I've recovered. Thank you. The sunshine and sea in Italy are lovely.
The reply to Chu Zihang also included a photo:

Everything is fine now. Thank you. This place is suitable for recuperation.
Looking at the photo on his phone that could almost be used as wallpaper, especially the bright smile of Senior Sister Nuonuo and the relaxed posture of the president in the photo, Lu Mingfei couldn't help but exclaim "Wow!"
Holding his phone, he muttered with a hint of envy, "Wow, Caesar's sanatorium is practically paradise!"
His slight worry completely vanished, replaced by an admiration that he truly deserved to be the president. He silently saved the photo.
Let's go to the beach with Frilian next time. The beach should be so much fun, with barbecue, blue skies, white clouds, and pretty girls.
After receiving the reply, Chu Zihang opened the large image and looked at it for a few seconds. Caesar in the photo was indeed in good condition, with a relaxed gaze and no signs of illness. Judging from the degree of recovery in Caesar's shoulder lines and his overall mental state, it could be determined that Caesar's combat ability had basically recovered.
He simply replied with one word:
Chu Zihang: [Okay.]
He then put down his phone and continued his training.
Chapter 250 Extra Chapter 2: Caesar - The Wind of the Hunt (Part 1)
In late autumn, the Pamir Valley is shrouded in morning mist, which resembles a giant, milky-white python coiled between the coniferous forests and black cliffs. The air is crisp and cold, carrying the scent of humus and pine needles; each breath feels like a handful of ice crystals stuck in your lungs.
Caesar Gattuso stood atop a craggy rock, dressed in a well-tailored black hunting suit with a thick Alpine-style woolen cloak casually draped over his shoulders. Unlike ordinary hunters who would crouch down to search for footprints or droppings, he stood quietly, his eyes scanning the mist-shrouded valley below, like a king surveying his newly conquered territory.
The weapon he was playing with wasn't a pre-loaded, finely crafted hunting rifle, but a much older-looking weapon—a composite bow nearly two meters long. The bow was made of layers of mysterious black metal and dark gold wood, with smooth lines and a powerful feel. The bowstring was made of almost transparent biological fibers, gleaming coldly in the thin morning light.
This was a gadget he'd gotten from the academy's equipment department, supposedly a replica of an alchemical relic, capable of withstanding tensile forces far exceeding those of modern materials. The quiver slung diagonally across his waist; the arrows inside weren't made of steel, but rather polished black bone.
"Stable wind direction, northwest, wind speed three meters per second. High humidity, which will affect the arrow trajectory and requires correction," came the voice of Patrice Gattuso through the headset. He was at a temporary command post a few kilometers away, providing data support via high-altitude drones and sensors scattered throughout the forest. "The target creature is still active within the preset area, with slight interference, making it impossible to pinpoint its exact location. It is very good at hiding."
“No need to lock on,” Caesar began. “Hunters are waiting for an opportunity, not coordinates. Maintain monitoring and watch for changes in interference sources. No one is allowed to enter the core area of the valley without my order.”
"Understood. Enjoy your hunt, young master."
Communication was cut off. The valley fell silent once more, save for the whistling of the wind through the treetops and the faint murmur of a snowmelt stream in the distance. Caesar, with his rigorously trained and superhuman hearing, picked up on something else: the creaking of a heavy object slowly dragging across the moss, occasionally punctuated by the hum of rocks pressing against each other.
A smile played on his lips; his prey was nearby.
Caesar leaped lightly off the giant rock, disappearing into the shadows of the forest like a black leopard. His footsteps landed silently on the ground covered with pine needles and fallen leaves. He followed the subtle sounds, simultaneously engaging all his senses to observe the unusual surroundings: a section of spruce trunk, as thick as a bowl, inexplicably broken, its fracture jagged as if forcibly twisted by immense force; several deep scratches on the rock, clearly not naturally formed; and in the air, besides the smell of decaying vegetation, a strange odor of sulfur mixed with ozone.
These are all traces of activity by a "dragon subspecies." The target of this hunt was not a true pure-blooded dragon, but a mutated creature suspected of having dragon blood. It attacked several geological exploration stations deep in the valley, tore open reinforced containers, leaving behind damage marks that were neither claws nor teeth, as well as small pieces of hard debris.
The local government attributed the attack to an unknown beast, but the Secret Service sensed danger, and the task ultimately fell to Caesar, who was resting nearby.
For him, it was more like a carefully orchestrated entertainment, a diversion from the monotony of daily life. The blood of the Gattuso heir flowed with an innate thirst for the hunt—not just for deer or wild boar, but for those powerful and mysterious beings shrouded in the shadows of history. It made him feel alive, felt the power coursing through his veins.
The fog ahead thickened, and the deep humming sound became clearer. Caesar stopped behind a massive fir tree and slowly drew a black bone arrow from his quiver. Nocking the arrow, stringing it, drawing the bow. His movements were fluid and graceful; the compound bow was drawn into a full arc in his hands, his muscles bulging beneath his hunting attire.
Just as he was about to draw his bowstring taut, the mist on his left surged up.
A dark shadow darted out with astonishing speed, lunging towards a clump of bushes ten meters from Caesar. It wasn't the intended target, but a massive, scruffy wild boar with bloodshot eyes and foam dripping from its mouth. It, too, had been affected by the aura of the creature imbued with dragon blood, and had descended into a frenzy.
Caesar frowned slightly, and the arrow tip instantly shifted, locking onto the boar's neck. However, in that one-hundredth of a second before he was about to release the bowstring, an almost instinctive sense of danger honed through countless battles made him abruptly stop his movement!
"Om-!"
The sound of something cutting through the air came from directly in front!
A dark golden shadow tore through the mist, striking the raging boar's back with supersonic speed.
"Swoosh!" The sound of a sharp blade cutting into hot butter.
The wild boar let out a short, shrill cry, its massive body almost snapped in two, blood and entrails bursting open and staining the surrounding mist a shocking pink.
The dark golden shadow suddenly retreated into the thick fog.
Caesar saw it clearly; it wasn't a whip at all, but a tail? A long tail covered in dark gold diamond-shaped scales, with a bony structure at the end like a sharp, curved blade!
The thick fog slowly dissipated, revealing the attacker's true form.
The body is that of an African elephant, a bizarre combination of reptile and large feline. Its body is covered in thick scales of alternating dark gold and bronze, its limbs are robust, and its claws are deeply embedded in the ground. Its head resembles a lizard, but is longer, with a protruding snout and dagger-like teeth. A pair of molten gold eyes burn in the mist, cold, cruel, and devoid of emotion. Along its back, a row of jagged, dark red bony plates, like coral reefs, grows from its spine, along with a terrifying, almost body-length blade-like tail that unleashed the thunderous attack just moments before.
“Spiky Blade Dragon,” Caesar murmured, uttering the name he had deduced from the academy’s archives.
It seems the interference is related to the bony plates on its back that absorb detection signals. This is a more dangerous, and more perfect, prey than anticipated.
The Blade Dragon's golden eyes locked onto Caesar. It had no interest in the easily dispatched boar; all its attention was focused on the human wielding a longbow and exuding a dangerous aura. It emitted low, threatening growls, and hot, sulfurous breath escaped from its nostrils.
The standoff lasted only a brief moment.
The Blade Dragon launched the first attack, its massive body shifting to the side with a physics-defying agility. Its deadly blade tail transformed once again into a dark golden lightning bolt, sweeping across the battlefield. Too fast for the naked eye to follow, its target was Caesar's waist, intending to cleave him in two.
Caesar neither retreated nor attempted to parry with his bow and arrow; that would have been suicide. Just before the blade's tail struck his body, he took a step forward, crouching low, almost touching the ground, and slid under the sweeping blade. At the same time, his right hand, which had been held back, finally released its grip.
"Boom!"
The bowstring twanged, like the low murmur of death.
The black bone arrow flew off the bowstring, not aiming at the Blade Dragon's seemingly vulnerable eyes or mouth, but straight for the gap in the scales where its forelimb shoulder blades met! That was the area captured by dynamic vision, where the scales were relatively small and had slight gaps when it moved.
"Ding!" A crisp sound of impact rang out, accompanied by a shower of sparks.
The arrow hit its target but failed to penetrate; the scales were harder than anyone imagined. The black bone arrowhead only left a white dot on the scales before bouncing off.
Caesar's heart sank slightly. The specially made arrows that the equipment department had so confidently guaranteed could penetrate light armored vehicles couldn't even break through their defenses?
Missing its first attack, the Blade Dragon reacted with astonishing speed. Using the force of its tail whip, it turned around, its massive forepaws tearing through the air as it slammed down on Caesar, who had just stood up and was not yet on his feet, casting a huge shadow over him in an instant.
In the critical moment, Caesar displayed the absolute strength of the top student at Kassel College. He refrained from drawing his bow again, gripped the middle of the bow with his left hand, and sharply slashed upwards with the tip of the bow, precisely blocking the dragon claw's wrist, which was both the point of force and a relatively weak spot.
"clang!"
The immense force traveled through the bow, causing Caesar's arm to tremble violently, his hand to go numb, and he was slammed backward several meters, his boots carving two deep furrows in the mossy ground. The composite bow groaned under the strain, but ultimately did not break.
The Blade Dragon let out a low growl filled with confusion and rage, never expecting that this tiny human could withstand its attack. Its lava-like pupils contracted, the bone plates on its back darkened, and the surrounding air began to distort abnormally, the smell of sulfur intensifying.
Words of power? Or what?
Caesar had no time to think it through; a strong sense of crisis made him retreat to the side and rear without hesitation.
"boom"
A dark red shockwave erupted in a fan shape, centered on the Blade Dragon. Wherever it passed, moss and shrubs on the ground were instantly charred and carbonized, and even the rock surfaces showed signs of melting. The intense heat wave hit them squarely; even though Caesar retreated in time, the few strands of his golden hair at the top of his forehead were scalded and curled.
This area-of-effect attack is completely beyond the scope of ordinary dragon subspecies.
Chapter 251 Extra Chapter 2: Caesar - The Wind of the Hunt (Part 2)
The nature of the hunt changed at this moment. It was no longer an aristocratic pastime that pursued skill and elegance, but a real battle for life and death.
Caesar's gaze turned utterly cold, all traces of his previous ease and languor vanished, replaced by absolute focus and icy rage. He casually tossed his expensive composite bow to the ground; in this level of combat, ranged weapons that couldn't penetrate defenses were simply a burden. He then reached behind his hunting attire and drew another weapon.
Instead of the Gattuso family's signature Dictator, he drew a simple, ancient-looking short sword. The blade was less than forty centimeters long, a dark red as if it had drunk too much blood, devoid of any ornate patterns, only exuding a ferocious aura refined from countless killings. This was a burial item he had found in the ruins of a dragon clan during an archaeological practice class; it had been identified as a defective alchemical tool, nothing special except for its exceptional hardness, but Caesar simply liked it.
“Percy,” he whispered to the air, knowing Percy would hear him, “Record the data, assess the threat level. Meanwhile, seal off the area; I don’t want any unexpected disturbances.”
"Understood. The area has been completely sealed off as a high-risk target. Do you need support, young master?"
"No need," Caesar said calmly, his gaze fixed on the Blade Dragon, which was preparing for its second attack. "This is my hunting ground."
The bony plates on the Blade Dragon's back lit up again, swirling with a dark red light. It needed a short interval to accumulate energy.
This interval was Caesar's opportunity!
He moved, his speed instantly soaring to its limit, like a cannonball fired from a gun, charging towards the massive dragon subspecies with unstoppable momentum.
The Blade Dragon hadn't expected that this human wouldn't flee but instead would launch a charge. It let out an angry roar, abandoned its need to gather energy for the shockwave, raised its massive forepaw, and slammed it down again. This time, the power was even greater than before, enough to flatten a car into a pancake.
Faced with the overwhelming, crushing claw, Caesar did not dodge. Instead, while running at top speed, he made an unbelievable move: he pushed off the ground, his body leaping into the air, charging upwards to meet the dragon's claw. At the very moment of impact, his body twisted in mid-air like a fish, avoiding the direct impact of the claw's strike. At the same time, using the momentum of his charge, he slashed his reverse-grip dagger fiercely at the relatively soft area where the scales connected on the inside of the dragon's claw.
"Hey!"
The dark red dagger sliced through the hard scales, leaving a deep wound that exposed bone, from which pungent dragon blood gushed out.
"Roar!"
The Blade Dragon let out its most painful and furious roar since the start of the war, swinging its injured forepaw with tremendous force that sent Caesar flying through the air.
Caesar adjusted his posture in mid-air, landing steadily, feeling the hilt of his sword cutting through flesh and the scalding heat of the scalding dragon blood splattering on his face. He licked his lips, tasting the blood with its sulfurous and metallic flavor.
That's it, that's the kind of hunt he wanted! Dangerous, bloody, walking on the edge of life and death, using power to conquer and destroy!
The injury fully unleashed the Blade Dragon's ferocity. It no longer attempted ranged attacks, but instead roared and launched a mad charge. Its massive body, like a chariot, crushed everything in its path, and its molten gold pupils held only Caesar's image, determined to trample this ant that had injured it into mincemeat.
Instead of retreating, Caesar advanced, charging towards the onrushing behemoth.
A man and a dragon engaged in the most primitive and brutal close combat in a forest clearing littered with rubble, broken wood, and scorch marks.
Caesar pushed his speed and agility to the limit, constantly circling, leaping, and dodging around the Blade Dragon. He evaded deadly claw attacks and bites, especially the unpredictable sweeping, thrusting, slashing, and hacking attacks of its tail. The dark red dagger in his hand transformed into a whirlwind of death, each strike seizing the Blade Dragon's openings, landing on the weakest points of its scales, joints, or previous wounds.
"Chuck! Chuck! Chuck!"
Wounds continued to appear on the dragon's body, its blood staining the dark gold scales even deeper. The Blade Dragon's roar echoed through the valley, filled with pain and ferocity. Its movements became even more frenzied due to its injuries, its destructive power astonishing; large swathes of trees were knocked down and smashed, and deep craters were blasted into the ground.
But this chaos also brought opportunities.
After its fierce pounce missed, the Blade Dragon's body paused briefly due to inertia. To maintain its balance, its blade-like tail, which had been raised high and ready to strike, instinctively swung downwards and pressed against the ground.
It's now!
Caesar, who had been moving at high speed, abandoned attacking other parts of his body and charged towards the relatively vulnerable base of the blade's tail, which was close to the ground.
The Blade Dragon realized his intention and let out a startled and angry hiss, trying to raise its tail, but it was too late.
Caesar channeled all his strength, along with the kinetic energy of his charge, into his right arm. The dark red dagger whistled through the air with an almost mournful sound, and with unwavering resolve, plunged fiercely into the relatively small and dense area of scales where the blade met his body.
The dagger pierced the hilt! Immediately afterward, Caesar let out a low growl, gripped the hilt, and using the momentum of his falling and spinning body, pulled downward!
The tough muscles and ligaments were forcibly cut and torn apart. The dark golden blade tail, along with the sharp bone blade at the end, was completely removed from the base.
"Roar!"
The Blade Dragon let out a deafening scream, its massive body writhing wildly in agony, losing its balance and crashing heavily to the ground, splattering mud and pebbles everywhere. A torrent of dragon blood gushed from its severed tail, instantly staining a large patch of ground crimson.
Caesar landed a few meters away, slightly panting, his body covered in mud, dragon blood, and sweat, his hunting clothes torn in several places, looking somewhat disheveled. Looking at the colossal beast struggling painfully on the ground, its life force rapidly fading, Caesar's eyes remained calm and unwavering, as if gazing upon a completed work of art.
