"Expelliarmus!"
A dazzling red light shot out from the tip of Snape's wand, striking Lockhart first.
Lockhart's expression was blank.
His wand flew out of his hand instantly, and his body flew backward, over the stage, and crashed into the wall.
Then--
"...He slid down like a chocolate frog that had been slapped against a wall, and curled up on the floor like a pheromone caterpillar that had been squeezed dry!"

Chapter 084 Duel Club, in progress
Seeing Snape win with a single blow, the Slytherins began to applaud and cheer.
The group of "Lockhart girls" covered their mouths, looking at Lockhart on the ground with concern, while some even scrambled to pick up his wand.
Lockhart stubbornly stood up; his hat was gone, and his blond curly hair stood on end.
"Okay, did everyone see that?"
He adjusted his facial expression and staggered back onto the stage.
At the same time, he began to loudly explain what had just happened.
“Professor Snape cast a disarming spell… that took my wand from me… Oh, thank you, good girl.”
He reached out and took his wand from a girl.
Watching this scene, Scott couldn't help but admire Lockhart—
Top-notch facial expression control, a heartfelt love for acting, and the determination to never leave the stage lightly...
If those idol stars in their past lives had the same spirit as Lockhart, they wouldn't have been criticized for their poor professional skills.
On stage, Lockhart had already turned to look at Snape.
He said, deliberately in a teasing tone, "Oh, Professor Snape. I must commend you, demonstrating this spell was indeed a good idea. But... please don't mind me saying that..."
He twirled his wand in several different ways.
"Your intention in pulling that move was quite obvious. I mean... I could easily stop you. But I think, to broaden the students' horizons, we should let them see it..."
But Snape was clearly unimpressed by his boastful performance and just stared at him coldly.
It wasn't until Lockhart showed an embarrassed expression again that Snape lifted his robes, turned around, and looked at the students again.
“Next, you can give it a try.” His gaze swept across the crowd. “You can form your own groups, and of course, I will offer suggestions.”
“I’ll help too,” Lockhart said quickly.
Next, the two professors began to move through the crowd.
Scott looked at his roommates.
However, the three guys immediately turned away from him and quickly found practice partners.
"..."
Scott cursed under his breath and continued to look at the rest of the Ravenclaws.
No one else knew him as well as his roommates, so he quickly found someone to practice with.
Ethan Cooper, the fifth-grade prefect.
“Are you sure you want to challenge me, Scott?” Ethan asked, somewhat surprised. “I mean, I’m in fifth grade.”
“It’s just practice,” Scott said calmly.
“Alright.” Ethan then looked at Rimbaud on Scott’s shoulder. “But… are you going to bring your pet to the duel?”
Scott turned to look at Rimbaud.
He was not prepared to reveal the truth about Rimbaud in public.
“Go, Rimbaud, back to your dorm,” Scott said softly.
Lambo cawed twice, nuzzled his face, and then spread his wings and flew away.
Ethan nodded in satisfaction.
Neither Snape nor Lockhart offered any comments on Scott and Ethan's pairing.
Snape merely interfered with some of Gryffindor's choices.
For example, pairing Harry and Malfoy, these two sworn enemies who hate each other, together.
Once everyone had been divided into groups, Snape returned to the stage.
“Now, face your opponents,” he commanded, “bow.”
Scott and Ethan did as instructed.
"Raise your wands, get ready," said Snape. "On the count of three, begin to move."
Scott raised his wand.
"one two three."
"Avoid your weapons."
Ethan's wand shot out a beam of red light.
Scott took a step back, simultaneously untied his cloak and tossed it into the air, then cast a transformation spell on it.
Ethan's disarming spell struck the cloak with a crisp clanging sound.
The once soft cloak had become stiff and reflected a metallic sheen under the red light.
While Ethan was still in shock, Scott cast another Transfiguration spell.
The cloak, now made of metal, underwent another transformation.
It flowed through the air like water, forming the shape of a monster that lunged at Ethan with bared teeth and claws.
Ethan, who was able to become a prefect, was also an excellent student. He quickly composed himself and cast an Ironclad Charm.
"Protego!"
But he miscalculated this time.
The "monster" smoothly bypassed the invisible wall formed by the Ironclad Curse and wrapped itself around him.
"I didn't expect this..."
Trapped, Ethan stared at Scott in surprise, as if he didn't recognize him.
"Although I had heard that you were a genius at Transfiguration, I never expected you could do it to this extent."
Scott understood what he meant.
First change the material, then change the shape and mode of action.
This is the combined application of two transformation spells.
Those who understand will know that this is much more difficult than simply using a Transfiguration spell.
"It was your carelessness."
Scott smiled amicably and waved his wand again.
The "monster" wrapped around Ethan began to move again.
It shot back from the sky like a black stream of water behind Scott, and then transformed into a cloak that draped over his shoulders.
Scott raised his hand and fastened the buttons on his cloak.
At this moment, the Ravenclaws around him had all stopped their duels and were looking at him in surprise.
Scott smiled and bowed.
He straightened up and looked around the auditorium, finding that many places were in complete chaos.
Especially those Gryffindors and Slytherins who were grouped together, many even threw away their wands and started hand-to-hand combat.
"Merlin! Stop right now!"
Lockhart jumped around anxiously in the crowd.
"Stand up...be careful...oh! Squeeze hard, you need to stop the bleeding..."
But nobody listened to him.
"Stop!"
The students finally stopped when Snape's voice rang out.
But many people lay on the ground, panting heavily.
"This won't do, this is too unfriendly!"
Lockhart ran back onto the stage and said to Snape, “Severus, we must stop this… I mean, we can call a group of students up on stage to demonstrate.”
Snape gave a noncommittal smirk.
“How about Potter and Malfoy?” Lockhart suggested.
"Not very good, Professor Lockhart."
Snape coldly watched as Harry and Malfoy, both already badly injured, lay on the ground glaring at each other below the stage.
"They're just second-year students, all they do is take turns throwing curses at each other like idiots," Snape commented. "That's hardly a good example."
At this point, he suddenly raised his head and looked precisely at Scott.
"..."
Scott instantly had a very bad feeling.
"Mr. Trollope."
Scott felt a pang of unease as he heard Snape pronounce his name in that distinctive tone.
