"Motherfucker!!! What the hell are you guys doing?!"
"Don't move! Don't move! My bullets don't have eyes!"
Under the thick smoke, both sides suddenly tensed up, exchanging polite and amicable greetings.
Fortunately, the leaders of both sides kept things under control, which prevented a full-blown fight.
As the leaders, they both knew very well that the transaction had gone smoothly and there was absolutely no need to do something like this. Moreover, judging from their reactions just now, both of them were completely at a loss, so there must have been a third-party intervention.
“Hey, brothers, this isn’t our doing! If you guys don’t understand either, then it means there are other bastards causing trouble!” the Mexican drug cartel leader shouted.
The thick smoke made it impossible for them to see the specific situation inside the factory or the location of the other party, so they could only communicate using this primitive method of shouting.
Listening to the Mexican drug lord's slightly accented shouts, the arms dealer made a corresponding assessment of the current emergency.
So he shouted back, "There must be other bastards trying to sabotage our deal. We can't fall into their trap!"
"Be careful, they might still have..."
The leader's words were abruptly cut off before he could finish speaking, leaving only a faint groan.
This situation left the Mexican drug traffickers somewhat bewildered. They could only hear some noises around them, but they couldn't quite figure out what was going on.
"Get your gear ready, stay close together, and be on your guard," the drug lord warned his companion.
Hearing his reminder, the drug dealers gripped their guns tighter and cautiously watched the smoke-filled surroundings.
"No matter who you are, you've really messed with us now." The drug lord said, gripping his submachine gun tightly, ready to pull the trigger at any moment.
"As long as you're in Mexico, you absolutely cannot escape. We will find you, and then..."
Before he could finish speaking, a dark figure darted out of the smoke, and then his head slid off his shoulder, rolling to the ground and splattering blood.
In a total of 1 minute and 57 seconds, all 37 target criminals were eliminated, meeting the mission requirements of minimal disturbance and swift action.
Chapter 69, Unofficial Staff
"From start to finish, the entire operation took one minute and fifty-seven seconds, and then the mission was completed..."
"Nineteen arms dealers and eighteen Mexican drug traffickers are all dead..."
Phil Coulson sat on the right side below the large screen, watching the video finish playing while he explained Holm's progress in completing the mission.
"Although I've seen it many times, I'm still shocked every time I see it. 37 criminals were taken care of in less than two minutes. To be honest, even killing a chicken wouldn't be that fast."
"It has to be said that the current Clint agents have surpassed their previous excellence and are starting to become unbelievable," Phil Coulson concluded.
"Has the world changed so fast? I remember it was only three days after I went on my mission." A red-haired woman exuding a charming and sexy aura said, resting her chin on her hand, sitting on the left side of the conference room table.
After saying that, she kicked the chair of the short-haired man sitting in front of her and asked curiously, "Barton, can you take down 37 people in less than two minutes?"
"Don't kick my chair, Natasha." Barton pulled his chair forward, then frowned and said thoughtfully, "Using some special methods might work, but something like what's shown in the video probably won't."
After saying that, he paused and then added, "As far as I know, there shouldn't be anyone in S.H.I.E.L.D. who can do that right now."
"By the way, is that black, liquid-like thing a new type of weapon?" Natasha asked curiously as soon as Patton finished speaking.
"That's his special ability; details are confidential." Nick Fury, sitting at the end of the long table opposite the large screen, answered the question on behalf of Phil Coulson.
Upon hearing Nick Fury's words, Natasha and Barton understood the situation; it seemed this Level 7 agent was no ordinary Level 7 agent.
"If it's supposed to be a secret, then what's the point of showing us this video?" Natasha was a little confused.
If it's supposed to be a secret, then why not just keep it a secret forever? Why show it to her and Patton? It can't be to motivate them, can it?
Although Barton didn't speak, his expression suggested he shared the same confusion as Natasha.
Seeing this, Nick Fury didn't keep him in suspense any longer and raised his hand to invite Phil Coulson.
Seeing this, Phil Coulson cleared his throat and said, "I've assembled a special team to handle special missions, and its members are all top-notch ace agents."
"Horm Clint is currently a member of this team, as is Daisy Johnson, so I would like to invite the two of you to join the team as well."
Hearing Philin Coulson's words, Natasha raised an eyebrow with interest and said, "A special team? That sounds interesting, but we both have a lot of regular missions. If we join your special team, how will we handle these things? We can't always be the same group of people on missions."
Listening to Natasha's words, Philin Coulson continued to explain, "Although we are nominally part of a special team, our regular missions are not restricted."
"You two are essentially special non-staff members. The team will only be deployed together when there is a special mission that requires the entire crew to be mobilized."
"Most tasks can be handled by Holm Clint and Daisy Johnson."
"I see." Natasha was rather uninterested in Philin Coulson's very proper thoughts and explanations.
"I thought that if I joined your special team, I wouldn't have to deal with other missions anymore. I was hoping to have more vacation time, but now it seems that it will only increase my workload."
Barton remained silent, but his silence also made Phil Coulson feel awkward.
He had originally planned to use Holm Clint to pique the interest of these two top agents and get them to join his special team.
To his surprise, both of them seemed uninterested, which was completely different from what he had imagined.
As expected of a seasoned veteran who has worked at S.H.I.E.L.D. for many years, nothing beats a relaxing vacation.
Thinking about this, Philon Coulson suddenly felt that Holm and Daisy's enthusiasm and dedication to their work were truly heartwarming; indeed, young people have a lot of drive.
“This… about the mission and the vacation… I don’t think I have much say in the decision…” Phil Coulson said, glancing at Nick Fury.
The things Natasha mentioned were beyond his authority. Although the two of them were not as high-ranking as him, he did not have the authority to assign tasks to these two top agents.
After Phil Coulson finished speaking, Natasha and Barton also turned to look at Nick Fury, the boss with the highest authority.
Meeting their gazes, Nick Fury pondered for a moment before saying in a deep voice, "Just as Coulson said, the two of you will join his special team as unofficial members. As for your other duties, I will make corresponding adjustments."
Even after Nick Fury finished speaking, Natasha continued to stare intently at him, her chin resting on her hand, while even Barton's gaze seemed to carry a hidden meaning.
Phil Coulson had thought the matter was over and had just put on his signature smile, but the silence made him realize that it wasn't over yet, so he quickly withdrew his smile.
After a moment of silence, Nick Fury looked at Natasha and Barton, then shrugged helplessly and said, "Alright, alright, I'll give you a few days off before you join the special team, is that alright?"
Listening to Nick Fury's words, Natasha leaned back in her chair and nodded in satisfaction, while Barton also smiled.
"The vacation was promised a long time ago, and it's only now being delivered. Why are you acting so helpless? If we didn't give him a vacation soon, Barton would hardly be able to find his way home," Natasha complained, looking at Nick Fury's helpless expression.
Nick Fury smiled and shook his finger, saying, "It's my fault. I'll make it up to Barton in other ways."
"And what about me? Are you going to give us a bonus?" Natasha asked, intrigued.
“You? You don’t have a family, so you either go shopping or to bars on your days off. Want a dozen free beers?” Nick Fury said, looking at her with his one eye.
Faced with Nick Fury's blatant discrimination, Natasha could only roll her eyes in response.
After the serious business was finished, the atmosphere in the meeting room became more relaxed.
After a few more casual words, Nick Fury waved his hand and said, "Alright, that's all for today's meeting. Natasha, you can stay behind."
Upon hearing this, Barton and Philin Coulson stood up and left the conference room, while Natasha, with a knowing look on her face, shifted her position and leaned back in her chair.

Chapter 70, A Chance Encounter
The entrance to a movie theater in Manhattan, New York.
As Holm threw the empty popcorn bucket into the trash can, he crumpled the movie ticket in his hand into a ball and said, "What a lousy movie, what a waste of my money."
After completing his task the day before yesterday, he had some free time, so he wandered around to pass the time and experience the life of a normal person.
The movie I just watched was because I was passing by a movie theater and realized I hadn't watched a movie in a while, so I brought Venom in to try and recapture the feeling of my past life.
To my surprise, the movie the ticket seller was so enthusiastically recommending turned out to be a complete flop; watching it almost made me throw up my dinner from the night before.
Unlike Holm's terrible mood, Venom was quite happy because he found the popcorn in the movie theater very delicious, making him very happy while eating it. As for the movie plot, he paid no attention to it at all.
Looking at the popcorn bucket that had already been thrown into the trash can, Venom smacked his lips with reluctance, clearly still wanting more.
How can I continue to eat popcorn?
“That movie wasn’t very good. Why don’t we watch another one? It would be such a shame to leave with such a bad mood,” Venom advised Holm.
It didn't want popcorn; it just wanted to see Holm upset because he'd watched a bad movie, so it wanted him to watch a good one instead.
That's right, that's it.
Holm was unaware of Venom's ulterior motives, so he began to seriously consider Venom's suggestion.
He felt very uncomfortable leaving the movie theater like that. He was very unwilling to accept that this was the end of the movie after such a long time away from watching movies.
Thinking of this, Holm glanced at the posters on the wall and finally fixed his gaze on a Hong Kong film in the corner.
Hoping that even if it was worse, it wouldn't be as ridiculous as the previous one, and that hearing a familiar language would offer some solace, Holm went to the movie theater again.
"Remember to buy popcorn! I want two servings, no! Three servings, hehehe!" Venom hurriedly reminded Holm, something so important couldn't be forgotten.
Seeing how eager Venom was, Holm finally realized that the guy just wanted popcorn and watching the movie was just an excuse.
However, it's rare for Venom to be interested in anything other than chocolate, so I'll just consider it a treat for it.
And so, Holm walked into the movie theater again with several large buckets of popcorn.
When he came out again, his expression was much happier.
This movie is really good. Although it follows the familiar formula of police and gangster films, it is still very exciting to watch.
Holm enjoyed the movie, and Venom enjoyed eating popcorn. It decided that popcorn would be its regular snack from now on, second only to chocolate.
After watching two movies in a row, the sun had already sunk below the horizon.
However, the darkness of night has not yet spread; what currently covers the earth is a brief, eerie blue.
Under this unique light, the otherwise ordinary street took on a cinematic quality.
Holm chatted with Venom as he strolled through the deepening night, and then, driven by a faint hunger, he randomly walked into a stylish-looking casual dining bar next door.
"A steak and a pasta... and make me a Moscow Mule..." Holm ordered a whole bunch of food from the menu, feeling like he could eat a whole cow.
His hunger intensified, especially after smelling the aroma of food in the restaurant.
"Cake, cake, why isn't my little cake here yet?" Venom was even more anxious than Holm, already getting impatient after just ordering.
"Didn't you just eat four buckets of popcorn? Are you that hungry?" Holm said with a hint of helplessness.
He said he could eat a whole cow, which was an exaggeration, but Venom really can eat a whole cow a day. Luckily, he has a high salary, otherwise, most people wouldn't be able to afford to feed Venom with his appetite.
