Tonight, Alice joins the hunt.

This time, she directly unleashed a natural disaster, erasing the civilization brought by these transmigrators from her world—she didn't kill anyone, but simply neutralized the reproductive abilities of these outsiders. No matter how hard they tried, how diligent, or how much they fought, they couldn't obtain even a single heir. Under Alice's watchful gaze, this foreign civilization, after more than a decade of development, collapsed due to internal despair. And when the last transmigrator died of old age in despair, she used a massive thunderstorm to completely disinfect the land.
This is my world, mine!
Her thoughts echoed throughout the world, her clear and unwavering will spreading to every corner of the sky, the earth, and the sea. She left her mark in every region of space, filling every crevice of the world with the curse of infertility for outsiders.
This is her world, and she has asserted her sovereignty.
Then, she pushed time forward once again, and time moved forward another thousand years.
When she returned a thousand years later, she was greeted by a technologically advanced world where the land was covered in reinforced concrete, machinery, and armor. The time travelers who had returned were no longer primitive people from a feudal era, but rather a mechanical civilization with the technological level of the information age—her curse still existed, but this time the time travelers bypassed the reproductive process and created offspring directly through in-vitro fertilization. And this civilization, beyond her control, thrived in her world.
She silently detonated the radiant portal beneath the land, instantly vaporizing the entire continent along with its civilization and all living beings. This time, as she departed, she raised the sea level by one kilometer, submerging all the land and causing the mechanical life in the ocean to generate a large number of technologically advanced mechanical sea monsters. These included sea fish equipped with plasma cannons and armored machines with giant pincers that possessed molecular cutting field properties. Their underlying design incorporated a deep-seated hatred and a bloodlust for alien life.
She left her own world once again, and this time, while temporarily staying in the outer world, she observed the torrent of human destiny spanning multiple dimensions—she knew very well that her target was 'invaders from outside' rather than 'humans'. And as long as she remained human, the human destiny should not reject her.
As expected, under her observation, the crimson aura of humanity emanating from her remained strong, even stronger than during the previous observation. The killing among mortals didn't seem to be seen as contrary to the aura of humanity, and since she wasn't deliberately targeting humans from a divine standpoint, she remained on the side of humanity.
—She was simply eliminating the uninvited intruder as the hostess. That's a perfectly reasonable course of action anywhere, isn't it?
However, when she returned to her own world, the thing she didn't want to see happened again.
Once again, a large number of mortals appeared in her exclusive world, and this time, these mortal transmigrators had a familiar origin.
They claimed to be from Atlantis. And the mortals of Atlantis were born with the ability to control the sea.
Alice analyzed their society and genetic structure, quickly determining that they hadn't become aliens but had instead embarked on a path of biological civilization. These Atlanteans not only created organs for breathing in the sea and freely moving external limbs, but they also mastered the technology to control mechanical creatures in the ocean—they bypassed the killing instincts Alice had set for them by releasing specific hormones and electromagnetic pulses. This allowed the guardian servants Alice had prepared to become their allies. As for the curse of fertility—a curse that even mechanical civilizations could evade was naturally ineffective against a biological civilization—the Atlanteans' genetic technology was sufficient to allow them to produce offspring without any side effects.
This is good. Their tenacious vitality, their well-timed approach, and their enslavement of the primordial creatures have successfully provoked the enraged creator to an even greater degree. And this time, Alice has sealed off the Radiant Path and the Chaos Sphere in the sky without leaving any gaps.
Temperatures plummeted to minus two hundred degrees Celsius within seven days, seawater turned into solid ice, and the River Styx became a truly desolate river. All traces of civilization were frozen to the finest particles by this extreme cold. Even her enslaved creations were permanently frozen, and she then perpetuated this extreme cold for ten years.
Ten years—ten years of freezing was enough to sever all means of survival for the Atlantean civilization. Alice, as always, didn't specifically target the 'mortal' race, but instead focused her attention on the concept of 'invaders'. Her anger had subsided long before she even took action, though she wouldn't give up simply because of inner peace.
This is her world, her domain, and she will not allow any uninvited outsider to leave a trace here—yes, she has actually lowered her expectations; as long as the other party is no longer 'uninvited,' she will choose to accept them conditionally—at worst, she can abandon this world or use it for other purposes, and she will find another way to move forward. However, even though she has lowered her expectations, she still has not been able to decipher the reason and pattern of this time travel phenomenon.
She departed once more, and this time, after thawing the frozen land, she restored the world to its state when she first descended—the atmosphere became comfortable, land emerged from the sea, and the flowers, birds, and trees that had once appeared reappeared. The temperature of the seawater also returned to normal, the ferocious mechanical sea creatures were deactivated from their violent state, and the curse of infertility was completely removed.
Before she departed, she left behind a specially marked message: should any newcomers of a certain level of intelligence descend upon the world, they could choose, in their dreams (she had, of course, considered the impact on sleep, so this was optional), to read the myths and covenants she had left behind—provided these newcomers were willing to believe in her, to accept the history and myths she had prepared, and to allow her to extract sufficiently suitable concepts when needed. Then this world could sustain them; otherwise, when she descended, these newcomers would be sent back to where they came from, obediently returning to their homeland.
Alice felt she had offered sufficiently lenient terms. As a creator, she had already reached her limit by tolerating these uninvited bastards living in her home, demanding only faith as rent. To emphasize her legitimacy and authority, she even prepared a grand temple in the sea as a receiver and converter of faith, and stationed mechanical sea creature guards outside the temple—not necessarily powerful in combat, but certainly with eye-catching entrance effects. Hoping to receive good news, she returned to Mordor in Middle-earth.
Three days have almost passed. Zheng Zha has ended his fruitless journey through the heavens and earth and returned to the Tower of Babel world above Changhu Town. Zhao Zhuikong's transformation ritual is also basically complete, with only a final, risk-free consolidation and finishing touches remaining. The final battle is not far off, and Alice will likely have one last chance to return.
She made some arrangements and preparations, chatted briefly with Patchouli who had freed her hands in the distance, and then greeted Chu Xuan in the Tower of Babel world. Then, she returned to her own bubble world.
then……
Alice stood expressionlessly atop her dilapidated temple, witnessing the scattered remains of the temple's guardians—creatures she herself had created, devoid of any offensive defenses—spreading across her field of vision. She watched as a group of mortals, dressed like heroes from fantasy adventure novels, surrounded her altar, brandishing various magically pulsating weapons at her.
Alice: "………………"
Standing at the very front of the encirclement, the most conspicuously dressed and the most powerful, a greatsword warrior nearing the third stage of the gene lock, let out a passionate roar. A string of strangely slurred words burst from his mouth, which Alice took several milliseconds to decipher.
The moment she deciphered the code, she almost thought there was something wrong with her hearing.
"Get out of this world, you evil god! This world does not belong to you!"
Alice: "………………"

Chapter Sixty-One: Paradise Lost, Part Two
Silence, oh silence. Either erupt in silence, or perish in silence—Alice had suffered before, endured hardship and pain. She thought she would at least have a certain degree of patience and composure in similar situations. But after it happened, she found herself unable to remain as calm as she had anticipated.
"I'm being driven out of my world by a bunch of invading bandits... I finally understand why so many creator gods in fantasy stories are so keen on destroying the world... and always fixated on mortals." Alice raised a hand and clenched her fist tightly. She then realized that her will had manifested a tangible form upon its arrival. And this form even acted like a cage, sealing her... or rather, hindering her creator's power.
—Her connection with the world has been disrupted; she can no longer destroy it in an instant as before—it takes her three or four thoughts to cleanse it. This is already an extremely dangerous omen.
"If I hadn't possessed the obsessive soul of a Demon King while advancing to the fourth tier, I might actually have been kicked out this time... What a joke."
A whisper escaped her throat, and her language was clearly beyond the comprehension of the 'heroes' and 'warriors' who were trying to surround her. In their eyes, this descended 'evil god' swept her gaze with 'contempt,' spewing 'evil' and filthy incantations. Having reached this conclusion, the greatsword warrior at the forefront of the battle, with his protagonist-like demeanor, immediately launched his attack.
"Get out of here, you evil god! The pure light will banish you!" the swordsman roared, raising his radiant greatsword to slash at Alice. His teammates followed suit, flanking him and using magic-infused arrows and elemental spells to block Alice's path—their movements were skillful and coordinated, clearly those of a well-trained hero squad. In other fantasy stories, one might indeed have a chance to gain a fleeting advantage against a supernatural being. But unfortunately, they had chosen the wrong enemy.
“This world really needs a thorough purification.” Alice shook her head, reaching out to block the long and complex barrage of attacks. All the arrows, axes, swords, spears, and magical energy stopped before the multiple layers of composite spatial barriers she casually created, including even the greatsword that shimmered with brilliant light. Nothing could interfere with her body.
"How is this possible? The Holy Sword is ineffective against an evil god!?" The greatsword warrior, who resembled the protagonist, trembled visibly in his voice. His movements remained steady and decisive. Realizing his attacks were ineffective, he immediately adopted a defensive stance and retreated, shouting orders for his comrades to regroup and change tactics—he was fast, but not fast enough. Because the moment he took his first step back, Alice caught up with him, punching him in the chest, creating a gaping hole.
"The Holy Sword?" Alice grabbed the blade and snatched the now-powerless greatsword. When her fingers touched the blade, she could indeed feel the faint sensation of the sword cutting through her skin. Her will quickly examined this inexplicable body and discovered that it was a crude construct cobbled together from the corpses of the temple guards she had created. And this so-called greatsword possessed a pure and intense light capable of destroying the dark-attribute mechanical body's structure.
This is my temple. When I descend, if I don't consciously think about it, I will indeed land in this airspace. If there is a suitable vessel, there is indeed a possibility of direct possession. Destroying this body during possession will indeed expel me from this world... and then I will descend again after I come to my senses.
"...They're nothing but ants. The reason I arrived at this point in time is simply because there were too many variables, causing the time acceleration to stall at this point. It's not that some powerful being has actually come to scheme against me in my world."
[Ants...no, a band of robbers.]
In a few microseconds of thought, she grasped the cause and effect, and the so-called 'holy sword' and its user no longer held any value in her eyes. She casually crushed the greatsword into pieces, and only then did the greatsword user's comrades recover from their grief and anger, witnessing the scene that shattered their morale.
Even so, the fact that they were able to do such a thing shows that humanity's fortunes are on their side. It's just that fate can't overcome supernatural powers; their luck wasn't even enough to trip me up.
The warriors roared in disbelief. Some, enraged, charged at Alice with even greater ferocity, shouting the name of the greatswordsman and the cry of vengeance. Others remained calm, taking over leadership positions to try and reorganize the ranks. A very few, almost instinctively, took steps, preparing to flee or retreat.
Their actions varied, but remained utterly meaningless. Alice, utterly disregarding their strength or intentions, easily slaughtered most of them. The enraged avengers were wiped out, the cautious cowards were killed, and two-thirds of the calm, moderate ones were randomly killed, leaving only four or five heavily wounded individuals barely clinging to life.
They lay on the ground, their eyes filled with a mixture of fear and hatred. They uttered lines that were either heroic or calm. Although their words meant nothing to Alice, their fervent emotions were of some slight benefit to her investigation.
“It’s not a wise thing to fight against the Creator, especially when I’m losing patience with you.” Alice adjusted her language to make sure the defeated group understood her meaning. She softened her tone to embolden them to speak to her. Before reviewing the information, she decided to conduct some on-the-spot investigation to see if she could obtain any information different from the previous encounters.
"What brings you here?"
"Pah! Evil God, the free will of mankind will never yield to you!" An archer spat at her, and the spittle was bound by gravity in mid-air, blasting the rude person's head apart at ten times the speed it had come from.
Alice turned her gaze to a magician.
"Why do you harbor such deep hatred for me? Or is this just your inherent nature? A group of outsiders seized the owner's house, killed the owner's pets, and even wanted to kill the owner of the house?" She didn't really want to read minds or examine memories directly, because this situation was special. If it wasn't necessary, she didn't intend to come into contact with the spirit and soul of these outsiders in a not-so-safe environment.
"The world is free; it needs neither gods nor a creator." The mage's voice trembled, but his words still held unwavering conviction. "If you truly are a benevolent god who created the world, you should let it be free. Just as parents shouldn't interfere in their children's lives. But you force everyone to believe in you, or else you'll banish us from this world... What is this if not an evil god?"
"This is my world. You live here, so you have to pay rent."
"So what if it's yours? Nobody will acknowledge it." The fear in the mage's eyes was gradually replaced by a kind of fanatical devotion. His voice also grew louder.
"We were born here, grew up here, and will die here. We have conquered the land, tamed the sea, and one day we will even take control of the sky and the stars beyond it—a god who never appears is of no use to this world, but we can make it a better place!"
Alice stared at the magician for ten seconds.
She silently released the oppressive constraints of the extraordinary life force within her, and after discerning and analyzing the body, its obstruction to the creator's power completely vanished. She watched almost frame by frame as the magician's face went from rosy to pale, and then turned to ashes as his heart and liver ruptured in fear.
The wizard died, utterly terrified to death after realizing Alice's true nature. And it wasn't just this fool who died of fright; his other companions were similarly terrified, their brains practically burned to mush.
Alice shook her head.
"As expected, you can't reason with a madman..." She stood there quietly for a hundred seconds, but in the end, neither reinforcements suddenly teleported in, nor high-energy artillery capable of destroying the world, nor extraterrestrial gods with extraordinary nature appeared. After the time she had given this world's civilization to perform for ended, she shed the shackled body she currently possessed, reactivated her sovereign power, and moved herself above this new human kingdom.
Alice was a witch, a rational, materialistic information witch. Even now, as if she were about to go mad with rage, she was still able to firmly control the surging anger within her so that it did not interfere with her thinking.
She must understand the origins of this civilization before destroying and rebuilding everything. She must understand the cause and development of this anomaly. And within this investigation lies the final chance she is giving this bandit civilization.
After that, she will no longer restrain herself; she will eliminate all dissidents and unleash her fury upon them.
Chapter Sixty-Two: Paradise Lost, Part Three
This civilization is a complex fantasy world. If one had to describe it, it would be like a hybrid novel combining elements of modern Japanese fantasy and early 21st-century Chinese online literature. Had Alice not spent some time examining the civilization's recent history instead of directly tracing its origins back to the moment of its arrival, she might have indeed overlooked this subtle change.
My plan had worked at first, but ultimately failed.
Alice constructed a temporary mortal avatar and silently descended into the library of this feudal fantasy civilization. She didn't deliberately conceal her presence, merely employing simple optical and informational concealment techniques—of course, "simple" is relative; even this level of disguise was sufficient to isolate her from any creatures whose life level was below the third stage of unlocking their genetic potential. And in her perception, no such creature existed in this world.
It is a living being, not an existence.
In other words, if any person or thing were to discover her, then that person or thing would inevitably possess, or be imbued with, a power of the third tier or higher. Since there are no third-tier beings in this tiny bubble world, the only being possessing such power is the will of this civilization, or rather, the collective unconscious of this race—the Alaya consciousness in Buddhist terminology.
Alice is giving this civilization its last chance here. While she researches the history and specific details of this alien civilization's changes in this library, its Alaya consciousness still has the opportunity to come and apologize, seeking mercy. And if this is a stubborn civilization, then this is its final, desperate attempt. Whatever its choice, this is its only chance. Once Alice obtains the information she desires, she will launch a comprehensive and thorough purge of the world, eradicating all foreign influences.
"What will you choose? Survival, destruction, or both... Hmph, there won't be a second chance. I also don't have more time to conduct further experiments. If this attempt fails, then there will be at most one more try... This bubble world will have to be completely abandoned, utterly destroyed without leaving a trace." — Alice reached out and touched a dusty ancient book on a bookshelf before her. Judging from its age, the book had been sitting in this corner of the shelf for at least a hundred years. And the contents of the book were a record of events related to the message she had left behind.
With the first book, she was able to find the second book by connecting the information. And with the second book, there was the third, the fourth, the fifth... She quickly found thousands upon thousands of ancient historical and mythological documents recorded by this civilization, and after eliminating many contradictions and errors, she understood the civilization's trajectory without going back in time.
Like the previous four, this fifth civilization was also composed of a group of transmigrators—their origins being a fantasy kingdom called Saint Lan. Their power structure was built upon a crude system, much like Marisa's mushroom fried rice.
They absorb the light and darkness dissipating from the world through a certain visualization method. They differentiate between sword-wielding warriors and magic users who only remotely release and control energy orbs based on the activity level of the energy they acquire. The ranks of these professionals are crudely divided into bronze, iron, silver, and gold based on the value of metals, with the most powerful gold-ranked professionals possessing abilities equivalent to unlocking the second stage of their genetic lock and receiving B-level enhancements.
It was crude and rudimentary, but its combat power was undeniable. And since it possessed combat power, it naturally held awe for extraordinary power. The first immigrants to arrive in this world, after coming into contact with the information Alice had imprinted on the world, readily became her followers and helped her carry on the Styx myth she had designed. They revered Alice as the supreme guardian goddess, built many temples for her, and compiled sacraments to offer her sacrifices throughout the four seasons.
Since they have chosen peace and reverence, the covenant between humans and gods left behind by Alice will naturally drive some pre-prepared automatic mechanisms to fulfill the responsibilities she promised.
She protected them as if they were given a divine title, dispelling the hostility and hunger of the powerful mechanical beasts. She further opened energy channels, allowing their power systems to function properly. She drove away schools of fish, adjusted the light, enabling the farmers and fishermen of this mortal civilization to easily reap abundant harvests, and helped them avoid natural disasters that spontaneously occurred in certain worlds, allowing them to survive tsunamis and thunderstorms.
Alice's automated system did not concern itself with wars between mortals, but at least one thing was certain: as long as it was not a war between believers, an internal affair of the kingdom, or a matter of life and death, as long as someone in distress sincerely prayed to her, the automated devices she had prepared would cause changes in the surrounding environment to create various tiny coincidences to help them overcome the crisis when their lives were hanging by a thread.
Alice believed that she had done more than enough, and any further interference would be like caring for an infant rather than the covenant that should exist between humans and gods. And indeed, the Holy Lan civilization at that time was not a group of insatiable greedy people—they accepted Alice's care with contentment and reverence, and then worshipped her even more devoutly.
Nearly a thousand years have passed, and if things could continue like this, Alice, as the creator, would probably be content to maintain the status quo after her arrival. The connection between humans and gods is already close enough that even some less important maintenance devices in the automated systems have been entrusted to sufficiently devout believers within the Holy Storm civilization for their management, albeit under the guise of offering sacrifices to divine artifacts.
Everything was going so well that Alice even began to wonder if she had just made a mistake. Perhaps the battle between herself and those mortal warriors was actually a misunderstanding—but then she immediately changed her mind when she read history back a hundred years.
A hundred years ago, another group of transmigrators appeared in this world. They were a group of people Alice didn't want to remember their appearances or names, and they all basically had surnames like 'Long', 'Ye', 'Lin', and 'Chu', which were common in early online novels featuring arrogant protagonists. They descended on various corners of the Holy Lan Kingdom in a short period of time, and without exception, they all displayed an abnormal charm that was beyond reason, like a curse, and a violent and vengeful personality.
With their enigmatic allure, they easily seized control of most of the Holy Lan civilization through nepotism. Their romantic escapades need not be detailed—but after gaining control of the majority of the civilization, they unanimously began to besiege the orthodox sects that followed Alice, viewing them as enemies to be eliminated. And, in a remarkably bizarre manner, they raised one powerful, loyal, and incredibly efficient elite army after another.
They easily gained control of the economy, and naturally used things like perfumes, soaps, glass, and rubber that the world hadn't yet been able to invent properly, nor was it time for them to be. They also possessed extraordinary energy affinity; some could even achieve rapid advancement, becoming the most powerful combatants in the current system, simply by eating a sweet potato or practicing Tai Chi, thus aligning with the energy transmission codes.
Naturally, Alice's cult suffered a crushing defeat—no, not just a defeat. They crumbled like butter poured with hot soup. The once resolute and formidable temple guards turned to dust in the heat of battle. And the elite commanders—for some reason, most of the temple's high command at that time were a group of sexually frustrated women—were easily captivated by the extraordinary charm of these second group of transmigrators, abandoning their long-held beliefs and doctrines in the blink of an eye and turning against their former comrades.
And so, the goddess's temple collapsed. Believers converted en masse, and the clergy all abandoned their former faith. The few devout followers who remained steadfast were hanged or strangled by the sorcerers and witches—Alice frowned deeply when she read this history—and in less than a decade, the Church of the Creator Goddess, which had flourished for a thousand years, was branded a heretical cult and became an object of universal condemnation.
The covenant between gods and men was terminated because there were no longer even a single, superficial, believer. The Styx myths, which were truly important to Alice—far more important than the faith she could not possibly use—were all completely banned, banned without exception, except for a few remaining in ancient libraries.
After that, the second group of transmigrators spent decades destroying all the automated mechanisms she had left behind to enforce the covenant between humans and gods. And after this second group of transmigrators died out, whether naturally or unnaturally, their descendants took control of the entire Yunlan civilization and continued the work that their ancestors had not finished.
They advocated that humans could conquer nature and that they should dominate and plunder everything. Just a month ago, the most powerful warriors among them set sail amidst countless flower petals and cheers, embarking on a journey to destroy the Creator Lady—the last temple she, Alice, left behind in this world.
—That is, the group of 'heroes' who were just wiped out by Alice.
Alice finished reading.
She roughly understood what had happened during this long period of time, and she also knew the logic behind this unusual time travel phenomenon. But before she could bring an end to everything, she had one last test to complete.
She found a seat in the library that wasn't exactly secluded, but wasn't under direct surveillance. She sat down, dispelled her disguise spell, and quietly waited for an extra fifteen minutes.
