"Are you an Indian?" Mr. Roosevelt asked.

"I'm not."

"Really? But you look like an Indian."

"I am from Aurora."

“Mr. President, you should have seen those laborers at the construction site of the American Railroad.” Li Qun stopped in his tracks, and Roosevelt almost bumped into Li Qun’s back.

“They are not like you, completely different.” Teddy Roosevelt shook his head.

“This is a new era,” Li Qun said to Roosevelt.

Li Qun has a good impression of the American Museum of Natural History because the museum faithfully recreates the scene of the Aurora Laborers building the American railroad, unlike other places that erase the existence of the Aurora Laborers.

When mediating the conflict between Western cowboys and ancient Roman army puppets, Li Qun sided with the Western cowboys because some of them were Chinese laborers.

Teddy Roosevelt looked at Li Qun with nothing but admiration and escorted him all the way to the museum entrance.

“You could be a diplomat in the future, and your performance tonight proves that you have a real talent for it,” Teddy Roosevelt told Liqun.

Li Qun smiled and shook his head at Roosevelt.

"Mr. President, you think too highly of me."

"Someone like me is just the standard among Aurora students. If you ever get the chance to visit Aurora, you'll find that every person who has received a full education at Aurora is a diplomat and a military strategist, with a strong ability to talk the talk."

“Really?” Teddy Roosevelt raised an eyebrow.

"Beep! Stereotypes emerge: diplomats and military strategists!"

In the middle of the night on a New York street, the notification sound from the attribute panel almost startled Li Qun so much that he jumped up.

Chapter 56 Do you have any hobby classes?

The time is 2:45 AM.

Four hours of deep sleep is necessary, so the wake-up time would be around seven o'clock.

However, waking up at seven o'clock would disrupt the day's schedule.

Li Qun glanced at the time on his watch and felt saddened by his rare lack of sleep.

For Li Qun now, the two things that bring him the most happiness in a day are sleeping and eating.

Chatting with Peter and Gwen is mostly enjoyable, but occasionally Li Qun worries about saying the wrong thing. For Li Qun, chatting with people is a psychologically burdensome activity.

Teddy Roosevelt watched as Li Qun crossed the street and walked into Central Park on the other side.

Seeing Li Qun's worried expression, President Roosevelt assumed that the boy was concerned about what would happen at the museum late at night, unaware that Li Qun was simply troubled by lack of sleep.

On the grass in Central Park, Li Qun was preparing to fly using the pillar when a fire ring portal suddenly appeared, interrupting Li Qun's takeoff preparations.

The King of Sorcery emerged from the circle of fire, dressed in the dark red traditional robes of a sorcerer from Kamar-Taj, a stark contrast to his role as a guide at the museum the day before.

"Hello?" Li Qun hesitated before raising his hand to greet Wang.

"I've been watching you all night. Don't fly over New York on pillars, okay?"

"Come with me."

Wang waved to Li Qun, then turned and stepped into the fire circle portal.

Li Qun looked at Wang with a puzzled expression.

Wang performed a bizarre act in front of him, opening a door, walking out, and then walking back in, just as nonsensical as what had happened that evening.

"I don't even know you. You didn't kidnap me, did you?" Li Qun asked Wang on the other side of the portal.

“My name is Wang Kaixuan, and Bruce Banner is my junior. Come over here, I want to talk to you,” Wang said to Li Qun in Chinese.

"I have to go to school tomorrow."

"I know, you don't need to keep emphasizing it," Wang said, somewhat exasperated.

“I didn’t keep emphasizing that.” Li Qun said as he stepped through the fire-ring portal and entered the New York Sanctum.

Wang closed the portal, gestured for Li Qun to sit on a chair in the room, and then pulled up a chair himself.

In the room, which resembled a study, Li Qun and Wang Yizi sat down opposite each other, feeling like they were meeting unfamiliar relatives during the Chinese New Year and didn't know what to say.

Wang's appearance reminded Li Qun of his former head teacher; he had a very serious expression and sounded like he was lecturing people as soon as he opened his mouth.

Li Qun placed the golden cudgel on his thigh and massaged his thigh muscles with it using a rolling pin motion. If things got out of hand, Li Qun could also instantly pick up the golden cudgel and strike someone.

"Is this the Ruyi Jingu Bang (the magic staff)?"

Wang looked at the golden cudgel rolling on Li Qun's thigh, then looked at Li Qun again.

"Ah."

“Where is Dr. Banner? Isn’t he here?” Li Qun asked.

"He is watching the TV series 'Journey to the West'."

“Banner hasn’t even read the original Journey to the West, so I’ll handle your matter for now,” Wang said.

"Is there anything I need to do?"

"Based on your performance tonight, you can continue with your current life."

"What are you going to do to me if I perform poorly?"

"We'll transfer you to our school so you can succeed," Wang replied.

“I’d like to learn this magic that allows you to open doors anywhere. Do you offer any classes for it?” Li Qun asked.

"Want to learn this?"

Wang raised his hand, and the fire circle portal opened, revealing Li Qun's bedroom on the other side of the portal.

"Go back to sleep," Wang said to Liqun.

"So you don't offer extracurricular classes?" Li Qun got up from his chair and stepped through the portal.

"Let me discuss it with Banner, and I'll let you know when we've reached an agreement."

The portal closed, and Li Qun stood in the pitch-black bedroom.

Li Qun fumbled to turn on the desk lamp, changed his clothes, lay down on the bed, and set a new wake-up time on the alarm clock.

Go to sleep first...

……

With a blink of an eye, Li Qun pressed the alarm clock; it was dawn.

I got up, washed up, ate breakfast, dozed off for a while on the bus, and met up with Peter on the way to school, feeling a bit tired.

Li Qun yawned, which surprised Peter.

“That’s rare, Liqun. You’re sleep-deprived too. What did you do last night?” Peter joked.

"Last night..."

“I dreamt of the Pharaoh, who opened the gates of the underworld and summoned the souls of the dead to the world of men. I spent the whole night trying to maintain the balance between the living and the dead,” Li Qun told Peter.

"Was it a nightmare?" Peter asked.

"It was just an ordinary dream."

Li Qun scratched the back of his head with his right hand.

"Did you feel tired after visiting the museum yesterday?" Li Qun asked Peter.

“It’s alright,” Peter replied.

The two walked to the school gate and bumped into Gwen. The three of them walked into the teaching building together.

Gwen could tell at a glance that Li Qun hadn't slept well last night.

What did you do last night?

“Peter already asked once,” Li Qun said to Gwen.

"Can't you answer again?" Gwen said.

“Liqun had a dream that kept him up at night,” Peter told Gwen.

"It was just a dream."

“I even sleepwalked, I sleepwalked to the Natural History Museum,” Li Qun said.

"Was he really sleepwalking?" Gwen asked with concern.

"No, I was just kidding."

“If you’re sleepwalking, Liqun, you should see a doctor. This is not a minor issue,” Gwen said.

“I have no money, no time, and no patience,” Li Qun told Gwen.

“I was referring to the school doctor,” Gwen said.

“Does our school have a school doctor?” Peter asked Gwen.

"Peter, you didn't know?"

“Nobody noticed that we have a school doctor,” Peter said.

“It’s your fault for being afraid to see a doctor,” Gwen said.

“Go see the school doctor, and they’ll say you have a serious problem and need to see a specialist, and then the medical bills will pile up. It’s always the same routine,” Li Qun told Gwen.

“No, the school doctor’s diagnostic fees are covered by our student health insurance. Unless the situation is really bad, the school doctor won’t send you to the hospital,” Gwen said.

"Where does our school doctor usually stay?" Li Qun asked.

“He’s with the school team. The school doctor sits on the bench in the gym while the players practice. If someone unfortunately breaks a leg or a nose, he can help with emergency treatment,” Gwen replied.

"I feel so invisible," Li Qun said.

“Who says otherwise?” Gwen agreed.

“Isn’t this a good thing? If we ever run into the school doctor, it means something big is about to happen,” Peter said.

"Is the school doctor male or female?"
