The professor started doing this ever since Scott showed his talent in the championship.

He even asked Scott to talk about Hogwarts' Transfiguration class on several occasions.

He wanted to know how it differed from Beauxbatons' courses, and how Professor McGonagall taught.

He might be expressing his admiration for Scott, or he might be somewhat resentful of Professor McGonagall, but this annoyed Scott to no end.

The Beauxbatons students in the same class didn't like it either, thinking Scott was too fond of showing off his talents.

"I must choose new courses!"

After the morning classes ended, Scott said to his classmates.

He couldn't take it anymore.

Professor Baptiste wasn't the only one teaching Transfiguration at Beauxbatons; his guests were free to take the course.

Regardless, Scott was somewhat annoyed by being called on repeatedly in class.

Fortunately, the afternoon classes went smoothly.

After a full day of classes, Scott and his companions returned to the towers of Hogwarts.

After dinner, Scott's Magic Mirror received a message from William.

This surprised Scott.

William hadn't contacted him for a long time.

He quickly opened the message.

[I think I've found the location. Someone has been spotted at Edinburgh Castle; there might be a secret room there.]

Although the information was vague, Scott quickly understood it.

William discovered that members of the All Witchcraft Society were frequenting Edinburgh Castle, leading him to deduce that Medea might be sleeping there.

Based on Medea's past occupation of Edinburgh Castle, she may have built a secret chamber there.

[Received, please be careful.]

Scott replied.

William immediately sent another message.

[This is just speculation; I haven't checked.]

After posting this message, Scott got up and left the dorm room.

He climbed the spiral staircase to the top floor of the tower and gently knocked on the door.

The door opened.

"Oh, Scott, come in, what can I do for you?"

Dumbledore was sitting alone by the window, drinking tea.

Good evening, Professor.

Scott went inside and closed the door behind him.

"William has sent a message."

He went to Dumbledore and showed him his conversation with William.

"Lady Slytherin?"

Dumbledore pondered for a moment.

“I have examined all the secret rooms at Hogwarts, including the one belonging to Lady Slytherin.”

Scott said, "Maybe it's because I knew about the Chamber of Secrets that she wouldn't hide in Hogwarts."

But this also shows Dumbledore's caution; he never imagined that Medea would hide away at Hogwarts.

However, he was still very surprised that Dumbledore was able to enter that secret room.

Does that mean...?

That secret room contains a lot of magical research materials left by Slytherin and his daughter.

Dumbledore could tell what Scott was thinking.

"Although I can't get into that secret room, and even ghosts can't get in, Peeves can."

Scott said, "He can..."

“Unfortunately, he cannot take anything out,” Dumbledore said.

“Can’t we break down the door to that secret room?” Scott asked. “If we could get our hands on what’s inside, maybe we could figure out more about Slytherin and Medea’s secrets.”

Dumbledore shook his head.

"I judge that it's not worth it."

"That secret room was built in an extremely ingenious way; it was itself an important node in the magical cycle inside Hogwarts Castle."

“Violent destruction can cause serious damage to a castle, and it takes a long time to repair.”

"We cannot take risks at this time."

Scott asked regretfully, "Even the Ravenclaw instructors can't do anything about it?"

Dumbledore shook his head again.

"Ms. Ravenclaw is no longer alive; all that remains is her magical portrait."

"Scott, a portrait is just a portrait; there are many things that a portrait cannot do."

“I understand.” Scott found it difficult to say anything more.

Under Voldemort's threat, it was indeed unwise to risk the magical cycle within the castle, as it concerned the castle's protective magic.

Dumbledore pointed to the Magic Mirror in Scott's hand.

"If I remember correctly, Edinburgh has already officially returned to the jurisdiction of the Muggle government."

Scott nodded.

Dumbledore said, "I will have someone verify it and find out if there really are wizards from the All Witchcraft Society there."

Scott asked, "Are you worried about William...?"

He understood what Dumbledore meant; the message William sent might not be true.

He might not genuinely want to side with them, or he might be being manipulated.

Dumbledore nodded. "It's always better to be careful."

“You’re right,” Scott said. “Well, there’s a risk of danger in exploring, so there’s no need to send anyone. Leave it to me.”

Dumbledore looked up at him and nodded slightly.

"Your Transfiguration creation?" He agreed with Scott's suggestion. "That is indeed the safest method."

He then told Scott about some of the All Witchcraft's recent activities.

"They've been helping out lately, and they've been very active in dealing with Voldemort's henchmen."

Scott wondered, "Could it be that only Voldemort's death can completely lift the curse he placed on Medea?"

“That’s my guess too,” Dumbledore said.

“But Voldemort hasn’t shown his face since,” Scott said. “Oh, was he the one who orchestrated Harry’s attack by Warrington?”

“It’s definitely related to him, but that’s what I want to see.”

Dumbledore made a startling statement.

He poured Scott a cup of tea and asked him to sit down.

Scott sat down on the sofa opposite him, looking at him in surprise.

"Don't be surprised, Scott. I know you. You have magic and maturity beyond your years. Sometimes, I don't have to treat you like a child."

Dumbledore winked mischievously.

"You once helped Voldemort use arithmetic divination to predict his Horcruxes."

When it came to serious matters, he quickly became serious again.

"I think you may have already guessed that it was an unexpected Horcrux that even Voldemort himself didn't know about."

Having said that, Scott didn't hide anything anymore, "Is it Harry?"

Dumbledore nodded heavily.

"On the night Voldemort failed last time, his Killing Curse was reflected back."

"Because Harry's mother sacrificed herself to cast a spell to protect Harry from harm, the rebounding Death Curse annihilated Voldemort."

"Even he himself didn't know that a small part of his soul was now attached to Harry."

"This is the real reason why Harry and Voldemort are connected."

"Can't we take it off?" Scott asked softly.

Dumbledore shook his head.

"As Harry grew up, their souls merged together, and even I couldn't stop them."

Scott then asked, "So how did Voldemort manage to have Harry's blood stolen?"

Dumbledore patiently answered his question.

"It was also because of the magic that Harry's mother, Lily Potter, cast before she died. That protective magic was very powerful. With it, Voldemort could not touch Harry or harm him."

"Voldemort had never known why he failed, but he confirmed it himself during the Quidditch World Cup, and he wanted to use Harry's blood to solve the problem."

Scott continued curiously, "You mean, this is what you wanted to see?"

Dumbledore nodded.

"What Voldemort didn't know was that when he let Harry's blood into his body, the protective magic left by Lily would also affect him."
