The light of the spell instantly illuminated the entire dormitory room.

When the light went out, Professor Moody was taken back to the headmaster's office by the house-elf.

"Is it fixed now?" Sirius asked. "You didn't even check it."

“Don’t doubt my judgment.” Professor Moody sat down directly.

"Trust Alastor," Shakel said. "He's probably the most cautious one among us."

“You’re right.” Sirius Black no longer questioned.

He looked at another monitor screen and said sarcastically, "Oh, my lovely nephew and his friends have appeared."

Everyone saw four figures draped in black cloaks appear in the room on the old rooftop.

“He really didn’t learn any of his father’s shrewdness,” Sirius added. “And of course, he didn’t learn his mother’s caution either.”

Dumbledore said, "Don't worry, the boy has been punished for his bad deeds, and he hasn't done anything truly evil. We will try our best to keep those things from affecting him."

“I don’t care about him,” Sirius said stubbornly. “He’s a Malfoy, and he’s been corrupted by Lucius.”

Dumbledore maintained his smile and did not refute his words.

In the surveillance footage, Malfoy Jr. begins inspecting the vanishing cabinet again.

Then, to his surprise, he discovered that the vanishing cabinet seemed to have actually been repaired.

He exclaimed excitedly, "We did it!"

His friends were also very excited.

"Great, Draco!"

"You're amazing!"

"This will be a fantastic surprise!" Malfoy exclaimed, barely able to contain his joy. "We'll definitely be rewarded!"

"Let's go back quickly."

"Tell the Dark Lord this good news."

As they spoke, the two chubby guys tried to lift the vanishing cabinet.

"and many more."

Malfoy Jr. stopped them.

"What's wrong, Draco?"

“I just did an experiment with an apple,” said Malfoy. “We need to do more experiments.”

“You’re right, Draco, we must make sure it really works before we tell the Dark Lord,” Parkinson said admiringly.

"That's it."

Young Malfoy looked left and right.

“It’s you, Gregory,” he said to Goyle. “You’re a bit thinner than Vincent. You try climbing in first.”

"I?"

Gore was clearly hesitant.

He glanced at Parkinson and said, "Pansy is the thinnest one, let her go."

"Just go when I tell you to. Do you want to disobey Draco?"

Parkinson angrily kicked him.

"But...but..."

Gore clearly still didn't dare.

"Okay, let's try it with small animals first."

Malfoy said helplessly.

"Gregory will go in after confirming that the small animal is safe."

"Okay!" Gore happily agreed.

"I'm going to catch some small animals!"

Crabbe cleverly Apparated away.

In the principal's office, everyone was staring at the surveillance footage, and no one spoke for the time being.

More than ten minutes later, Crabbe returned to the scene carrying a rabbit.

“I caught him in a Muggle’s yard,” he said happily. “Those Muggles didn’t notice me!”

"Well done, Vincent."

Malfoy praised him, then took the rabbit and tossed it into the vanishing cabinet.

"Disappeared!"

Gore and Crabbe shouted together.

Young Malfoy nodded and instructed Goyle, "Now you climb in and bring that rabbit back."

"Okay... okay."

Reluctantly, Gore lay down and crawled into the vanishing cabinet.

Next, Scott saw Goyle's upper body appear in the Slytherin dormitory.

He crawled out from under the bed, his face beaming with excitement, and with some effort, clumsily caught the rabbit.

Then, he hugged the rabbit and crawled into the disappearing cabinet under the bed.

"Success!"

Inside the old house, Gore poked his head out of the vanishing cabinet and shouted.

"When I got to that dormitory room, no one was living there yet."

"Excellent!" Malfoy exclaimed, unable to contain his excitement. "Now we can report this definite news to the Dark Lord!"

Parkinson screamed, "I knew it would go smoothly!"

"Oh..." Gore cried, "I'm stuck! Help me out!"

Parkinson yelled, "Let go of that rabbit, you idiot! You've crushed it to death!"

Crabbe helped pull Goyle out of the cupboard.

Goyle threw away the dead rabbit in his hand and, together with Crabbe, lifted up the Vanishing Cabinet.

"Let's go, be careful and follow."

As he spoke, Malfoy Apparated away, with Parkinson close behind.

Gore and Crabbe, carrying the Vanishing Cabinet, were a step too slow and hurriedly and somewhat clumsily used Apparition to leave.

Perhaps because they were carrying the Vanishing Cabinet, their Apparitions went slightly wrong.

A cry of pain and a pool of blood were left behind.

Mr. Weasley exclaimed, "It's split up?"

Professor Moody said, "They were lucky; they were only injured and didn't lose any limbs."

Sirius stood up and said impatiently, "Now, let's move the Vanishing Cabinet to another place."

“No need to rush.” Dumbledore shook his head. “Voldemort won’t easily believe what those children say. He will have them verify it again.”

"But if it's an adult wizard coming, the Slytherin students could be in danger," Shackle said.

“Don’t worry.” Sirius sat down again. “The Death Eaters won’t harm Slytherin students; they’re all family.”

Shackle disagreed, saying, "Although the number is small, Slytherin House also has some mixed-race children."

“They won’t act rashly; that would certainly raise our suspicions,” Professor Moody said.

Dumbledore said, "Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on things."

Sirius Black was somewhat excited. "It seems that once Voldemort sends someone to verify this, it will be time for us to take action."

“Not so fast,” Dumbledore added. “To ensure success, Voldemort will be prepared, and we are not in a hurry.”

Sirius laughed. "Anyway, we'll give them a surprise before they're ready."

Chapter 524 The Temporarily Changed Plan

In the principal's office, everyone waited for a while longer, but there was still no new movement on the surveillance footage.

“Oh, it’s already very late,” Sirius said. “Those kids probably wouldn’t dare to bother the mysterious man.”

Moody said, "Let's call it a day and talk about it tomorrow."

Everyone else stood up.

“I will keep an eye on it,” Dumbledore said.

“Let me keep an eye on things,” Professor Moody said. “At least I’m younger than you.”

"Oh, thank you, Alastor, but no need, older people don't need much sleep."

"Then I'll head back to my dorm, Professor Dumbledore. Please leave the Magic Mirror here."

Scott said something, said goodbye to the others, and then left the principal's office.

Back in his dorm room, his roommates were already asleep. Scott quietly finished washing up, went to bed, and quickly drifted off to sleep.

The next day passed peacefully, and Scott received no further messages.

Instead, the members of "Tower of Babel" asked him about the development of the situation, and Scott told them what he had seen last night, satisfying their curiosity.

"You will get involved."

Luna looked at Scott.

“I’ll help,” Scott said, “but I’m not sure if I’ll get involved myself.”

Luna's voice was ethereal, "Perhaps the outcome will be somewhat unexpected."
