The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Luna nodded.
Now that Luna had signed the contract, Scott had no more reservations.
"The story begins with Jacob, who was in the same grade as you..."
Jacob's misfortune implicated Jasmine Travers.
The girl harbored ill will towards Scott and even conspired with the house-elf to murder him.
Jasmine Travers' death fueled Caitlin Raoul's hatred for him.
Later, the Yaxley family, wanting to take over the Travers estate, agreed to Jasmine Travers' father's request to take Scott's life.
As for Elijah Caro, his animosity towards Scott stemmed purely from Caitlin Roll.
Luna listened to Scott's story without interrupting him.
But her expression became bewildered again, and her eyes welled up with tears.
Scott realized that this was a stress response she had when she didn't know how to cope.
But he did not choose to avoid answering, nor did he conceal his long-standing murderous behavior.
He thought Luna would be scared and would then distance herself from him.
In this way, she could not tell anyone about his affairs, nor would she take the initiative to get involved in his business anymore.
This was the best outcome Scott could come up with on a whim.
In short, Scott recounted almost everything he had experienced over the past two years.
He didn't stop talking until the moon was high in the sky, and looked at Luna calmly.
Luna's small body trembled slightly, her expression was dazed, as if she were in a trance.
Scott remained silent, simply waiting.
After a long while, Luna finally came to her senses.
The smoke in her eyes cleared, her gaze refocused, and she looked at Scott.
Scott met her gaze calmly as usual.
"This is tiring," Luna said softly.
Upon hearing this, Scott instantly felt his facial expression uncontrollably stiffen.
Luna continued to stare intently at him.
She asked, "If you had made a different choice from the beginning, would you have been happier later?"
Scott thought for a moment, then shook his head somewhat stiffly.
“I don’t know,” he replied.
He didn't know what would have happened if he hadn't killed Jasmine Travers.
It might reduce a lot of trouble, just like Luna said, and make life happier.
There may be more trouble, because Jasmine Travers, though just a little girl, is an evil, eccentric, and paranoid witch.
The clever Luna could certainly have thought of this as well.
“I don’t agree with your choice, Scott. What you’re doing seems like an overreaction to me,” she said. “But who can say for sure that I’m the only one who’s right? Even I can’t say for sure.”
Hearing her words, Scott laughed. "Of course you can choose to live the way you want."
Luna asked, "So, does that mean you can stick to your own ideas?"
“I’ve always done it this way,” Scott said.
Luna nodded. "Me too."
At this point in their conversation, Luna smiled again, but quickly realized what was going on.
“I almost got convinced by you, Scott.” She looked up into Scott’s eyes. “But my father once told me that we shouldn’t only see the hurt and pain, and we shouldn’t easily touch hatred.”
Scott asked her, "Do you think I only see bad things?"
Luna shook her head. "No, I can see that there has always been love in your heart."
Scott said, "The difference between us is that your tolerance and love can be given to most people, but my tolerance and love can only be given to a very few people."
I never imagined I could describe "petty-mindedness" in such a refreshing and elegant way...
He was thinking to himself at the same time.
Luna seemed to have been persuaded by him once again.
“What’s wrong with that?” she said. “I’m the same way. I can’t love anyone more than I love my parents.”
After saying that, she suddenly shook her head.
“Oh… I’m a little confused, and I don’t know how to tell you my thoughts.” Her tone became uncertain again. “I’ve decided to wait until I’ve completely figured things out before I talk to you about them.”
With that, she turned around and left in a daze.
Scott stood still, watching her figure disappear into the flower bushes.
After a while, Scott prepared to leave the garden from another direction.
Scott passed several couples who were having dates in the garden, and then he ran into Grapland at the garden exit.
This time, instead of taking Thestrals for a walk, she took Hagrid's hound, Tooth, on a leash.
Good evening, Scott.
As Grapland spoke, he continued to puff out smoke and whimper, seemingly wanting to stay far away from her.
Good evening, Miss Glapland.
Scott stopped in his tracks.
Grapland's full red lips curled up slightly. "Is there anything you want to ask me, boy?"
Scott looked at her confident demeanor but didn't want her to become complacent.
"No." He shook his head directly.
Grapland merely glanced at her.
"It's alright," she said with a smile. "If you have any questions, feel free to come to me anytime."
“Really?” Scott laughed too.
“Of course.” Grapland nodded.
Scott took a step closer, crouched down, and touched the rough hair on Yaya's head.
“Although Tooth looks very fierce,” he said abruptly, “Professor Hagrid said that it is actually a useless coward.”
Grapland suddenly coughed, seemingly choked by her sage smoke.
She coughed for a while before asking in a cold voice, "What do you mean by this?"
"nothing."
Scott rubbed Ya Ya's head again and stood up.
He smiled and looked at Grapland, "I just suddenly remembered after seeing Tooth and said a few nonsense words."
"Is that so?" Glapland's smile became somewhat forced.
“Of course,” Scott replied.
Grapland spoke again, "Mr. B..."
Scott put his finger to his lips, making a shushing gesture to stop her from speaking.
"Shh." He still smiled. "I've already met with Mr. B."
Grapland blurted out in astonishment, "Impossible, you don't know who Mr. B is."
Scott said in a flat tone, "Mr. B isn't the only one in the Scholars' Union."
“You…” Glapland stared at Scott suspiciously, “Who did you contact?”
“That’s none of your business, Miss Grapland,” Scott began to feign nonchalance.
Grapland stared at him for a while, then said with certainty, "No, you're lying."
Scott smiled without saying a word.
Grapland, however, regained his composure.
“You are just a minor wizard. Without Mr. B’s guarantee, I would not be able to recruit you into the Scholars’ Union.”
“Aside from Mr. B and me, no one else in the Scholars’ Alliance has noticed you, a minor wizard, so you can’t come into contact with those people right now.”
Scott blinked.
"Thank you," he said gratefully. "Thank you for telling me two important pieces of information."
"What?" Glapland's face showed surprise again.
Is this woman really a Ravenclaw graduate?
Scott was somewhat skeptical.
He raised one finger.
"First, when I said I had met Mr. B, your reason for refuting that was quite interesting."
Glapland's expression changed again.
Scott shook his finger.
"You blurted out that you didn't know who Mr. B was, but you didn't say that I couldn't possibly meet him. What does that mean?"
"This means that, in your subconscious, I do indeed have the opportunity to meet Mr. B."
A look of regret had already appeared on Glapland's face.
Scott continued, "I think I did meet Mr. B on Friday, during my trip to the Ministry of Magic for that trial, didn't I?"
"So what?" Grapland managed to regain his composure. "You must have met a lot of people at the Ministry of Magic that day."
“That’s true.” Scott nodded, offering no further explanation.
