As for how they left? Just look at the Quinjet fighters that kept appearing and you'll understand.

"So, it's over?" Tony had expected another battle, but he didn't expect S.H.I.E.L.D. to just slink away with their tails between their legs like that.

It's a bit boring.

“If you want to fight, I’ll arrange for Hulk to fight you when we get back,” Diana said, glancing at Tony.

Tony thought of Bruce Banner, who was currently directing construction at the Insight Base, and shrank back: "No, no. Let me build something big first, then I'll test my skills against that big guy."

Diana pouted and walked towards the crater left by Red Hulk after she had thrown him away.

Looking at Red Hulk—no, General Ross—who had returned to his human form, Diana said nothing. She simply summoned the Sword of Vulcan back into her hand and leaped in front of General Ross.

"It seems you've made up your mind to kill me. But what will you do if Bruce Banner finds out you killed his girlfriend's father?" General Ross said with a hint of smugness. After all, his daughter was Bruce Banner's girlfriend.

“Then I’ll just find him a new girlfriend. At least that redhead who was with Nick Fury today was pretty good,” Diana said coldly. “Besides, didn’t they already break up?”

General Ross tried to say something, but Diana had already swiftly swung her sword and severed his head.

Then two incredibly violent bolts of lightning struck the crater where the Gamma Legion had perished, while another bolt turned General Ross's body to ashes.

“Tony, you go back first. I’m going to come back again. At least we can’t let them get any more of this stuff’s genes.”

Without a word, Tony piloted his armor and flew away.

After Diana thought Tony was gone, she unleashed her lightning once more, washing away every possible source of those guys' genes.

Diana repeated this process three times.

Then, he slightly bent his knees and leaped straight into the sky.

An hour after Diana left, a man with silver-white arms arrived.

“No body, nothing at all,” the man said, pressing his earpiece.

Meanwhile, Diana had already returned to New York and had just landed on her own balcony when she saw Wanda waving at her.

He walked toward Wanda, intending to explain where he had gone, but Wanda interrupted him.

“Pietro won’t drink my soup, and neither will Gugu.”

Chapter 87 The Two Kids' Study Problems and S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Operations

Looking at the pot of something she couldn't tell what it was made of, Diana frankly admitted she was hesitant to take a bite. In her more than five thousand years of life, she had never seen anything like it.

It's thick and has some white foam on top. Although the color isn't too scary, what's with the bubbles rising from the bottom every now and then?

Wanda seemed completely oblivious to how inhumane her creations were; instead, she stared hopefully at Diana, wishing that Diana would drink what she had made.

Not far away, around the corner, a white-haired figure peeked out, watching the two people in the kitchen with some concern. He had personally experienced the mess his own sister had made.

All I can say is that this isn't for normal people.

Diana could only smile slightly at Wanda, pick up the spoon beside her, and try to eat the thing.

"It's alright, there's still room for improvement." Diana pretended to be nonchalant as she swallowed the unidentified object. "I'll do it with you next time, believe me."

The little witch was clearly excited watching Diana eat the soup she had made. However, she also knew that her cooking probably wasn't very good, otherwise Pietro and Goose wouldn't have refused to eat it.

"I'll make even tastier things," the little witch said confidently to Diana. Her pretty little face was filled with determination.

Diana smiled at the little witch, patted her head, and said, "I believe in you. You'll be fine."

He turned to look at the white-haired boy who was secretly observing him.

"Pietro, come here too, I need to talk to you about something," Diana said, beckoning to Pietro as if she were beckoning a small animal.

But Pietro still obediently walked up to Diana.

"As long as it's not Wanda's soup, I'll agree to anything." Pietro now has a deep-seated trauma regarding Wanda's soup. Eating it once feels like it shortens your lifespan by several years.

Wanda was naturally resentful of her brother's words and stomped hard on Pietro.

Pietro made no attempt to dodge; after all, she was his sister, so he figured he might as well step on her once.

"Hiss..." Pietro gasped, he really hadn't expected his sister to kick so hard this time.

It means he has decent self-control right now, otherwise he would definitely be jumping up and down while clutching his feet.

Diana observed the interaction between the two siblings but said nothing. She simply watched the two little ones with a smile on her lips.

Feeling Diana's gaze, Wanda lowered her head somewhat embarrassed, while Pietro was still enduring his pain.

“Actually, what I want to tell you this time is very simple. You haven’t received much education before, so…” Diana was interrupted by Wanda before she could finish speaking.

"Are we going to school?" Wanda was actually quite looking forward to going to school, but she was also worried that others would notice that she was different from them.

Pietro, however, had no interest in school. The white-haired boy pouted and said, "I don't think school can teach me anything, and as a superhuman, school can't teach me how to develop my abilities."

Diana looked at Pietro with a hint of annoyance.

Those who knew Diana would be astonished to see such an expression. After all, for Diana to make such an expression was a momentous event.

Pietro was clearly not one of those guys. Sensing Diana's displeasure with his words, the unconventional white-haired boy wisely lowered his head as an apology.

Diana was quite satisfied with Pietro's prompt admission of his mistake, and then continued, "I know you all have your own ideas, and as someone with superpowers, you might think that developing your abilities is the most important thing."

Diana placed her hands on the two little ones' shoulders and said, "You need to go out and make some friends, don't you? Whether you're an ordinary person or a superhuman, you need friends."

Wanda nodded seriously, as if she agreed with Diana's words. Pietro, on the other hand, kept his head down, as if counting the patterns on the floor beneath his feet.

“Listen, I don’t mind you making friends, but there’s one condition,” Diana said solemnly, stroking the cheeks of the two little ones in front of her.

Both little ones looked at Diana.

"You're not allowed to associate with shady characters," Diana said seriously, looking into the eyes of the two children.

The two little ones looked at each other and then nodded emphatically to Diana.

“Your foundation is too weak, you can’t go to school right now, and besides, it’s not the start of the school year,” Diana said with a smile to the two little ones. “But I happen to know a smart guy who should be able to help you catch up on your studies.”

Pietro said somewhat uncertainly, "You're not talking about Stark, are you?"

Shaking her head, Diana said, "It's not him, it's someone else, someone you probably haven't met. His name is Bruce Banner."

Wanda patted her chest, breathed a sigh of relief, and said, "It's good that it's not Stark."

"Alright, go wash up. Tutoring starts tomorrow." Diana patted the two little ones on the shoulder, telling them to go to their respective rooms to wash up and go to bed.

The two little ones obediently went to their respective rooms.

Once Diana was sure the two little ones had gone to their respective rooms, she picked up what Wanda had made and dumped it all down the drain.

It must be said that the little witch truly lived up to her name; what she created almost overwhelmed Diana. Of course, not physically, but mentally.

Diana even felt like her stomach was acting up, like someone else had eaten something bad. But she knew perfectly well that her body couldn't possibly be experiencing this. The only plausible explanation was that what her daughter had created was simply too inexplicable, causing her immense mental distress.

"From now on, the only option is to keep Wanda away from the kitchen." Diana rubbed her stomach, feeling the discomfort gradually subside.

"It would be simpler to just fight the maniac."

After cleaning up all the traces in the kitchen, Diana returned to her own room.

I carefully washed off the bloodstains from my body. It was only because Wanda had cooked soup today that I realized I hadn't been found out, given that I had only cleaned myself up a little on the way back.

The rising steam in the bathroom blocked out what everyone wanted to see, leaving only her flat stomach and smooth calves visible.

While Diana was enjoying her bath, the atmosphere at S.H.I.E.L.D. was anything but relaxed; everyone seemed to be carrying a heavy burden.

There's nothing we can do; today, the most powerful person in the world has taken action against their bureau chief.

Nick Fury was just wheeled out of the operating room; he was still asleep due to general anesthesia.

However, in the S.H.I.E.L.D. conference room, all of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s senior agents were present in this flashback. Also present was Alexander Pierce, the Secretary General of the World Security Council.

Captain America, Steve Rogers, one of the parties involved, and Thor Odinson, who was in charge of the so-called divine affairs, were also present.

The photo on the big screen was of Diana, but this Diana was not in armor in battle mode; rather, it was a photo of her in an elegant red dress.

Steve never imagined that the woman who could kick him away so easily would be such an exquisitely beautiful woman, almost unreal. After all, Diana was basically covered in Red Hulk's blood at the time. Although there weren't any stains on her face, no one would have cared whether Diana was pretty or not in that situation.

Thinking of the immense power within this woman's body, Steve couldn't help but lower his head and begin to ponder.

Unlike everyone else present, Thor simply surveyed everyone around him calmly, then closed his eyes. He didn't want to offer any opinion; a group of mortals had intruded into the battlefield of the gods, and Diana's decision not to kill them on the spot was a testament to her mercy.

Pierce keenly sensed everyone's attitude and clapped his hands. Only when everyone's eyes were on him did Pierce officially begin the meeting.

"Now, this woman..."

“It is God.” Thor didn’t even open his eyes, but corrected Pierce’s address.

“Okay, it’s a god.” Pierce wasn’t dissatisfied, after all, the guy who spoke was, strictly speaking, a god as well.

"This 'god' has already attacked the current director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.H.I.E.L.D.'s field agents during today's operation. How should we define whether this 'god' poses a threat to us or even the world?" Pierce crossed his arms, his gaze fixed intently on all the attendees.

No one around spoke; they were all lost in thought, watching the story of Diana on the big screen.

From the initial killing of field agents, the annihilation of the Hand, the dismantling of the Iron Monger, the unilateral torture and killing of Abomination, and the beating of the so-called Hercules, all the way to the massacre of the military's Gamma Legion and the killing of former Air Force Lieutenant General Ross, every single detail of these events was displayed on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s big screen. All that was missing was a vividly narrated commentary.

After some thought, Maria Hill was the first to speak, saying, "I don't think this god is a threat. All her counterattacks and attacks are based on one premise: either they threaten the safety of her surroundings, or they threaten herself. So as long as we abandon any unrealistic ideas, this god will not be anyone's enemy. She can even become an ally."

Hill's idea was excellent, and even Thor, who had been resting with his eyes closed, couldn't help but give her a thumbs up.

However, this is not a good idea for other S.H.I.E.L.D. members.

A super nuclear bomb capable of destroying any country in the world at will, even if it appears anywhere in this country, is an invisible threat. At least, that's what they think.

Although, in the comics, this guy has always been a superhero who stands on the side of humanity.

Pierce did not express any opinion on Hill's idea, and even if he did, he would wait for others to finish expressing their views before reaching a consensus.

“As an agent, Hill, you always think too highly of things. Everything has its hidden side, even a god.” A man stood up and carefully straightened his suit. “As the head of the research team on Wonder Woman, I know very well what this goddess who stepped out of the comics is like.”

“Chief Fury has already stated that comics cannot be used as a basis for judging Diana. We have no way of knowing which character from the comics this Diana is, and any problems that arise could become an uncontrollable disaster,” Hill said, slamming her hand on the table.

Why provoke a situation that could be resolved simply by avoiding conflict? Isn't that just courting death?

"Oh, don't be nervous, Agent Hill," the man said slowly and deliberately.

Pierce waved to Hill, gesturing for her to sit down.

Hill could only sit down and watch the clown's performance.

“Steve Rogers, our Captain America.” The man left the conference table, walked behind Steve, and placed his hands on Steve’s shoulders.

Steve wasn't quite sure what they were talking about, but he had occasionally heard the name Wonder Woman. After all, she was created during World War II, and the comic book series had featured her.
