"So how are you going to thank me?"
"Just tell me what you want, because I don't get many chances to owe you a favor."
"Then please put down your guard against me."
"Only this is impossible."
"You're being really mean. I've been so sincere with you."
"Sincere? I don't think Alice would come to you crying, but she wouldn't tell you such embarrassing stories in such detail, would she?"
Dekan raised an eyebrow; he had long suspected that Mier was bluffing him.
"Oops, we've been found out."
Mier remained completely calm, her fingertips touching her lips as she smiled slightly.
"Humph."
Dekan decided to leave decisively, picked up his book, and walked away without looking back.
Mir didn't try to stop him, but simply said behind his back, "Are you interested in making poisons?"
"How could that be? What decent person would spend all day making poison?"
Although Dekan paused slightly, he continued walking.
"You borrowed the highly toxic concoctions ① and ②, didn't you?"
Mir's light, airy voice rang out in the quiet classroom.
Dekan finally stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Mier.
Mier picked up a book and waved it at him; it was about the preparation of highly poisonous substances.
Dekan's brow furrowed slightly, then quickly relaxed.
What followed was a genuine smile.
Mier smiled calmly.
I recognized the look in their eyes; they are kind-hearted people.
The two seemed to be making friends through books.
Say it earlier.
If you enjoy crafting highly toxic substances, then you are my family.
What's wrong with joking around?
Dekan: "Shall we discuss this further together?"
Mir: "No problem."
The sense of distance between the two seemed to vanish instantly.
It was as if two like-minded researchers sat down at the experimental table, preparing the equipment again while exchanging ideas.
Mi: "Don't you think it's a shame that the poison we just used only produced an antidote?"
De: "Do you have other ideas?"
Mi: "We can create an antidote to improve the poison. The weakness of this new poison is that it is too easy to be neutralized. If we can successfully improve it, it will be perfect."
De: "Great minds think alike. I can also analyze toxins and combine their principles with poison magic to use in card making."
Mi: "Hmph, I also have some self-created poison magic and potion recipes, but unfortunately I'm not good at card making. If I were with you, maybe we could make some interesting cards together."
De: "Then what are we waiting for? We have to produce some results today, no matter what. We're not leaving until it's dark."
......
The sky was tinged with a faint red, and the pharmacy classroom was already somewhat dim.
The empty classroom was now empty except for the two of them.
There was an atmosphere that stirred up quite a bit of imagination.
They were all so focused that they didn't notice the strange atmosphere.
Once he got into research mode, even Mier became unusually serious.
"Dong dong!"
"You need to leave this classroom."
It wasn't until an alchemy professor walked in from outside and reminded them that they looked up and realized the classroom was empty.
And I also feel a bit hungry.
It's easy to lose track of time when you're doing something you're interested in, especially when you have like-minded friends around you.
"It seems this is the only way for today."
Dekan sighed and reluctantly put down the refining bottle in his hand.
Classrooms and laboratories will soon be locked up.
After all, this is not a library, which stores many medicines and is subject to strict regulations.
It will not be open to students on Saturdays and Sundays unless there are teachers on duty.
"But our research is hitting the nail on the head, isn't it?"
Mir said, frowning.
Dekan: "Do you have any good ideas?"
Mir: "Come to my room. I've converted the storage room into a potion lab. If you don't have anything to do today, you can stay until night."
Dekan asked hesitantly, "Until night?"
Because Mier always had a smile on his face, Dekan really couldn't figure out what this man was thinking.
Mir retorted, "If I don't mind, do you?"
Dekan: "......"
Mier: "How can our scientific research spirit be abandoned halfway?"
Dekan: "That's true, let's go!"

What's wrong? I can't send it.
It turns out that chapters need to be at least 100 words to be published, so it looks like I can't do anything fancy. (Just kidding!)
Although the three-word launch message is quite cool, there's still a lot I want to say to everyone, and three words simply can't express it all.
First of all, thank you so much for your support! Everyone who has read this far is like my half-brother or half-sibling!
This is my second book, truly my second book as a human being. I've never used a different pseudonym, and I've never deleted even a few thousand or tens of thousands of words. I'm the kind of person who will never publish a book if it doesn't pass internal review; I value stability.
The previous book was written in a very immature way. When I look back at it now, I often think, "How could I write it like this?" or "Oh dear, isn't this just asking for trouble?" At the time, I hadn't even figured out my own style, which made the writing style and the plot seem particularly incongruous.
When I first started writing the book, I was in a misleading phase where I thought I was pretty good. Later, I gradually realized that my writing was terrible, and I had already gained a lot of exposure. The problem really was my own fault.
After accepting reality, I learned from my mistakes, diligently reviewed the bestseller lists, studied and analyzed the works of the masters, revised them repeatedly, and began writing my second book.
I didn't have any expectations for this book at the beginning. I just hoped it would be an improvement over my previous book and that I could write over a million words to continue accumulating experience. As a result, this book now has almost 100 favorites. I never dared to do this before. Really, even when you're dreaming, you have to be steady and not jump too big all at once.
But please rest assured, good results won't go to my head. I'm an overly cautious person; I don't even dare to offer a reward, for fear of not being able to pay it all back, nor do I dare to make reckless promises. Poor results won't affect my mindset either. My last book had over 500 initial subscriptions, and over 100 follow-up subscriptions in the last few days, but I still honestly finished writing it.
I'm actually quite afraid that I won't be able to write a compelling storyline and will let everyone down. There are always creative blocks when it comes to creating entertaining content. I can only try my best to think more, find inspiration, and revise more every day to live up to everyone's support. I just want to create more entertaining content and give everyone more sweet moments. I can't possibly step on the gas in the main story; I've reformed (for safety).
Including the 70 words of the old book and the more than 10 words of this book, I have only written more than 80 words so far. Therefore, I still have a serious lack of experience in many areas, and there is much room for improvement in writing style, word choice, sentence structure, and many other aspects.
The area I most need to improve is pacing. I can feel this myself, and the gap between me and the masters is quite significant. I can't yet achieve that smooth, flowing rhythm control; in fact, my pacing feels rather haphazard. This isn't something that can be completely changed overnight. Partly due to a lack of experience, and partly because I haven't yet grasped the key point. I will reflect on this repeatedly, and while writing, I will also read and learn more to provide a better reading experience for everyone.
This book is still my first attempt at writing, and I hope everyone will witness my progress in the future!
Everyone's opinions and suggestions are very valuable to me. Although I cannot revise the article according to the ideas of individual readers in many places, I will carefully analyze and consider each suggestion, and it often inspires me. Every suggestion you make is not a waste of your time or mine; they will all have value and a positive impact on this book.
Please feel free to offer any suggestions or feedback on the new chapters. While it's difficult to correct problems immediately, it will help me understand where the issues lie and where improvements are needed. I received many valuable suggestions for my previous book, which ultimately helped me establish my own style.
I've been watching the spy posts all day; it's a high-intensity way for me to spy on things in the background. One of my greatest pleasures every day is watching the spy posts in the background.
A huge thank you to Sister Nanxi! She's been helping me with my manuscript since I started writing my new book. Even though she's very busy, she always replies quickly whenever I contact her. I don't know if she'll see this, but I still want to shout it out again: Sister Nanxi is forever amazing!
Special thanks to PORO, my author friend, who has given me a lot of guidance from the beginning until now. He pointed out many problems that I hadn't even realized I had. We are truly brothers in arms, supporting each other through thick and thin. Without his help in proofreading, this book would probably have been criticized in many places. He pointed out many logical flaws, awkward plots, and illogical parts.
P.S. Feedback from yesterday's small survey:
关于校园篇和影世界篇的分配占比问题,支持1比2或者1.5比1以及1比1的读者都较多。
First, let me explain that the proportions of the plot will not be fixed like chemical formulas; they will ultimately be flexibly adjusted according to the actual development of the plot.
I analyzed the reasons why readers who prefer the 1:2 and 1.5:1 ratios made this choice.
For those who support "more of the Shadow World," wanting to see more of the protagonist's underhanded tactics, a feasible optimization solution, without significantly increasing the length of the Shadow World arc, is to make the protagonist's actions even more underhanded in the real world arc. While the protagonist will have a bottom line in the real world, there are some enemies who don't require consideration of that bottom line, and there will also be characters who seek to cause harm. With a larger map, there will always be a few reckless fools who don't know their own limits.
Those who prefer a more campus-themed storyline might enjoy a lighter, more cheerful narrative, while also needing the real-world episodes to contrast with the shadowy atmosphere of the shadow world. One possible optimization is to increase character interaction within the shadow world. The first instance felt too much like a single-player game due to the limited number of participants and the absence of the protagonist's companions.
Therefore, the following ideas have emerged:
① The school-themed arc focuses more on card-making and battle (underworld) elements.
②The Shadow World arc optimizes character interactions and avoids a single-player feel in terms of plot, making it closer to the real world.
③ Optimize the alternation frequency of the two types of texts to make the combination more natural.
④ Sister Card Up Up
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to give me feedback through posts or comments!
Since it will be available tomorrow, the update time will be around 11 a.m., and will then return to 7 a.m.
