A Marine Admiral in the Marvel Universe

As for the other three, they are not important, and I can't protect them anyway.

On the other side, Colonel Rhodes, who was poised to fight to the death, stopped, because he was no longer needed.

Those four-clawed cannon fodder monsters were ravaged by the wind blades and were cut in half in just a few breaths. The gale raged and the soil churned up. They killed and buried the monsters, providing thoughtful service in one step.

Colonel Rhodes couldn't find the right moment to make a move.

But at that moment, a scarlet light suddenly shone, and a huge red shield appeared out of thin air in front of the Obsidian Five.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang—!

A deafening roar, like the sound of a great bell, suddenly erupted, and layers of sound waves swept and spread, as visible to the naked eye as a tangible shockwave.

The room fell silent instantly. Who was it?!

Who has such power to withstand such a catastrophic attack?

"My lord! It's my lord!" Proxima Midnight exclaimed in surprise, turning around to look behind her.

Behind them, in the direction of the Masai Mountains, Thanos was covered in dust and dirt, his golden armor dull and covered in mud and sand.

What's even more ridiculous is that a large bump has swelled up on his cold, purple face, and purple blood is flowing from the corner of his mouth and nostrils. He has none of the demeanor one would expect from a cosmic overlord.

But no one could laugh; a scarlet gem was embedded in the golden Infinity Gauntlet on his left hand.

Having dealt with the Infinity Stones so many times, the Avengers recognized it at a glance as the Aether, the Reality Stone.

This thing has the ability to distort reality; it can create anything imaginable. There is no reality it cannot change, only things you cannot imagine.

Thanos got the gems, but the only saving grace is that he didn't get the Power Stone.

On the other side, the defeated Tony, Thor, and Steve slowly stood up. They were all somewhat bewildered by the sudden appearance of this enormous fighting force.

When did such a terrifying monster appear on Earth?

“We’ve overlooked someone,” Tony said in a deep voice, “the visitor from a parallel world.”

Thor stared blankly at the dragon in the sky; this thing was longer and bigger than Nidhogg.

"Anyway, Thanos has met his match!" Steve said. In the brief exchange just now, they were all defeated in just a few moves, without any power to put up a fight.

Whoosh!

A scarlet light shot into the sky, instantly enveloping the Azure Dragon that occupied half of the sky. The next moment, the Azure Dragon began to turn into a piece of paper and floated down helplessly.

Thanos wiped the blood from his lips and sneered, "Is your enormous size such that you think the Reality Stone can't work on you?"

However, a burst of hazy blue light suddenly emanated from the Azure Dragon in the air, and then it suddenly struggled, and the scarlet light of the Reality Gem turned into starlight and fell from the dragon's body.

Space Stone!

Thanos's expression suddenly darkened; this guy also possessed an Infinity Stone.

Only the Infinity Stones can defeat the Infinity Stones.

"Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, go and collect the other Infinity Stones," Thanos commanded in a deep voice. "Give me that thing up there!"

"Yes, sir/master!"

The Obsidian Five breathed a slight sigh of relief; as long as they weren't fighting that thing, everything was fine.

At the same time, the azure dragon in the sky slowly shrank. In a few breaths, the azure dragon shrank back into human form, and an Asian youth who was about three meters tall, with his arms and sides covered with metallic azure dragon scales and a dragon tail behind him slowly emerged.

It has dragon horns on its head, and its legs have turned into dragon feet with reverse joints. The sharp claws gleam with a cold light, making people shudder.

Chapter 456 Cao Gui's Confidence and Thanos's Discovery

"Kid, you're not bad." Thanos looked at the levitating Cao Gui and said in a deep voice, "Before coming here, I went to Earth in 2014..."

"What? You killed half of all life on Earth back then?" Cao Gui slowly retracted his dragon claws, and a clanging sound emanated from them, like the sound of metal clashing.

The Avengers nearby were all horrified when they heard this. Could it be that their world's Earth had been destroyed?

Scott, in particular, knew very well that Pym particles were essential for time travel, which meant that Hank... Hope...

Thinking of this, Scott was immediately filled with intense regret. If he hadn't acted recklessly, this wouldn't have happened.

"No."

Thanos's purple face twitched slightly. In 2014, Odin was still alive, and so was the Ancient One. He was tired of living, so he came directly to their door.

“But I haven’t found your information in Earth’s records,” Thanos said in a deep voice. “You’re not from this world, so you have no obligation to be responsible for Earth.”

"Submit to me, and I will forgive your past offenses!"

"Follow me, and you will get everything you want: power, honor, beauty—everything you can imagine, I can give you!"

"Your abilities are quite impressive, and you deserve my respect."

Cao Gui's eye twitched, then he curled his lip in disdain. "I already have these things, I don't lack them at all!"

With power, the entire S.H.I.E.L.D. was at his disposal. If Cao Gui pointed east, S.H.I.E.L.D. dared not go west; if Cao Gui pointed left, S.H.I.E.L.D. dared not go right.

Honor... what is that? Can you eat it?

Beautiful women? I can barely handle my two girlfriends at home!

Seeing Cao Gui's appearance, Thanos knew that the attempt to persuade him to surrender had failed.

"Since that's the case..." Thanos's swollen, blood-soaked purple face suddenly contorted with a ferocious expression: "Then die!"

With a sudden clench of his left hand, the crimson Reality Gem blazed brightly, crimson energy circulated throughout his body, and his aura surged dramatically.

Although they are Reality Stones, not Power Stones, these stones are all massive energy sources. Thanos could draw upon their power for his own use using the Infinity Gauntlet, which was not a difficult task for him.

Upon seeing this, Cao Gui snorted coldly, his arms instantly covered in Armament Haki, a purple light flashed in his eyes, and an inexplicable aura soared into the sky.

Rumble—!

The air suddenly froze, and the ground beneath their feet began to crack inch by inch. The sudden heaviness of the air made it difficult for the Black Order and Thanos to breathe.

It was as if a mountain had suddenly pressed down on the air, its terrifying aura making one dizzy, and one could almost hear the painful screams of all things.

Those cannon fodder monsters were even worse off; under the impact of the attack, they foamed at the mouth, rolled their eyes, and collapsed to the ground.

Conqueror's Haki!

Cao Gui himself didn't have these things, but Kaido is different; he not only has them, but he's also very strong at them!

"What is this?" Thanos's pupils contracted sharply. He could only vaguely analyze that it was a mental impact, but he couldn't determine what kind of ability it was.

Thanos's expression grew increasingly solemn. This enemy... was no less powerful than himself!

boom--!

Suddenly, a strong wind arose, dust billowed, and sand and stones swirled. Cao Gui's figure vanished abruptly, and a ghostly figure appeared behind Thanos.

The black dragon claw rose, and the chilling claw, wrapped in purple aura, instantly pierced the air, carrying a destructive aura, as it grabbed at Thanos's shiny purple head.

However, Thanos showed no panic in the face of this fierce attack, and even seemed to handle it with ease.

Cao Gui's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly realized the problem.

At some point, a layer of barely perceptible, fine willow catkins began to swirl around Thanos. In some of the catkins that were slightly closer to his body, a faint crimson glow could even be seen on them.

This was something created from the Reality Gem, and it didn't have much use. Its only purpose was to detect enemy movements. All of Cao Gui's actions were already within his perception range.

Thanos had possessed the Infinity Stones for longer than Cao Gui had lived, and his mastery of their abilities was unparalleled, far beyond Cao Gui's reach.

Even if he were to use the Reality Stone, which he was unfamiliar with, Thanos was confident that he could defeat his opponent.

With a whoosh, Cao Gui's dragon claw grazed Thanos's temple, and his sure-fire strike missed its mark.

That's not the big problem. The real problem is that Cao Gui's old strength hasn't dissipated and his new strength hasn't risen yet. Unless he forcibly reverses this situation at the cost of damaging his body, he will have to face Thanos's storm of attacks.

Moreover... Thanos won't give Cao Gui time to adjust.

Thanos pivoted on his right leg, twisting his hips, waist, and shoulders violently, unleashing a massive, purple-gold fist in a triple strike aimed at Cao Gui's eyes, throat, and heart.

All of these positions were deadly. Once Thanos determined that Cao Gui was an enemy he had to kill, he would leave no one behind.

His three attacks were fluid and lightning-fast, executed with effortless ease. His fighting ability was unmatched in the entire universe, with fewer than a handful of opponents able to surpass him.

Puff puff!

Thanos's pupils suddenly contracted, and he stabbed Cao Gui in the heart with his right hand and fingers forming a knife, but... there was no blood as expected, no warm sensation as if the heart had been pierced.

A sense of foreboding rose in Thanos's mind, and he abruptly pulled back.

but……

"Come and go as you please?"

Cao Gui sneered, and lightning burst forth from his body, with dazzling electric sparks floating on his surface. His bright yellow dragon eyes instantly transformed into scarlet lightning eyes, and his entire body instantly increased in size and height.

Thor's body!

Similar to Enel's "200 Million Volts Thor", it belongs to the category of full-power discharge.

This is the courage Cao Gui had to face Thanos head-on—his dual Devil Fruit abilities!

With the Azure Dragon Fruit and the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, Cao Gui has nothing to fear unless Thanos obtains all six Infinity Stones!

A lightning spear suddenly appeared, grasped by a silver-white lightning hand wreathed in electric snakes. The lightning flashed and disappeared in an instant, piercing towards Thanos.

puff!

Purple blood suddenly splattered as the lightning spear pierced Thanos's chest, and surging lightning instantly spread throughout his body.

"Aaaaaah—!"

Thanos howled in agony, but at the same time, crimson light enveloped his entire body. He knew exactly what Cao Gui would do next; once the Thunder Spear exploded, he would be torn to pieces.

Upon seeing this, Cao Gui snorted coldly, and a burst of blue light surged out like lightning, but... it was too late!

In that brief moment, the Thunder Spear transformed into an iron spear, and Thanos unleashed a punch with his left hand, the Infinity Gauntlet carrying the energy of the Reality Stone slamming into Cao Gui.

With a loud bang, Cao Gui was sent flying backward, pulling out the spear that was stuck in Thanos's body at the same time.

Cao Gui tapped his feet repeatedly, his dragon tail swishing behind him, stabilizing himself. His face was somewhat grim; Thanos was indeed powerful, managing to escape this seemingly inescapable situation.

On the other side, Thanos placed his left hand on his chest, and the huge wound was instantly healed. The Reality Stone can reverse reality; not only can it heal wounds, but it can also recreate half of a body.

Thanos's purple eyes flashed slightly. This kid's combat strength is indeed good, but... his use of the gems is too poor!
