America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

Wade was terrified when the green muscle-bound giant appeared behind him, and Hulk's expression instantly turned unhappy.
“You’ve left a bad impression on Hulk.” Dr. Banner calmly took a sip of strong tea.
"Hulk doesn't like you," Hulk said to Wade.
"Hulk? That's your name?"
"Anyone would be terrified if a huge thing suddenly appeared behind them."
“I’m the kind of person who can’t pee if someone’s standing behind me,” Wade explained to Hulk.
"How did you build that physique? Is it all natural?"
Wade circled around Hulk, clearly wanting to touch Hulk's muscular physique.
“It’s not all-natural,” Banner said.
“Super Soldier Program? The military contacted me before, trying to get my dead father’s research data from me. I found out about this term through reverse investigation.” Wade turned to Dr. Banner and said.
"This plan is not a top-secret in academia. Several other major countries in the world have also conducted secret research on it. It's just that the military has repeatedly restarted this plan. The research starting points of the various super soldier programs are different."
"You succeeded? You created the Hulk?"
“The Hulk has always been there,” the Hulk told Wade.
“Yes, the Hulk has always existed. I experimented on myself, and the Hulk is another version of me,” Banner told Wade.
"Are all researchers this crazy? I thought my dad was the craziest one."
“Wade, you think this is crazy, but if our mental state is the same as that of ordinary people, we can't become the smartest ones.”
“I don’t want to understand the mental state of you highly intelligent people,” Wade said.
"The accident that led to Hulk's birth made me realize just how dangerous my research is. In Hulk's hands, tanks are just toys, missiles are just fireworks. If nuclear weapons were used against Hulk, I dare say that Hulk and I could produce an even more terrifying mutation in the explosion of a nuclear warhead."
"Are you Godzilla? Can you absorb radiation energy?"
"It's possible, because that experimental accident was caused by abnormal gamma radiation, and Hulk and I are able to resist the harm of gamma radiation."
"How about we talk about something light and pleasant?"
“Dr. Banner, would you like to spend the night with me? How about something adults would enjoy?” Wade asked.
"Thank you for your kindness, but I can't. Every cell in my body contains gamma radiation energy. You don't know what terrible things might happen if I mess around with women."
"Will it produce a baby Hulk?" Wade chuckled.
Hulk crossed his arms and stared at Wade.
"This is the most beautiful imagination."
"When an ordinary person is suddenly exposed to a large amount of radiation, the parts of their body that have been exposed will begin to ulcerate and fester, unable to heal on their own. And this is only the beginning of a series of torments..."
“If you want more details, I can compile some information for you. During the Cold War, there were numerous cases of poisoning using radioactive elements that you could study,” Dr. Banner said.
"I'd rather not watch it; I don't have a sense of curiosity."
"Dr. Banner, have you had dinner? I haven't."
"It's getting late. Could you take me to the Mainland Hotel? I'd like to get some food."
Wade raised his left wrist, but there was nothing on it; he was pretending he had a watch.
"Are you going to a hotel in mainland China?"
“My ex-girlfriend went back to New York for Thanksgiving, but she’s too popular, so she had to stay in the Continental Hotel, which is a safe haven,” Wade replied.
"You can use the main entrance."
"What do you mean?"
"You still don't know where we are."
Wade walked downstairs without looking back, carefully pushed the door open a crack, and peeked out.
"Not too far."
Wade walked out of the New York Sanctuary and strolled around the streets outside, memorizing the surroundings completely.
When Wade wanted to return to the New York Sanctuary, he found himself unable to find which way the Sanctuary's door faced.
“Magic is so convenient…” Wade remarked.
Wanting to learn the spells of the Kamar-Taj sorcerers, Wade decided in his heart to listen to Bruce Banner for a while and be an honest man for a time.
First, raise Dr. Banner's favorability so that you can be allowed to learn magic. Once you've mastered it, who can control Wade Wilson?
……
The Continental Hotel is located on a street corner in Lower Manhattan, in an old building with a triangular layout.
Wade stood across the street watching people come and go in front of the Continental Hotel. Ordinary people passing by wouldn't think there was anything special about the hotel; they would just think it was an old-fashioned hotel with a long history.
There is no prominent hotel sign on the exterior wall of the hotel; only a slightly greenish bronze door number on the side of the main entrance serves as the address.
The entrance to the Mainland Hotel consists of two heavy solid wood doors with gleaming yellow doorknobs. It takes some effort to push the doors open.
The hotel's main entrance is usually half-open, and through the door you can see the solid wood reception desk in the lobby. The edges of the solid wood reception desk, like the yellow doorknob of the main entrance, have been polished to a shine.
Wade nervously swallowed, then crossed the road towards the Continental Hotel.
At the Y-shaped intersection, every car slowly drives past, and Wade's act of jaywalking happens every few minutes on this street.
The moment Wade Wilson entered the Continental Hotel, everyone in the lobby turned their attention to him.
The African-American receptionist was writing in the hotel logbook with her head down when she noticed the lobby had suddenly quieted down, at which point she looked up and glanced around.
Wade stood at the front desk and straightened his collar; he was still wearing the Wakandan-made suit he'd tricked out of the tailor.
"Welcome to the Continental Hotel. How can I help you, sir?"
“You don’t recognize me?” Wade asked.
"Sir, do you have an appointment? Please tell me your name."
“I’m not here to stay at a hotel, I’m here to find someone,” Wade said.
"I'm sorry, sir, I can't help you."
“I’m here to see my wife; she knows it’s safe here.”
Wade glanced back at the other people in the hotel lobby; he didn't recognize a single one of them.
That's normal.
Professional assassins are more likely to ruin their careers than those in other professions; every year, a large number of veterans retire and newcomers take over.
One of the basic requirements for becoming a legendary assassin is to work for a longer period of time than the four-year term of the President of the United States.
When Wade mentioned that his wife had checked into a hotel, someone whistled in a jeering tone.
The rule in mainland hotels is that killing is not allowed in the hotel; this is a safe zone for life.
However, this rule gradually expanded to "any violence is prohibited in the hotel".
This is a result of guests staying at hotels in mainland China spontaneously expanding the no-killing rule to a broad extent that prohibits all violence, including verbal abuse.
Chapter 218 502 Sticked On
"Charon".
"Yes, sir."
The Black receptionist had his name on his name tag, but Wade knew his name without even looking at it.
“I’ve just retired, not been reincarnated,” Wade whispered to Charon, glancing back at the other people in the hotel lobby.
“I can’t offer any help with your wife’s matter,” Charon whispered to Wade.
"I know you've always hated me, just because I called you that."
“Um…” Charon gave Wade a deep look, his expression and tone remaining unchanged.
What if that's the case?
Wade extended his right index and middle fingers and slowly slipped them into his clothes.
Caron knew what Wade was going to do.
By extending only two fingers, Wade is implying that he won't pull out a gun.
A gold coin was held between Wade's fingers, and it fell to the wooden table with a dull thud.
“Nothing can stop me today,” Wade emphasized.
“Yes, sir. But I still cannot help you,” Charon said.
“You won’t listen to me. Do you know what I want to do?” Wade looked at Charon.
"Give me a room too. I want to stay in room 504, right next to room 503."
"Room 504 is already booked, but room 505 is available."
"Wait a minute, is anyone in room 502?" Wade pushed the gold coin he was holding down with his index finger forward.
“It’s empty,” Charon replied.
"Very good, I want room 502."
Wade raised an eyebrow at Caron triumphantly, but Caron had no idea what Wade was so proud of.
Wade has a lot of small physical movements and an unusually rich range of expressions. Caron had long suspected that Wade Wilson had ADHD, and that Wade himself was unaware that he had this problem.
"Sir, are you staying only one night?" Karon asked politely, writing in beautiful cursive script on the hotel's workbook with a quill pen dipped in ink.
“Yeah, I can stay a few more days… I want to stay until the Thanksgiving holiday is over,” Wade said to Charon.
"Does the Thanksgiving holiday include the two-day weekend following Thanksgiving?" Charon asked cautiously.
"Yes."
Wade nodded.
"OK……"
Wade waited a few minutes. Natasha was also going to stay at the Continental Hotel until the end of the Thanksgiving holiday. Wade suddenly felt that this decision was absolutely right.
