Yu-Gi-Oh!: This card wants to go to you.

“Oh my God. This area is like hell. Isn’t it, my dear Paladin?” The leader raised an eyebrow and turned to his companion jokingly.

"Stop lamenting here, Commander Far. We need to hurry up and explore the disaster area to get rid of these damned cultists."

The deputy commander, Paladin, had a very serious expression.

"Haha! What's the rush, kid? With a new Paladin like you around, what trouble can we cause?" Far laughed heartily at Paladin.

“No, the power I guide is incomplete,” Paladin explained.

He had an extremely high affinity with the Paladin and successfully achieved a deep resonance with them, but he was still unable to use their power.

"Alright, alright, in any case, [Isolde the Paladin's Remembrance] has acknowledged you, and the path ahead will continue!" Far slapped Paladin's shoulder and laughed loudly.

Paladin shook his head helplessly, shifted his attention, and began to observe his surroundings.

The half-ruined temple contains a waterfall of light—that's the Light Curtain of Ruins!

A dark red flag hangs atop the collapsed city wall, while in the distance, molten lava flows down the mountainside.

"keep going!"

"Yes!"

The knights marched toward the temple.

"Boom—"

Suddenly, a massive, dark red axe appeared from the shadows. Paladin drew his silver sword and swung it at the axe, which shattered and fell to the ground.

"Be on high alert immediately!" Paladin shouted.

"Yes!" The Knights of the Holy Night gripped their spears tightly.

Paladin looked in the direction from which the giant axe was coming.

A woman dressed in a white robe and wearing a mask appeared on the city wall, while a group of monsters that were neither human nor inhuman gathered below the wall.

[Vanguard of the Ashes City, 1700/100]

[The Hero of Ashes City, 2600/2100]

[Embers faded, 2900/2400]

"Damn it!" Commander Fal cursed, "This is blasphemy against God! The people here have become monsters!"

"All, draw your swords!"

"Resonance—[Divine Phoenix Sword Saint Giafrid]!"

"Draw your sword!"

"Eliminate cults!"

"Resonance - Flame Holy Knight General - Oliver".

"Roar--!"

As the beast roared, eerie blue flames descended from the sky. The Paladin stopped what he was doing and looked up.

"Damn it, they're remnants of the Abyss!"

[Endless Eclipse Dragon Vidos]

Endless Eclipse Dragon Vidos

Suddenly, a dragon-shaped wild beast descended from the sky, swooping down towards Commander Fal from a blind spot.

"Commander!" Paladin shouted at Far, caught off guard.

"Pfft-"

Far turned around in shock, but the eroding dragon was extremely fast, and its claws pierced through his chest.

Fresh blood gushed out like a fountain.

[Endless Eclipse Dragon Vidos] roared, flinging Fal away and slamming him into a distant iron wall.

"what--"

Far let out a muffled howl as his internal organs were shattered.

"Captain!" Paladin shouted, rushing forward and smashing the Healing Magic Card.

Listen to me, kid!

Far coughed up blood, interrupting Paladin's rescue attempt, and struggled to take out two magic cards from his waist, stuffing one into Paladin's hand.

“I may have to stop here…” Far struggled to his feet, his face pale. “But you are different; you need to keep moving forward…”

"Snapped--"

Far suddenly shattered his favorite magic card - [Divine Phoenix Sword Saint Gia Fried].

"Commander! What are you doing, Commander!" Paladin roared, his eyes wide.

"Clap clap-"

The manifested swordsman slashed down several [Heroes] that rushed forward.

"What?! Turns out I'm pretty strong after all..."

Far, breathing heavily, forced a pale smile.

"Commander...Commander," Paladin said, his voice trembling.

Magic cards are a card master's "second life." At this moment, he wants to save everyone by sacrificing himself; only by killing or holding off the Eclipse Dragon can they break through.

"But I am..."

"Olga Far, Commander of the Knights of the Holy Night!"

"All—"

"go ahead!"

"We don't need any god at all..."

Far looked at Vidos in the air, his gaze somewhat unfocused.

"As long as we don't stop, the road will keep extending!"

"so..."

"Don't stop..."

Before the temple, Paladin looked back and saw Captain Far soloing [Endless Devouring Dragon Vidos].

The Knights of the Holy Night, with their leader risking his life to protect them, successfully stormed into the Temple of Ashes.

"Hahaha! Hahaha! Humans are so weak in the face of Ashes!"

The king of Ash City, who was waiting there, looked at the surviving paladins with immense pleasure.

"Come, begin the divine ritual."

The king laughed wildly and threw the dueling disk in front of the knights.

"The Ritual of the Gods..."

Paladin murmured, stepped forward, picked up the Duel Disk, and resolutely placed the deck inside. He looked up and stared directly at Ashbringer, his eyes burning with rage.

"This place—is definitely not the end we're waiting for!"

"This is a battle for holiness! This is our hymn!"

"Duel!" (x2)

[Duel begins]

[Blue side goes first]

Paladin takes the five cards that pop up into his hand.

[Paladin Mordred], [The Final Chapter of the Paladin Legend], [Holy Sword Museum], [Divine Phoenix Sword Saint Giafrid], [Phoenix Armored Sword].

"Captain...you still can't let us go." Paladin looked at his cue card.

"Come on! Show me what a knight is! Hahahaha!"

"Cult!"

"I activate the Field Spell Card [Holy Sword Museum], pay 1200 Life Points, and add [Holy Sword of Destiny] to my hand."

"Ugh." Paladin knelt down on one knee, and a ghostly blue flame ignited on the duel disk.

"True damage?"

The king laughed and spread his arms wide: "Hahaha, come! Defeat me! I am the master of this ruin, I am [Ashes]!"

Paladin gritted his teeth and struggled to get up.

"I usually summon [Paladin Mordred], activate [Divine Sword], and equip it on [Paladin Mordred].

[Paladin Mordred] Level 4-5

"Activate the effect of [Paladin Mordred] to Special Summon [Flame Paladin - Augier] and destroy [Destiny's Holy Sword]!"

"This battle is a war to punish evil!"

"At this moment, activate the effect of the destroyed [Divine Sword of Destiny] and equip it to [Paladin Mordred]."

"This battle is a battle for survival!"

"Activate the effect of [Flame Knight - Augil] to send [Flame Knight - Dupin] from the Deck to the Graveyard."

"Activate the effect of [Flame Knight - Dupin] to Special Summon from the Graveyard."

"I've set [Flame Knight - Augier] and [Flame Knight - Dupin] to the connection loop!"

"This is the memory of us paladins, an epic already accomplished!"

"bring it on!"
