Seeing that Luna and Rimbaud were chatting enthusiastically, Scott did not stop them.

In his magical perception, there was no one else nearby, so he wasn't worried about Rimbaud, who could speak, being exposed.

Luna, always full of whimsical ideas, made Rimbaud very happy.

For example, she might ask, "Are you the king of the Raven Kingdom?"

Rimbaud was extremely pleased with himself when he heard this.

“You’re quite the talker, Luna,” it said, delighted but feigning modesty. “I’m certainly not a king; I merely own a territory and a thousand obedient crow subjects.”

Upon hearing this, Scott couldn't help but think to himself, "You've already used the word 'subjects,' and you still say you don't want to be king!"

Although Rimbaud was incredibly arrogant, Luna played along perfectly.

"Then I'll call you Lord!" she said enthusiastically. "Blackwing Lord, how about that?"

"Hehehehehe..."

Rimbaud couldn't help but let out an unpleasant laugh.

"You're too kind!" it said, feigning politeness. "But I like this title!"

Luna then earnestly discussed with Rimbaud how to expand its territory and power, striving to be promoted from lord to king as soon as possible.

Listening to the little girl and the raven's playful conversation, Scott couldn't help but smile, even though he didn't say anything.

When they finally arrived at their destination, Rimbaud and Luna had become good friends.

Scott took two glass bottles from the lizard skin bag and handed one to Luna.

"Be careful," he warned, "Dew that has come into contact with humans cannot be used."

Luna nodded seriously.

The two of them squatted down together and began to carefully collect the dew.

Since the dew cannot be touched, they use their hands to pinch the roots of the plant and shake it, allowing the dew to roll naturally into the bottle.

Since Scott needed dew from a place that hadn't seen sunlight for seven days, he needed a place where sunlight couldn't reach from any angle.

Although the forbidden forest is generally densely vegetated, such places are not easy to find, especially since they need to be places that no one has ever been to before.

Rimbaud and the crows searched for several days before finding this small patch of land that never sees sunlight during this season and is usually deserted.

Because the area was small, Scott and Luna spent the whole morning collecting only a little dew.

If you drink it all, it's only enough to moisten your lips.

Fortunately, Scott only needed a silver teaspoonful.

As Scott was leaving, he said to Rimbaud, "Have the crows keep watch here. We'll come back in seven days, and two more times should be enough."

"Hopefully the weather won't change," Luna said. "If it rains, the dew won't be usable, right?"

Scott nodded.

He didn't have any good solutions to this either.

The conditions required to learn Animagus are so complicated; that's why they say success requires a bit of luck.

Fortunately, he was lucky this time. He collected dew twice more and successfully collected all the dew he needed.

In short, Scott managed to get through this long month relatively smoothly.

The materials were prepared, and the mandrake leaf in his mouth remained intact.

With May 25th fast approaching, Scott was worried about something else.

He was worried about the weather on the day of the full moon.

This was yet another test of his luck—

He had to take the leaf out during the full moon, fill a small crystal vial with saliva, soak the leaf in it, and let it receive the pure moonlight.

If the night was overcast and there was no moonlight, he would have to find a new mandrake leaf and start over.

This also means that all his previous efforts will be in vain.

Scott certainly didn't want to see that happen.

But when the 25th arrived, Scott woke up in the morning and looked out at the continuous rain, and his heart sank.

But not long after, he suddenly had a flash of inspiration and quickly relaxed again.

"Oh no! It's raining!"

Just then, he heard Eddie's exclamation.

Scott's roommates also knew what he had been doing all this time, and when they saw the rain outside the window, their expressions changed as well.

"Scott..."

Milton called out to Scott.

He seemed to want to say something to comfort him, but didn't know what to say.

The dormitory was silent. Even Eddie, who was usually very talkative, seemed to be at a loss for words.

Roger got out of bed, walked over to Scott, and patted him on the shoulder.

Scott couldn't help but laugh when he saw that his roommates all looked even more disapproving than he did.

"Scott, what's wrong?" Roger, who was closest to him, looked at him in surprise. "Are you alright?"

Scott shook his head.

“Scott, don’t be sad, you…you’ll definitely succeed next time.” Eddie stammered, which was unusual for him. “This time…let it go.”

“Yes…yes,” Milton replied hesitantly.

“I’m fine,” Scott said softly.

He has now learned the technique of keeping his mouth as still as possible when speaking.

Roger glanced at him again and patted his shoulder hard once more.

“That’s right!” he said encouragingly, “It’s not time to give up yet!”

Milton's eyes lit up. "Maybe the rain will stop in a little while!"

"As long as we can see the full moon tonight!" Eddie gave a thumbs-up. "We can definitely do it!"

Seeing that they might misunderstand, Scott simply said, "It doesn't matter if the rain keeps falling. Even if it rains in the Scottish Highlands, it won't rain all over the UK."

Eddie immediately understood what he meant and blurted out, "Even if it rains all over Britain, it won't rain all over the world at once!"

Roger laughed too. "It may be a bit troublesome, but you'll be able to find a place with moonlight tonight."

Scott nodded in agreement.

He had just realized this, which is why he relaxed.

"Are you going to ask Professor Flitwick for help?" Milton asked.

Scott nodded again.

After carefully washing up and changing his clothes as always, he waved to his roommates and left the dormitory first.

When he arrived at the common room, he saw Luna, who was standing by the window watching the rain, run up to him.

She told Scott, "Even though it's raining at Hogwarts, you can find a place with moonlight."

“I know,” Scott said with a smile.

Luna smiled slightly, "Then I'm relieved."

After saying goodbye to her, Scott went directly to Professor Flitwick's office.

Without Scott saying a word, Professor Flitwick greeted him upon seeing him, saying, "Oh, Scott, I was just thinking about you."

He glanced at the rain outside the window, then smiled at Scott.

“I know you’ve already thought of that because you’re not too anxious,” he said. “If there’s no moonlight tonight, I’ll take you to a place where there is moonlight.”

“Thank you, Professor.” Scott bowed respectfully.

"Go ahead," Professor Flitwick said with a smile and a wave of his hand.

The rain never stopped.

During the first class in the morning, Professor McGonagall also approached Scott and specifically called him out of class.

She breathed a sigh of relief after Scott explained his plans.

She adjusted her glasses and said to Scott, "I always thought you would think of this, but I was also worried that you might not have, and that it would be a hasty abandonment of a month's effort."

Scott's good luck seemed to have run out, as the rain continued into the night.

After dinner, Professor Flitwick came to see him.

“I asked, and it’s not raining in London today,” he told Scott. “Let’s go there first.”

Scott, of course, had no objection.

Afterwards, they went through the fireplace in Professor McGonagall's office to the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley.

"It's been a long time, Professor Flitwick!" the bar owner greeted Professor Flitwick warmly. "Would you like a drink?"

“No, Tom, I have other things to do,” Professor Flitwick said.

He led Scott through the crowd, nodding occasionally in response to greetings from others, and then extended his hand to Scott after they left the bar.

He said, "Come on, it's too noisy here. I'll take you to a quieter place."

Scott grasped Professor Flitwick's hand and was apparated by the professor into a forest.

“Right here.” Professor Flitwick released his grip and stepped aside, gesturing for him to begin. “You know how to do it.”

Scott nodded, took a small crystal vial from his pocket, and began collecting his saliva.

After a considerable amount of time, when the bottle was more than half full of saliva, he finally stopped, then took out the mandrake leaf that he had been holding in his mouth for a month and soaked it in his saliva.

When the leaf finally left his mouth, he couldn't help but breathe a huge sigh of relief, opening his mouth and moving his jaw in a few exaggerated movements.

After experiencing the complete freedom of his mouth, he raised the small medicine bottle and let it bask in the moonlight, receiving the pure moonlight.

Not long after, the somewhat disgusting salivary bubble leaves in the bottle underwent some subtle changes—
