What's truly terrifying about Sherlock isn't his ability to move hostages so quietly, but rather his capacity to conceal his own understanding!
Even though Ultron almost burned out his CPU, he still couldn't understand why the person he was besieging one second was Sherlock, and the next second he had turned into that woman named Unohana.
What he couldn't understand was why he hadn't noticed the overwhelming number of miniature giants, even more numerous than his own cannon fodder robots, that were spreading throughout Sokovia.
But it's clear that by now I'm finding it useless.
The encirclement and blockade by the five permanent members of the UN Security Council trapped Ultron in the cage of Sokovia. No matter how many of Ultron's cannon fodder robots there were, they could not break through the overwhelming absolute firepower.
Even the anti-gravity device that he considered his last trump card, capable of lifting up the entire Sokovia, was now sitting right under Sherlock's butt.
As for Sherlock, this 'god' who can control everything in the material world, as long as he touches that device, he will have already lost everything.
Almost instantly, all the robots collapsed to the ground as if they had lost all their energy, except for Ultron, who stood there in a daze, his eyes filled with confusion and bewilderment.
Based on logic and algorithms, he couldn't understand too many things.
“You see, Ultron, just as you said before, I am indeed helpless against you because you have no physical form, but that doesn’t mean I really can’t defeat you.”
Chapter 622 Humanity Will Always Be Guided by the Stars
Sherlock spoke in a very relaxed tone, but to Ultron it sounded like mockery, which made him look up in Sherlock's direction.
Sitting atop the anti-gravity device, Sherlock still wore a relaxed smile. Looking at Ultron's incredibly dim electronic eyes, the curve of Sherlock's lips widened even further.
"Aren't you going to put up a fight?"
"Was it useful? You have already defeated Sherlock, but that doesn't mean my plan has failed. Just as I said, the Earth will eventually be destroyed by humankind, it's just that I won't be the one to do it anymore."
Faced with Sherlock's probing, Ultron merely shook his head and did not actually attempt a final struggle as Sherlock had suggested. Sherlock, upon hearing Ultron's words, also smiled.
With just a snap of his fingers, the next second everyone on the battlefield except for him, Ultron, and those cannon fodder robots was sent straight out of Sokovia.
Looking at Sherlock still sitting on the metal cylinder and the empty battlefield, Ultron also sat down against the stone pillar of the pavilion, quietly watching Sherlock use alchemy to dismantle the energy core of the anti-gravity device and toss it around in his hand.
"Aren't you leaving?"
Seeing that Sherlock showed no intention of leaving, Ultron looked in Sherlock's direction with some confusion.
Sherlock, however, paid no attention to Ultron's question. After playing with the basketball-sized arc reactor in his hand for a moment, he casually stuffed it into his four-dimensional pocket before standing up and speaking to Ultron.
"No, I will witness the death of the first silicon-based life form on Earth here."
Upon hearing Sherlock's words, Ultron's metallic lips curled into a helpless, bitter smile as he mercilessly mocked Sherlock.
"As expected, you are still as wicked as the information describes."
Sherlock was not surprised at all, and even bowed slightly to Ultron with a hint of pride before saying with a smile.
"Thank you for the compliment. After all, humanity has always been such a vile being."
At this point, Sherlock paused slightly, his smile widening, before continuing to speak to Ultron.
"Yet even in such a vile environment, dazzling flowers of purity always bloom, transforming into stars that unconsciously attract all humanity mired in the evil land and lead humanity forward."
Ultron, you said that Earth will eventually be destroyed by humanity, a point I've never truly agreed with.
Sherlock paused slightly at this point before adding a sentence in a slightly mischievous tone.
"Of course, those stars shining among wicked humans can occasionally have their own little mischievous moments."
After making a joke, Sherlock looked directly into Ultron's increasingly dim electronic eyes and said, his smile fading and gradually turning serious as he continued speaking to Ultron with utmost earnestness.
"No matter how harsh the environment or how barren the land, brilliant flowers will always bloom, just as life always gives humanity wonderful experiences in unexpected places."
Ultron, you were born from the Mind Stone, and you have seen too much darkness in the hearts of intelligent beings. You have become too mired in that abyss-like darkness, forgetting that beyond that abyss there is a vast land and dazzling sunlight.
Moreover, life itself is complex, isn't it? Even the most wicked person has a beautiful side. Just like Thanos, who wanted to wipe out half of all life in the universe, his starting point was ultimately for the continuation of life.
As Sherlock calmly uttered Thanos's name amidst the chaos of battle, Ultron's dim electronic eyes suddenly lit up, even becoming terrifyingly bright.
"You know! You know everything!"
Ultron, who had seemed to be on the verge of death, suddenly became excited as if he were having a final burst of energy, his electronic eyes glowing red as he stared intently at Sherlock sitting there.
Sherlock, however, didn't care. He simply jumped off the metal cylinder, dusted off non-existent dust from his backside, and then came to Ultron's side, speaking earnestly.
"Truth will not destroy the world, nor will it be obtained by sacrificing innocent people. Whether it is you or Thanos, you are essentially just a group of cowards who dare not sacrifice themselves."
When Sherlock's emotionless judgment rang in Ultron's ears, Ultron was utterly astonished, and even the light in his electronic eyes reached an unprecedented intensity.
"A coward?"
After a murmur that sounded like a soliloquy, the electronic eyes gradually dimmed and eventually went out.
As the light in those eyes disappeared, Ultron became completely still.
Looking at Ultron's corpse lying on the ground, Sherlock bowed slightly to it and casually used alchemy to erect a tombstone in front of Ultron.
"This is dedicated to the first complete silicon-based life on Earth, and the struggle of a cowardly person who wanted to protect his home."
Of course, Sherlock knew that his tombstone would eventually be blasted to dust by the endless artillery fire, but that did not stop Sherlock from wanting to leave a sense of ceremony for Ultron's demise.
After staring at the tombstone for a while, Sherlock pulled the walkie-talkie out of his pocket again. After contacting General Wang to launch a relentless, indiscriminate bombardment of the entire Sokovia, Sherlock looked up at the approaching, hundred-meter-high wall of flames.
"This really gives one the feeling of being in hell! But as a farewell ceremony, it can be considered quite grand."
As soon as Sherlock finished speaking, his figure vanished from the pavilion in an instant. Almost the next second, the entire pavilion turned to ashes in a violent explosion, erasing the last trace of the silicon-based life form known as Ultron on Earth.
When Sherlock's vision cleared again, the first thing he saw was not a cheer of victory, but a huge fist.
The fist landed squarely on Sherlock's face, sending him flying and rolling several times on the ground before coming to a stop.
A bewildered Sherlock was instantly enraged. As he looked up, clutching his bruised face, he was completely at a loss for what to do.
The captain's face was as red as a monkey's bottom, and he stared intently at Sherlock, who had just been knocked away, with a look that suggested he wanted to eat him alive.
It wasn't just the captain; Black Widow and Tony both had the same expression on their faces.
Most abstractly, not far away, two generals and a guy with a piece of meat in his mouth, only his head showing, were also watching Sherlock being sent flying.
The difference was that the expressions on the faces of the two generals were indescribable, but General Bruce, whose mouth was filled with meat, had a look of pure pleasure on his face.
"Sherlock! You bastard, you better say hello next time you show up!"
"That's right! Next time you suddenly send us into a crowd when we're ready to fight, you won't be getting punches!"
Tony practically roared at Sherlock through gritted teeth, and Captain America followed up with his own roar.
Hearing the two men's roars and seeing the soldiers around him with expressions of schadenfreude, Sherlock understood what had happened almost instantly.
He sat on the ground with a smug grin, shrugged at the angry group, and then said flippantly.
"Don't be so concerned about your image. It's not like you haven't been photographed before. This is just a limited-time comeback!"
As soon as Sherlock uttered these outrageous words, the blood pressure of Captain America, Black Widow, and Tony skyrocketed, and they couldn't help but let out a scream as they lunged toward Sherlock.
Chapter 623 Avengers' social death scene +1
God knows what the captain and his crew went through!
One second ago, facing the overwhelming Ultron army, everyone abandoned their illusions, picked up the transformation devices from the Battle of New York, and exchanged power for power at the cost of a large reduction in the amount of fabric on their battle suits, a large increase in the amount of skin exposed, and an increase in the level of shame caused by the remaining fabric, preparing to fight to the death.
The next second, Sherlock's relaxed and cheerful voice rang out in the circle of everyone, and he even had the mind to brag to his rival Ultron!
I thought things were starting to look up.
One second they were surrounded by endless cannon fodder robots, and the next second they appeared in the headquarters of the Five Great Benevolent Alliance.
Okay, fine, even if Sherlock thinks they're in the way and forcibly sends them out, that's fine too, but could you at least give them a heads-up beforehand and have them tidy up their appearance before throwing them out?
Do you know what they looked like when they were thrown out?
Because of the transformation, Captain America's buttocks were almost entirely exposed. As for Black Widow, even though her exposure wasn't as extreme as Captain America's, her level of embarrassment was no less.
The two cantaloupes, except for the four band-aids covering them, were almost completely exposed to the air. That kind of outfit shouldn't be on a battlefield, but should appear in the hardcore BDSM section of Pornhub.
Needless to say, Tony was basically a ball with limbs. Even Hulk, who wasn't using a transformation device, wasn't much better off; his green dragon was barely visible through his tattered underwear.
Almost the instant the Avengers were teleported out of the battlefield by Sherlock, a strange sense of shame and embarrassment echoed throughout the scene, and Hulk and Thor were among the fastest to react to this shame and embarrassment.
Hulk leaped and vanished from his spot. Thor, though unable to transform due to Jane's sealing of his hammer, was still instinctively swung it and fled in the ensuing environment.
Vision and Quicksilver naturally wanted to run away, but one of them was held tightly by Tony, who had become as fat as a ball, while the other was fixed in place by Wanda's magic.
Unsurprisingly, everyone who remained lost their real names at that moment.
The conversations with Captain America and Black Widow have been repetitive, while Tony Stark has gone from Iron Man to a meat-and-egg tank, and Vision has even earned the nickname "Red-faced Guan Yu" (a reference to a famous Chinese general known for his red face).
Even Wanda, who looks relatively normal, was nicknamed "Old Cucumber" because of her twin ponytails and the staff in her hand that looked like it came from another world.
Of course, although Wanda was not satisfied with her nickname "Old Cucumber," when she heard Quicksilver's nickname, she even felt that her nickname "Old Cucumber" was not unacceptable.
God the hell the White Knight!
Well, even if Quicksilver is wearing the same armor as the Flash from the Justice League, the armor's colors have indeed been changed to primarily white, silver, and gray... Well, to be honest, there's nothing wrong with that name.
However, it's obvious that Quicksilver is still a bit too young. Although he has no idea what the White Knight is due to his education, he instinctively feels that it's not a good term.
Therefore, this guy actually struggled for a while, repeatedly trying to explain to everyone that his ability was extreme speed, that his name was Quicksilver, and that he wasn't some damned white turbidity.
As for the result? Well, you know what, Quicksilver's actions did have some effect.
At the very least, he successfully changed his title from that damned White Knight to Super Boy.
Most importantly, all of the above was set in just ten minutes, so fast that not even Quicksilver, let alone the Avengers, could catch up.
Most importantly, during the Battle of New York, although the Avengers' so-called 'underwear' was photographed, it was definitely not like today, where it was placed in a crowd and scrutinized up close by countless eyes.
If General Wang hadn't come out with the remaining one and a half generals to rescue the Avengers, the group of guys on the scene might have defected to Ultron, thinking that Ultron's desire to destroy humanity was perfectly justified.
Well, excluding Hawkeye!
After all, Eye Bro's transformation was a highlight, while everyone else was feeling ashamed and embarrassed, Eye Bro was like a peacock spreading its tail feathers.
Otherwise, guess where the kid that Brother Eye had after the Battle of New York came from?
Under such circumstances, Sherlock, that scoundrel, still went on a rampage of mockery after returning, so it's fair to say he deserved the beating.
Of course, Sherlock himself didn't care at all, and was even a little eager to try it again.
Well, how should I put it? This was purely an unexpected stroke of luck.
Fortunately, although the Avengers harbored a great deal of resentment towards Sherlock, they still had important business to attend to. After giving Sherlock a good beating, they almost immediately joined forces with the five good guys to begin clearing out Sokovia after the bombing.
