Author: Fallen Flowers Have Feelings, and People Have Righteousness
Summary:
Lu Mingfei, the number one loser in Kassel, had his life-changing moment when he picked up a white-haired elf at the arcade!
"My name is Frilian, and I come from the magical world," the silver-haired girl said, munching on his potato chips and casually patting his head.
"Miss, are you sure you haven't got the wrong person?"
----
However, this was only the beginning of a nightmare!
Now he not only has to slay the dragon, but also:
He taught the Millennium Spirit how to use a smartphone (and she ended up spending all his living expenses on it).
Stop her from taking the forbidden hot instant noodles (the kitchen explodes for the nth time).
The plausibility of including "magical girl" in the mission report (Professor Schneider has already drawn his sword).
----
The most terrible thing is--
“The bed is mine,” Frillie said, clutching her pillow with a self-righteous air.
"Then where will I sleep?"
"To be my body pillow~"

Chapter 1 Finding an Elf Girl on a Rainy Night
Raindrops danced a tap dance on the neon sign before reluctantly sliding down onto Lu Mingfei's umbrella. He hunched his shoulders; the collar of his school uniform was already soaked.
Evening self-study at Shilan Middle School had just ended, but he didn't want to go back to that empty house. His parents had gone abroad for business again, leaving him alone with his monthly allowance.
"Boss, thirty coins." Lu Mingfei slapped the crumpled twenty yuan on the counter and turned into the corner of the arcade to find the Street Fighter machine, which had the only one in the whole store with a sensitive joystick.
"It's you again, young man," the shopkeeper behind the counter said, taking the money without even looking up. "Do your parents know you come here every day?"
Lu Mingfei forced a weak smile: "They're busy."
That's not entirely wrong. His parents were archaeologists who spent their days digging up strange and unusual things all over the world.
He inserted the coin, selected a character, and planned to numb himself by playing fighting games all night. In the virtual world, he could at least be a fighting champion and utterly defeat his opponents.
Unlike in real life, he wasn't even given a second glance by the girls in his class.
He unleashed a perfect Rising Dragon Fist, causing a commotion at the doorway.
Lu Mingfei didn't even look up. These kinds of small arcades often had drunken young people causing trouble, so they weren't worth paying attention to.
"Where is this place?"
At that sound, Lu Mingfei's finger hovered over the button.
He turned his head and saw a silver-haired girl standing in the doorway, her soaked white robe clinging to her body, with a pair of pointed ears peeking out from her hair.
Their emerald green eyes shone like two tiny lamps in the dimly lit arcade.
The entire arcade fell silent for a few seconds. Several boys playing games stared wide-eyed, and even the proprietress dropped the sunflower seeds she was holding.
"Cosplay? You're pretty professional." The proprietress snapped out of her daze and grabbed another handful of sunflower seeds. "You need to buy tokens to play the machines."
The girl asked, puzzled, "Coins?"
The pronunciation was a bit awkward, as if it were the first time the word had been spoken.
"Hey, little girl, are you lost?" A young man with dyed yellow hair stood up and approached with ill intent. "Want me to take you home?"
The girl took a step back and reached for her waist with her right hand, where a crystal bottle was hanging.
Lu Mingfei recalled the legal program he had watched last week, which discussed cases of street thugs abducting young girls. Although he was usually incredibly timid, he didn't know where he got the courage, but he stood up.
“She’s my cousin, she came to see me.” Lu Mingfei walked over and subtly pulled the girl behind him. “It’s her first time in the city, she doesn’t know the rules very well.”
The proprietress looked at them suspiciously, but didn't ask any more questions since it was only 20 yuan.
Lu Mingfei pulled the girl back to his machine and lowered his voice, "Where did you come from? Why are you dressed like that and running around in the street?"
The girl blinked and cupped Lu Mingfei's face in her hands: "You can understand what I'm saying?"
“Of course I can understand you, you’re speaking Chinese,” Lu Mingfei said, shrinking back slightly, his face burning.
The girl's hands were soft and fragrant.
“I’m speaking Elvish,” the girl shook her head, her hair brushing against his nose.
"Bang—" The arcade door was pushed open, and two uniformed law enforcement officers walked in.
"Routine inspection!"
It's over. Lu Mingfei's mind flashed to tomorrow's headline: "High school student takes cross-dressing girl to arcade, parents called in."
"Minors, please show your student ID," the law enforcement officer announced.
Lu Mingfei inwardly cursed. He didn't care about himself, but the girl next to him, whose origins were unknown, didn't look like someone with a student ID at all.
"The back door," he whispered, pulling the girl toward the restroom.
The back door of the arcade is usually unlocked, serving as an escape route for students to avoid inspections.
The girl stood still, her right hand slightly raised, her index finger drawing a glowing symbol.
Lu Mingfei's eyes widened. This was definitely not an illusion; a pale green magic circle appeared in the air.
"Wait, no—"
It was too late. The law enforcement officer, drawn by the light, shouted, "You two over there! Stop!"
"Oh no!" He grabbed the girl's hand. "Come with me!"
The girl glanced at Lu Mingfei but didn't resist. Lu Mingfei pulled her along quickly through the arcade and ran towards the back door.
A shout came from behind: "Stop! You two!"
"Why are they chasing us?" the girl asked as she ran.
"It's too complicated to explain! In short, we can't get caught!" Lu Mingfei said breathlessly.
They burst through the back door and rushed into the rainy night, ending up in a narrow alley. Rain lashed their faces as Lu Mingfei squinted, searching for a way out, but footsteps echoed from both ends of the alley.
“We’re surrounded.” Lu Mingfei leaned against the wall in despair. He looked at the girl, whose expression was surprisingly calm.
"Why are you helping me?" the girl asked.
Lu Mingfei was taken aback: "We can't just watch a beautiful girl end up in jail!"
"Hmm." She raised her hand, her fingertips glowing with a pale blue light. "Close your eyes."
A dizzying sensation spun around me, and I found myself sitting on my own sofa. My soaked school uniform proved that what had just happened was not a hallucination.
"Space jump? Illusion? Have I gone crazy from staying up all night?" Lu Mingfei looked around, confirming again and again that this was his home.
The girl checked the doors and windows, confirming again and again, "There are no traces of tracking magic."
"Um, may I ask who you are?"
"Frilian, an elven mage. She was transported to this world because of the demon race's spatial magic."
“So,” Lu Mingfei’s voice trembled, “shouldn’t we be saying next, ‘Young man, sign a contract with me and become a magical girl’?”
Frillie tilted her head and thought for a moment. "No, I'm just an elf who knows magic."
"Really an elf?" Lu Mingfei swallowed hard.
Frillie nodded, her pointed ears twitching slightly. "Yes."
She walked to the window, pulled back a corner of the curtain, and peered outside. "This world is very different. The magic is thinner, so the pursuers should be weakened as well."
"Pursuers? Who?" Lu Mingfei couldn't understand who would chase after a seemingly delicate and beautiful girl.
“Remnants of the demon race, they have been hunting me.”
Moonlight streamed through the window, illuminating Frillie's silver hair. "I need your help, Lu Mingfei."
"How do you know my name?"
Frillie pointed to the notebook on the coffee table, on which the three characters "Lu Mingfei" were written in large characters.
"Assuming what you're saying is true," Lu Mingfei took a deep breath, "what do you plan to do now?"
Frillie found a stool and sat down. "First, I need to deal with the first wave of pursuers."
She leaned closer to Lu Mingfei, "Secondly, why can you understand Elvish?"
Too close! Lu Mingfei leaned back abruptly, his head hitting the back of the sofa with a "thud".
From this distance, I could smell the fresh scent of pine in her hair and see the raindrops still clinging to her eyelashes. "I...I don't understand Elvish! You're speaking Chinese!"
Frilian narrowed her eyes. "No, I spoke Elvish. And you just saw the teleportation circle, which ordinary humans can't see."
“I’m definitely normal,” Lu Mingfei thought, recalling how his eyes would turn golden when he was extremely angry.
Okay, it seems I'm not exactly a normal person after all.
"Boom"
Heavy footsteps echoed from the corridor outside the door, each step like a giant hammer pounding the ground, causing even the walls to tremble slightly.
Frilian straightened her body, her silver hair moving without wind, and a splash of bright red seeped from the hem of her white robe.
The door lock was twisted and deformed, groaning under its strain.
"They're here." Frilian shielded Lu Mingfei behind her. "Hide behind me—"
Boom! The security door was torn to shreds like paper.
Three 'people' wearing black cloaks stood at the door.
“Frilian the Mage,” the leading demon spoke, “By order of the new Demon King, you are to die.”
