"This set of magical runes exists to realize the specific illusion you see. Most of the runes in it exist to represent those things in the illusion."

Scott was somewhat disappointed upon hearing this.

He understood.

He must learn most of the ancient magic runes to an extremely profound level, and then combine them at will with the magic runes in this set of magic rune circuits that create illusions, in order to create different illusions at will.

But that's too complicated.

If even one spell is wrong, the illusion will look very fake.

Unless his brain becomes a supercomputer, it's more or less the case.

But the disappointment was short-lived; Scott quickly shook off the feeling and rallied.

He said, "Even so, my ideas are still very valuable for research. Even just storing a few simple illusions would be a great gain."

For example, a pure black illusion can be used as a means of blinding, which should be quite effective in battle.

For example, creating a crow-themed illusion and combining it with a real crow flock can create some interesting effects.

Of course, there are many other interesting uses as well.

Scott suddenly had a brilliant idea.

“It seems your brain hasn’t stopped working.” Ravenclaw smiled slightly. “Then, let’s begin targeted instruction. Once you’ve mastered this set of rune circuits, you can try creating simpler illusions on your own.”

Scott sat down with great enthusiasm and took out his pen and notebook.

No matter how many interesting ideas pop into his head, he must first study diligently before he can realize them.

Scott, feeling a bit dizzy from studying, didn't leave the Room of Requirement until dinner time.

Scott, who hadn't eaten lunch, ate a big meal to fill his stomach.

After dinner, he went to Professor Flitwick's office again.

"Please have a seat."

Professor Flitwick is grading student assignments.

Scott sat down on the sofa next to his desk.

Professor Flitwick placed the quill in his hand into the ink bottle.

Then, the wooden office chair he was sitting on started to move.

The chair's four legs moved nimbly, turning him to face Scott.

At the same time, the teapot and teacups on the table began to move on their own, pouring hot tea for Scott and himself.

Professor Flitwick picked up his teacup. "I called you here to talk about the Triwizard Tournament."

“I already know some things about the Goblet of Fire,” Scott said.

“Oh! As I thought! You do have aspirations to become a champion! Don’t you?” Professor Flitwick said excitedly. “Yes! Of course I would like to see a champion from Ravenclaw represent Hogwarts in the competition!”

Scott laughed. "Since you say so, it seems that even if I haven't reached the required age, I still have a chance. So, I will try my best."

Professor Flitwick said, "Oh, to be fair, I can't tell you too much. But I do want to tell you that there are ways to overcome the age restrictions."

"Thank you for telling me this."

"Of course, of course, I can't say any more. The rest depends on your own performance."

And so, Scott bid farewell to Professor Flitwick in high spirits.

"Except your weapons!"

After walking through several corridors, a red light flashed at the corner.

A magic wand flew over and Scott caught it.

Scott casually sensed the magic wand in his hand and walked around the corner.

"Hawthorn wood, usually paired with unicorn hair, is suitable for wizards with complex natures. It seems this is your wand, Malfoy."

He smiled slightly and waved his wand at Malfoy, who was confronting Harry and the others.

Harry, Ron, and the others were all pointing their wands at Malfoy and his henchmen. Even Hermione, who was usually calmer than Harry and Ron, was now like an enraged lioness.

Malfoy's two burly henchmen, who had been pointing their wands at Harry and his friends, immediately turned around after hearing Scott speak.

But the moment they saw who it was, their expressions changed, and they quickly lowered their hands from holding the wands.

Draco Malfoy's companion, Parkinson, was not as afraid as they were.

“Give the wand back to Draco, Trolop,” she said.

“Don’t give it to him, Scott,” Ron said immediately. “That bastard needs to be punished!”

Scott stood still.

“What happened?” he asked.

“We heard him spouting nonsense,” Hermione said.

Harry gritted his teeth. "They're insulting Dumbledore! Everyone knows those are damn rumors in the newspapers!"

"Who knows?"

Malfoy suddenly chuckled.

He looked somewhat haggard and thin, but his eyes were very bright.

He had initially been somewhat afraid of Scott's arrival, but suddenly he acted as if he didn't care at all.

He raised his chin, his face displaying his usual arrogance. "Do you know Dumbledore well?"

“Of course!” Ron answered without hesitation. “Everyone agrees that Dumbledore is the greatest wizard of this century!”

Malfoy chuckled dismissively. "Of course I know. Weasley, your whole family would love to kneel down and lick Dumbledore's toes."

Ron's cheeks turned red with anger, and his nostrils flared.

Harry suddenly laughed. "You've described it vividly, Draco. Looks like your whole family has spent quite a bit of time licking Voldemort's filthy toes! Oh, and I remember he didn't wear shoes!"

Now, Malfoy's pale face turned bright red with anger.

"Oh, and you guys too!" Ron said smugly. "Goyle, Crabbe, Parkinson, you've all licked them, haven't you!"

"Alright, everyone stop."

Scott stopped them before they could bring themselves to fight.

“As long as I’m here, you won’t be able to fight.” He tossed Malfoy’s wand to him. “While I won’t attack first, I can stop you. You know I can do it.”

With a gloomy expression, Malfoy reached out and took the wand, then turned and left without a word.

Gore, Crabbe, and Parkinson quickly followed behind him.

Watching the four men's retreating figures, Ron deliberately shouted, "Oh! Scott! You should teach them a lesson!"

Scott shrugged. "No, I still want to go to Beauxbatons."

“Alright.” Ron slumped his shoulders. “If Professor McGonagall finds out, you won’t be able to go.”

"And you?" Scott didn't bring up the earlier conflict again. "Have you collected all your recommendation letters?"

The three of them shook their heads in disappointment.

“Professor McGonagall said that opportunities will still tend to be given to older students,” Hermione said, somewhat unconvinced.

“It’s fine if I don’t go,” Harry said. “I don’t really want to interact with a lot of strangers who are curious about me. They’ll be curious about the scar on my head and look at me like I’m visiting a zoo.”

“Oh, I’m sorry, I was…” Ron awkwardly touched his nose.

“It’s nothing. I can accept it if it’s just you.” Harry laughed. “But there are always too many curious people.”

Scott could tell that Harry was being somewhat insincere.

After all, who in the entire Hogwarts community wouldn't want to go to Beauxbatons for some excitement?

But Scott did not expose his self-comfort.

“You don’t need to be too disappointed,” he said, announcing, “I will be in charge of broadcasting the Triwizard Tournament live, while Fred and George will be in charge of the Hogwarts segment.”

"Live broadcast?" Harry's eyes widened.

Hermione exclaimed in surprise, "How is that possible? Hogwarts doesn't have televisions!"

Only Ron was confused, asking, "What's a live stream?"

"In short, I've built a device that can stream remotely. If you want to know more, just ask Fred and George."

Scott offered no further explanation, simply waved, and left.

Perhaps I should contact some new friends.

Back in his dormitory, he took out the Book of Prometheus and sent a letter to his new friend Lucio in Beauxbatons, telling him that he would be visiting Beauxbatons with the Hogwarts delegation on the last day of October.

Lucio replied quickly.

[Oh, welcome to Beauxbatons, Scott! I have some new alchemical creations I'd like to share with you! You'll be amazed, I promise!]

Lucio didn't seem to care much about the Triwizard Tournament, his mind still preoccupied with alchemy.

Chapter 455 reveals the list of 25 people.

On the morning of October 2nd, the latest news published in the Daily Prophet sparked heated discussions among everyone.

Minister for Magic Amelia Susan Bornes delivers her inaugural address: A determined fight against all dark forces!

Scott read the report quickly.

Ms. Burns' inaugural address can almost be seen as a declaration of war against Voldemort and the Death Eaters.

This woman continued her uncompromising stance when she was the Director of the Enforcement Division, forcefully expressing her determination to resolutely crack down on the forces of darkness.

"What do you think?" Eddie asked, turning his head.

Milton said, “That’s certainly good. I mean, Minister Burns’ attitude gives people hope. You know, ever since the Mystic made his public appearance, many wizards have been shrouded in despair.”

Luna looked at Ms. Burns, who had a serious expression in the photo.

“Oh, she’s very assertive,” she said. “Perhaps she should be more careful about her safety.”
