The King of Flags at Hogwarts

So Hermione shifted her focus during her rebellious phase to other things.
Rita Skeeter was the new target she had her eye on.
Hermione stood up angrily: "Poppy! Even if she's one of yours, that doesn't mean she's distorted the facts!"
“Calm down, calm down, Hermione,” Bobby pressed her hand down. “Everyone’s watching this side of the street. You can’t make my relationship with her public.”
Hermione took a deep breath, rolled her eyes, and sat down again.
"Am I wrong? Even setting aside her neglect of Krum and Delacour, is the 'you' she portrays still you?"
Hermione reopened the newspaper: "Look at this passage, 'She is gentle and kind, she is ladylike and generous, she is diligent and hardworking, she is selfless and dedicated, she is the embodiment of justice in the new generation, she is the representative of the conscience of the wizarding world!'"
Even Poppy herself got goosebumps just hearing it, let alone Hermione. Mr. Harry Potter, standing nearby, spat his soy milk back into his bowl and then coughed violently.
Hermione continued, "There are indeed some truths in what she said... but 'self-disciplined and devoted to public service, gentle and virtuous lady'? Is that describing you?"
Ron interjected, "I think Skeeter's praise is quite accurate, it's just that she wasn't very friendly to Miss Fleur..."
Poppy avoided Hermione's sharp gaze and looked guiltily at the ceiling. "Hey, Hermione, the Great Hall ceiling today has a star chart of Pegasus, Equuleus, Delphinus, and Aquila!"
The hall doors were suddenly flung open, and several adult wizards rushed in, led by Rupert Hagrid, followed by Ludo Bagman and Charlie Weasley.
Upon seeing the three, Bobby chuckled awkwardly at Hermione, snapped his fingers, summoned the house-elf Tannhauer, whispered a few words to him, and then turned and fled the Great Hall.
Hermione watched Bobby's departing figure with a puzzled expression. Bobby wasn't the type to run away after being scolded; there must be something else going on.
The clever, know-it-all girl looked at Hagrid, who was whispering to Dumbledore in the faculty area.
In an instant, she realized that Bobby must have done something bad and that his misdeeds had been exposed.
Dumbledore asked in a low voice, "You mean the Chinese fireballs used in the competition just arrived yesterday afternoon and disappeared this morning?"
"Yes, Professor Dumbledore."
Charlie added, "We also found a huge pile of Galleons at the scene..."
Ordinary thieves don't have the ability to steal a fire dragon, let alone act like this kind of nouveau riche...
Dumbledore raised an eyebrow. "Alright, case solved."
“Professor Hagrid, Mr. Bagman, Mr. Weasley, why don’t you sit down and have breakfast first, and then we can discuss how to solve this problem?”
Ludo Bagman laughed and said, "I'd rather accept your offer."
As soon as the three of them sat down to eat, new dishes appeared on the table.
"Huh? Why is there pork chop for breakfast?"
"Isn't this a bit too greasy to eat for breakfast?"
"But this pork chop smells so good!"
Suddenly, a grilled pork rib appeared before everyone, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with an irresistible aroma.
Ludo Bagman, a carnivore, dragged the plate in front of him and said with a smile, "This steak looks delicious, I'll try it first!"
With one bite, the meat juices exploded in his mouth, the rich aroma of fat mixed with the delicious flavor, making him feel like he was floating on air.
"too delicious!"
Bagman practically buried his head in his plate, and seeing his intense eating style, Hagrid and Charlie couldn't help but start eating heartily as well.
Dumbledore looked at the steak... He had eaten plenty of this with Bobby over the years, so he knew exactly what it was.
"Little fox!" Dumbledore laughed, reaching for his fork at the steak.
Now everyone was an accomplice, and no one could say anything more.
Chapter 110 The First Match of the Oddballs
With all those in the know covering it up, and given that it was indeed inconvenient to leak information before the first match, the incident of the missing Chinese fireball was dropped.
However, due to the urgency of the situation, it was unlikely that there would be enough time to transport another fire dragon, so the Peruvian venomous fanged dragon sibling, Nobeta, was unfortunately conscripted.
Her brother, Norbert, expressed his deep sibling affection and warmly saw his sister off as she went out to work, so that she could enjoy the beef leg all to herself!
Norbeta, as expected of Hagrid's dragon, was two sizes larger than a typical Peruvian venomous dragon. She looked almost as big as the Chinese fireball that had died heroically. Given the venomous dragon's natural agility and venom, it wouldn't be fair for her to replace the Chinese fireball.
With the first match drawing ever closer, Bobby wasn't nervous yet, but Hermione was starting to get agitated.
Logically speaking, Jady should be Bobby's best friend, but now that Li Xiaoxiang is staying at Hogwarts all day, do you really expect Jady to have the energy to worry about Bobby?
So Poppy has been spending a lot of time with Hermione lately, and naturally, she's been subjected to Hermione's constant nagging.
"How come you're not nervous at all, Bobby?"
"Hey, we came to Hogsmeade today to have fun! So we should be happy, why think about all that?"
"The Triwizard Tournament can be deadly!"
"How could anyone die? You're overthinking it."
Even if the Warriors weren't her, with Dumbledore, Grindelwald, and Li Xiaoxiang on the team, no one would die in this mere Three Kingdoms tournament.
Besides, the theme of the first competition was her ingredients, so what's there to panic about?
"You should at least practice some spells!"
With a casual wave of his hand, Bobby sent a large patch of grass outside Hogsmeade Village flying into the air, where it transformed into a giant iron ball before crashing down with tremendous force, scattering dark brown soil everywhere.
Bobby waved his hand again, and the black soil returned to its original position, the iron ball turned back into grass, and the landscape returned to how it was two seconds ago.
Hermione's words were immediately stuck in her throat. Yes... no matter what, Poppy was so strong, much stronger than the other two warriors. It was like racing a tiger. You didn't have to be faster than the tiger, just a little faster than your companions was enough.
This only shows that Hermione doesn't fully understand Poppy's abilities. Why would Poppy race a tiger? If the tiger dared to pounce on Poppy, Poppy would simply dismember it and make tiger bone soup...
Hagrid still took Mrs. Maxim to see the dragon; Karkaroff still found the dragon using his own methods; and Bobby, needless to say, already had a tool dragon inside her.
The so-called secrecy surrounding the first event of the Triwizard Tournament was a joke from the very beginning.
Hibiscus and Viktor are cramming for the last minute; they're facing a fire dragon!
Only Bobby ate and played as usual, occasionally going to the principal's office to play cards with the two old men, and sometimes going to the Forbidden Forest to chat with lonely Norbert about life.
She even considered going to Peru to catch another male and female dragon—the Norbert siblings are already adults, and we don't have German orthopedics.
See, despite the lessons learned, we're still very good to these two rebellious children!
Soon, the first event of the three-way battle began.
Early in the morning, Poppy was summoned to a tent in the Forbidden Forest. She was the last to arrive, while the other two warriors were already waiting there.
Krum looked like a piece of rotten wood just pulled out of the water, exuding a gloomy aura.
Furong sat on a low stool, her face pale, looking nothing like her usual radiant self.
Bobby grinned and pulled an apple from her pocket, took a big bite, and then pulled out two more, handing them to Krum and Fleur.
"Would you like one?"
Krum forced an awkward smile, said "thank you," took the apple, and nodded to Bobby.
Krum remained very nervous. He took the apple and rubbed it in his palm, completely forgetting that it was food, not a collectible.
Furong gave a half-bow, accepted the apple, and whispered in a voice that no one else could hear, "Thank you, Your Majesty."
A blush rose on her pale face; she felt ashamed to address her opponent as "Your Majesty."
The draw went smoothly. Hibiscus drew the Welsh Green Dragon, Viktor Krum drew the Swedish Short-nosed Dragon, and Bobby drew the Norbert.
Rebellious daughter, this must be fate!
The competition requires contestants to retrieve the golden egg beneath the fire dragon.
The first to appear, Fleur, used her Veela abilities to put the Welsh Green Dragon to sleep, but accidentally had her dress ignited by sparks it spewed out.
The second one to appear, Viktor, used the Eye Strike Curse, but the berserk Swedish short-nosed dragon crushed several eggs.
Therefore, although they all got the golden egg, they also lost points to varying degrees.
It's Poppy's turn.
She walked into the venue and was greeted by thunderous cheers.
She smiled and looked at Norbert in the arena.
This competition takes advantage of the mother dragon's habit of protecting her eggs after giving birth, but Norbeta is still just a little girl!
However, this was no challenge for the wizards. They cast a confusion spell on Norbert, making her believe that she had just laid a nest of eggs, successfully arousing her maternal instincts.
But when Poppy walked toward her, the fear ingrained in her bones instantly broke through the effects of the Confusion Charm.
Nobeta screamed and retreated to the sidelines, expertly pressing his entire dragon body against the wall with his head facing it, not daring to look at Bobby.
The audience immediately had the image of "an abused puppy" in their minds.
Bobby cursed inwardly: Disgraceful bastards, when have I ever abused you?
Without stopping, she walked to the golden egg, flicked her finger, and the golden egg jumped into her arms.
"Oh, Bobby Evans got the golden egg with ease! She had the easiest finish today!"
Ludo Backman's voice echoed through the stadium.
“This is incredible! Miss Evans’s opponent, that Peruvian venomous dragon, looks terrified. I’ve never seen anything like it before.”
"No!" Karkarov roared. "This is cheating! I object!"
Mrs. Maxim stood up at this moment: "I think Bobby Evans needs to try again. There's something wrong with this dragon. I suggest we try a different one!"
Ludo Backman had never imagined such a thing would happen, and he stood there stunned.
Li Xiaoxiang said calmly, "Since two judges feel it's unfair, let's try again."
Poppy shrugged indifferently, put the golden egg back in its place, and left the arena.
Dumbledore looked at Karkaroff and Maxim, smiling silently: No matter how many times you change them, the result will be the same.
Soon, the Welsh green dragon was brought up.
Poppy re-entered the court.
In the green dragon's eyes, countless vengeful spirits of fire dragons lingered around this human wizard, and above her head floated three large dragon-language characters: "Dragon Eater," the characters bold and the color a deep, purplish-red.
