Frillie calmly picked up a piece of fruit with her fork: "Hmm, just a regular classmate."

Caesar laughed and raised his glass: "A toast to the discharge of these two 'ordinary classmates'!"

Chapter 24 The Philosopher's Stone

Frillie knocked gently on the door.

The sound of clinking bottles came from inside the door, followed by a lazy "Come in."

As soon as I opened the door, a strong smell of whiskey filled the air.

Vice Principal Flamel, drunk, slumped on the sofa, tossing an old copper coin idly in his hand.

"Hmm?" He narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing the silver-haired girl before him. "Are you that freshman, Frilian?"

Frillie nodded, took a document from her pocket, and handed it over: "I would like to apply to become your student."

Flamel raised an eyebrow, casually took the document, and glanced at it: "Huh? Do you know how long it's been since I took on any students?"

“Ever since the Greenland Shadows incident,” Frillian replied calmly, “you have rejected all applicants.”

Flamel paused for a moment, then burst into laughter: "Interesting! But that alone won't impress me."

Instead of explaining, Frillie took a thumb-sized red crystal from her pocket and gently placed it on the table.

"What is this?!" The smile froze.

With trembling fingers, Flamel carefully picked up the crystal.

"The Philosopher's Stone, impossible."

"Where did you get that?" Flamel stared intently at Frilian, completely sober.

“I made it myself,” Frilian replied.

"Nonsense!" Flamel slammed his fist on the table. "The last person in history to successfully forge the Philosopher's Stone was Nicholas Flamel in 1382! For more than six hundred years since then, no one has been able to replicate it!"

Frillie tilted her head: "Never heard of it."

Flamel's eyes widened: "Then where did you get this?"

“Elemental compression,” Frilian explained, “This stone is formed by condensing a high concentration of fire elemental energy mixed with spiritual power into a solid state. In my understanding, it’s called a ‘fire elemental stone’.”

“Elemental Stones?” Flamel’s beard twitched. “You mean you can create Philosopher’s Stones?”

“Hmm, not just fire element.” Frilian stretched out her hand, and pale blue light appeared in her palm, gradually condensing into an ice-blue crystal. “Water element stone.”

Next came the emerald green wind element stone and the golden yellow earth element stone.

"Thud," the copper coin fell to the ground.

Five minutes later, Flamel finally recovered from his shock and grabbed Frilian's shoulder: "Who exactly are you?"

“A mage,” Frilian said frankly, “Even in my world, not many people can create elemental stones.”

"Your world?"

Frilian didn't continue explaining, but instead asked, "Would you be willing to take me as your student? I can teach you how to make elemental stones."

Flamel's expression was incredibly vivid, first contorted, then ecstatic, and finally turning into an almost pious frenzy.

"Deal!" He took a big gulp of wine. "From today onwards, you are my last disciple, Flamel's disciple!"

Ten minutes later, in the alchemy laboratory.

Flamel rubbed his hands together like a child entering a candy store for the first time: "Quick, quick, show me!"

Frillie nodded and closed her eyes. A faint light emanated from her fingertips, and the elements in the air began to converge towards her.

“First, sense the elements,” she explained softly. “The fire element is lively and restless, and needs to be guided with mental power.”

The red light spun in her palm, gradually forming a miniature vortex.

Flamel's eyes widened; the alchemist's keen eyesight allowed him to see something that defied the laws of physics.

“Then, compress.” Frilian clenched her fist, forcibly squeezing the light spots together, producing a faint cracking sound.

Three minutes later, a brand new "Fire Elemental Stone" was born.

Flamel took it with trembling hands and tested it with his instruments—99.9% purity, far exceeding any Philosopher's Stone recorded in history.

“This is insane,” he murmured. “Do you know that this small piece, combined with an alchemical weapon, is enough to kill a fourth-generation beast?”

Frillie shook her head: "I don't know, I usually use it for heating or cooking."

Flamel nearly coughed up blood.

“Listen, child,” the vice principal said sternly, “from today onward, never display this ability in front of outsiders.”

"I understand the principle that possessing a treasure is a crime."

“No, you don’t understand,” Flamel said, squeezing the fire elemental stone. “The Philosopher’s Stone represents the ultimate in alchemy, and countless people have gone mad for it. If people knew you could create it with ease…”

He made a throat-slitting gesture.

Frillie pondered: "Like the 'blood explosion' recorded in a certain diary?"

"You read Abbas's diary?"

"Ah."

Flamel sighed, "What a pity about Abbas."

Late at night, in the basement of the Kassel Library.

Fingel von Frings tiptoed through the empty corridor. An unlit cigarette dangled from his lips, his long, blond hair casually tied back, and the dark circles under his eyes suggested this great man hadn't had a proper night's sleep in a long time.

"EVA, open the door," he said softly, stopping in front of an inconspicuous door.

The scanner on the door lit up red and scanned his face.

"Identity confirmed, Fingel von Frings, access level: special."

The door slid open silently, and countless data streams flickered, converging into the phantom image of a girl.

"You've stayed up late again," EVA said with a hint of concern. "Is Lu Mingfei's snoring keeping you awake?"

Fingel grinned and slumped into a swivel chair: "That kid was sleeping like a log, he wouldn't have noticed me sneaking out."

EVA floated in front of him and touched his forehead lightly: "The burden of the 'Bronze Throne' is getting heavier and heavier."

"Hey, hey, hey, I drink milk and take calcium supplements every day!" Fingel pulled a box of calcium supplements out of his pocket and shook it. "Look, strawberry flavor."

“Do you think you’re a primary school student?” EVA sighed. “The erosion of the body by the ‘Bronze Throne’ is irreversible, especially with your current lifestyle.”

Fingel chuckled self-deprecatingly, then asked seriously, "What do you think of Lu Mingfei and that Frilline?"

The holographic image switched to two student files. EVA's tone became serious: "Lu Mingfei's pedigree test results keep changing, just like..."

"It's like something is adjusting the proportion of his dragon blood?" Fingel squinted. "Frilian's file is completely blank, even 'Word of Power - Magician' is a brand new Word of Power that didn't exist before."

EVA lowered her voice: "Yesterday, all the surveillance footage from the alchemy lab was deleted. The vice principal did it."

Fingel whistled: "It seems our little Frillie is more dangerous than we thought."

"You'd better stay away from her," EVA said, leaning closer and stroking his head. "You're in a vulnerable state right now; you can't afford any accidents."

Fingel grabbed the illusory hand and grinned: "Don't worry, I'm the kind of man who'll live to graduate."

A yawn appeared on the screen, and Lu Mingfei seemed to be waking up.

"Lu Ming insisted on waking up."

"Damn it!" Fingel jumped up and rushed out the door. "Remember to delete the surveillance footage for me!"

EVA watched his disheveled figure as a slight smile played on her lips.

Chapter 25 Equipment Department Testing

Lu Mingfei hung up the phone, threw it on the bed, and let out a long sigh.

“Old Tang said he recently landed a big order, and he’s been acting all mysterious. I have a feeling something’s not right.” He scratched his head and looked at Frillie, who was sitting at her desk reading a book. “Do you think he might be doing something illegal?”

Frillie didn't even look up: "For example?"

"For example, robbing a bank? Smuggling weapons? Or joining the Mafia?"

Frillie turned a page of her book: "You're overthinking it. Given his personality, he'll at most be a game booster."

Lu Mingfei thought about Old Tang's honest face and his perpetually sleepy dark circles, and felt a little relieved: "Yeah, haha, I was just overthinking it. How's it going with your studies with the vice principal?"

Frillie closed the book "Fundamentals of Modern Alchemy" in her hand and tapped the cover lightly with her fingertip: "Not bad. The alchemy of this world is very interesting, especially the theory of the 'Seven Kingdoms'."

"The Seven Kingdoms?" Lu Mingfei looked bewildered.

“Elemental replacement, spiritual reconstruction, conceptual armament, time reversal, spatial creation, life creation, causal separation,” Frilian explained.

"According to the vice principal, the pinnacle of alchemy is the Bronze and Fire Kings who simultaneously master these seven domains, but most modern alchemists can only scratch the surface of one or two of them."

Lu Mingfei was stunned: "And what about you?"

Frilian pondered for a moment: "As for me, I can probably do elemental replacement and spiritual reconstruction, but not in other areas. The 'Seven Kingdoms' theory is somewhat like an analysis of the essence of the world."

Lu Mingfei wanted to ask more questions when his phone vibrated.

On the third basement level of Kassel College, the door to the equipment department was covered with warning signs:

"Unauthorized personnel are not permitted to enter!"

"Those who enter will bear the consequences!"

"This department is not responsible for any injuries or psychological trauma!"

Lu Mingfei swallowed hard. "I suddenly feel a bit of a stomachache."

"Come in," Frilian said, pushing open the door.

Inside the door was an apocalyptic scene, with a dozen researchers in white lab coats, their faces covered in dust, arguing around a giant piece of equipment.

"Achoo!" The burnt smell and strange chemical odor made Lu Mingfei sneeze.

In the corner, there were piles of metal boxes marked "high risk," one of which was emitting blue smoke.
