Shanks finally sighed, "Oh well, Orochimaru can summon me after I die anyway. If I want to see him again, I can just ask Orochimaru."

Peace talks are scheduled for early next year. Right now, Konoha is busy negotiating with the Land of Earth and the Land of Wind, and also distributing rewards based on merit. "Haha! Shanks, you're a Jonin now, you don't need to call me teacher anymore," Hiroto Sarutobi said.
