from the shapeshifting lizard skin pouch at his waist and drank it down.

"It's alright." He put down the potion bottle and glanced at his pocket watch. "There are still two hours until midnight, enough time for me to recover."

After discussing it for a while, the four of them decided that the entire dormitory would participate this time.

Scott and Eddie were tasked with accompanying Milton to the appointment, while Roger, who didn't want to meet Cachini, was tasked with keeping watch outside the Classical Music Club's event room.

They left their dorm room around 11:30 and soon arrived at the foot of the Ravenclaw Tower.

"Is he alright?" Milton was still worried about Scott's condition.

“Of course I’m fine.” Scott shook his slightly sore arm.

His magic power has been restored, and his body is only a little sore, which has basically no impact on his combat ability.

"Don't speak, just follow me."

He was the first to leave the tower, expanding his magical perception to the maximum extent of his abilities.

The four of them made their way to the basement of the castle's main building without any obstacles.

Scott could sense that his roommates were a little nervous.

Especially when passing by Snape's office, the group tiptoed quickly, trying their best not to make a sound.

Everyone was terrified that the elusive Potions Professor would emerge from the darkness and spray them with poison.

After turning several corners in the pitch-black corridor, we finally arrived at the entrance to the activity room of the classical music club located near the abandoned dungeon.

At that moment, a strange whistling sound came from the wind blowing through the ventilation shaft above the abandoned dungeon.

The chains hanging in the abandoned dungeon made a continuous clanging sound. The sound wasn't loud, but it was exceptionally clear in the quiet of the night.

"Walk."

Scott walked to the door of the activity room first and pushed the huge wooden door.

Surprisingly, the door opened with a gentle push, and warm light shone through the crack in the door onto the stone slabs on the ground, stretching out long.

Faint piano music could be heard coming from the activity room.

Chapter 370 is a piano piece titled "Cachini".

"Go in."

Scott gripped his wand in one hand and pushed the door open completely with the other.

The piano sound became clearer.

Scott glanced back at Roger, then walked straight into the activity room.

The classical music club's activity room is very tall and spacious, with various musical instruments and chairs of different sizes scattered around, making it look somewhat cluttered.

creak.

Behind me, the door to the activity room was closed.

Scott turned his head and glanced at the door; it was Roger who closed it.

[How did you get in?]

Scott asked with his eyes.

I don't think we need someone to keep watch.

Roger answered with his eyes.

Scott gave him another disdainful look.

He didn't care whether Roger was afraid of the terrifying atmosphere of the abandoned dungeons outside the door, and turned to walk towards the direction of the piano music.

Scott and his group of four walked among the chairs, music stands, and various musical instruments until they saw the piano at the far end of the activity room.

It was a huge black piano, its gleaming surface shining brightly under the light of a dozen candles on a floor candle holder.

Caccini, dressed in a black men's suit, sat in front of the piano, his hands moving fluently across the keys.

The beautiful piano music flowed by like a stream.

Scott only glanced at Cachini, who was playing the piano, his gaze fixed on Miss Grapland standing beside the piano.

The teaching assistant leaned against the piano, her long, slender legs, clad in tight pants and over-the-knee boots, stretched out in a cross shape.

She held a pipe in her hand, puffing out smoke.

Upon seeing Scott and his group of four, a warm smile bloomed on her round face, and she casually waved.

Then, she gestured for the four boys to be quiet.

Scott nodded.

He and his roommates stood still, listening quietly as Caccini finished playing the piece.

Kacchini closed his eyes slightly, his expression serene, and his body swayed gently to the music.

The tinkling piano music stopped, and Caccini raised his hands, his movements frozen in place for a long while.

After a while, she finally opened her eyes.

"How about it?"

Her previously calm expression instantly transformed into the one Scott and his group had seen during the day, making her look like a rebellious boy.

She stood up, gently closed the piano lid, and stared at Milton, one of the four boys.

“This is a piece I composed myself,” she said with a smile. “What do you think, Milton?”

“This is the most beautiful new piece I’ve heard all year,” Milton praised sincerely.

“Yes, this is also my most satisfying work,” Caccini said without any modesty. “It is called ‘Caccini’.”

"Very beautiful, Cachini!" Grapland, still leaning against the piano, clapped softly.

Cachini thanked her and then asked Smilton, "What do you think, Milton?"

“Is its name ‘Cachini’?” Milton took a step forward. “This piece is about the former Cachini.”

Kacchini's cheerful smile paused for a moment, then quickly returned to its natural state.

“Yes, the former Caccini.” She walked over to Grapland and leaned against the piano as well. “I’m so glad you could recognize it, Milton. You’re truly remarkable.”

Milton stared straight at her, seemingly not understanding what she meant.

“I must thank you, Milton,” Caccini said. “Without your extraordinary musical talent, how could I have composed such a piece?”

“Thank you for the compliment,” Milton said.

Cachini laughed, and after laughing for a while, he continued, "Aren't you going to be a little humble, or say something to praise me for having musical talent?"

Milton fell silent.

“Alright, alright.” Kacchini smiled and shook his head. “I won’t make things difficult for you. We all know how talented you were originally, while I could never have written a piece of this caliber.”

Milton remained silent, seemingly tacitly agreeing with Cachini's words.

Of those present, only Miss Grapland seemed somewhat surprised; everyone else remained calm.

Milton is very serious about music and would never say anything against his conscience.

“I really admire your musical talent,” Caccini said to Milton as he approached him. “It allows me to express myself more freely, and I must say, it feels wonderful.”

Milton nodded.

Kacchini laughed again.

"But that's just how it is," she said with a sigh. "For me in the past, music was the most important thing; but for me now, talent is the most important thing."

As she spoke, she put her hand on Milton's shoulder.
