"Your Majesty!"
"You give me people to monitor Harry Potter 24 hours a day. Report him immediately if he makes any unusual moves."
“Yes, Your Majesty,” Tanhol hesitated for a moment before saying, “Should we pay special attention to the women’s restrooms on the second floor?”
Bobby gave him an approving look, which made Tanhol feel instantly comfortable, as if he had eaten a ginseng fruit.
Bobby agreed, "That's right, pay special attention there."
After explaining everything, Bobby Phantom teleported to the library. She needed to lay a solid foundation in alchemy first; she couldn't possibly go straight to university courses without even finishing elementary school, could she?
however……
"Your Majesty! Harry Potter went to Rubeus Hagrid's hut and was bitten by the Peruvian venomous dragon Noberon. He is currently receiving treatment in the infirmary!"
"Your Majesty! Harry Potter and Ron Weasley went on a nighttime outing to the infirmary to visit Hermione Granger. When they took off their Invisibility Cloaks, Professor Snape caught them red-handed while delivering medicine. Gryffindor has lost 50 points!"
"Your Majesty! Harry Potter, unable to tolerate Draco Malfoy's provocation at the Quidditch practice ground, sparked a chaotic brawl between the two teams! Both houses have been deducted 50 points!"
"Your Majesty! Harry Potter is in the library looking up information on the Basilisk!"
Bobby sighed and pointed to a desk twenty meters to his right: "Tanholm, you don't need to report this. Harry's sitting right there. I'm not blind..."
……
"Your Majesty! Harry Potter asked Rubeus Hagrid for a rooster and is keeping it in his bedroom!"
Bobby's spirits lifted! Here it comes! Everyone knows that the Basilisk is afraid of roosters crowing. Has Harry learned of the Basilisk's weakness and is preparing to attack?
"Your Majesty! Harry Potter went to the kitchen and stewed that rooster!"
Poppy: …………
It seems that Harry has ultimately lost the battle between himself and 16-year-old Tom Riddle.
"Your Majesty! Harry Potter has donned the Invisibility Cloak and is moving alone to the second floor!"
Bobby stood up with a smile on her face: "Little cousin, you've been bullied. I'll avenge you."
The next moment, she disappeared from the library and appeared in the women's restroom on the second floor.
Myrtle screamed again and jumped into the toilet.
A moment later, Bobby saw a familiar magical force enter the women's restroom.
Harry was able to walk into the women's restroom without any psychological barrier, which suggests that he has been completely controlled by the little diary.
"Hiss..."
As the snake language began, the entrance to the secret room opened.
Poppy struggled to suppress her excitement, activated the Disillusionment Spell, and floated out of the cubicle.
She followed closely behind Harry into the passage...
Hahaha, seven years of waiting! I'm finally going to get to eat this basilisk meat!
Chapter 69 But Bobby won.
Sliding down the sticky, dark, seemingly endless pipe, Harry got covered in all sorts of filth, who knows what it was.
The pipe twisted and turned, descending steeply. Bobby thought to himself, "If things are resolved, should we build an amusement park here?"
Unlike Harry, Bobby floated down the pipe, and when she reached the end, she was still clean.
Whether it was the Imperius Curse cast by the little diary or the dizzying ride, Harry looked dazed, his face, covered in grime, expressionless, as if he had no idea what had happened or where he was.
But Bobby frowned deeply; she smelled a pungent, foul stench.
She knew this smell all too well; it was the same smell she had back in the Viper's Nest in Peru.
The nests of large cold-blooded animals are a combination of a morgue and a toilet.
Oh, and there's a new changing room—there's a long, huge snake skin right there. Bobby's mouth was watering. Such a huge snake monster, how much meat must it have! It definitely couldn't finish it in one meal!
Harry cast Fluorescence, and the orb of light at the tip of his wand guided him through the tunnel. He remained expressionless, walking like a zombie until he reached a wall.
Two intertwined pythons were carved on the wall, their emerald eyes reflecting the light of the fluorescent spell, making them appear to gleam.
"Hiss..."
The two snakes parted, the stone wall split in the middle, and slowly slid to both sides and disappeared.
Poppy shook her head in annoyance. What a pity, those two emerald snake eyes were so big, they were worth a lot of money. Don't be fooled by her position as head of the Ant Merchant Guild and the several warehouses of Galleons in Gringotts; those were all for important matters. Poppy didn't give herself much pocket money.
Besides, even if you don't sell it, such a fine emerald would be a beautiful gift if it were set properly!
The Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin.
Harry's glow-in-the-dark charm couldn't illuminate the ceiling here, which shows how high it is.
This secret chamber is supported by many stone pillars, each carved with only one animal: a snake.
The food here tastes so much better than outside, but the thin, green mist in the air makes me a little uneasy...
P class.
There are only two people here, one oblivious and the other highly skilled and daring. Where does the unease come from?
Harry walked among the stone pillars until he finally reached the end.
At the end stood a statue as tall as a stone pillar.
Poppy floated up and landed directly in front of the head of the Slytherin statue. She gave a slight bow, showing the least possible respect for the school's founder.
She bowed partly out of politeness, and partly to apologize in advance, as a fight might break out and the place would be completely destroyed.
"Hiss..."
After speaking in Parsley, Harry suddenly went weak and knelt down, the diary in his hand tumbling to the side.
"Ah!! Get out of my head!!"
Harry shouted loudly, but he looked so weak that he couldn't even kneel down and was swaying precariously.
Just then, Slytherin's mouth began to open wide, growing larger and larger until it formed a hole. However, Harry was too weak to lift his head and therefore couldn't see this.
"Harry Potter, I still don't understand how you managed to defeat me as an adult."
A voice came from behind Harry.
Harry turned around with difficulty and saw a blurry figure standing there.
"Is that you? Tom Riddle?"
Floating in mid-air, Bobby slapped his forehead. No wonder Harry was so easily swayed.
She then remembered that she had told stories in the common rooms of the various houses, revealing to almost all the students that Voldemort was Tom Riddle, but Harry was only seven years old at the time and was still playing with the toy wand she had given him in the fireplace.
The students who had heard her story and knew Voldemort's real name were now at least in their fourth year. Harry hadn't had much contact with them, so naturally he wouldn't know who Tom Riddle was.
However, this was not the time to listen to their conversation. Poppy looked at the dark hole, clearly more attracted to the basilisk.
Although Harry is clearly being drained of his life force by Tom Riddle, in the original story, Ginny survived being left to rot for hours, so Harry should be fine after just a short while.
Bobby nodded secretly, temporarily abandoning Harry, and flew into Slytherin's dark, gaping maw.
“Yes, it’s me, Tom Riddle.”
"No...no, I understand now, you're not Tom Riddle, you're young Voldemort! In all my life, I've only ever defeated one dark wizard...and that was Voldemort!!"
"Yes, I am Voldemort, but I am also Tom Riddle. I am a soul, a memory, existing in the diary. I made this diary when I was still at Hogwarts, so that I could resurrect myself at a specific time in the future."
Tom came up to Harry and took the wand from Harry's wizard robes. The weakened Harry was powerless to stop him.
As Tom waved his wand, the words "Tom Marvolo Riddle" appeared before Harry in a few glittering letters.
"This is my full name, Harry Potter."
He waved his wand again, and the text rearranged to form a sentence:
"I am Voldemort."
Tom laughed smugly, "See? Tom Riddle and Voldemort have always been the same person, that's me."
"I originally wanted to figure out how you defeated my future self, but there's no need now. I will soon be resurrected, stepping over your corpse."
Harry's vision began to blur, while Riddle's figure began to become clearer.
“Harry Potter, you should feel honored to have given me life, and your corpse will become my little pet’s dessert.”
Riddle's voice grew increasingly arrogant. He raised his head and exclaimed excitedly, "Look! It's about to come out!"
Harry tried to lift his head, but he was too weak to even do such a simple thing.
Tom Riddle seemed to want Harry to witness his greatness before he died, so he held Harry's chin and tilted his head back.
"See that? That's the Basilisk, a legacy left to me by my ancestors. Slytherin blood flows in my veins!"
Harry was almost unable to think; he only felt that Tom Riddle's hands didn't feel like living hands at all, they were cold and unreal.
A gigantic creature emerged from the mouth of the Slytherin statue—it was the Basilisk!
Tom Riddle smiled, while Harry Potter felt a deep sense of despair.
But just then, the basilisk fell limply down like a tube of toothpaste squeezed out, splashing up a large amount of water.
Tom: ? ?
Harry smiled and, with his last strength, said, "You won't succeed, Voldemort."
Harry closed his eyes with relief. He had been holding on, but now he could finally fall asleep because he saw his little cousin Bobby Evans jump out of the hole as the basilisk's corpse fell.
"Hey Tom Riddle, this is the first time I've seen you like this. You were scared to death the last time we met!"
"Who are you?" Tom raised his handsome eyebrows slightly; he didn't remember this person.
"Ah, you've been cursed with a forgetting spell? That makes sense, those two old guys are very meticulous in their work."
"What exactly are you talking about?"
"It's nothing, you don't need to worry about it. I just wanted to get to know you briefly before sending you on your way. You've already taken up a lot of my time that I could have spent eating meat."
Tom Riddle waved his wand, and a beam of green light shot towards Bobby.
