"Oh dear... this is a tricky situation."

"But it's not a big problem. Before, I was flustered because I couldn't keep up with the controls, but now... ha, I'm the god of micro-management!"

Suddenly everything went black, and Leyou, clutching the coin in his hand, entered the second game.

A yellowed map was unfolded in front of Leyou, with a striking red line marking the enemy's attack route during this defensive mission.

And at the end of that route... lies Mount Hyjal, the sacred mountain of the night elves in the world of Azeroth.

At the summit of Mount Hyjal, the Well of Eternity, which gathers boundless magical power, nourishes the magnificent tree known as Nordrassil, meaning "Crown of the Sky."

World Tree.

Words cannot describe its magnificence, but as long as this magnificent World Tree exists, Nordrassil, blessed by the dragons, can keep all night elves from aging and disease, and can also create a phantom world called the "Emerald Dream" to heal and purify the wounds of the earth and foresee its future.

Moreover, Nordrassil, as the "Sacred Tree" of the Night Elves, is home to the souls of countless Night Elf ancestors, including many heroic souls who fought to the death against demons in the ancient war ten thousand years ago.

In this impending battle, the enemy's target is the magnificent World Tree, and... the Well of Eternity that nourishes the World Tree.

It is no exaggeration to say that the Well of Eternity possesses boundless magical power. In fact, the current Well of Eternity is merely a bottle of water from the original Well of Eternity in ancient times. Before the ancient Well of Eternity exploded, a child of light and darkness stole a bottle of water from it for various reasons, which led to the new Well of Eternity that nourishes the World Tree today.

If the previous Red Alert campaign was a minor skirmish, this campaign is a tough battle that requires an immense amount of effort.

It's fair to say that anyone who has played this battle will be awestruck by its grand epic scale and will remember it vividly.

The night elves are the ancient rulers of the continent of Azeroth, and even after ten thousand years, they still possess unparalleled strength. This battle... is a united effort by the three races of night elves, orcs, and humans to fight against an external enemy.

No, calling it a confrontation would be an exaggeration.

It can only be described as a delay.

In order for subsequent sacrifices to be effective, countless lives were given to delay the enemy's advance.

This is why, in the original game, the defender's victory condition was to hold out for as long as possible under enemy attack.

Because...the enemy forces are unstoppable.

Because the enemy is a demon from outer space, from the Twisting Nether, who has destroyed countless planets and worlds, the Burning Legion, which successfully invaded the world of Azeroth ten thousand years ago and committed countless crimes.

Void demons are incredibly powerful and numerous. In addition, they have the characteristic of not truly dying outside the Twisting Nether—if they die elsewhere, they will directly return to the Twisting Nether and wait to be resurrected, without any other conditions or restrictions; they only need to wait.

Despite possessing the blessing of eternal youth and talents and resources unmatched by other races, the Night Elves were the overlords of Azeroth ten thousand years ago, but ten thousand years later, they are merely one of the strongest among many races. All of this was caused by the invasion of the Burning Legion.

Even now, the story of Azeroth has been written for a long time, but if we're talking about battles that Leyou remembers vividly, the Battle of Mount Hyjal is still among his top choices.

With the sound of war drums, just like in the previous game, Leyou's perspective was divided into two parts.

However, the view from the tactical perspective immediately went black.

When the screen lit up again, four heroes appeared in his line of sight.

Heroes in every sense of the word.

Jaina Proudmoore, the human leader in this defensive battle, a filial daughter whose fate is difficult to assess, a great mage skilled in teleportation and escape, a ship-riding pilot, a true ship girl, and the daughter of the sea.

Thrall, the leader of the orcs, the chosen one, a plate-armored shaman, a bald warrior, was appointed Earth Warden in a mortal body, but was later stripped of his elemental power for losing a spell during a passionate brawl and returned to his hometown to raise his children.

Night Elf leader, Priestess of the Moon, dried banana, a widow for eternity, the beloved sister-in-law of her younger brother, the foster mother of the Moon's orbital cannon, a corrupted and vengeful demon, the God of War of the Moon, Elune—Tyrande Whisperwind, I'm not a priestess anymore.

The leader of the night elves, an archdruid, is proficient in various forms of shapeshifting and is quite versatile, but he has been sleeping for ten thousand years without paying his dues, and his wife can't wake him up without a megaphone. He is the brother of the Son of Light and Darkness, has a weak presence, and his combat power is pitiful, but he is a winner in life—Malfurion Stormrage.

In short, the deeds of these four big shots could fill several books—meaning several official novels.

The enemy, who, even with these four legendary heroes and their respective possessions, still had to exert all their strength to delay the enemy's advance, was incredibly powerful, and whose name resounded throughout Azeroth—and even the entire universe.

Archimonde the Defiler, one of the two leaders of the Burning Legion, one of the three leaders of Argus, the summoner of the pit lords, the caller of the demon army, the first invader in the War of the Ancients, the slayer of Malorne, the guardian of the path to becoming the strongest demigod, the destroyer of the magical city of Dalaran... and so on, the list goes on.

Throughout the Reign of Chaos campaign, the two cinematics that left the deepest impression on me both featured Archimonde as the protagonist. One was when he destroyed Dalaran, displaying an effortless and carefree attitude as he manipulated everything in his hands, and the other was the awe-inspiring sight of him crushing the magical capital with his bare hands.

Outside the vast magical capital, a small model was constructed from gravel, and then the model was molded back into gravel—thus, the magnificent magical capital was also crushed.

This had an unparalleled impact on the then young Leyou. Before that, he had never imagined that there could be such... amazing imagination.

If that still doesn't demonstrate how powerful he is... then the only one above him is Sargeras, the ruthless man who annihilated the Pantheon.

Although he still has the embarrassing nickname "Only Shadow Dies Twice", those are things that happened after this battle and do not affect his current strength.

Of course, the fact that the enemy is so powerful does not mean that they are truly invincible... Leyou doesn't know much about the efforts the people in the original story made to make this battle a success, but he knows one thing and that's enough.

This is... a game!

As for the Fourth Calamity, if you dare to show your health bar, even if you are a god, they can kill you!

Rakuyu gently tossed the coin with Jonouchi's image on it into his hand again, and laughed happily.

"This good fortune has really been a huge help to Jonouchi!"

---

Archimonde was truly a dominant force in Warcraft 3; the destruction of Dalaran deeply shocked my young mind at the time.

Of course, the same applies to Archimonde being killed while trying to kill a tree... comparable to Qin Shi Huang burying the hatchet with one shot (laughs).

Ultimately, the cinematic work Blizzard produced back then was top-tier in every aspect.

It's a pity now... sigh, what a shame.

Every hater of the storm was once a believer of the storm.

Chapter 8: This cheat code won't let you lose!

"Hehehe, hahahaha! Such immense power!"

At this moment, K was extremely excited. Even though he could do most things in his own world using the authority of the creator, he had never experienced what the purest power was like now.

"Rain of Chaos... Finger of Death... Compared to these pure powers, ha, no wonder that world was considered to have no potential. Those childish duels are nowhere near as real as this genuine power."

Having wielded chaotic power capable of destroying the world, K felt his thoughts were slightly unsettled, unable to think as calmly as before, but he didn't care at all.

With such pure power, what need is there for thought? Just crush everything in your path!

"Just you wait, little bug. When I launch my attack, it will be the day you die!"

Hahahaha!!!

The chaotic, bluish-green flames danced in K's palm. Possessed by Archimonde, he was now certain of victory and was about to be invincible.

……

"The situation is as bad as we expected. Archimonde and his Doomguard are preparing to march up the mountain, and he could launch an attack at any moment."

In the mountain camp, a teleportation array lit up, and Jaina, the human leader, brought bad news from within.

Malfurion nodded slightly, his face, as smooth as tree bark, showing a mixture of determination and reluctance.

"Ten thousand years ago, the Night Elves defeated the Burning Legion, and the outside world was nearly destroyed. However, because we were connected to the World Tree, we were able to enjoy freedom and immortality in peace... Now, it is time to return this gift."

Tyrande gazed calmly at her husband and whispered, "We will grow old, and our supernatural powers will gradually fade away."

"If pride makes us hesitate, my dear, then we have lived too long... The time has come, my dear, whatever the outcome, please remember that our friendship will last forever."

After bidding farewell to his beloved, the Archdruid mounted his steed and headed to the mountaintop to set up the final, crucial defensive fortification.

Thrall, the orc leader, and Jaina exchanged a glance, nodded to each other, and then returned to their respective camps to prepare for the upcoming final holy war.

"It's a bit tricky... but not entirely hopeless." In the void, Leyou received the message that had just been transmitted, his mind already racing as he considered how to respond.

During the previous Red Alert campaign, he even took on the role of commander himself, but this time, he only had one consciousness to control the three factions and deal with the enemy's attack.

The bad news is that... the enemy's leader, Archimonde, has been temporarily taken over by K.

It's not good news, but it's not all bad either. K's way of thinking is definitely different from Archimonde's, so the original plan has to be adjusted. But every cloud has a silver lining. A temporary Gundam pilot is definitely not as skilled as a professional pilot.

Moreover, this is not a duel arena where bravery is the only measure of skill; it is a game battlefield that requires both wisdom and strength, as well as knowledge and luck.

"Let's say you have the upper hand in intelligence and strength, but when it comes to understanding the game, I'm no worse than you... As for luck..."

The coin with Jonouchi's image on it flew up and down in Leyou's hand. Jonouchi was the first of the three people to be saved. The reason for this is self-evident.

Of course, there's not only bad news. The only good news is that Archimonde won't launch an attack right away like in the game. Instead, it will have a period of preparation beforehand, and its advance will follow the original route. There won't be any absurd maneuvers like flying directly to the World Tree.

But apart from that... K has no other restrictions.

"Fight! My brethren! Fight! Brave orcs and men! Twilight is approaching... and the enemy is pressing in with overwhelming force!"

As the Archdruid, having reached the summit, issued his final call, command of the three-race alliance was officially transferred to Leyou.

Controlling armies of three races, Leyou had to handle an extraordinary number of things at the same time. When he first started playing the game, he often found himself overwhelmed and unable to keep up with everything, easily losing to the enemy's relentless attacks.

And now... haha, the times haven't changed, but I have!

I am no longer human!

"Jaina led her troops to build defensive towers on the human camp, and transferred some peasants to build multiple griffon cages. The barracks trained knights, the griffon cages trained griffons and researched related upgrades, and other upgrade buildings were fully researched. The remaining units are on standby for now!"

"The entire orc force is heading to the human camp to provide support. Thrall first opens all the supply crates near the camp and takes the supplies inside. Then he goes to the nearest goblin shop to buy healing scrolls and all the goblin mines before heading to the front lines as well. Troop training focuses on spirit walkers and witch doctors."

"Tyrande and Malfurion went to the goblin shop to purchase supplies, then to the mercenary camp to recruit units such as the [Bear Warrior] and Ancient of War, researched upgrades for archers, Druids of the Claw, and Hippogryphs, and the Ancient of Wind trained a large number of Hippogryphs and sent them to the front lines!"

"Dispatch sprites to the front lines to build a large number of Ancient Protectors! A large number!"

A series of commands are issued. Because it is a simulated game world, these game units do not have their own will, but they can understand some basic commands and execute them on their own. In addition to precise micro-management, these combat units can often be allowed to fight according to orders, which can reduce a lot of unnecessary operations.

In the original game, Leyou hadn't played the Mount Hyjal campaign too many times, but he had played it three or five times, and he had experienced it on every difficulty level. So he knew clearly which units were the best and most suitable for the upcoming campaign.

Human knights are the best meat shields, or rather, all-around warriors. Apart from not being able to attack air units and having a relatively high cost, they don't have many weaknesses. Griffins in Griffin Cages only have the disadvantages of being fragile and expensive.

Well... sometimes, being expensive isn't a flaw of the product, it's a flaw of ourselves...

Fortunately, as the final battle, and with the three races defending together, Leyou had relatively ample funds from the start, as well as three gold mines that could operate continuously. Of course, Leyou didn't dare to blindly build up troops, as there was a mechanism called "maintenance costs" that meant the more total population you had, the less income you would receive from mining.
