050 Mir's Magic House

After having dinner together, the two went to Mia's dormitory.

This was Dekan's first time visiting the Alchemy Institute's dormitory building.

After a simple registration with the administrator, Dekan was allowed to enter the Alchemy Institute dormitory.

The overall structure is not much different from the Knights College dormitory building.

The only difference is the configuration of the shops and public facilities.

"We're not going to run into Alice, are we?"

Dekan asked as he walked down the stairwell.

Mir is a second-year student and has mentioned that he lives next door to Alice.

We might run into each other soon.

If Alice sees her best friend bring Dekan into the room, her expression will definitely be quite interesting.

Mi: "Don't worry, Alice is in the library right now. She'll be working extra hard for the next few days. Well, she's always been a serious student, though."

Germany: "Are you sure?"

Mi: "Don't worry, I know Alice very well."

Germany: "That's good."

Mi: "...Why do I get the feeling that you're a little disappointed?"

Germany: "How could that be?"

Mier chuckled and then stopped observing Dekan's expression.

There weren't many girls in the hallway at that time, and it wasn't unusual to see male visitors as well.

After all, alchemy students are engaged in academic research.

Even during breaks, students often come to my door to discuss research topics.

However, Dekan is too conspicuous.

After all, he was someone who was at the height of his fame.

To avoid gossip, Mir led Dekan on a slightly roundabout route.

She seemed to be able to detect very clearly whether there was anyone nearby.

So Dekan followed her without encountering anyone along the way, and arrived at Mier's dormitory.

After Mier opened the door, Dekan finally saw what the girls' dormitory looked like.

The dormitory's structure was similar to Dekan's own, and it was exceptionally clean.

It seems that Mier's lifestyle is similar to his.

"Please come in."

After gesturing for Dekan to enter, Mier quickly followed and closed the door behind him.

Then Mia started rummaging through the shoe cabinet in the entryway.

"Hmm, my slippers are a little small. I'll bring yours next time."

Mir searched for a moment and finally took out the loosest pair of cloth slippers and placed them on the ground.

Dekan should be barely usable.

"next time?"

Dekan was slightly puzzled.

Should I become a regular customer?

"Yes, and I'll also prepare a set for you, such as your toothbrush cup and towel."

"Wait, this is getting weirder. My question is—will I come here often?"

"Is there a better laboratory than this one?"

Mier led Dekan into the living room and opened the door to the storeroom.

Inside, a fully-equipped small pharmaceutical laboratory was revealed, comparable to those in a school laboratory, and even equipped with basic card-making equipment.

Compared to the pharmacy classroom, the Mier Laboratory might be more suited to the needs of the two toxicologists.

This place is open 24 hours a day, so you won't be disturbed.

It is clearly the best research site for them.

"If you don't mind, I don't mind either."

Dekan's gaze seemed to be locked onto the laboratory, and it took him a few seconds before he looked at Mier again.

He couldn't possibly dislike such a great laboratory.

My relationship with Mir was fairly pleasant.

Aside from being a little strange, she's actually fine.

Mir was still looking at him with a smile.

She seemed to have anticipated Dekan's thoughts.

Tea or coffee?

Mier walked toward the dining table and asked.

"Coffee bar."

"Ah."

A few minutes later, a faint, pleasant aroma of coffee wafted through the living room.

Mier skillfully made coffee for Dekan and placed it on the coffee table in front of him.

She seems to be quite used to entertaining guests.

It's likely that Alice often visits Mia's house.

"Then I'll go take a shower first."

After setting down the tray, Mier untied the hair tie from his head and smiled at Dekan.

"it is good."

Dekan didn't know what to say; something just felt off.

Actually, there's nothing wrong with it...

After all, some people are used to taking a shower as the first thing they do when they get home after a day's work.

Mier just chuckled, stopped talking to Dekan, and went into the bathroom.

"..."

Dekan looked at the coffee, lost in thought.

Then he picked it up and leisurely savored it.

About ten minutes later, Mier pushed open the bathroom door.

After washing himself, Mir seemed to be in a pretty good mood.

She changed into a nightgown, looking as beautiful as a lotus emerging from the water.

"Phew, that feels so good. Dekan, are you going to take a shower before you do your experiment too?"

"No, it's not convenient."

They are conducting legitimate experiments.

Dekan is now eager to continue their research in the classroom.

"Wait for me a moment, we'll go to the lab."

Mia sat on the sofa combing her hair, looking very relaxed and lazy.

Her pajamas were much looser than her school uniform, and the fragrance emanating from her, mixed with the dampness, lingered around Dekan for a moment.

"The coffee was great; next time I'll gladly try the tea."

Dekan leaned back on the sofa and said.

"Hehe, you've completely let your guard down. You were so wary of me at the beginning."

Mier glanced at Dekan's finished coffee and said with a smile.

"Yes, after all, you are dangerous and mysterious. But since I have chosen to be friends with you, I will trust you as a friend."

Dekan looked at Mier, and compared to the beginning, there was a hint of a smile in his eyes.

This surprised Mir.

He then gave a helpless smile.

"You're really generous. I knew I hadn't misjudged you. Let's go, let's have a good fight all night long!"

She quickly moved a little closer to Dekan, smiled, and patted his shoulder.

"Don't make doing academic work sound so mysterious."

After a brief chat, the two finally went into the laboratory together and closed the door.

......

The two worked together to develop an antidote for the new type of poison used in the classroom, while exchanging their experiences with antidotes and anti-purification methods.

"By the way, have you figured out how to improve your spell card, Poison Spikes?"

Mir suddenly remembered the card that Dekan had used at the Demon Academy.

It's also the card she's most interested in.
