Ark Undead

His master locked himself in his room for two days without eating; it was rare for him to have such a strong emotional outburst.
That wasn't directed at a knight, but at the nation; that sense of loss stemmed from a feeling of powerlessness in the face of the nation's gradual decay.
"In other words, the Business Alliance will not stop targeting you. You may continue to face obstruction from the Business Alliance for some time to come, and things like what happened today will not stop. They do not want to see a second Radiant Knight appear."
"And Chengjin Company will eventually compromise because of the business alliance, forcing you to pay off the contract to bring them profits, or they will completely blacklist you. Because if they want to do business in Kazimierz, they can't afford to have a falling out with the business alliance."
As Gravel spoke, she was secretly observing the knight.
Judging from Mr. Undying's voice, he is no longer young. He should know the consequences of his actions and what he will eventually face.
She was curious about what the immortals would ultimately choose.
"Our master has come up with a few solutions for you."
"speak."
The Undead nodded, letting Gravel speak.
Li cleared her throat, as if she were making some preparations, and then she spoke.
Her voice was still very gentle and pleasant, but her tone had become very old-fashioned.
“Tell that guy that if he wants to continue participating in the Knights Tournament, prove his strength, and gain greater fame and status, he should accept Chengjin Company’s terms and become a member of the business league. That way, he won’t face any threats until the end of the entire Major.”
"Or, simply leave Kazimierz and stop pursuing higher knightly honors. This is the simplest and most permanent solution. To prove yourself as a great knight, you don't need to gain recognition in knightly competitions!"
"The third path is to fight to the death, to fight those idiots in the business alliance to the very end! But if he goes down this path, I would suggest that he withdraw from Chengjin Company and compete as an independent knight in his own name. Otherwise, if Chengjin Company trips him up and he announces his withdrawal from the tournament in the last two days, then all the points he has accumulated will have to be rebuilt."
Gravel cleared her throat again, coughed lightly twice, and looked back at the undead over there.
"That's what the master said."
"..."
The immortal thought for a moment, then shook his head.
"I'm not leaving."
"So you're going to continue participating in the Knights Tournament?"
Gravel asked curiously.
"What is your decision? Will you accept the company's contract?"
In fact, Gravel, as a knight of Kazimierz, was also searching for his own answer.
She didn't become a knight voluntarily; she was abducted to Kazimierz. Fortunately, she met a kind lord who not only gave her the title of knight but also a new life where she could walk in the sunlight.
Except for the occasional work requirement that would bring her back to the shadows.
However, she did not find the knightly honor that belonged to her.
The choice for the Undead now is simply to choose sides.
Gravel's master told the Undead that if he intended to go against the Business Alliance, he would have to face their obstruction. Accepting the contract would mean siding with the Business Alliance.
According to Gravel, her master actually greatly admired independent knights like Radiant Knight.
Although the Undead didn't understand the reason, it was clear that the old man didn't get along with the business alliance group.
However, this question has a very simple answer. For the immortals, there is only one answer.
The immortal shook his head again, saying things weren't that complicated.
"It's very simple, just hit it."
The Undead looked back at the campfire, and at that moment, he remembered something else.
As his memories gradually became clearer, four figures appeared in his mind, all of whom had a place in ancient legends.
Those four knights, regardless of their fate, at least walked their own paths.
Even the immortals must follow their simplest reason for participating in the knightly tournament.
"I promised one person that I would get the equipment he built into the Major."
"So you won't agree to any contracts to replace weapons and equipment?"
After listening to what the Undead had to say, Gravel roughly understood why the Undead hadn't accepted a single contract so far.
"Then you'd better be careful, the business alliance won't let this go."
Gravel placed his hands in front of the campfire, savoring the last bit of warmth, before standing up.
"gone?"
"The immortal asked."
"Yes, thank you for your reply. I will go back and tell my husband the truth."
Gravel came to the window, and just as she was about to jump out, she paused at the window.
The female knight of the Zalak tribe turned around, bowed to the undead again, and offered her heartfelt blessings.
"I hope you stick to whatever decisions you make, and I wish you all the best in reaching the top. I'm sure my husband will be very happy for you then."
After saying that, Gravel leaned against the windowsill and jumped out of the immortal's room.
"..."
The immortal man had intended to call out to her.
Why insist on using the window? Wouldn't it be better to use the door?
However, Li's arrival today revealed some special information to him.
It seems that not everyone likes the changes that have made Kazimierz to its current state.
At least there is still a group of knights who are willing to look back on the past and cherish those hard-won glories.
Furthermore, it served as a warning to him, as it was unwilling to see a knight who cherished honor perish in Casimir.
The Undead rested his right hand on his knee, staring at the dazzling campfire.
Should I withdraw from Chengjin Company?
The firewood crackled and popped, and the Undead fell into deep thought.

Hey, here it comes!
This is the first time I've written something this early in the day. I was completely stunned when the editor told me it was going to be published.
In the past, when I wrote books, they were always published when they reached 20 to 30 words.
I'm most used to publishing my book when it's around 30 words, but this time, I've only been publishing for two weeks and I'm already thinking about what to write for the book launch message.
However, I really don't know what to write.
This book wasn't something I decided on a whim. I was already thinking about whether or not to write about Arknights and Dark Souls at the beginning of the year.
I've done a lot of preparation for this, such as rewatching videos by various Soulsology experts and checking out plot analyses and other stuff by Arknights scholars.
But even now, I still feel that there are many things that need to be carefully considered, and even Zhouzhou itself has some flaws that I have to find ways to cover them up.
But none of that matters, since I've made a habit of drastically altering worldviews. I'll definitely give everyone a relatively reasonable explanation when the time comes!
As for the main theme of this book, I have already mentioned it before.
I'm going to write a novel that doesn't quite resemble the typical invincible protagonist story.
Essentially, this is a lighthearted, enjoyable read.
Ah, right, a light novel.
As long as I'm happy.
Whether it's the plot, the character interactions, or the battle scenes, I'll try my best to make it as enjoyable as possible for everyone.
As for the issue of the female lead and the knife that many people are concerned about.
As for the female lead, what does an immortal person need a wife for?
If campfires were personified, the Undead would want to hug them every day, regardless of whether they were male or female. (Losing their minds)
As for knives, some changes are unavoidable, so you have to use them.
Personally, I will revise those unreasonable tragic scenes. Some tragic scenes will be withdrawn, and some will be made less tragic.
There's nothing we can do about it!
Terra is, after all, a continent where people eat each other. If the plot doesn't deliver some heart-wrenching moments, many parts of the story just can't continue!
All I can guarantee is that this will be a book full of positive energy and uplifting stories!
Okay, I don't have anything else to say about the other issues.
Anyway, up to now, I've tried my best to maintain the tradition of updating twice a day, with a minimum of 3000 words per chapter.
I won't make many changes to this, just the update time will be a bit more irregular.
Today, because I have to write a post-launch message, I don't get many opportunities to update in the mortal realm. (The underworld ecstatic)
That's about it.
Finally, I'd like to ask for your votes again.
Monthly tickets, recommendation tickets, anything goes! Please, everyone!
I also hope all my readers will support me when it's released! I was hoping to get a good recommendation, so please don't hold back! The recommendation will depend on the average daily subscriptions over the next few days!
Wishing all students who have finished the college entrance examination a wonderful holiday!
I wish all college and high school students a final grade that will satisfy both their families and themselves.
Wishing all you office workers a summer full of energy, promotions and raises, and the chance to find your dream partner—the kind you can bring home to meet your parents at the end of the year.
Goodnight everyone!
