Some were excited and already wanted to go down the mountain, find the Six Roots, revive the Great Sage, and fight against the Heavenly Court with the Great Sage to destroy the immortals and Buddhas;

The old ape smiled slightly, sighed, took out a bronze cloud staff, and said, "Your appearance is not much different from the Great Sage, but there is one difference. You have a smiling face, unlike that one that is full of bitterness and hatred... I will give you this bronze cloud staff. It is more sturdy than that willow wood staff and may be able to help you."

However, the ape did not accept the stick, but instead handed the willow stick to the old ape.

The monkey mimicked a human, rubbing its chin and chuckling, "I once saw in a dream the scene of the Great Sage becoming a disciple and learning skills. When the Great Sage's master named him, he called him Sun Wukong."

Sun, whose name is derived from the character "狲" (sun) without the animal radical, is a child, embodying the essence of infancy; while Wukong, whose name falls within the "悟" (wu) generation of the five virtues (广, 大, 智, 慧, 真, 如, 性, 海, 颖, 悟, 圆, 觉), corresponds to the principle that in the beginning of creation there was no inherent nature, and breaking through the stubborn emptiness requires enlightenment.
