75. Feng Shui Issues Regarding Konoha

"Haha! Aunt Chiyo, don't look at me like that. I already have a wife." Shanks pretended to be shy.

Aunt Chiyo couldn't take it anymore; how dare they flirt with her own mother.

"Heh, I'd be more like twenty years younger. Salai's family died during the last time Shukaku caused such a ruckus."

"War is about different perspectives; it's either you kill me or I kill you. Now that the world is at peace, it's exhausting to live in the hatred of the past." Shanks shrugged.

Chiyo looked at Shanks in surprise, "I didn't expect you to see things so clearly at such a young age?"

"It's not that I see through it, it's that Hashirama Senju sees through it. Otherwise, he wouldn't have allied with Madara Uchiha! He can let go of grudges that have lasted for hundreds or thousands of years. What's a world war?" Shanks said, feeling at ease as he passed the question on to Hashirama Senju.

"Hehe, that's true, otherwise he wouldn't be the God of Ninjas. It seems he has a great influence on you," Aunt Chiyo said with a smile.

"Haha, he's been beating me up since I was a kid, how could I not be affected? Isn't it true that the more pain you feel, the greater the impact? You can beat up your son whenever you have time, who knows, maybe one day you'll beat him into a super genius." Shanks teased Scorpion's dad.

"Hehe, my son is the same age as you, how could I still discipline him?" Aunt Chiyo said thoughtfully. It seemed she couldn't discipline her son, but her grandson...

The two unknowingly arrived at the Ninja Academy. Unlike the idyllic environment of Konoha, the Sunagakure Ninja Academy was filled with the sounds of nature. A group of children were practicing kunai and shuriken against stones. Judging by their earnest expressions, they were much more diligent than the kids in Konoha. Unfortunately, there were no super geniuses among them. And when one finally emerged, he ended up causing trouble for his own village. Who knows what kind of mess the Land of Wind has made?

"I really miss the Ninja Academy!" Shanks said, looking at the children.

"Oh? You even attended the Konoha Ninja Academy?" Chiyo asked.

"Of course, back then, Sakumo and I were used as scapegoats by the Second Hokage!" Shanks pouted.

"Oh, Sakumo Hatake? That brat with the short sword." Aunt Chiyo's mind conjured up another image of a handsome, white-haired boy with a short sword.

"Ah, it's him! If it weren't for him, I would have been number one in the school that year. I was stuck in second place for two years!" Shanks shrugged.

Aunt Chiyo looked at Shanks with surprise, "I didn't expect you to have lost to Sakumo Hatake back then."

"I wouldn't say I lost to him, it's just that he's smarter than me," Shanks said nonchalantly. A man has to accept his shortcomings.

"Hehe, let's go see how the little guy from our village is doing." Aunt Chiyo said proudly. Everyone thinks their own child is the best, and ninjas are no exception.

"Not bad. You have to admit, poor kids learn to be independent early. A few of them are doing alright. They'll be pretty awesome in a few years." You have to praise someone else's kids when you're on their turf, even if they can't even hold a sword properly.

"I heard you're being dishonest. Sigh! If only our village had half as many geniuses as Konoha. First you and Hatake Sakumo, and then Hiruzen Sarutobi's three junior disciples," Chiyo sighed.

"Ha! You've come to the right person. Do you know that when Konoha was founded, Hashirama Senju deliberately had my aunt study the Uzumaki clan's sealing barrier? From the sealing barrier, she discovered several incredibly powerful feng shui formations. The buildings in Konoha are constructed according to the layout of the Goddess Worshiping the Moon, the Five Elements, the Eight Trigrams, and the Purple Star Emperor. This allows the energy of heaven and earth to be gathered in every household of Konoha. Although not every child will be a genius, if one or two babies are born who can absorb the energy that has accumulated over the years above Konoha, then that child will be incredibly powerful in the future, just like me!" Shanks's persuasive mode was activated.

"Oh? There's actually such a feng shui formation?" Aunt Chiyo was shocked. No wonder Konoha produces a genius every few years, so that's how it is!

Shanks chuckled inwardly. Thankfully, Chiyo didn't know he was born in Uzushio Village. Konoha only produces geniuses every few years because of plot requirements; otherwise, your village's super genius wouldn't have pulled off this mess.

"Of course, my aunt said that if it weren't for that bastard Sakumo Hatake stealing my talent back then, I would be standing shoulder to shoulder with Kaguya now." Shanks deliberately complained about Sakumo Hatake.

"Hehe, then we should thank Sakumo Hatake." Aunt Chiyo said with a disdainful smile.

"Alright, it's getting late. Would you be so kind as to have dinner with the beautiful Aunt Chiyo?" Shanks asked with a gentlemanly smile.

"Haha! If you didn't already have a wife, I would have thought you had ruined all the girls in Konoha."

"You're talking about Hiruzen Sarutobi and his white-haired disciple..."

"Forget about dinner, I have a lot of things to do. Your visit to our village puts a lot of pressure on us!" Aunt Chiyo said.

"That's because you guys are too narrow-minded. If you come to our village, I'll give you a full range of services. In the evening, I'll find you a handsome young man to give you a blind massage. Of course, if you like, Hatake Sakumo is also an option," Shanks teased.

"Haha, you're so sharp-tongued. I'll head back now. You'll have to take care of your own food and lodging in Sunagakure. I don't think you're short of money," Aunt Chiyo said with a smile.

"I lack nothing now, except money, otherwise I wouldn't have come here to pan for gold." Shanks looked pitiful.

"I know it won't be difficult for you." Aunt Chiyo gave Shanks a deep look.

Shanks scoffed, "You're mistaken. A gentleman acquires wealth through proper means. I wouldn't rob someone; that would be beneath me."

"Hehe." Aunt Chiyo walked away quietly.

After Chiyo left, Shanks sensed three pairs of eyes. Shanks glanced at the three idiot ANBU members. At least they could have disguised themselves. Shanks stood on the yellow rooftop, dressed in black and wearing a white mask, staring intently at him. Shanks didn't even need to use Observation Haki.

.......

Two hours later, Shanks emerged from the last gambling den, followed by a few thugs. Shanks ignored them and walked into a side alley. Not long after, Shanks came out of the alley again and found a distillery.

Three more figures appeared in the alley. "They're all unconscious, but there are no injuries," one of the ANBU said.

"I'll go back and report to Lord Kazekage. You all continue to follow him, but whatever you do, don't provoke him." The Dark Guard captain finished speaking and disappeared.

Inside the Kazekage Tower, Chiyo, her younger brother, and the Third Kazekage, Sara, were contemplating life.

"Advisor Chiyo, what exactly is the red-haired guy from Konoha doing here?" Share asked impatiently.

"If I'm not mistaken, he really is here for sightseeing. No matter how skilled he is, he's still just a teenager. According to his records, he's been on missions since he was eight, then during the World War, and after that, he was on missions again. Now that he's no longer a ninja, what teenager doesn't have curiosity about the outside world? Besides, I talked to him, and his personality is very similar to Hashirama Senju's—both are carefree and unreliable. But as he said, unless it's wartime and everyone's stance is different, there's no need to fight to the death in peacetime." Aunt Chiyo objectively analyzed Shanks.

76. As expected, he's the toughest man.

"Sister, if that's the case, do we really have to let him stay for a year or two?" Uncle Kaizo asked, standing next to Aunt Chiyo.

Aunt Chiyo shook her head. "He won't stay for long. I estimate he'll get bored after two months. Although I hate to admit it, the environment in our Land of Wind is still not as good as that in their Land of Fire."

"Won't he release the One-Tailed Beast and cause trouble?" The Third Kazekage, Salai, was a little worried. Every time Shanks became Daimyo, it was related to the Tailed Beast.

"No, I guess he won't go after One-Tailed Beast, since he doesn't want to cause trouble for Konoha," Aunt Chiyo said confidently.

Not long after Aunt Chiyo finished speaking, the captain of the Dark Army came in. "Lord Kazekage, after Lord Chiyo left, the Konoha Red-Haired Man won all the money in the two casinos, and he's still doing it now."

The Third Kazekage, Salai, asked in disbelief, "Could he really be that short of money? No way! The bounties he earns from missions in Konoha could buy a small country."

The Third Kazekage, Salai, was unaware that Shanks had a niece whose extravagant spending talent was off the charts; otherwise, he would surely understand how he felt.

"Don't worry about him, just keep following him," Aunt Chiyo instructed.

.......

Three hours later, the same ANBU rushed in again, "Lord Kazekage, Konoha... Konoha's Red-Haired Shanks have won all the money in all the gambling dens in the village, and he's demanding it be exchanged for gold! The village doesn't have that much gold right now!"

The Third Kazekage, Salai, was dumbfounded. "What? He didn't use ninjutsu? How much money? The village's gold isn't enough!" Holy crap, are you a gambling god?

"No, it's like he can hear the dice. Every time he closes his eyes, his ears twitch." The ANBU captain said enviously. If he could do that, he would have quit being a ninja long ago.

He had no idea that Shanks was just pretending to be cool by closing his eyes and twitching his ears; they didn't understand such a high-level thing as Observation Haki. If it weren't for not wanting to affect Konoha's gambling industry, Shanks would have already robbed Konoha's gambling dens of everything.

"How much money did he win? The village doesn't even have enough gold!" The Third Kazekage, Sarazuki, asked, barely containing his anger. Since he became Kazekage, Sunagakure had never lacked anything except gold. And now he was saying it wasn't enough.

"All the gambling dens in the village have been emptied out, totaling over 30 billion!" The dark squad leader swallowed hard. Over 30 billion! He had never seen so much money before.

"That bastard! I knew he wouldn't come here for anything good!" the Third Kazekage, Sha Lie, roared.

"Lord Kazekage, what do we do now?" the Dark Army captain asked anxiously.

"What else can I do? I'm going to pan for gold right now, otherwise his big mouth will be spreading throughout the ninja world tomorrow that Sunagakure is a poor bastard." After saying that, the Third Kazekage, Sarek, went out to pan for gold like a gust of wind.

"Ugh! This is such a headache!" Aunt Chiyo rubbed her temples. Kaizo, standing beside her, fell silent for a moment.

.......

At the entrance of the money exchange in Sunagakure, Shanks stood with one hand on his hip and the other pointing arrogantly at the entrance, shouting, "What? A village as prestigious as Sunagakure can't even afford 3 billion taels of gold? I never expected the Third Kazekage to be such a pauper!"

"You bastard, who are you to dare insult the Kazekage!" The surrounding ninjas couldn't stand it anymore; how dare he insult the Kazekage in Sunagakure.

"What! You can't curse me just because I don't have gold to exchange for it? I'm going to curse you anyway, the Third Kazekage is a poor bastard, what are you going to do about it? Come on, come on, hit me here. Slap me hard at a 45-degree angle downwards." Shanks brought his face close to the ninja's.

"Damn it!" The ninja was about to make a move when his companion stopped him. "Iki, you can't fight! If you do, something bad will happen. Do you even know who he is?"

"Who is he that we can't fight? The son of a daimyo?" Iki asked suspiciously.

"...Your full name is my son! You bastard! Are you insulting me?" Shanks started cursing like a shrew, hurling insults at anyone who came across him.

"You bastard!" came an angry voice.

"Hey, you bastard Salamander, you've brought gold?" Shanks asked the newcomer with a smile in an instant.

"Take this gold worth 30 billion and get out of here. Sunagakure doesn't welcome you!" The Third Kazekage, Sarek, tossed him two large bags filled with gold dust.

"Magnetic Release is really convenient. Fine, I'll forgive you for the sake of the gold. Next time you open your shop, make sure you have gold ready. You're wasting my time. I make millions every minute. Do you know how much money you've wasted?" Shanks lectured the money exchange owner.

The Third Kazekage, Salai, gritted his teeth as he watched Shanks' retreating figure, "That bastard!"

......

The next day, Shanks used his Observation Haki to sense Bunpuku's location. It was inside a barrier, but this barrier wasn't very strong; it only provided concealment and blocked out all external sounds. It seemed that Sunagakure was afraid.

Walk to the edge of the barrier.

Superhuman strength. Tsunade fights Jiraiya.

"Bang!" The barrier shattered.

A cave was revealed, and Fenfu meditated inside.

"Hello, Fenfu, long time no see! Brother Shouhe, it's been a long time too!"

Shanks walked in and sat down next to Fenfu.

"Damn it, who's your brother, you damn red brat!" Before Bunpuku could speak, Shukaku sensed Shanks's scent and knew he would never forget it—it was that red-haired brat from a few years ago.

"Brother Shukaku, don't be like that. Kurama is my cousin, so we're practically brothers. I've missed you terribly these past few years!" Shanks said, ignoring Bunpuku's surprise, pointing to his stomach.

"This brat heard my voice?" Shukaku was also surprised.

"Of course I hear your voice. I can hear the voice of all things." Shanks proudly boasted.

"The Red-Haired Shanks of Konoha have become famous throughout the ninja world these past few years. Why would he suddenly have time to visit a great monk like me?" Bunpuku said calmly.

"Ah, we're friends, after all. It's been years since we last saw each other, so I came to visit while I had some free time," Shanks said.

"Damn it, who's your friend? I'm going to kill you!" Shukaku roared from inside his stomach.

"Shukaku, I wasn't talking to you, shut up, or I'll beat the shit out of you!" Shanks glanced disdainfully at Bunpuku's belly. Things change. Back then, he chased Shukaku all over Sunagakure, but now, even the Seven-Tails obediently calls him "Dad."

"You bastard! I'll kill you!" Shukaku bared its teeth and claws inside Bunpuku's stomach.

"Hey, Konoha's Red-Haired Shanks, if you really consider me a friend, then leave. I can't keep Shukaku under control for too long." Bunpuku looked at Shanks with some pleading. Back then, it was because he was knocked unconscious and released the One-Tailed Beast that Sunagakure was destroyed and the Second Shamon died. He had felt extremely guilty all these years, so he asked Chiyo to lock him in the barrier. He didn't expect that Shanks would still find him.

"Well, this is really boring. I thought you and Shukaku had gotten along well after all these years, but it turns out you still can't control it." Shanks said, shrugging. He wasn't here to fight; he really just came to see an old friend.

"Then I'll be going, sayonara!" Shanks stepped out of the cave. He immediately saw the Third Kazekage, Salai, and Chiyo leading a group of ninjas charging towards him menacingly.

"What...what are you doing? You bastard Salai, you're not here to steal back the gold, are you? I didn't expect you to be this kind of person!" Shanks looked at Salai with feigned contempt.

The Third Kazekage, Sarge, could no longer contain his anger. He hurled a giant iron cone made of iron sand at Shanks. If he could hold back any longer, he might as well castrate himself!
