He seemed to be holding back his tears.

“I’ve made up my mind. I need to make some changes,” he said, as if he had made up his mind.

But Scott found Scott's forced "I'm powerful" expression utterly awkward.

If he had to describe it, he felt it was like watching Lin Daiyu forcibly playing the role of Lu Zhishen.

Not only was the actor uncomfortable, but the viewer also felt very awkward.

But he didn't say anything.

Since Milton himself was so eager to change things, he could only wish him success.

Just then, a dark shadow flew in through the open car window.

"Scott!"

Rimbaud’s somewhat hoarse voice rang out.

The raven landed in the open space between the group and shook the snow off its feathers.

What did you see?

Scott rolled up the car window and reached out his hand for Rimbaud to jump onto his palm.

“Tell us quietly, Rimbaud.”

The raven hopped in his palm and whispered, "I saw it. The girl sent a message by an owl."

"Ok, I see."

Scott stroked Rimbaud's feathers with his other hand, lowering his eyelids as he pondered.

"What's wrong, Scott? What are you thinking about?" Roger couldn't help but ask him. "Maybe she's sending a letter to her family asking them to pick her up at the station?"

“That would be best.” Scott looked up.

Roger frowned.

He wasn't stupid; he quickly realized something. "Are you worried that Stirner and his gang want to retaliate against you?"

But he didn't think that Mill and Strailner and those people had anything in common.

and……

“Strilner is on the train right now, so there’s absolutely no need for Mil to write a letter if he wants to say anything to him.”

“I’m afraid it’s not Stryner,” Eddie interjected. “Have you forgotten Jasmine Travers? Roger, disciplining your ex-girlfriend is her specialty.”

"Could it be that she's trying to use the same old tricks? Threatening Scott the same way she threatened Jacob?" Roger's expression finally changed.

However, he was still somewhat puzzled. "But why would you think of her? You know, she might be lying in a hospital bed right now, unable to do anything."

“I ran into Jacob as I was leaving the common room,” Scott said. “He reminded me of this possibility.”

“This possibility certainly cannot be ignored,” Eddie added.

“But… I still find it hard to believe.” Roger shook his head. “Why would she go to such lengths to deal with you? Just because of a glance? If that’s the case, I was there that day too.”

Scott spread his hands. "Don't worry, it's just a possibility. Of course, I hope you'll be careful too."

“I think you’re being overly cautious,” Roger laughed. “My dad will pick me up at the station; perhaps he can escort you back?”

"No need, Roger."

Scott refused.

"That's just the worst-case scenario. You know, I'm just being habitually cautious."

Although he said that, his inner vigilance was actually at its highest.

Chapter 092 Charing Cross Station

Around noon, the Hogwarts Express arrived at King's Cross Station in London, platform 9¾.

Scott and his companions took off their wizard robes, changed into Muggle clothes, and got out of the car together.

Milton.

A deep call came.

Scott and his companions looked in the direction of the sound and saw a male wizard wearing a dark wizard's robe and with a somewhat gloomy expression striding over.

"Oh, it's my dad."

Milton said in a low voice.

Mr. Grevis walked up, gave Scott and his group a cold look, and said directly to Milton, "Let's go."

His cold attitude made Scott and the other two feel somewhat awkward.

They were still hesitating whether to be polite and greet him first, but he had already turned and left.

“I’m sorry,” Milton said apologetically, looking at the three of them. “My father…”

"Hurry up and catch up."

Mr. Grevis turned and urged Milton on.

"Go ahead, see you after the holiday."

Scott smiled and waved at Milton.

"Goodbye."

Milton forced a smile and quickly followed Mr. Grevis, the father and son soon disappearing into the crowd.

“Is that Mr. Grevis?” Eddie whispered incredulously. “What happened? He wasn’t like this during the summer!”

Scott and Roger, of course, didn't know the answer to this question either.

"Remember how kind and friendly he was to us during the summer vacation? He even thanked us for being friends with Milton!"

Eddie's mouth hadn't stopped.

"Look at him now, I think he looks at least ten years older, and there are permanent creases on his eyebrows..."

“Let’s go.” Scott patted Eddie on the shoulder. “Let’s get off at the platform first.”

"Ok."

Eddie clicked his tongue and stopped talking about Mr. Grevis.

“I’m just a little worried about Milton,” he said. “Has something happened to his family? I think that’s why he chose to give up music.”

"Maybe, but there's nothing we can do about it, is there?" Roger said helplessly.

"Kachini!"

He ran to the other side of the platform to say goodbye to his girlfriend.

Scott and Eddie, who remained where they were, exchanged a glance and both sighed.

They understood that Roger was right.

They were worried about Milton, but there was nothing they could do, and they didn't even know what had happened.

Not long after saying goodbye, Roger returned to the group, and the three of them walked out of the platform together.

Roger's father, Mr. Davis, and Eddie's father, Mr. Camitchel, were waiting for them outside the station.

As they walked out of the station, they saw two fathers huddled together by the car, smoking.

They had become familiar with each other through their previous experiences of picking up and dropping off their son.

Because of his background, Mr. Davis is a wizard who can easily integrate into Muggle society.

He drove a normal, non-flying car and wore a suit and tie; from his appearance, one would never guess that he was a male wizard.

"Hey guys, how are you?"

Mr. Davis spotted them, strode over past Roger who was greeting him, and warmly embraced Scott.

“Oh, Scott, Roger wrote to tell us you saved his life.” He patted Scott on the shoulder hard. “Thank you, good lad!”

“You’re welcome, Mr. Davis. Roger is my friend, and he’s exaggerating.”

Scott was finding his enthusiasm a bit overwhelming.

"Hello, Mr. Camitcher."

He took the initiative to greet the other gentleman.

"Hello, Scott."

Mr. Camitchell smiled in a friendly manner.

Compared to Eddie's somewhat shrewd and overt nature, he seemed much more approachable and gentle.

However, Scott did not believe that a successful businessman would lack shrewdness.

In short, after a round of greetings, they finally decided to leave.

At the enthusiastic invitation of his two roommates' fathers, Scott finally chose to ride in Mr. Davis's car and have him take him to Charing Cross Station.

So they said goodbye to each other, and the two cars drove off in different directions.

In the car, Mr. Davis and Roger talked about some things that had happened at school in a relaxed tone.

“You’re just like I was when I was young, Roger,” Mr. Davis said. “Your heart can only truly settle down when you meet the girl of your destiny, just like I did when I met your mother.”

“I will keep looking, Dad,” Roger said.

Scott couldn't help but ask, "So Kachini isn't?"

"Yes? Or no?" Roger shrugged. "Maybe my love for her will fade tomorrow, or it might deepen. Who knows?"

Mr. Davis laughed and said, "That's right! I only realized I couldn't live without your mother after dating her for three months!"

He also reached out and gave Roger a high five.

"..."

Scott suddenly felt that he shouldn't be in the car, but under it.
