The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Scott let Edgar fly a few more times until its body temperature dropped, then put it back in his pocket and left the valley.
He missed Hogwarts a little; Beauxbatons was, after all, someone else's territory, and it wasn't convenient to do anything there.
When he returned to the tower, Fred and Roger had already returned to their dormitory.
"Are you done with your date?" Scott asked.
"It's not us dating, it's me dating Angelina!" Fred retorted loudly. "As for Roger, maybe it's with his third French girlfriend!"
“He’s the fourth one,” Roger reminded him.
"Who cares!"
Scott shrugged, walked to his desk, sat down, took out the piece of metal splattered with salamander blood, and prepared to continue working on the unfinished dagger.
Chapter 476 Dumbledore's Frank Confession
"As we enter April, the weather is gradually warming up."
"The people of Beauxbatons have shed their heavy sweaters and cloaks and put on light spring clothes."
"With the arrival of warm spring comes budding love."
"It could be a sequel to the Christmas ball, or it could be that the girls are dressed up even more beautifully."
"Walking around the Beauxbatons campus, Scott noticed that there were even more couples around him now."
"However, all romance seems destined to be irrelevant to him..."
"Shut up, Fred."
Scott turned to look at Fred.
The kid kept rambling on and on behind him, pretending to be a narrator.
"Aren't you getting a little too cocky lately, ever since Angelina agreed to be your girlfriend?" Scott said helplessly.
"Really?" Fred shrugged. "Sorry, I was just speaking from the heart."
"..."
Scott glanced again at Cedric, who was smirking, said nothing more, and turned to walk forward.
“Seriously, Scott.”
Fred ran to Scott and put his arm around his neck.
"During the summer vacation, I thought Luna was already your girlfriend. Didn't you even visit Lovegood's house?"
“Luna and I are friends,” Scott said.
“That’s true.” Fred nodded. “Luna and Ginny are about the same age, so you might have to wait a while.”
Scott rolled his eyes, turned to look at him, and said deliberately, "Really? How about I go after Ginny?"
Fred wasn't angry, he just chuckled and said, "I have no objection, but I have to remind you... oh, you should have already figured it out, Ginny is infatuated with Harry."
"..."
Scott had nothing to say.
"Okay, I was just worried about you, buddy."
Fred patted Scott on the shoulder again and said earnestly.
"Your tone is a bit affected," Scott commented expressionlessly.
Fred pretended not to hear.
“Since Christmas, you’ve rejected several girls’ advances, oh, Cedric too.”
He glanced at Cedric beside him, then looked at Scott.
"Cedric rejected those girls because he already had a beautiful girlfriend, Cho..."
Upon hearing this, Cedric smiled reservedly.
Fred stared at Scott and asked, "...Why?"
“Because I’m about to die,” Scott said irritably.
"Oh, Merlin's socks, is that real?"
Fred immediately began acting.
"What on earth happened, man?!"
His face displayed an exaggerated expression of pain, and his voice grew louder and louder.
"I had no idea..."
Scott couldn't help but feel regret.
They were in a corridor of Beauxbatons Castle.
This is the only way to the Duran Alchemy Classroom, and of course, there are many Beauxbatons students around.
At this moment, all the students, regardless of which direction they were walking, stopped and turned to look at the three of them.
"Shut up, we're going to be late."
Scott wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"Do not……"
But with an audience present, Fred, even more engrossed in his performance, reached out and grabbed his arm.
"You haven't finished being a virgin yet... um..."
Scott quickly covered his mouth with his hand, then said to Cedric, "If you don't want to lose face, come and help."
Cedric nodded quickly, and the two of them dragged the dramatic, over-the-top guy away until they entered the Duran Alchemy Classroom.
Fred was still muttering to himself, "Oh, I was just worried about you. You can't let your friend down, Scott..."
Scott ignored him.
He knew very well that Fred's good intentions were at most one-third, and the majority was just to tease him.
Scott has thought about love at times.
But since he had never truly fallen for anyone, and also because of a major matter weighing on his mind, he stopped thinking about it.
Although the prophecy about Salazar Slytherin had not shown much of a trace, he could not pretend it did not exist.
Scott had no idea what his fate would be, and he had no interest in thinking about anything else.
This academic year, his active participation in the Triwizard Tournament and his becoming a warrior were all motivated by a desire to change his environment and relax.
Having already forged his own magical path, he no longer really needs to attend classes in a structured manner.
Even the Ravenclaw tutor no longer needed to teach him step by step; he only needed to answer his questions.
This means he doesn't have to stay at Hogwarts all the time.
His Ravenclaw tutor also agreed to his coming, rather than continuing his research in seclusion.
He did gain something from participating in the Triwizard Tournament; at the very least, he laid a solid foundation in alchemy.
Thank you, Professor Duran...
Scott looked at Professor Durand, who was walking into the classroom.
Professor Durand was a plump, kind old man, much older than Professor Russell.
While his achievements in alchemy may not have matched those of Professor Russell, he was clearly more adept at basic education.
"Good morning, let's begin roll call..."
Professor Duran quickly took out the attendance list and completed the roll call process, then pulled out his wand and tapped the blackboard.
A beautiful sun pattern appeared on the blackboard.
"We all know that the earliest alchemy was developed because people tried to turn all things into gold."
"No one has been able to do this except for Nicolas Flamel, who successfully forged the Philosopher's Stone."
"In alchemical symbols, the sun represents gold, which was later simplified to..."
He then pointed to the blackboard, and a simplified symbol appeared next to the sun: a circle with a dot in the middle.
"This is the system of symbols that Dalton published in 1808..."
Professor Duran first led them through a review of the development of alchemical symbols, and then explained the experimental formulas for the conversion of two metals.
Soon, they began the process of putting it into practice.
In the basic alchemy course, they used common metals for their experiments, which didn't cost much, so Scott could afford it with the little money he had left.
Of course, with Professor Russell's help, his self-study progress was relatively fast, much faster than the progress in Duran's alchemy classroom.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have spent most of his savings on alchemy experiments.
Even so, Scott did not slack off in Professor Duran's class.
This is a process of identifying and addressing shortcomings, as well as consolidating the foundation.
After the morning alchemy class, Scott preemptively waved his wand at Fred.
He threatened, "I'm thinking, should I use a permanent seal to glue your mouth shut, or put a big stick in your front teeth so you can't speak properly?"
Fred quickly covered his mouth.
“Let’s go, let’s go to our Transfiguration class,” Scott said to Cedric.
The two walked a few steps forward, and Fred quickly caught up.
"You know what? I've decided to propose to Angelina right after I graduate from Hogwarts."
He started taking a sarcastic and unsettling approach.
"Oh, Scott, you have to be our best man when we get married..."
Scott pretended not to hear.
In the Transfiguration class, Professor Baptiste, who was in charge of the course, patiently had Scott demonstrate.
